2341  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: ATTN: Unconfirmed Transactions (read before posting!) on: August 16, 2013, 12:42:54 AM
That makes the transaction bigger, which requires more fees, right?
Yes

Here are examples of what you will have access to depending on what option I'll apply

How could I even publish lists about "you" (as in "People who voted for you" and "Votes from you") anyway? Do you think my post is modified depending on the person who is viewing my post?

I'll be clearer though as it looks like it's necessary: those lists are fake, they are examples
2344  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Pywallet 2.1.0: manage your wallets/addresses/keys/tx's on: August 15, 2013, 08:23:10 PM
Thanks for the input, it's really appreciated
I won't have my dev environment with me until next week, I'll integrate this as soon as possible

Does it possible to use "pywallet --recover" with option "--otherversion", how to make it work?

Have two broken wallet.dat on two pc, with some pennies, --otherversion=55/56/57, pywallet do not want to dump them, said "Error in dump page".
Maybe someone knew another way to recover private keys for broken wallets?

Thanks.

Just use it without otherversion, the wallet format is exactly the same for all altcoins
Also AFAIK pywallet is the easier (only?) way to recover broken/deleted wallets

2346  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoins threads in newbie jail + Altcoins on bitcointalk on: August 15, 2013, 07:30:39 PM
Finally!

Should we also report advertising of other Kind in the newbie jail? (would seem a bit hypocritically if only alt coins would be moved, but the newest dice game or "investment" is allowed to stay)

Please do report those as well!  The whole goal with this change is to get rid of spam (giveaways) and anything that's trying to take advantage of people new to bitcoin (gambling/investment).
Great!
2347  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk++ script on: August 15, 2013, 01:50:33 PM
Hey guys, I'm back for writing, not for developping. I should work on the script again within a week.

Todo:
  • Add 'translate.google.com' support. (I think you just need a Code Snippit in the body section.) From https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=266678.0
  • Make it so the 'Reset BT++ password' is on the settings page I deleted it actually
  • Make it optional to hide the 'List of PMs' button, or put it only on the PMs page I moved the link to the settings page
  • Make it so all BT++ buttons are on the same line, separated by dividers There's only the settings page link now
  • Make the MtGox button Hide-able (in the BT++ settings)
  • Error with an address formatting when used in a link
  • Change MtGox to bitcoinaverage You can now choose your price source
  • Make it possible to change the currency of the BTCUSD bar (in the BT++ settings) You can now choose your price source
  • Auto-update on Chrome
  • Use HTTPS
  • Display total votes: [+10/37]
  • Show rankings of voters: [+10Brand new, -3Sr. members, -5Hero members] (this will not look like this mess)
  • JSON jackjack.alwaysdata.net/btoplusone/note.php?no=21053&json=1

Also, please see this poll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=274252
It is about the disclosure of votes
2348  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk++ script - Thoughts about votes on: August 15, 2013, 01:48:55 PM
Looks like people don't agree on this matter

Before you vote, please keep in mind that:
  • You can't choose which account you "trust" like in theymos' trust system: everybody see the sum of all votes from everybody. (for now, it may change if there's enough demand)
  • Drawback of "All": people you rated -1 could rate you -1 too
  • Drawback of "None": I am the only one to have access to the votes and could manipulate them
  • I'll "ban" (not sure how yet) people abusing the system (like voting -1 for everybody) whatever the result is

Comment/explain/etc as much as you want in this thread
Full disclosure: I voted "Hidden"

Note that I don't state I will implement the chosen behaviour, it's just to know what people would prefer
2349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mandatory Update to Nuggets (NUGs) 1.0.1! Get your VGB - Vlad Golden Blocks on: August 13, 2013, 01:23:29 PM
Is everyone hitting the golden blocks now?  I'm not seeing any complaints so I'm hoping all is good.

Sorry - I was out of town for a few days but I'm back now if anyone has any questions.

welcome back,
the golden blocks are working, albeit less frequently than quoted in the launch thread (I'm trying to read most of it) - should it be around 12 per day?
http://altcha.in/chain/Nuggets shows maybe 1, 2 or 3 per day average.

why so many bitching about a premine? You have given the larger part away.
EMD by block count has a larger premine than NUG, where's the 100 pages of rage there?

surely premined coins are essential for a coins future development, give aways, and as incentives for others to build services etc.

You should read the entire Nuggets thread

I'm not sure there's anybody with more than 10k coins

2354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: August 10, 2013, 07:37:41 AM
There's over 1 million registered members in Nambla, the man boy love association and they have lots of money for lobbying.

Just like the Greeks and Romans these sick fucks never have enough freedom.  Now it's marriage and tomorrow there're gonna start raping children cause they were born that way.

Last known count was 1100 members worldwide. It's cute how you try to justify your homophobic sentiments.

You racist bigot, did you not see my post-op transtesticle pics?  I hate racist bigots like you.

At any rate, I'm gonna really busy the next few days so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to check in.

Don't go starting any new races while I'm gone, ya bigots!

Huh
2355  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk++ script on: August 09, 2013, 03:38:10 PM
Not sure about the Google translation but all the rest is easy to do, and will be added within 7 days

Did your mother drink during pregnancy and made your brain as tiny as a cherry because of this?
Or
Did she make you drink whisky-flavored milk after birth which made your brain be as small as the one described above?

No, it’s just commies’ genius injections gone wrong Smiley

Hahahahahaahaaa.

Oh man, I totally forgot about the genius injections.  Shit, had I gotten the 10th and final shot I might be normal now.

Maybe that's why I love my sexy pooch so much.  I think his favorite is doggie style - go figure.

Answer me instead of trying to make me mad

Do you think it's a choice in these cases?
2358  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: -qt question: how do I consolidate several wallet.bat's into one wallet on: August 08, 2013, 08:14:13 AM
1. python pywallet.py --web
2. Open 127.0.0.1:8989 in a browser
3. Look for export to CSV and import from CSV

Tell me if something doesn't work
2359  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Miner's Official Coin LAUNCH - NUGGETS (NUGs) on: August 07, 2013, 02:47:37 PM
So Vlad is gay?

Shocker.

Yes he is. But it was pretty clear from the beginning, when he made clear that he hates woman.

All that obsession with child rapes doesn't look good neither.

Agreed...

Well, this isn't in your DNA, so according to Vlad, you chose to have that gigatiny brain!

Oh and it's backed by centuries of mathematicians and physicians who put physical properties into numbers.
