Plenty republicans I've seen are on board with condemning Greene

Really, who? I've heard a lot of noise from the GOP about Liz Cheney but not much about Green... other than from Rob Portman I think, who realized he can't win the primary in fucking Ohio of all places. Maybe Romney said something too, he usually does, and he's not up for reelection for another 4 years so he can probably stay RINO for a little while until he needs to decide if he's a trumpling or... retiring LOL.

Steve Scalise was one. I think he might have even supported her opponent during the election. There were a few others, but Scalise was the most outspoken and ofc he’s the minority whip.

R’s are taking the approach of being silent because it’s bad publicity obviously. That being said, I hope republicans are all on board with kicking her ass to the curb when it’s time.

Plenty republicans I've seen are on board with condemning Greene but she captures the Trumpian flavor of conservatism (which I don't even consider real conservatism tbh). I'm confident she will go away soon, extremely bad look for Republicans, she's a liability.

I just found a new favorite congresswoman.  You go, girl!  It's about time there was one swing'n dick in the place to provide some balance against the ocean of dual citizen 'fellow whites' and their minions.  Amash is still fighting the good fight so it seems.

Is it because of the jewish space lasers? Just a guess.
2403  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is President of the United States of America on: February 01, 2021, 08:25:21 PM
Who's going to be the first congress person to be censured after the 2020 elections? Ilhan Omar was close over her blatant anti-semitism but dems couldnt fully commit. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is going to be my pick. She is an actual crazy person. Q anon believer and anti-semitic making the bold claim that the California wild fires were a result of the evil jews and their space laser. Apparently she thought Parkland was a false flag? Or maybe Sandy Hook?

Anyways, yeah -- she's actually crazy. Perhaps the first mentally unstable woman elected to congress.
2404  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you trust the co-vid19 vaccine ? on: January 31, 2021, 10:54:37 AM

Article links dailymail which said the autopsy report didn't conclude the vaccine had anything to do with her death. If it did, one would think the pathologist would be able to find a correlation.
2405  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A world without borders? on: January 31, 2021, 05:54:06 AM
For all the countries that attempt to secure their borders, it's always surprising that people don't look towards South Korea or Japan that is like 99 percent homogenous. Pretty sure Japan outright rejected Syrian refuges. For some odd reason, not much discussion about Japan being islamophobic.

Maybe having strong borders and allowing unskilled people into your economy is a bad idea?
2406  Other / Politics & Society / Re: People in government is against bitcoin on: January 31, 2021, 03:58:26 AM
politicians can accept donation in gold. politicians can spend gold for haircuts. this does not mean they are then going to make a gold standard/gold backed currency as the national fiat.

making bitcoin a national currency does not remove the faults of national currencies. it just brings the problems of national currencies into bitcoin

having bitcoin as a separate asset to hoard value in should remain as a separate option from fiat. then there is an escape.

we do not want or need bitcoin to be a 'one world currency'. but it will always remain a second exit away from fiat

My problem with national currency is brain dead printing of fiat which causes the inflation to skyrocket. You can’t do this with crypto. That being said, I don’t want fiat to disappear, I want it to exist along side of crypto. So if the government fucks up fiat through irresponsible spending, people can switch to crypto which might act as an incentive for governments to NOT light money on fire.
2407  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine, is it the end to the deadly corona virus? on: January 31, 2021, 02:12:10 AM
Johnson and Johnson released their COVID vaccine, and there was another company, Moderna maybe?

Apparently they only require one dose, so with the same production you could get the population vaccinated twice as fast.

Problem is only compliance. Black/hispanic community are not choosing to get vaccinated, some health care workers even. We have a demand problem, not supply.
2408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: People around the world cant go with covid restrictions on: January 31, 2021, 12:17:23 AM
Newsflash, the CDC Issues Order That Makes Not Wearing A Mask On Public Transportation A Federal Crime https://www.forbes.com/sites/tommybeer/2021/01/30/cdc-order-makes-not-wearing-a-mask-on-public-transportation-a-federal-crime/?sh=12e0ed3d16d4

There are also requirements on boarding planes like having to provide proof of a negative covid test result, etc.

Restrictions are getting tighter i suppose...

You can find video clips of karens trying to fuck with police over mask restrictions. The feds won't make a scene unless you do. They'll ask you politely to put on the mask and then tell you to piss off if you don't. If you refuse to leave the area, then they'll slam you to the ground and arrest you.
2409  Economy / Economics / Re: Florida bank says it has closed Trump's accounts on: January 30, 2021, 11:47:41 PM
Trump isn't going to be the last person these banks deplatform. I imagine we'll have companies that spring up just for conservative with how "tolerant" the left is -- or this just makes the case for decentralized currency even more appeasing.

Fortunately for Trump, a bank would beg to keep his money within their institution.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/01/28/elizabeth-warren-gamestop-robinhood-market-manipulation.html

Warren's take seems incorrect? I don't even think I get what she's trying to say. She's calling for SEC to investigate robin hood in regards to market manipulation, but is criticizing the SEC for allowing GME to fluctuate? This would mean you're taking the side of hedge funds oppose to ordinary investors who were the ones that caused GME to skyrocket. It's not market manipulation to collectively mass invest in a stock and drive demand up.

Can a liberal please explain what they'd like a Biden administration to do here? I would love for SEC to investigate if Robin hood colluded, but the stock market should not be regulated to stop people from jumping on the bandwagon. If people want to gamble their money, let them do it. Also confident not much will come out of an SEC investigation. Dems and R's tend to have a shitty record against financial institutional corruption so I'm not gonna pretend like Trump would do something if he was still in office. One can hope though...
2411  Economy / Economics / Re: after gamestop's short squeeze, reddit turns to doge. 600%+ today on: January 30, 2021, 04:58:09 AM
I don't like pump and dumps type schemes, this isn't a way to grow crypto. The short term gains stifle the growth long term when you have a bunch of autistic Reddit investors creating crypto as a meme. 1k doge was like 88 USD or something similar and fell back down coincidentally while BTC rose. Doge investors liquidating their BTC investments lol
2412  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus: How can YOU help? on: January 30, 2021, 01:24:32 AM
You can help by not double masking up, contrary to what Dr. Fauci has said! According to some health officials in Biden's own administration, double masking up means the air flow will float outside the gaps of the mask instead of floating through the cloth and capturing respiratory droplets. Once again, Fauci is spouting nonsense about masks as if they're actually going to stop this thing.
2413  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FREE SPEECH - Bitcointalk vs Twitter et al? Better? The same? Worse? on: January 29, 2021, 11:53:35 PM
I hope not. This forum does not need the degeneracy of banned twitter crowd. Think of it like as an influx of Alex Jones equivalents that would try to convince everyone that the lizards are gay. Then, imagine what it would be like, if god forbid, the socialist crowd moved in here. They would spread FUD about bitcoin as they infuse their shitty politics with BTC.
2414  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The cure for Covid-19 is right here. on: January 29, 2021, 06:45:23 AM
^^^ Lol. Cheesy

The NIH finally approves Ivermectin for Covid, and doctors around the world are using HCQ successfully for Covid, and franky1 still tries to explain how Ivermectin and HCQ can't work for Covid.

Gotta love you, franky1, Lol Cheesy.

Cool

EDIT: Say, franky1. Have you ever considered visiting with your shrink to see if he/she can cure you of your I-know Syndrome? Lol. Cheesy

Some bad news Badecker, Oklahoma is trying to return their 2 million dollar HCQ stock right now. Do you think they'll find an international buyer because they seem to be selling back to the producer at a loss. Doctors must not be finding it too helpful after all, no?

2415  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 28, 2021, 11:43:27 PM
...

WH has not commented on whether she will recuse herself from an investigation into Robinhood. Alleged reports from a whistleblower is that the CEO of Robinhood got a call from the WH before he halted GME trading. No surprise BTC price shot up, no institutional investor should trust a financial institution. Expect BTC to rise soon folks. This is the start.
2416  Economy / Economics / Re: The GameStop drama and what does it mean for Bitcoin on: January 28, 2021, 11:39:45 PM
Little bit of a crash for the robinhood traders, so sad! When you trust large financial institutions with all your money and expect them to play fairly, do they really have a leg to stand on when they get fucked over?

Not much sympathy here.
2417  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is President of the United States of America on: January 28, 2021, 09:32:26 PM
Wonder if Biden will do something about the Robinhood fiasco. Queue "good for bitcoin meme" but unironically. A stock bubble along with financial companies colluding to fuck over the little guys means more exposure for decentralization. Hopefully they recognize that stocks are meaningless if someone takes away the ability to freely trade them.

Edit - I should also say that some whistleblower alleged that the CEO of Robinhood got a call from the WH to halt buys of gamestop. But it might be a made up story.
2418  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will the Republicans of the future be? on: January 27, 2021, 08:35:41 AM
Ron DeSantis also is probably going to run. Nikki Haley too apparently. Ted Cruz is the favorite so naturally he'll be the target and iirc, Podesta's emails back in 2016 hinted that Hillary Clinton did not want to face up against Cruz in the general. Didn't really work out too well lol

I'd vote for Cruz in a heartbeat -- constitutional conservative, havard law grad, clerked for Antonin Scalia, doesn't post retarded tweets about his IQ.....so on.

So...uh, this is a thing now. Now that Joe Biden is elected, we have dogs in the White House, and it's all sunshine and rainbows. This very stable genius levels -- hit people's emotions that way no one will ever notice your policy record or ask you a tough question.
2420  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Republicans fracturing into 3 different factions on: January 26, 2021, 05:17:16 AM
I just realized that Trump is probably dangling the "patriot party" in front of Republican senators so they don't vote for impeachment lmao. One final fuck you to the Republican party that he helped destroy in his last couple months. Democrats should be thanking Trump!
