Patrike,

Feature request for Managed Miners.

Add option to add a wallet address for each GPU that's set as a miner on it's own.

Add option to select the ticker for the password for the wallet address / coin (Yiimp pools).

Each GPU can then mine to a different wallet address on the pool.

Example, 6 card system, each card mines a different algo, but I want to set one of those cards to mine to a different wallet address and not to the one that's set in Options > Profit Switching.

In the picture enclosed there is no way to set this, can you add this feature where the user can control this for a Managed Miner ?

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoT9lvLcOWd_hhruy3BvMEGJ0-R5

Thanks for the suggestions.

For the configuration of wallet per GPU of a miner - that will not be supported as a miner in Awesome Miner currently represents a mining process and no mining software allows using different wallet settings per GPU. For this reason you will always end up having multiple managed miners if you want each individual GPU to have a unique wallet address.

If you use Managed Profit Miners, you do have settings to override the global wallet settings per miner.

Hi some suggestions to make awesome miner, even more awesome.

Always have the software check for api access on Antminers every time there is a change. Its a pain to go in each time and set up api access each time I make a change in the miner.

I know awesome miner is heavily marketed towards GPUS , but what about us asic farm owners? Could you PLEASE add in a few more multipools? With just a few in the list the profits are really bad. $2-3 a day for an L3+ Sad

Here are some ideas:

Multipool.us
https://pool.gigarho.com/ (582 miners as I write this)
Hash2coins.com (1200+ miners). 1100 Ghs of scrypt.

I do support you. Just upgraded to enterprise.

You guys are truly "awesome"!!

Vegas
Hi and thanks for your nice feedback.

There is a feature where Awesome Miner can automatically detect miners with Restricted API and reconfigure them. Please see "Automatic detection and configuration of Antminers with Restricted API access":
http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/antminerapi.aspx

Thanks for your feedback on supporting more pools. Some of these doesn't have any statistics API's available.

Gigarho do have an API URL at: https://pool.gigarho.com/api/status
For this reason, it can probably be supported with profit information if you add it as a custom Online Service:

How can I troubleshoot the reason why upgrading the Remote Agent does not work on any of my rigs? I have to manually login to each system and run the installer. I never see any errors, just the old version starts back up. I have Windows Update service disabled (did not work enabled), but nothing seems to get it to work.

Thanks,
NetWhiz
1) Is it always working if you manually launch the same MSI file that Awesome Miner is trying to run?
%appdata%\AwesomeMinerService\AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi

2) Can you open the Start menu and enter "Services" to open the Windows Services configuration. Is the service called "IntelliBreeze Software Maintenance Service" running?

one question: when CryptoDredge integration? i know about api. in current it's ugly work with awersome (w/o any status and hashrate). but hashrate +10 - 15%. parse screen while api not released.... or may release universal capture interface? like this:

accept string:[ "accepted: *, "nn.nn" MH/s yes!" ]

where nn.nn = accept status and hashrate
or use wildecard syntax.

cryptodredge log:

Can not upgrade from 5.1.3. on one machine. Tried manual and in the gui.

Keeps saying "the feature you are trying to use in on a network resource that is unavailable."
If i point it to the msi file i get "the file AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi is not a valid installation package for the product Awesome Miner Remote Agen" .....

Tried upgrading by just running the msi file from https://www.awesomeminer.com/download.aspx to.

What do i do ? Do i need to fight the registry and manually delete everything ?  Cry

The Awesome Miner installer is based on the Windows Installer concept, where the uninstallation requires Windows to keep track of the installed software. In case Windows is unable to perform an upgrade or uninstallation, please use this tool from Microsoft to force the removal.

how to add new coins faster is this only possible with a update ?

One VERY critical feature awesome miner BADLY needs is a COMPLETE json file that constantly updates the coins, and adds new coins as they are released. Just my 2BTC

If they are not on whattomine, coincalculators or coinwarz, add them manually.

so even the paid version dont have a  complete json file ?  Cheesy
how to add all ethash coin manually  Huh
Awesome Miner uses the coin lists provided by WhatToMine and CoinCalculators. Some coins (mainly new or smaller coins) are not part of the main lists they provide and this requires to manually add the individual JSON URL's in Awesome Miner for this.

Although I would like to provide a service that provides all coins out of the box, I'm not the owner of this coin data and cannot redistribute it as I want.

Preferably, these statistics services would provide one or a few main listings that Awesome Miner could use to get all coins, but that's not yet available. For Coincalculators.io, that was available for a period of time, but was then removed based on their decisions. Please feel free to ask these statistics providers to not only provide all these single-coin API URL's, but also complete listing of all coins not in the main list. If it's made available, Awesome Miner can support it.

Hey Patrike,

@patrike any chance of a linux agent in the near future or a partnership with SMOS?
The work to make Remote Agent running on Linux has recently started, but it's not a small implementation task. Expect that it will be a number of months before the first version is ready because there are many other priorities as well.

Have you looked at Mono?
They say that it only requires minor changes to go from .NET to Mono, though, me not being a coder, I have no idea just how minor their "minor" is.

Take care,
&
Have fun!

Remote Agent on Linux will be based on Microsoft DotNet Core. Although a lot of code can be reused, there are still feature that are not yet available on Linux and there are also platform specifics to consider.

Patrike

Not the first time I notice that one coin is read from different calculators, and as a result leads to the fact that the profit varies ...
Also on coincalculators .io, the coin is displayed as (mzc), and the coinwarz .com is displayed as (maza)
Code:
http://images2.imagebam.com/7c/0d/a7/a0446e902270794.PNG
It might be that this coin recently changed their short name and one of these statistics providers didn't make the update yet. As soon as they report it correctly, it should automatically show up correctly as a single coin in Awesome Miner.

Hi Patrike,

I have a IBelink DSM6T based upon cgminer. I can connect to it fine using AM but it does not show 5s hash-rate, which results in calculated revenue to show up as 0. The Avg value shows up fine.

This is what API report shows:

Code:

Can you help with this? If possible, show revenue based upon Avg instead of 5s?

Note that the cgminer API is running on port 4029 instead of the default 4028.

Thanks.
Thanks for sharing the details. This one will be quite difficult to resolve in a good way from an Awesome Miner point of view. There are currently no concepts in Awesome Miner to consider the avg hashrates in all the profit and revenue calculations and designing a unique solution for this specific miner will just add complexity to Awesome Miner.

The preferred solution would be if they would fix the firmware on this ASIC miner to report the correct 5s value for the hashrate.

Awesome Miner version 5.2.2

- CastXMR 1.2.5 with Cryptonight-Fast support
- BMiner 9.0
- Correction to profit switcher for the scenario where Bminer is used and both Equihash and Ethereum is enabled
- Correction to hash rate unit adjustments for a few Dragonmint based ASIC miners
- Correction to Mining Dutch pool profit factor
- Minor corrections
2611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 22, 2018, 05:27:58 AM
How can I DOWNGRADE
I just upgraded to 5.2.1 BUT NOW have no temp readings on any of my Dragonmints! B52's & B29's
they also don't report the profit/day correctly anymore

They are aware, and said they will fix it.
There will very soon be a 5.2.2 release to correct this.

What's difficult with some specific Dragonmint and Innosilicon miners is that they provide very little information about what kind of miner it is. An Antminer is presenting itself as "Antminer L3" for example, making it very easy for Awesome Miner to know that for this specific miner, the ASIC is reporting the hashrate with a factor 1000 times too high and can adjust that.

There are a number of Antminers and a few Innosilicon miners that reports hashrate with other units than they say. This is also the reason why when you plugin a brand new Antminer model, it might show up with a hashrate 1000 times too high, or 1,000,000 times too high. It's simply because this is what the miner is reporting. Then Awesome Miner needs to detect the model and make the adjustments to show a hashrate that is correct.

Unfortunately there was a case in 5.2 where the detection of Innosilicon A9Z (that doesn't say anything in the response that indicates that it's this miner) that also matched with two Dragonmint miners. I've made a change for that in 5.2.2 - sorry for the inconvenience.

What is this "Equihash Zero" algo that has been added? I cannot find any info on it.
Hi,
The new EWBF Equihash miner supports Equihash Zero (also called Equihash 192,7)

The coin Zero (ZER) is based on this algorithm:

I have a Patrike question, it's not a request or suggestion.

In the help you say that to use Aftherburner server, in the rig you have to deactivate if you have the options to modify the Voltage. I have done that as indicated by the help.

I have the need to reduce the core voltage. That's not TPD, it's not the same, I really need to reduce the voltage a bit to make undervolt and control the temperatures of the 5 rigs inside the ventilated cabinet.

My question is. If I manually, I go to each rig and activate the voltage control and reduce the voltage a little. Is there any interference with aftherburner server or awesome ?. I guess when Awesome tells you to change TDP, CORE or MEM, it would not cause the voltage change. or if?

I suppose you can tell me before I waste my time. Thank you in advance for your response and patience.

In the end, I think that everything I ask and ask is useful information left in the forum for newcomers. I do not know if he believed me, but I read all the pages of this post.
Awesome Miner will send commands to MSI Afterburner to apply those settings you specified. It will not override any other settings you might have made in Afterburner, only those specifically you see in Awesome Miner. So I think it should be fine in this scenario.
2614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 22, 2018, 05:17:50 AM
Skunk is the only algo showing in the benchmark dialog with z-enemy enabled. Shows supported algos all enabled/default in the managed software settings.
This is similar to what Bob-Bit answered to another question, and it's related to that you need a pool for the benchmarking.

While ccminer can benchmark algorithms without a pool, in "offline" mode, that's not supported for Z-enemy. Instead you need to go to the Options dialog, Profit switching section and make sure you enable some pools so the benchmark feature have something to work with. Can you please check if this resolves you question? Thanks!
2615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners on: June 22, 2018, 05:14:26 AM
Hello patrike, your solution works perfectly. It is even simpler, you just have to make an extra profile for each rig, just for the Clock, and the Rig to follow an extra profile only with the HASH, and with this you mount the groups you select them in each rig and everything PERFECT .

I have also created a rule that if the total of all the cards does not exceed X of estimated daily benefits, it does autoswich and all the rigs change.

Thanks for thinking about the problem, for giving me a somewhat complex solution but a real solution, waiting for a better implementation.

Thank you very much for wasting your time explaining a real solution.
Thanks for the update. Great that you found a solution that is OK.

antminer z9 mini supported?
Awesome Miner supports all Antminers so far, as they are quite similar from a monitoring point of view. Antminer Z9 mini will be supported as well, but it cannot be confirmed until someone receive the first shipment and add it to Awesome Miner.

I just installed version 5.2, and now everytime it starts up, it crashes.  No warning.  Just "goes away".  Help!
Please upgrade to version 5.2.1. There was a specific scenario related to the profit switcher (mainly the one used for ASIC miners) in the recent 5.2 update, that could cause this issue. Sorry for any inconvenince.

You can also upgrade by downloading and running the latest installer from the web site:

3/ I reproduced the bug every time on coins that aren't mainly listed by coincalculators (additional url)

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OeY-NHGwS9b5Dt6Jh8-Ab9BlH9bym_Pg

how to reproduce :
- apply custom properties on a coin
- profit mine it
- uncheck custom props for this coin (it's not anymore profitable from the Coins tab)
=> mine : this coin always lauching with old props

3) I will try to reproduce this scenario. Is the final step that you simply start the miner again, and the values you see in the View Details dialog still indicates that the profit switching uses the custom properties of the coin - although it was unchecked?

Yes ! When i relaunch the miner, it uses custom properties but they are greyed in coin properties window (checkbox unchecked)
Only workaround found so far was to disable x16s in profit profile for a bunch of minutes/hours.
I've implemented a change for this. Can you please verify in the next release?

I just reviewed the entire API, since the knowledge for C # is null and I do not have time.

Through the api you can do many things as you indicate, but I can not capture the value of the currency that is being mined in a variable for the rig3 id = 16, and then apply that currency in the rest of the ID of the rigs.

You can not directly from the api that only gives the information, or active functions, another thing is to learn VBA in Excel to be able to make a small program, compile it to EXE and be able to execute it by a rule. Or even run the VBA from Excel. Because I suppose that is from VBA I could parse the result of the api, to take the value that interests me, put it in a variable and be able to use it, but I do not have that knowledge.

My knowledge does not give for more. I would appreciate help or option in rules or wherever to have that behavior.

It requires extensive knowledge to do these actions, knowledge that very few have, and that would take a long time to learn.

It is also difficult to find DEV to make small scripts, in the end it only remains to resort to the programmer.

If any DEV that reads me through the forum, offers to make me the small C # for a small amount of money, tell me by private.

I feel very frustrated.
I just had another idea how to approach this configuration - it may not be exactly what you are requesting, but maybe acceptable for the moment. I don't know how many miners you have in total, so if it's a large number this suggestion will be too complicated. Even if you the concept below isn't usable in your case, the information given below might be useful to others.

My understanding is that you have mining systems with different GPU's, so you also have different Profit Profiles for your miners. If they all had the same profit profile, this wouldn't be an issue. You do however need the different profiles due to clocking settings.

What if you make use of the Profile Groups (also defined in Options dialog, Profilt Profiles section)? All mining software setting and overclocking settings will only be taken from the first profit profile in the group. The profit information is however the sum of all profits from all the include Profit Profiles.

Let's say you have Miner#1 that you want all other miners to "follow". Miner#1 has the profit profile Profile#A, defining clocking settings and hashrates.

You also have Miner#2 with profit profile Profile#B, defining clocking settings and hashrates. What if you separate the clocking settings and the hashrates into two separate profiles? So you have Profile#B-Clock and Profile#B-Hash.

Let's assume you define a Profile Group called "Group#B-Individual". The Profile Group is defined like this:
- Profile#B-Clock (all clocking setting are defined, but the hashrates are configured as 0)
- Profile#B-Hash (all hashrates will be taken from this one)

Letting Miner#2 use "Group#B-Individual" instead of the original "Profile#B" (the profile that contained everything) shouldn't be any different. The total hashrate is only made up of what's in "Profile#B-Hash", as the other profile has zero hashrates.

So let's define another Profile Group where Miner#2 is configured to follow Miner#1. Lets define "Group#B-Follow#A" like this:
- Profile#B-Clock (all clocking setting are defined, but the hashrates are configured as 0)
- Profile#A  (all hashrates will be taken from this one)

The result by using "Group#B-Follow#A" is that Miner#2 will have it's own clocking settings, but all hashrates are taken from Profile#A that is also used by Miner#1. The result is that whatever Miner#1 is mining, Miner#2 should also be mining the same.

The bottom line is that when you set Miner#2 to use the Profile Group called "Group#B-Individual", it will follow the hashrates specific to this miner and may not mine the same as the other miners. When you change the Profile Group of Miner#2 to "Group#B-Follow#A", it will still have the same clocking settings as before, but all the defined algorithm hashrates will be identical to what you have in Profile#A, and the profit switcher will make sure that both Miner#1 and Miner#2 is working on the same pool.

If you have many miners that share the same Profit Profile, the profile change operation can be applied to many miners at once using rules with "Manual activation" and the action "Apply Profit Profile".
