Hello.
First, Love awesome miner. Have been using it for about a year.
But, i do have a little problem that is sticking it's head out.
Every now and then, a rig will stop. And in the notifications tab, it will say that the rig has stopped because of too many failed attempts to start.
Then it will give me the software and pool and algo it was trying to mine.
Thing is, The algo is not one the software can mine. it's not set to be used in the profit profile and should not even be being used for that algo....but it is and it's stopping the rig.
And it's not just one algo, it seems to be a few. but it mostly seams to be claymores dual Ethereum miner was the software when it fails.
Any ideas?

Hi, guys previous version was showing GPU temperatures, but as soon as I have updated to the last version, temperatures do not appear in miner list.

I noticed that the View Details dialog (when you right click on a miner) already have the correct properties for being displayed on the correct monitor. Is that specific dialog correctly displayed in you setup as well yes, the View "Details dialog" is displayed correctly, on the same monitor where the avesome is open. I hope until the last that the rest of the windows will someday behave as well I'm always open for suggestions about additional pools to have support for, and I do have a few requests for more pools since before as well. Here is an excellent pool, with three algorithms (sha256 / script / X11) with servers in different countries, with a lot of coins, a user-friendly interface, as well as with bonuses (Merged Mined), and excellent support (not advertising  ) https://www.multipool.us https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167635.0I will correct the dialog positioning in the next development release. Once available, please give it a try. I do see that multipool.us provides an API (last time I checked, I couldn't find it). antminer z9 mini supported?
Awesome Miner supports all Antminers so far, as they are quite similar from a monitoring point of view. Antminer Z9 mini will be supported as well, but it cannot be confirmed until someone receive the first shipment and add it to Awesome Miner. I added Z9 mini to Awesome Miner 5.1.3 and able to view detail successfully. After I "Configure API Access", it succeed and able to change Pool priority for Z9 mini. If the Z9 mini restart again, it will back to non API access and I have to "Configure API Access" again to make it work, seems like Z9 not able to retain the API access configuration after reboot. I keep getting this error mining Tensority/BTM using awesome miner with Bminer even after today's awesome update., but if i use Bminer without awesome miner it works I'm able to mine BTM with a 5 card NV rig.
I'm toptek my other account was hacked and i can't get it back .
Hi, For the moment, I think you need to define the pool url like "tensority://btm.91pool.com:9221". I will make that automatic in the next update, so it can take a standard pool URL and just make it work. |

Why Awesome Miner doesn't have a wide pool selection, provision of all mining software’s settings and overclocking?
Awesome Miner has a number of predefined pools (see Options dialog, Profit switching section), but there can of course be room for improvements. I think what is most important is that Awesome Miner support profit information from the most popular pools. For single coin pools it doesn't add as much value as having them predefined, as the coin statistics are taken from other sources. I'm always open for suggestions about additional pools to have support for, and I do have a few requests for more pools since before as well. It's correct that Awesome Miner doesn't include much out-of-the-box for GPU settings and overclocking. I suppose this is a matter of priorities as well, but I fully understand your point and these are of course also areas of improvements for future releases. |

Mining-Dutch provides multiple ports for each algorithm. Awesome Miner uses those with high diff by default, but you can go to Options dialog, Online Services to edit the Mining Dutch entries to use another port with lower difficulty. Please see their web site for details. thanks i edit port and its work , but when pc reboot and awesome miner open all port back to default . Good point, I see that now. Awesome Miner tries to restore the predefined settings here. I will have to look into that and see how to redesign that behavior. |

I searched but could not find a way to configure PhoenixMiner in AwesomeMiner to change the proto setting from its default. (I need to be able to change setting of proto from 2 to 3.)
If I use the command line parameters field, the AwesomeMiner program is unable to monitor the statistics of PhoenixMiner and the state of the GPU. (i.e. It says "Interface Offline")
The idea is that you can go to the Properties dialog for your pools, and go to the Claymore section (yes, Phoenix Miner shares the same concept, but I will rename this one) and add a property "PROTO" with value 3. However, when testing this concept I do see that it only works for overriding the proto-flag set by Awesome Miner for Nicehash and MPH. In the next version of Awesome Miner I will make a change so you can override this on any pool. |

I am trying to use awesome miner with Tensority Bminer 9
If I launch Bminer directly using the bat file all works fine. When I try to launch it using Awesome miner with the same pool same all I get a connection error. May you show me how to correctly cofigure awesome miner to work with bminer 9?

It looks like Awesome Miner currently replaces pool URL's starting with "tensority://" with "stratum://" when preparing Bminer. I will correct that in the next release, and Bminer should be initialized correctly with your tensority pool URL. |

PAtrike although I have been a few days without comment, just remember you please consider adding an option so that all rigs mine the same and make it easy.
The trick you told me almost always works, but if I want to change OC or Intensity, it's a tremendous mess.

I've had a look at alternative options to using the profile group concept, and there is no fast solution to that I just can go ahead and implement right away. It will have to be considered and prioritized among many of the other requests I get. For the profit profiles - isn't it just a single profile you have per GPU type, and only the single profile needs to be updated with new clocking settings in case you want to adjust the clocking settings? |

Ccminer and XmRig will be updated in the next release. CryptoDredge might be supported in the future if them make an API available for Awesome Miner to use. |

Awesome Miner is a great piece of software. The only thing is would add is your own server with crypto pricing and mining profits. The ones provided by third parties aren't trustworthy. They differ between themselves a lot.
Thanks for your nice feedback. For coin statistics, there are quite a number of new coins being introduced and also a number of forks and algorithm changes on top of that. I think there always will be some coin with incorrect number in the statistics - no matter who is maintaining this services. The best practice is probably to report any issues to those that provides these services. |

How can I troubleshoot the reason why upgrading the Remote Agent does not work on any of my rigs? I have to manually login to each system and run the installer. I never see any errors, just the old version starts back up. I have Windows Update service disabled (did not work enabled), but nothing seems to get it to work.

1) Is it always working if you manually launch the same MSI file that Awesome Miner is trying to run? %appdata%\AwesomeMinerService\AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi 2) Can you open the Start menu and enter "Services" to open the Windows Services configuration. Is the service called "IntelliBreeze Software Maintenance Service" running? 2) Yes, it is running. When I tell it to update it shows it is updating on the rig's screen. Then it just launches the previous version. It worked a few times since you released this feature, but it is rare for me now. 1) I have a AppData\Local\AwesomeMinerService and AppData\Roaming\AwesomeMinerService on the rigs. There is no AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi located in either directory. When you perform the upgrade operation, the file AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi should be downloaded to this folder (the Roaming folder): C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\AwesomeMinerService\ If the file doesn't show up - was it blocked by some security software? Can you open a File Explorer in this folder and look if the file is about to added and then removed? If you cannot figure out the scenario, please send me the Remote Agent log file by mail. Thanks! |

one question: when CryptoDredge integration? i know about api. in current it's ugly work with awersome (w/o any status and hashrate). but hashrate +10 - 15%. parse screen while api not released.... or may release universal capture interface? like this:

The first step is that they provide an API. Text parsing is not an official interface and the mining software can change the text output at any time and break everything. i can't integrated any other miners (who api not integrated to awersomeminer) ,but when i change miners version by hands i can change parsing string. its not big troube.big trouble - not possible integrated other miners. text parsing - universal method for unknown miners. and one more. where %string% with internal value for generic miners ? example: miner.exe -o %pool% -w %wallet% . bad .very bad support external miners. in right now i parsing string in external parser and cut wrong command for current miners. for example, i cut " -b 0.0.0.0:port" for miners ,who not support api.and other parameters look like ccminer. What I had a few requets about recently is to support "Command Line" compatibility for mining software, similar to the API compatibility defined in the Managed Software configuration (Options dialog, Managed Software). If I go ahead and implement support for "Command Line" compatible mining software, you could create your own user defined Managed Software where you set it to be "Command Line" compatible with Ccminer. Because it's not configured to be API compatible, Awesome Miner can simply ignore adding the "-b 0.0.0.0:port" parameters. With a concept like this, you should be able to launch your custom mining software without the API command line parameters and based on your description - it should work. I will try to get this feature implemented during the week. |

how to add new coins faster is this only possible with a update ?
One VERY critical feature awesome miner BADLY needs is a COMPLETE json file that constantly updates the coins, and adds new coins as they are released. Just my 2 BTCIf they are not on whattomine, coincalculators or coinwarz, add them manually. so even the paid version dont have a complete json file ?  how to add all ethash coin manually  Awesome Miner uses the coin lists provided by WhatToMine and CoinCalculators. Some coins (mainly new or smaller coins) are not part of the main lists they provide and this requires to manually add the individual JSON URL's in Awesome Miner for this. Although I would like to provide a service that provides all coins out of the box, I'm not the owner of this coin data and cannot redistribute it as I want. Preferably, these statistics services would provide one or a few main listings that Awesome Miner could use to get all coins, but that's not yet available. For Coincalculators.io, that was available for a period of time, but was then removed based on their decisions. Please feel free to ask these statistics providers to not only provide all these single-coin API URL's, but also complete listing of all coins not in the main list. Patrike, Feature request for Managed Miners. Add option to add a wallet address for each GPU that's set as a miner on it's own. Add option to select the ticker for the password for the wallet address / coin (Yiimp pools). Each GPU can then mine to a different wallet address on the pool. Example, 6 card system, each card mines a different algo, but I want to set one of those cards to mine to a different wallet address and not to the one that's set in Options > Profit Switching. For the configuration of wallet per GPU of a miner - that will not be supported as a miner in Awesome Miner currently represents a mining process and no mining software allows using different wallet settings per GPU. For this reason you will always end up having multiple managed miners if you want each individual GPU to have a unique wallet address. If you use Managed Profit Miners, you do have settings to override the global wallet settings per miner. |
