I got one S17e for Nov shipment.

Although I like the price of the T17's, I'm trying to maximize TH for my home set-up, at the best efficiency, in the least number of units.

My physical set-up can handle 3 units in regards to power supply and heat exhaust.  To run any more than 3 units, I'd have to do more electrical work, adding a sub panel, etc... and getting exhaust ducts out is kind of a pain, so really dont want to do any more.

And I should be able to sell my current units on eBay for the same price I pay for a new one from Bitmain.
Once this arrives and I sell the pro-50, I'll look at swapping out the next unit.

The shipping company should be contacting you concerning that - both times I had to pay, I was contacted by DHL - both times were for about 300 worth of fees. The first one was on about 8k worth of miners and the second time was for one miner that was 1400.

the rest of the miners I bought were under 1k each and I paid no fees for those. yet...

still debating on whether to order another T17 for 1145, shipped will be about 1300 and with tariff it will be close to 1650. and for a unit that wont be here till December.

Thanks for the heads-up.

My email showed up overnight.
And, began refreshing the Bitmain page at 7am my time, and the S17e's came available again.

So I placed my first ever order with them, and completed my first ever payment for an item with btc.
Broke that cherry.

Now, my only remaining question is...... how do I handle the import/customs issue?  Ive never done that before, but have til Nov to figure it out.  I know I'll have to drop another $700 tariff fee. But what do I do from here for the customs part?
Any help/guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Missed the point again, it does not use the word "may", it does not even define "others", thats the whole point.  All its saying is that its a disclaimer, in other words, we've defined these, but just because we defined these doesnt mean these are the only ones you have. 

The few Traffic related offenses which are considered criminal, are called criminal offenses and are handled by the courts as criminal offenses, not traffic offenses. 

Thats why I used the words I did.

Definitions mean a lot in legal speak.

I cant speak for the other 49 states, but there's one that I'm quite familiar with.  In my state, Title 234 is the Rules of Criminal Procedure, and outlines how prosecutions and investigation are to be handled depending on the grading of the offense. Is a Summary traffic offense handled in the courts the same as a Felony Assault?  Nope.  
     At the Summary level, the local District Judge is the "finder of fact" and makes the ruling. The citing officer acts as prosecutor. The defendant can appeal the ruling to the State Court, but in that appeal, the Commonwealth Judge is the ultimate finder of fact.
   Misdemeanor and Felony graded offenses operate quite differently.

I get that you read the US Constitution.  I might also suggest you spend some time researching how the US Constitution integrates to individual state laws.

Your State Constitution, right in the first few lines, upholds the US. Constitution. In addition, if you have a proper Oath of Office on file, you promised in your OoO that you will uphold the US Constitution, as well. In the case of Louisiana that doesn't uphold the US Constitution, or any State that makes an amendment to their State constitution to remove the upholding of the US Constitution from their constitution... the Organic Acts of all States require that the States uphold the US Constitution to even be a State. (The Organic Act is the Act of the US Congress that authorizes a territory to become a State.)

This means that a person can always require a jury trial. The only way a person can be denied a jury trial is if he agrees to such. However, if he rescinds his signature off the agreement, he can still have a jury trial. The funny thing is that the jury trial isn't automatic. The accused must demand it.

Why would I want to read the US Constitution? Most of it has to do with the way they organize their operations in D.C.

The US Constitution absolutely is NOT the final law of the land. The US Constitution says so, itself, right in the parts that allow private contracting, and in the 9th Amendment:
Amendment IX

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

You quoted this 6th A regarding jury trial.  Look closer.... at the important words "CRIMINAL PROSECUTIONS". 

What if a traffic violation wasn't considered a "CRIMINAL" prosecution ?  There's your answer.

If you mean one of the 50 States in the USA or one of the US Territories, and you are not using some kind of play on words to mean something other than what the standard understanding of your words means, you are wrong.

Consider the 6th and 7th Amendments. Amendment 6:
Amendment VI

How much plainer can foundational law be? And this doesn't include all kinds of other things that can be done without relying on a jury.

Are you really talking without some kind of trick to it, or some kind of play on words? You know this stuff. If you are in the USA, you are supposed to take the Oath of Office that states that you will uphold the Constitution. And the Amendments are part of the Constitution.

Are you in some other country, other than the USA. Because if you are LEO in the USA, without an Oath of Office, you are placing yourself in danger from anyone who challenges you right to be an LEO.

From where I'm posting, police brutality and even alleged extrajudicial killings done by the same, could be considered alarming it reached the United Nations. With this, my logic tells me that if a government failed, and failed terribly, to professionalize the 170,000 men in uniform, could it become successful to instill discipline to millions of armed ordinary citizens should they allow people like me to own guns? With an annual budget of almost 2 billion USD, the government failed to instill responsible gun ownership to these people. How much more does this country need to practically educate every single ordinary citizen on responsible gun ownership?

The guns are not the problem. I have quite a few that haven't hurt anyone. The real issue is morality and the ever decreasing lack of it in today's society.

Little shits are not put in their place anymore and are given a timeout instead of a swift kick in the ass. The internet has exposed everyone to everything. No one respects fellow man anymore.

And its not going to get better.

The more reason why governments should make it even more difficult for people to have access to guns perhaps? I guess responsible gun owners like you are fairly outnumbered by these adventurous youngsters whose imaginary world they mistake as the real one.

It's not the governments job to educate the populace on safe firearms use. It's the parent's job. But as i mentioned with the declining changes in society, so declines the idea of family and raising a responsible child.

If you haven't thrown yourself into a position of accepting court decisions regarding your monthly payments, you can get off just about scott free. I mean, what's $5 a month?

Just because you never took part of a situation where you have seen the red flags, doesn't mean that others haven't. What generally happens is that the standard LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) asks for clarification when he runs into something like this that he doesn't understand. His superior officer goes up the chain of command asking for advice regarding what to do. It gets to a judge who has the red-flag info, or understands the interpretation of it, and he is the one who says, "hands off in this instance."

If there is an arrest made without clarification of a "red flag," it is ultimately dismissed in court once it has been made know that the accused knows what he is talking about. The LEO is never given clarification of what happened. He/she knows that something doesn't seem kosher, but he never figures it out.

Well, since you want to play with the court system, and you don't even know what that means, how do you expect to win in court with some kind of a frivolous accusation?

In court, a man has the right to face his accuser. Are you going to be my accuser on the indictment? If so, what harm or damage did I do to you since we agreed ahead of time to do this court thing? Show me the harm or damage, and prove that I did it.

But if the State is my accuser on the indictment, let him take the oath and get on the stand so I can cross examine him. Can the State take the oath and get on the stand? Isn't the State just paperwork? If someone else gets on the stand, I will be requiring that he prove that he is Mr. State of XXXXX. If he isn't and can't, perhaps he is perjuring himself.

So, why go through the trouble of doing your thing? My accuser won't get on the stand, or you will be in trouble for playing with the court system.

Thought i made it quite clear.   Pick your violation.... speeding, stop sign violation, drunk in public, etc...    you do it and I'll take the appropriate action.  Then pull your special list out when the case goes to court.
