Is it possible to set profit switch threshold diferents for high limit or low ?
Example.... i wannt mine ETH, if is altcoin higher 30% switch miner to altcoin...

Now i have threshold 30%, but mine altcoin even if is it 29% lower then ETH...

Thank you
I see your point, but there is currently no feature to define this - maybe it can be an improvment later on.

Another option if you think some altcoin pools are less profitable than they claim, you can lower their profit factor by 30%. For the predefined pools you can set the Profit Factor to 0.7 via Options dialog, Online Services. For your own pools, you will find the same setting in the Properties of the pool, in the Advanced section. The profit switcher will then consider these pools to be 30% less profitable compared to what the claim.

I know SIA and all the other old usual suspects have been killed off for dual mining. I'm looking for keccak specifically for XDNA dual mining. Can you show me where ETH+keccak dual mining would be? The only options I see are decred, sia, lbry, pascal, blake2s, and sha-3. Claymore 11.8 supports it.

Try sha-3, that might be keccak in disguise Wink
That's correct. The algorithm itself is listed as "SHA-3 (Keccak)" in Awesome Miner. In the past it was more common that SHA-3 was used as the name, which is the reason why it's listed like that in Awesome Miner. These days Keccak is more common.

It's probably for the Dual Mining it's listed only has "SHA-3" in one of the settings, causing this confusion. I will probably change or clarify that.

Equihash 144,5 AMD Miner Now Available (LOLMiner)

works with AMD and NV

just a heads up I'm sure some will be asking for awesome miner support I'm not yet till I see how well it works. just letting others know encase they miss it.

very thanks
CryptoDredge benchmark incorrect , i select 1 gpu benchmarking but value sum all gpu benchmarked .
Thanks for reporting this issue - it will be resolved in the next release. It turns out that ccminer uses --devices flag, while CryptoDredge expects --device

For Z-Enemy miner is the same issue, otherwise is working great (Z-enemy and CryptoDredge) so THANKS a LOT for that Smiley
M.
I couldn't reproduce the issue with z-enemy. It looks like it's accepting --devices, and the documentation for it also indicates --devices. Can you share more details on this?

Hi Patrike,

can you take a look at lolminer for equihash 144.5 for nvidia and amd cards.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4591317.0

Do you add equihash 144.5 and 197.2 in the next release?

Feature request:

Is it possible to make a button in managed miner properties, to save this as a managed template?
I test new configuration on 1 Rig and when all fine, i make a managed template and add it to all other rigs, but i need make the configuration 2 times at the moment.

Thanks
Hi,
I couldn't find any information about that this software provides any monitoring interface (API), where Awesome Miner can get hashrate information and more. The only option would then be to add it as a Generic Miner:
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/genericminer.aspx

Awesome Miner supports EWBF Equihash miner already. The algorithms are listed as Equihash Zero (197,2) and ZHash (144,5) in Awesome Miner. All these forks and numbers are getting a bit complex.

Good suggestion about saving to a Managed Template - that would make perfect sense. Thanks!

Remote Agent on Linux is currently being developed. I have a prototype running already, and I expect to have a public beta version available next month. Right now it only provides automatic download of a very limited number of mining software, the overclocking feature isn't available and there are a few other implementation items to sort out.

This is exciting news!  I'm currently running a mix of Windows rigs controlled by AM and Linux rigs controlled by HIVE OS.  I also ran nvOC for a while, but the lack of central management with a lot of rigs was a challenge.  While HIVE has a nice dashboard and pushing changes to a lot of rigs at once is nice, there is no profit switching support, and the overall list of features compared to AM, is much smaller.

Is the Linux Remote Agent based on a particular distro?  Will be Agent be part of a complete image, or something the the user installs on top of an existing distro of their choice?  I would think the former would be preferred to "lock in" the environment and keep support enquirers down.
The first release will not be a distribution at all, just a file you download, extract and install. This will make sure Remote Agent is automatically started when Linux is booting. You should be able to run it on anything that's based on Ubuntu, including running it on top of HiveOS.

Creating a new Linux distribution is a larger task and will probably not be a focus area for this year. So far everyone that asked for Remote Agent on Linux already have some kind of mining setup running on Linux.

PLEASE ADD BITTUBE COIN for AMD with CAST XMR....

Thankyou  Grin
CastXMR 1.3 and CryptoNight Saber will be included in the next development version, planned to be available within the next 1 - 2 days.

I can also point of a new feature available in the latest development version (5.2.4), where you can specify where Awesome Miner should download the mining software from.

If the automatic download feature in Awesome Miner is on CastXMR 1.2.5 as in the example below, you can change that to point to version 1.3.0 instead. With this change, Awesome Miner will download and run the 1.3.0 version instead.

Earlier you could of course manually download the software and then upload it to your miners, but this process should make it a bit easier as it's based on the automatic download concept.

Please go to the Options dialog, Managed Software section, and edit CastXMR as illustrated in the screenshot below.

Question on licensing.  I currently have the Premium edition licensing which allows for 20 miners.  I actually have 22 miners and don't see that going up significantly any time soon, given the current climate.  I can't see paying another $170 just to gain visibility to those last 2 miners.  I also don't care for multi-user access control as I'm the only one managing the rigs, which is the only additional feature I would gain by going to the Enterprise edition.

Have you considered offering like a 5-pack or something of just additional miners with no additional features?

Also curious if a Remote Agent for Ubuntu is on the road-map at all?
Thanks for your feedback on this. The editions of Awesome Miner are unfortunately not very flexible from this point of view. They have a fixed number of miners, and it's not possible to add only a few more miners. The idea is that once you go above the limit for one edition, you need to go to the next. The idea is to keep everything as simple as possible with these predefined editions.

Hi,

Dev Team, could you please adding full support for Bitmain Z9 miner.

For some reason if I add pool to miner from awesome miner, miner console on bitmain stopped show statistics until reboot.
Have you tried with another pool? There have been instances where Antminers simply not working well with certain pools and the result is that they stop answering monitoring requests from applications like Awesome Miner.

I have 3 Z9's that I monitor from AM.  Have had no issues to date.  I started out on MPH on 6/22 but have since switched to Luxor.

One thing I should mentioned through, is that the main temperature displayed for the Z9 is the PCB temp.  Shouldn't the Chip temp be the main one? (the temp displayed in the compact view)

Miner view from Z9 status page:

And summary view from AM:

AM ASIC tab:

The Chip temp is always higher than the PCB temp and is the more critical one to keep an eye on, no?
You can configure Awesome Miner to show the chip temperature in the list of miners. Go to the Options dialog, General section and enable "Display Antminer chip temperature in Status column".

Also note that the rules in Awesome Miner (the Temperature Trigger) can be configured to either use the PCB temperature or the Chip temperature.

Awesome Miner version 5.2.4 (Development preview of 5.3)

Hi, Patrick
Starting with versions 5.2.3 and 5.2.4 respectively, began to observe this picture
Code:
http://images2.imagebam.com/cc/7b/a9/3273be910022894.PNG
And as a consequence, the "profit switcher" switches all ant on this coin, peeling off BTC / DGB, etc., which are the most profitable
Is it possible to make some sort of averaging of the price, when data is taken from several calculators?

PS thanks for the windows tied to the monitor, it really works and saves time when setting up
WhatToMine and Coincalculators.io uses different short name on Maza, which is why they both show up. I suppose one these short names are incorrect. Otherwise Awesome Miner will only use one of these sources, depending on the priority defined in the Options dialog, Statistics section.

I do understand your point about avg. value, but the concept at the moment is to only display the coin from one of the sources.

This is quite weird situation. Awesome miner is working all the time, but internal web page for monitoring is loading data until reboot. Mining never stopped and actually switch pools, but web interface never updates from Awesome console.
I'm not sure if I fully understood the last part here. Is the information in Awesome Miner displayed incorrect compared to what's actually going on? Do you have any more details to share on this? Thanks!

Any plans to support the new excavator ? seems to be the fastest at lyra2z also now.
No support for other pools than nicehas doh Sad
I've received a few requests for this one, so it will be supported later on. I'm however getting the impression that the Excavator miner isn't as popular to use these day, because it's limited to the Nicehash pool only like you point out.

If I want to add this to online services.  what would be the Algorithm api identifier?

Seems its a # in the other nice hash online services.
I have all this
stratum+tcp://x16r.usa.nicehash.com:3366
username: YourBitcoinAddress
password: x

Please advise

Thanks again
I will add this one in the next update.

Nicehash uses 33 as the API identifier for X16r:

Awesome Miner version 5.2.4 (Development preview of 5.3)

- The Managed Hosts configuration in the Options dialog has been improved to allow finding hosts without miners and a bulk edit feature to enable or disable hosts
- Predefined mining software (Managed Software) can be configured with a custom download URL and executable, to give more flexibility on which version to use for the automatic download feature
- Added user defined Managed Software compatibility mode 'Command Line', where no API flags are added when launching the mining software
- Increased maximum time for the rule action 'Wait'
- PhoenixMiner pool setting PROTO can be specified in the Properties dialog of a pool
- Support for using Tensority pools with Bminer
- Better detection of Innosilicon A9Z miner
- The information on the Coins tab is presented with more columns and additional details like coins per day.
- Notifications are listed with the hostname or IP address of the miner
- The Notification list will always use time as secondary sorting column when sorting on another columns
- Benchmarking will by default always use pools instead of offline benchmark mode (supported by Ccminer, CpuMiner), with a new setting to enable benchmark without pools if needed
- Values and profit numbers are expressed with at least two significant digits
- Dialog positioning improved for multi screen usage
- Display profit information from MultiPool.us pools
- Updated list of algorithms for predefined pools
- Added mining software: CryptoDredge 0.6

- Ccminer 2.3
- XMRig CPU miner 2.6.3

Items in blue are updated since the last development preview.

To get access to development versions, open the Options dialog in Awesome Miner. In the General section, enable Check for development versions. Then go to the Menu and click Check for updates

You should really consider a tiered system for paying for the premium level or lower the version needed for reporting. I'm a small miner, I can't pay $170 just to get reporting for a small miner. Have you considered charging per miner for long term stats keeping? I could see paying for the professional version if it had stats, but that's all I'm really interested in. $170 is incredibly steep just for reporting for 1 single miner.
Thanks for your feedback. Pricing can be difficult, as there can always be scenarios where the combination of pricing, feature levels and number of miners doesn't match all expectations. There are a number of fixed editions for Awesome Miner, where the features and number of miners are fixed. The current concept is that either more features or more miners will require a higher edition.

One reason why it make sense to let the feature level force a specific edition is that from a technical support point of view, more features results in more support questions - while the difference between 4 or 20 miners typically don't generate more support questions.
2578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: July 01, 2018, 06:40:04 PM
Patrike two days ago when it came out install the latest version, the one that brings ccminer 2.3. My surprise has been that Ccminer has not been installed with the update, I had to add it yesterday as managed software and without problems.

I do not know what happened, I updated from the same program, but I do not understand why ccminer 2.3 was not installed. I mention it as a note in case the same thing happens to other people.
If you use the Automatic download feature, which is default, the Ccminer 2.3 should have been used the next time you start the miner. Please note that the Remote Agent also needs to be of the latest version.

If you run the Diagnostics on the miner, does the zip-file name and folder name indicates that it tries to launch Ccminer 2.3?
2579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: July 01, 2018, 06:36:48 PM
Hey Patrike, continuing to enjoy your improvements in AM. One thing I very much hope you consider adding is automated driver updating. Perhaps not completely automatic, but rather it will help you deploy across multiple rigs as this is a very time consuming process manually (or having to reclone them).

There are plenty of command line options that can be used to automate the process and it definitely could be done by AM. Perhaps AM allowing you to pick your version, pick what installs, and make sure it downloads the right version for windows.

I think a lot of people would like this feature. Optionally adding DDU remote support that will go through the hoops.
Hi again.

Thanks for the suggestion. Awesome Miner do have features to launch any remote commands via the Remote Agents, and used together with the rules and Manual Actions, there can be some level of automation. However, for this specific scenario I do agree with your point that Awesome Miner itself needs to provide more information and specific behaviors as well, as it's not only about executing commands. I will consider this. Thanks!

I'm having problems with the Aftherburner Remote server. On two computers that I have, it does not initialize, or if it does, but when I put the pointer on it it closes.

They are two newly formatted computers. I downloaded the suggested DLL from the Awesome help page, but it still does not work.

It does like loading, it goes out in the notification area, but when it goes to the icon, it goes and closes. As a result, I can not handle the remote.

It's all in Awesome well configured and I have it installed in the same directory on all machines

The chance gives that the two teams, yesterday one and today another, do not start, I have been trying this for several hours.

Neither pulling it directly or I clicking on the icon, it goes out in the notification area but it disappears and it does not work. The remote rigs are restarted because I can not lower the OC .....

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? , I can think that a computer is crazy, but it is happening to me in two machines ... Last versions of Aftherburner and Remote Server, and updated the DLL as it suggests in Awesome help.
It can not be that it is the only one that is experiencing this.

Video

you may need to change the folders it's in, Ive had the same issue form time to time to fix it i put it in a new folder or renamed the folder on all my rigs then changed it in awesome miner . then it worked and stayed open i couldn't find any other way to fix it . yet .

Kind of why i wish awesome miner had it's own OC  which would fix a lot and lower the over head needed to run over clocking having it all done in house so to speak .

patrike  said a while back he would look into it but it would take some time which it will it's like writing new software.

Thank you very much, now everything worked. How strange it is to change the folder and therefore the programmer of tasks to launch. Let's see if this gives PAtrike stability, there's a lot of work
The MSI Afterburner Remote Server software is always starting with Admin privileges, and can for that reason be a bit sensitive or difficult to launch under some conditions. In your video it looked like it crashed on startup, even when launched without Awesome Miner. Good that you found a solution.
