BTW exchange rate for this coin is correct.
So:
My hash rate - correct
Exchange rate - correct
Difficulty - correct
Coins/Day calculated by AW - waaaay off
This coin probably requires a unique exponential factor. It's set to 5 by default for EquihashZero in Awesome Miner and works fine for the Zero coin for example. This factor can manually be overridden in the Properties dialog for a coin in Awesome Miner.

For this coin it is likely a little higher value, but unfortunately I don't know what it is and where to find it. I can get in touch with the CoinToMine admin to see if it can be provided via the API to Awesome Miner.

Edit:
About Zero coin that was discuessed earlier. I think the solution for Zero is to enable Exchange Volume filtering in Awesome Miner. That will make Awesome Miner ignore the statistics where the trade volume is very low (and less likely to be accurate). Please go to the Options dialog, Statistics Providers section where you can set the minimum exchange volume to something like 0.1
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 30, 2019, 12:25:30 PM
Guys.
I notice that calculations for all new equihash algos are way off, for example Equihash Zero earnings are not even near to reality. AW is calculating that I will mine much more coins per day than it really is. Please advice.
I can see that there are a few coins provided by CoinToMine that use exchange rates that are quite high.

The Zero coin is an example. If you manually add Zero for CoinCalculators.io:
https://www.coincalculators.io/api.aspx?name=zero
you will see that the number in Awesome Miner matches exactly what's specified on the CoinCalculatios.io web site and it's about half of what CoinToMine provides in terms of revenue.

Hi Patrike,

is there an error in the profitability calculation with some scrypt-coins as for example Einsteinium (EMC2)?
Awesome-Miner shows a revenue of about 10 Euro per Day with 510 MH/s?
then if i mine in different pools (such as mining-dutch) AM also shows this revenue and a profit of about 8 Euro per Day.

but in reality, the revenue is about 1 Euro?!

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

When I configure scrypt for 510MH/s I get a revenue per day of $1.21 in Awesome Miner.
Have you entered any custom profit factor for either the coin or for the pool? Do you see the high values on the Coins tab as well?

Hi Patrike,

unfortunatly i didn't enter any custom profit factor?! and yes - i see the high values on the Coins tab as well!
i think the reason is the value shown in the column Exchange - the shown price is not correct?!

i didn't change anything in the Statistics Providers either: WhatToMine.com, CoinCalculators.io and CoinToMine.today are activated?!

BR Ralf
Do you get any other result if you change the order of the statistics provider, to make sure the data is loaded from one of the others? In case it's only one of them providing incorrect stats.

If you wasn't able to resolve the issue, can you please send me a screenshot of this coin on the Coins tab? Thanks!

I just started having a problem with GrinPro miner with my 4 AMD cards.
Any ideas?

Maybe you need to increase windows virtual memory? I think around 8 GB per card did the trick for me. Are your 570’s 8GB? Don't think you can mine Grin with anything under 6.

That's definitely not it.
I have 263424 MB of virtual memory for four 8GB cards. (Yes, I have the 8GB version, not the 4GB)
It wasn't until I updated AM to 6.1.9 that the problem occurred.

EDIT:

I figured it out! The problem was in the config.xml file.

<GPUOption>
      <GPUName>Radeon RX 570 Series</GPUName>
      <GPUType>AMD</GPUType>

      <DeviceID>0</DeviceID>
      <PlatformID>1</PlatformID>
      <Enabled>true</Enabled>

I had to change my PlatformID from 0 to 1 but when I saved it and started AM it would set it back to 0 again. For some reason AM kept changing it to 0 which was causing it to fail so I also had to change the permissions to Read Only.

Thanks for finding this. There isn't really any documentation for what PlatformID is referring to here but I will assume that in the case of AMD it's the OpenCL platform ID.
Do you have other GPU's on this system as well (either nVidia or an active Intel on-board GPU)?

I will change the next release of Awesome Miner to automatically set the PlatformID to the AMD OpenCL platform ID. Please let me know your feedback once the new version is available. Thanks!

Patrike,

I just want to say THANKS for that new editable pool-list "Add additional pools to Managed Profit Switching" instead of the old drop-down. Dunno in which of the newer versions it was integrated, but its awesome! Makes everything much, much easier.

Edit: Something seems strange with GRIN calculation in AM.

If I manually check coincalculators for BEAM with 287 H/s, 0 Power Cost, 0 Pool Fee, Latest Price and Current Difficulty, it says 5.56 coins per day. This will match 100% with AM. So everything is fine.
If I check GRIN with 58 H/s and same settings, it says 1.79 coins per day. But in AM it says 1.4 coins per day. Also tried the calculator on F2Pool, it says 1.71 coins. So its definitely not the lower 1.4 coins.

Is this a bug or is it any settings in AM? Can you please check this? Because it makes the calculation wrong and a rig should be mining GRIN, not BEAM. Right now I bypassed this by setting a profit factor of 1,25 for GRIN.

Thank you!
I've asked CoinCalculators admin about Grin as well. For AE CoinCalculators was using a -12% pool luck which caused the numbers to be different on their web site compared to what was reported to Awesome Miner.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 30, 2019, 09:38:17 AM
Thanks for the update, the context menu worked and I could use customer pool again.
Also support AE coin, although the hash rate and the price count were not accurate vs actual, but could use profit factor in the customer pool solve temporary, it's good.

Good work and keep it.

thanks again.
Thanks for the nice comments.

For AE it looks like Awesome Miner gives values that are about 12% higher, but the calculations made are correct based on the numbers and assumptions made by Awesome Miner. I've contacted CoinCalculators admin about this because it might be some unique secret to the calculations for this specific coin.
I've got a response from CoinCalculators and they are assuming a -12% pool luck for AE, resulting in that the number you see in Awesome Miner doesn't exactly match what CoinCalculators list on the web site.

There are currently no automatic solution to this, but I've suggested to make this information available.
1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 29, 2019, 09:25:33 PM

It looks like a known issue according to the Gminer thread. It works fine to mine on Nicehash for a while, but then you run into errors.

But is it possible for AM to report/use 'total_accepted_shares' when there is no accepted per device?

gminer's /stat:
{"uptime":59,"server":"stratum://beam.usa.nicehash.com:3370","user": "X.Y","algorithm":"Equihash 150,5 \"Beam-PoW\"","electricity":0.004,"total_accepted_shares":14,"total_rejected_shares":0,"devices":[{"gpu_id":0,"cuda_id":0,"bus_id":"0000:01:00.0","name":"EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB","speed":31,"temperature":73,"temperature_limit":90,"power_usage":256}],"speedRatePrecision":0,"speedUnit":"Sol/s","powerUnit":"Sol/W"}
Thanks for finding this one. The official API is not returning this information, but the data used by the Gminer web interface that you point to here do include it. I will make use of this information about shares.

And my Edit: I figured it out. If I set this under Statistic Providers/Exchange filter mode -> Set mining revenue to zero -> Minimum exchange volume (BTC): 1, all will be greyed out as in the picture. If I disable the filter mode, everything works fine. I think this is because there is no exchange in coincalculators, right?
Yes!
1809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 29, 2019, 07:48:24 PM
The revenue and profit of BEAM in the Coins-Tab are greyed out. So all my BEAM miners will show $0. Is there any trick to show the price or is it still not possible?

The $2.14 on exchange it shows correctly, but everything else on the right side seems garbage Smiley

Is this with the latest version of Awesome Miner? The reason I'm asking is that it looks fine on my system and there was a change about a week ago to the Equihash 150,5 calculations on CoinCalculators.io that Awesome Miner adjusted to a few versions ago.

This coin doesn't have any active exchanges listed - so it's currently marked as gray for that reason.

Hey Patrike,

Yes, its the latest version. Did the update today, but same picture. I also thought its because of the missing exchange. But ZCoin XZC also have no exchange visible and it works.

Edit: I figured it out.
I just found the BEAM issue for you. You have entered the hashrate in MH/s when it should be H/s Smiley

For the filtering, this is one of the few coins that lacks an active exchange right now so this is the behavior with the current implementation when configured to set revenue to zero.

another minor request...i cant scroll with mouse (for example in coin list) - my failure or can you add this "feature"
The coin list is scrollable with the mouse. Does the control have input focus when you do the scrolling (click on it first to make sure)?

Wow, quick update Patrike!  Still having a problem with Grin Pro miner though.  While it now recognizes & initializes GPUs, it stays stuck on "starting" and never makes it to "ONLINE" status.  Below are my config files both working and what Awesomeminer produced so you can see what's going on.  There's a number of differences, and I'm not sure how to tell Awesomeminer how to do it...

One difference is the SSL setting for the pool connection, where it's enabled in the working example. Can you try to modify the pool URL to be "stratum+ssl://us-east-stratum.grinmint.com:4416" and give it a try?

YES!  That did it.  One more thing, the amount of time of mining displayed in the status column in AM isn't increasing for GRIN using Grin Pro.  Stuck at 0h 0m.  My other miners are displaying the time properly. Not a big deal for me really, but just thought you'd like to know.
The Grin Pro API is a bit unique here as it isn't returning information about how long the mining has been running. Awesome Miner should however figure this out if you have a Managed Miner and put the numbers in there anyway. I will look into that.

Awesome Miner version 6.1.9

 Integration
  - Nicehash Beam mining pool added
  - Zergpool EnergiHash pool added (currently no built-in software support for this algorithm)
 User interface
  - Added additional coin icons
  - Context menu added to the custom pool configuration for the profit switcher
 Mining software

hi - how hide agent icon on trayit windows?
Please see the section "Remote Service Configuration":
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000085713-remote-agent-control-mining-on-a-remote-computer
There is a checkbox to hide this icon.

thanks . a question how to make schedule for themplate in profit mode for time and cpu core ?
You can use the Rules to define schedules by making use of Triggers. There are also a number of examples in the guide below:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000085907-rules-detect-mining-issues-and-automate-tasks

Are you using Managed Profit Miners? What is the exact action you want to happen on a given time?

i want use night full power cpu and day use one core of process . and use Managed Profit Miners
My recommendation is to create two Managed Templates:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000086012-managed-templates-switch-managed-miner-settings-quickly
You configure one with a command line that makes use of a single CPU core and the other one to use all.

As part of the rules (see the examples on the previous Rules-link) you can have time-trigger and combine them with an action to "Apply Managed Template". You can create one rule that triggers in the morning that will apply the first template and then a second rule that triggers in the evening that will apply the second template.

thanks . but dont now how create command ? how do that? and how i do that in profit mode
For Managed Profit Miners, you can have two Profit Profiles and define different command line arguments for them - one to use single core and one to use all. You can then have the rules to switch between the profiles. There is however a drawback here and that's that the switch will not be instant if you already are mining what is most profitable. So it should be combined with a Restart Miner command.

You can define Profit Profiles in the Options dialog, Profit Profile section. You can use the existing one for CPU mining and clone it. In the clone you can enter "Additional command line" in a way that makes it mine on a single core.

In the rules (Options dialog, Rules section), create two rules
Rule 1)
Trigger: Time trigger at a time in the morning.
Action#1: Apply Profit Profile - the one with a single core
Action#2: Miner Command, Restart Miner

Rule 2)
Trigger: Time trigger at a time in the evening.
Action#1: Apply Profit Profile - the one with all cores
Action#2: Miner Command, Restart Miner

The exact command line arguments for using a single core will depend on the mining software you use. Some CPU mining software use: -t 1

Hi Patrike

Can you add nrghash from zergpool port 3100

And the official miner from  https://github.com/energicryptocurrency/energiminer/releases

That would be super!

Thanks in advance
I will make sure Awesome Miner detect "nrghash" and map it to the EnergiHash algorithm. This will make it show up with correct revenue information.

For the mining software I will note your request but it will not be part of the next release. It will also depend on how popular it becomes. Many thanks for the suggestion - it's always appreciated and all requests are noted!
