Today, the profit of miners is almost zero, the cost of equipment decreases almost every day, but at the same time your program, on the contrary, grows in price. Where is the logic?
It would be more logical to give discounts in such long moments of falling.
How do you think?
Hi and thanks for your comments.

The last price adjustment for Awesome Miner was in December 2017 (10 months ago) and the change was quite small (at most +20% for some licenses). There is no direct relation between the license cost for Awesome Miner and the profitability of mining.

I still hope that you will find the software valuable and that it will save you both time and money when running your mining operations.

@patrike

Can you add in Online Services->User defined online services->Custom (Yiimp compatible) the option to set a coin??

I think itīs useful in cases where the api provided by the pool does not give us data, so if we can put the currency in particular (or if not, we put Unspecified and we continue with the api's pool data(which we will do)) , we will have an idea more realistic than we get, either in number of coins, value, etc ...

Thanks a lot for your software and keep up the good work
Thanks for your nice feedback!

In this scenario I think you can add it as a standard pool in the Options dialog, Pools section, where you can add the pool URL and specify the exact coin you are mining.

When benchmarking wildrig on several algos, it never gets above 0h/s. Just shows new jobs being received from the pool but no shares being accepted. Tried different pools as well.
I wasn't able to reproduce this issue. Do you get any hashrate with Wildrig while mining normally (not benchmarking)?

Thanks for sharing the link. I agree with your point that the release notes should be possible to access from the menu.
2245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: October 10, 2018, 11:15:01 AM
Awesome Miner version 5.7

 GPU mining
  - Use -d as device parameter for Ccminer based mining software to increase compatibility with more software
  - Disable the CryptoDredge miner watchdog as it's not relevant when used via Awesome Miner and can cause multiple mining software instances to be started
  - Additional algorithms included by default, including support via the predefined Yiimp-based pools
 Configuration
  - Added a new setting for keeping coins that have been removed from coin statistics sources (for example when a coin is being removed from WhatToMine or CoinCalculators). Enabled by default and configurable via Options dialog, Statistics Providers section.
  - Added a new setting to add new coins as hidden, to not automatically show up in Awesome Miner unless configured to be visible. Configurable via the Options dialog, Coins & Profit section.
  - Reorganized the Statistics section in the Options dialog into two sections, Statistics Providers and Statistics Settings
 Rules
  - Time trigger improved by supporting multiple intervals where it will trigger continuously. Can be used in combination with other triggers.
 Features and integration
  - Increased number of history entries for profit switcher from 10 to 40
  - Ctrl+C can be used to copy pool information from the Pools tab of the selected miner to the Clipboard
  - Additional Block Explorers included for wallet balance feature
  - Adjust hashrate units based on latest profitability API changes made by Nicehash
 Mining software
  - Added mining software: WildRig Multi Miner 0.12 beta for AMD
  - ProgPow Miner 0.16 for AMD and nVidia
  - Z-enemy Miner 1.22, including support for more algorithms
  - CcMiner KlausT 8.23, including correction to x14 algorithm parameter
  - SrbMiner 1.6.8
  - T-Rex miner 0.7.0
 Corrections
  - Correction to the scenario where a custom pool is added with the same URL as one of the predefined pools - but with a specific coin specified. Now Awesome Miner will use the profitability information based on the actual coin selected, which is for example useful when mining a specific coin on Yiimp-based pools via the mc= parameter.
  - Minor corrections

Hi,

thanks for WildRigMulti (amd).

Is it possible to add this coin statistic provider?

https://shittomine.com/

Bye!
I've received information that they are about to develop and API where external applications like Awesome Miner can access the coin statistics - so it can probably be supported in the future.
2247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: October 10, 2018, 10:17:58 AM
Nicehash has just changed the hashrate unit for 4 of their algorithms (Ethereum, Decred, Blake2b, Cryptonight). The result is that these algorithms currently are displayed with a profitability 1000 times higher than normal.

There will very soon be a new Awesome Miner release that adjust to these changes made by Nicehash.

For Yiimp based pools Awesome Miner can read the hashrate unit directly from the API, to automatically know if the profitability is expressed in BTC/MH, BTC/GH or BTC/TH for example. For Nicehash this information is not available and Awesome Miner must be adjusted every time there is a change.

Hi patrike,

Is it possible to add "zjazz" miner? It has ccminer compatible API. I've been testing it under AM for over a week and it works like it is suppose to do.

The supported Algorithms are cuckoo (Merit coin, Bitcash) and the new one x22i (SUQA coin).

Here is the GitHub link. https://github.com/zjazz

Thanks for the suggestion - I will take a look. The general idea is to support all mining software that are "popular", so if there are several requests to support something, it's typically getting supported.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: October 10, 2018, 06:32:24 AM
i see the estimated earnings for my gpu/cpu rigs but I see nothing about the earnings my ASICs are making - does AM do that for ASICs? is it pool specific?
Is it that you don't see the Coin name at all in the right column (Coin) in the list of miners? If that's the case you need to inform Awesome Miner which coin you are mining. Please right click on the miner and select Define Pool Coin.

If it's about profit after power costs, please use the Profit Profile concept as @zaqwsx pointed out above.

was looking more for it to track the rewards within the pool - when I set it up, I had to give it the log in credentials to the pool. So far as I can tell AM is providing me the information as it sees it at the miner - I was curious if it could also provide the information from the pool.

for example, I am using kano.is pool for 5 asic's - In the last week, there have been 8 block rewards - can AM report on that, using the rewards and the time spent on the pool to calculate the profitability?
Thanks for the information. Awesome Miner currently is not able to get this kind of information from the pools.

You need to set a profile for you ASIC with the information required (hashrate and power usage). Then you have to specify the coin you are mining.

how? I see no option to creating a profile for ASICs - also I cannot figure out how to set it up for accessing AM via mobile. I have tried numerous things and no matter what I do it is still only accessible on network.
Did you define a coin for the pool so you can see the revenue to begin with? Can you attach a screenshot of this miner to illustrate?

For the mobile web interface - there are two options here.
1) Either you go for a Cloud Services subscription and then everything should simply work and you can access it from any network.
2) The other option is to use the built-in web interface where you manually need to configure your router if you want to access the web interface from the outside. If the web interface works on the local network, the work to make it accessible from the outside is about port forwarding configuration in your router.

Srb1.6.7 download link of http://www.srbminer.com/downloads/SRBMiner-CN-V1-6-7.zip  goes to

Not Found
The requested URL /downloads/SRBMiner-CN-V1-6-7.zip was not found on this server.

Maybe you can update that as well in next release.  Seems he uses mega only now so I had to download locally and install that way.

Thanks
Thanks for letting me know - that link used to work.

From the next release Awesome Miner will use the following link instead - and you can manually start using it already today via the Options dialog, Managed Software, for SRBMiner:

Hi,

it would be nice if the following miner for amd gpu were integrated:

WildRig Multi (bcd, c11, geek, hex, hmq1725, phi, renesis, sonoa, timetravel, tribus, x16r, x16s, x17)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5023676.0

teamredminer (phi2, lyra2z)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5027811.0

I tried to enter them manually but without results.

Sorry for the bad english.

Thanks.
Thanks for your feedback.

WildRig will be included in a development release planned for tomorrow.

TeamRedMiner doesn't have any monitoring interface (API) yet, so it could be supported later on once they add support for it.

So which box is better to check for Nvidia profitability algo switching, WhatToMine or CoinCalculators or both??

Well the one I would prefer more would be the more profitable and accurate one. So which should be on top? Thanks
I don't think it's possible to say that one or the other is better and this is why Awesome Miner lets you prioritize based on any personal preference. In theory it should be more or less the same information for a specific coin.

I have a question, in the tab online services appears for each A-L-G-O and pool, a profit that calculates it. I leave a capture in case there are doubts.

But then in options - Profift Switching, I can also establish a profit value for each protocol of Zpool and Nicehash.

My question is, if the profit that appears in the Online Services tab, is self-applied, or is it just a reference for me to modify it in Profift Switching. That's the question I have.

Ideally, the calculation of Services Online will be applied, but I really do not know if it is only informative, or it really applies dynamically in the profift of each A-L-G-O and pool.

If it were only a reference that does not apply, you could put a button to automatically apply that profit to the pool and protocol.
The values on the Online Services tab are based on the profitability numbers provided by the pools.

Because you have enabled "Actual Performance", Awesome Miner will automatically adjust the profitability (BTC/GH/day) accordingly - both on the Online Services tab and when the profit switcher is making calculations.

You can also manually set a Profit Factor in the Options dialog, Online Services section, where you for example can set that Zpool C11 should have a factor of 2. The result would be that the BTC/GH/day value displayed in the Online Services tab for Zpool C11 whould be twice as high. The profit switcher will also be affected in the same way and consider this pool more profitable.

You can also use the Profit Factor concept to make all Zpool entires less profitable - for example if you only want to mine on Zpool if it's really much more profitable than anything else. You can select multiple entries in the Options dialog, Online Services section and use the Bulk Edit button to set profit factor of all selected entries to a value of for example 0.6. The result is that the profit switcher will consider these pools to be less profitable (income is calculated to be 60% of what's reported from the pool).
2258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: lbk3 and x14 for zpool on: October 07, 2018, 12:12:09 PM
Yes, I agree with Alinaops. If you could please add the lbk3 algorithm (which uses CryptoDredge) for zpool, I would also appreciate that.
x14 was also added back by zpool. So, I added it back under User defined online services which allowed me to benchmark it with ccminer 2.3, but Ccminer KlausT would not benchmark. I did a little checking and found out that in Predefined Managed Software Properties - Ccminer KlausT the Default command line argument is incorrectly set to x15 for the x14 algorithm. So if you could fix that, I would appreciate that as well.
Thanks for the feedback.

I will add LBK3 to the development release planned for tomorrow and also make sure it's enabled by default for CryptoDredge. I will also update Ccminer KlausT to the latest version and correct the x14 algorithm issue you pointed out.

Please add the newly released but the most popular X22i algo SUQA currency to Awesome Miner.
It is already being mined in 3 major pools and 6 small pools.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5038269.0
Coins that are added to either WhatToMine.com or CoinCalculators.io are automatically showing up with statistics in Awesome Miner. If the algorithm is new it might have to be added manually first, but I'm trying to keep Awesome Miner up-to-date with the algorithms on these web sites.

WildRig Multi 0.12.0 Beta With More Algorithms and Performance
I've just implemented support for WildRig and it will be included in the next release. There will probably be a development release available in about 2 days from now.
