2982  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Auction site that accepts Btc and money (paypal)? on: February 15, 2012, 04:15:04 PM
I'm looking for an auction site that I can use to accept Bitcoin or normal money via paypal.

The reason behind this is that I want to sell somethings. I want to get paid in BTC but if that is not possible I want to get paid via normal money.

I dont want to pay fees.

I think there is a Bitcoin auction site tho I can't remember the name?  Sorry maybe someone else can help?

it's http://bitmit.net/en/ , dunno if they accept paypal though only bitcoins
2983  Economy / Lending / Re: Help me so I can help you on: February 15, 2012, 12:54:07 PM
So now that op can't do a marajana seasteading he's going make millions as a web hosting limo driver that lives in a mansion.

I'm convinced that OP is related to logansyrce and Atlas and may even attend the same elementary school.
Why can't I do that?  Who would stop me?  Anyways, enough of the naysaying, might as well shut the fuck up if you can't contribute anything.  And this is my only account, but believe what you wish.

How old are you? Don't avoid the question, just answer please. And if you say anything else in this thread without answering, we will all know you're really 12.

he is young and full of potential, handle with care, btw i'm 27 and my potential hasn't vanished at all so right now i'm preparing a difficult exam and after that I could use some money to continue working on bitcoin projects and free energy experiments.
2984  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Real Story | What is considered manipulation? on: February 15, 2012, 12:47:08 AM

CryptoXchange, Intersango, bitstamp

Seriously?

Do you really consider those sites meaningful? I have jackoff sessions more important.

If mtgox fails, bitcoin fails.

2990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Magazine on: February 14, 2012, 01:46:28 PM
We've all just seen the "take everyone's money and disappear without telling anyone" thing go down here too many times, Matthew, that's all.  When you disappeared without making note of it on bitcointalk, and no one bothered to defend you until the last minute (except Phinnaeus, who no one knew if he was joking or not), it started freaking people out.  A quick note that you were going on vaca probably would have avoided all of it.
Hindsight is 20/20. Now that Mihai has the blog on the site up, crap like this won't happen anymore I suppose.
Does it tell us when you're sleeping? What if you have a prolonged stay in the restroom - will the blog be updated to prevent future panics?
Vicente told me I should get a streaming webcam for my study, but I have way too much sex in my house to let that happen.
So charge for access? I thought you were a man of business!  Huh

1 hour free with a 12 month subscription to the magazine!

lool, some seem real determined to see Matthew's balls on cam  Cheesy maybe he could make a video where he "professionally abuses" paxum's mascot just like the scene at the end of the Christmas Special

We need a Bitcoin 100 for Musicians.

If someone could setup a site that sells mp3s for bitcoin or just get an artist to accept bitcoins on their own site, that would be awesome.

fixed that for you  Cheesy

someone seems very determined to drive the community moral down with all this staged attacks.

gmaxwell: bulanula there is little evidence that anything is hacked.
majorminer: question
gmaxwell: s/little/none/ really.
gmaxwell: Someone could have made that user list by iterating https://btc-e.com/profile/1
majorminer: if btc goes to ..lets say 2$, which intern will drive the price of ltc up?
bulanula: ok
m3ta: there is only the evidence that it's easy to just scrape the fuck out of /profile/ and get a list of users. boo hoo. big deal.
bulanula: but still dodgy
gmaxwell: Whats still dodgy?
majorminer: anyone could clearify this for me?
bulanula: list of users no pass
gmaxwell: bulanula: anyone could generate that list trivally
m3ta: dude, even Facebook can be scraped to get usernames. so what?

Now I am famous !?

I wasn't even trying to drive the price down. I just sold a mobo for 62.5 BTC and now that same amount is worth a LOT less with the price decrease from 5.6 to 5.2 so ...

I just want to see what has happened. No market manipulation here. I really got screwed by the price going down. Cry

you can take it as a man ? keep the coins, they don't ask for maintenance, because I'm preparing to get some cheap coins if you don't Tongue

2998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitinstant- Paxum Temporarily Suspended on: February 14, 2012, 12:37:00 AM
Dudes, forget about all this shit. The important part is that banking institutions are afraid of what bitcoin will do to them and are acting pro actively even before governments take actio on it.

And you know why is it that banks/finance are taking action before governments? Because they are the ones that tell the govs' what to do. There's the proof.

This may sound like silly tinfoilhat stuff but it's not, it's reality  Angry

chill dude, we are the ones with the resources making the real money, they are only speculating with it. You slowly leave them aside by not using their services and, i tell you, that really hurts.
My only hope now is that TH guys will opensource their platform someday in the future, you will see exchanges pop all around you  Smiley

I apologize for my apparent lack of participation in this thread lately.  I did manage to get an additional 10 emailings out to charities from our other thread. Which btw, needs to be more obvious in this thread so we can discuss those there. Or is it all on the website now?  I have not had the time to go check it out. Either way, total emails sent out at this point is 16. I have received 0 responses thus far.

I will be a bit more unavailable for the near foreseeable future as my father has passed away. He left our reality this morning at 7:24 AM EST. He was only 51 years old and leaves behind 5 sons and 1 beautiful daughter and a loving wife as well as 7 brothers and sisters, his mother and father, many nieces and nephews and 4 grandchildren. He was a very open minded person, a wonderful father, provider and friend to many, many less fortunate people whose lives he touched very deeply. His presence here will be missed dearly!! I have been about 5 hours away from my home and office to be with my family during this time. I just returned home last evening and will be leaving again in the next day or so to help settle his affairs.  In the meantime my business affairs will be delayed....

-Derek

Sorry to hear about your lost, Derek. If I prayed, I would say an extra one for your dad. Perhaps somebody else here will be kind enough to do that for me, for your dad.

~Bruno~

No need to pray to offer condolences and well-wishes, Bruno. You definitely have mine, Derek.

sorry to hear that Derek, may he rest in peace
