Any Instructions on how to use google Drive for auto download of miner software.  The link generated by drive is not.zip even though the file is.  @Patrike

I configured the shared link to auto download and it works but Awesome miner is not finding the miner.  Any info anyone please.

I just want this for all the miners that are not on git hub or should I say that are on mega.

Thanks
I don't have any real answer to this - maybe someone else have additional information.

In general, these download sites like Mega and probably Google Drive as well doesn't allow direct linking to their content by default. They require you to manually go into their web sites to download the files.

I have seen that there are direct download link generators out there for at least Mega, but I've not tried the concept myself. The purpose of those tools is that you enter a Mega URL and then it will give you a real URL where you can download the file right away.

I also would recommend to keep pointing out to the mining software developers that they should make their releases available on Github. It should be in their own interest that they make the software easily available for many users. The more users that demand this - the more likely it is to happen.

@Patrike can provide me with a URL for Gminer 1.18 that is already comptabile with RTX. Since the download is in MEGA, I can not use it as custom. I know you upload it to your own AWS CDN, if you can provide me with a valid URL to add it as custom I would appreciate it
Please use the following link for GMiner 1.18:

I got a report from @baf28 that Awesome Miner didn't display the number of accepted shares when mining, while the Gminer console window and the pool were both reporting that shares are being accepted.

It looks like that for the Equihash 150,5 algorithm, the API output from Gminer always indicates 0 accepted shares. It works fine for the other algorithms.

Hi

Bug

Awesome miner ver 6.0.11 and Gminer 1.17

The received shares accepted are not displayed in the Awesome miner window, and in the miner’s console window the shares are also displayed on the pool.

algo 150_5
Your observation is correct and it's only for Equihash 150,5 where it's missing the information. When I use the API Report button in Awesome Miner, the output from the Gminer API indicates the following - even if I see accepted shares in the Console window:
  "stratum": {
    "accepted_shares": 0,
    "rejected_shares": 0
  }

I will share these details in the Gminer thread as well - and give you the credits for finding it.

Any chance for add TT-Miner integration to your software?
I have this one on the todo-list but I've not yet had time to investigate it. If there is a real demand for it and it performs better than all other mining software it can be added.

Can we get support for Aeternity now that BMiner supports it.
Yes, there will be a new development version released soon. It will have BMiner 11.4 including CuckooCycle (Aeternity) and Equihash 150.5 (Beam) support.

I am using the Bminer on AwesomeMiner for Aeternity but it looks like there is no support for Rig Names or atleast its not working. Can we get this fixed.
If you use the Diagnostics button to verify the command line generated by Awesome Miner, is the rig name (the field "Add to Worker Name" defined in the Properties of your Managed Miner) missing here?

When I try with "SomeUniqueName" as for the setting "Add to worker name" it shows up correctly:
bminer.exe  -uri aeternity://MyWalletHere.SomeUniqueName:x@ae.f2pool.com:7898

Thanks for the update. Can you please try to manually download and run the installer to upgrade to the latest development version?
Main application: https://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMiner.msi
Remote Agent: https://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi

I signed up just for the purpose of testing AwesomeMiner for Beam but I can't run the benchmark tools.

So far it seems to be working averaging 60 - 62 H/s using 8 1070's.
I'm also keeping in mind that we're pretty limited on pools and exchanges for Beam at the moment so I think we can expect some wrinkles.
Great start and I appreciate your hard work and dedication.
Is it that Equihash 150,5 isn't listed as part of the benchmark or that the actual benchmark is failing?
The benchmark feature currently requires an algorithm to be made available for the profit switcher via the pools defined in the Options dialog, Profit Switching section - for example as a custom pool.

Hi,

I'm trying to update from 6.0.9 to 6.0.10 but it fails everytime.
Here is the log

Hi. Can you please try to reboot the system once? It's not too uncommon that pending Windows Updates are preventing MSI-based installers from running correctly.

Thx for support, I had a pending update, I rebooted twice but still the same issue, even with the 6.0.11 version.  Sad
Thanks for the update. Can you please try to manually download and run the installer to upgrade to the latest development version?

Hello @patrike another easy and useful suggestion.

I usually make measurements of how much a coin / pool yields. With which in the end I get a profit to vary in the currency pool in AM, I have from 0.80 to 1.30.

In the Miners tab, this is correctly reflected, the profit that shows is the one that estimates AM + my profit correction of the currency pool.

But in the Coins tab it does not reflect. If a two coins have a gain of 0.0020 but one has a profit of 0.80 and another of 1.10, it should show 0.0016 and the other 0.0022. In this way, by ordering the coins for profit, it will do so in a correct manner. Because in Coins it shows the profitability without modifying the profit stipulated by me. And sometimes it drives me crazy. Why does it change to this currency and not to this one? Sometimes it changes to the fourth most profitable currency instead of the third, and the reason is that it auto swicth if it is taken into account, but it is not shown in Coins. I hope it is understandable and that you see it logical, because for me it is.
You have a Profit Factor setting for both a Pool and a Coin. I assume you ask about the Profit Factor for the Pool (please correct me if I misunderstood your question)?

The setting for the Coin is used by both the Coins tab and the Miners tab.

The setting for the Pool is only used on the Miners tab, not the Coins tab. The reason is that you can have two pools for the same coin, and these two pools can have different Profit Factors. For that reason it's not possible to say that the coin has a certain profit factor as it will depend on which of these pools you are actually mining on.

I understand you but I do not share it. Suppose I have 2 groups for the same currency, something that would be very strange. With having in the pool configuration a box to mark, that is type.

Use this "profit" in coins, and do not mark it in the other group, the problem is already solved.

That it helps me to be getting the "profits" measured by hours of different currencies / pools, if then this is not reflected in Coins. In coins tells me how much I will get according to my hash, but that does not take into account my deviation from the "profit" 0.9 - 1.1 and even from 0.7 to 1.3 I work a lot. Then it does not make much sense to see the coins tab, because it does not take into account this information.

If I have several Pools for a coin, only one should be marked "use this profit in coins", I do not see it difficult.

Well, they are only suggestions in good faith.
I will have to think about this a bit more. Right now the Coins tab is only representing the coins and any profit factor on the coins. A coin is not linked to any pool - it's always the other way around and multiple pools can use the same coin.

Maybe there should be a new Pools tab in the future? That one could show information from a Pool point of view instead of Coins point of view.

need the "override config" like i can use at SRB also for JCE and other miners  Grin

I think this would make sense - to have a generic feature as well to be able to push any configuration file to any mining software. I will note your request. Thanks!

any possibility to add profitbotpro to statistic providers?
Yes. I was actually having a discussion with the author of this service about two weeks ago. Once I get a chance I will look into it in more detail and it's for sure a feature candidate.

PAtrike can give us an url with the new t-rex 9.1, I do not trust other sources, so I can add custom.

Bookmark this page:

https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases

That is the official release page. Right click the release you wish to use and copy the link address. Paste that into the custom field in Awesome Miner. That will be the link AM uses once it is updated.

You can do the same for Cryptodredge whenever they post a new release, at:

https://github.com/technobyl/CryptoDredge/releases

Don't forget to set the custom Folder name inside Zip-file for CryptoDredge as well.

Hope that helps,
...jim

That's correct. For the mining software that are released on the official Github pages, Awesome Miner is simply linking to these download links.

The new T-rex link to be used is the following for example:
https://github.com/trexminer/T-Rex/releases/download/0.9.1/t-rex-0.9.1-win-cuda10.0.zip

It's only in the scenarios where mining software are released on Mega and similar sources where direct linking isn't available I put it on the Awesome Miner cloud file store and point Awesome Miner in that direction.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 07, 2019, 10:38:39 AM
Can you add ENERGI(NRG) coin ?
Thankyou
Awesome Miner will automatically populate all coins from the sources like WhatToMine, CoinCalculators and CoinToMine. So as soon as this coin shows up with statistics on any of these sites, it will also be displayed in Awesome Miner.

Enegi coin is it on coincalculators page....
OK. So right now Awesome Miner doesn't have this algorithm predefined. I will add it to the next release.

If you manually add the algorithm "EnergiHash" in Awesome Miner, this coin will show up.
1958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 07, 2019, 10:34:15 AM
Awesome Miner version 6.0.10 (Development preview of 6.1)

 ASIC mining
  - Antminer S15 and DR5 supported for monitoring. Please note that these miners doesn't have SSH enabled making it impossible to use the feature to set Privileged API access.
 GPU mining
  - Awesome Miner can read and display the current power usage for both AMD and nVidia GPU's without any dependencies on mining software. Also used for the real time profit calculations and benchmarking.
  - GPU tab shows current power usage in the Performance column (previously called Speed).
  - GPU tab shows vendor name (Asus, MSI, EVGA, ...) for each GPU
  - Improved compatibility for reading nVidia GPU fan speed

 Features
  - Exchange filtering redesigned and can be configured both globally and per coin. Supported for CoinCalculators.io and CoinToMine
  - Note: Any previously specified exchange filter settings based on API string matching must be re-defined with the new filtering concept
  - Exchange volume filtering implemented for all coin statistics providers
  - The Coins tab will indicate the information that didn't pass the filter settings
  - Additional power usage and operating cost can be defined globally in the new Profitability section of the Options dialog. The values will affect the total power usage and profitability displayed on the dashboard and the total values in the miner column header.
  - Additional power usage and operating cost per miner can be defined in the Profit Profile. The values will reduce the profitability of a miner.
  - The Miner list shows power usage in the Performance column (previously called Speed).
  - New setting for power usage mode in the Options dialog, Profitability section. Configurable to use actual power usage (only for GPU, not ASIC), linear scaling or static values. Note: Linear power scaling is by default not used but can be enabled using this setting.

  - ZCoin block explorer for wallet balance
 API
  - Improved the HTTP API for coins with a new property to set the profit factor property
  - Improved the HTTP API for coins with a new property to set if the custom properties of a coin should be used
 User interface
  - The Coins & Profit section in the Options dialog has been split into two new sections - Profitability and Coins.
  - Coins with custom properties enabled will be highlighted in blue color on the Coins tab
  - Show up to 20 device temperatures in the Status column
  - Remove display of WU (Work Utility) for ASIC miners in the miner list as it's not relevant enough to display all the time. The value is still visible on the Summary tab.

 Mining software
  - Z-enemy Miner 1.28
  - T-Rex miner 0.8.9
  - Lolminer 0.6
  - NBMiner 12.2
  - Gminer Cuda Miner 1.14

ver 6.0.9
ccminer
GPU 1050ti not power cable

Awesome miner shows 99W
max consumption through PCIx16 75W
99W value is not correct
What Ccminer report here is probably what the nVidia driver is reporting. Is it constantly showing too high power usage or only once in a while? Have you used another tool like GPU-Z or similar to verify if you get the same readings there?

I do see your point about the PCI-E limitation at 75W here, but that's only a limitation according to the specification and not always enforced. AMD RX480 could consume over 100W via the PCI-E interface for example.

I see a different value from 50W to 99W algo x16rt
The GPU-3 does not show the consumption of watts on my 1050 without additional power.

P.S. I realized that the problem is in ccminer so you can no longer help me, thanks.
The GPU power readings from the nVidia drivers are often giving quite some variations so what Awesome Miner will be doing soon, when getting the power usage independent from the mining software, is to use multiple samples and try to smooth out the variations a bit. From one second to another, there can be large variations in power usage.

I will be interesting to see if there will be any difference with your 1050 once Awesome Miner will read the power usage instead.
I am ready to help you, I really like Awesom miner
To give an update on this topic - I've tested more with my nVidia 1050ti. It simply doesn't support getting the power usage.

I think Ccminer notice this as well and try to come up with a number that often is around 99W. Given that the card (at least my ASUS 1050ti) has a power limit of 95W it's not fully correct, but there are no perfect solution.

Awesome Miner will use a combination of the power limit and GPU utilization to estimate the power usage on these kind of GPU's that doesn't support power usage reporting. For the 1050ti the estimate will be around 93-94W when mining which is a bit higher than what I think it actually use, but it's an estimate better than showing 0W.

Almost all other GPU's support reporting power usage so this estimation will only be required in very few cases.
