1281  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] The first physical Bitcoin coin(?) on: July 04, 2014, 02:05:01 AM
Is there any identifying marks, signatures, serial numbers.

Will he sign it, date it, anything of the sort.

Is this coin displayed (picture) anywhere else, etc etc?

I think people are nuts to sell the 10BTC for anything under 25BTC to be honest. They don't come up for sale very often, relatively few of them were ever made, and those that have them tend to hang onto them. I wouldn't sell mine for under 30BTC at current prices, and even if BTC went to $10k a coin these should still move for no less than 20BTC.

I totally agree with this. Check out https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=380142.0

Heh.  Yes, I absolutely agree too.  (link here for my 30BTC each coins)

20btc to start

I will offer 20.1BTC for all 4 coins.
I like you, so I'll give you the deal of a lifetime. 28BTC

That would be a great deal for you.  Sorry, to rich for me.

I see   16.25 + 2.05 + 2.05 + .12  == 20.47  (shipped)

That would be max for me.  (Unless I change my mind).

You know I can't do that.  The 1BTC silver/silver-gold rounds go for 2.5-3BTC, and I already declined 19BTC for the 10BTC silver-gold round.  You know that.  Smiley

I saw a 20btc offer from a relatively new person; however, there is no way of knowing 'what' he was offering on (package deal or single coin).  I did not see a 19btc offer prior to me, otherwise I wouldn't even have made an offer.

Good luck.  Smiley

I am interested.   Can't stay away from shiny objects.
Waiting on prices to outbid as I don't want to make offers (other than directly).

Heh.

Nope, but it appears to be in the mail system and coming from FAR away.  Gonna take some time.   I will post when it's here.  Smiley

1292  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver and copper coins- Goxxed For The Last Time a (commiserative) coin on: May 15, 2014, 05:00:51 PM
I didn't see pictures of the copper.

Are any of the coins stamped with content?
- Meaning, I didn't see the 1 Troy Oz - 9999   anything like that.  (picture of the back?)  (Diff between the plated and the pure?)

Slight interest in the gold strike as well.

Maybe adjust OP for price in dollar and/or btc?

I could read through again; however, on quick glance, I didn't see escrow options.

PS.  I like the idea.  Makes me wonder if I could sell my YubiKey for even a slight fraction for what I have in Gox.  Any interest?   Sad   (jk)
1293  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius 1BTC, 2011 Series 2 [Original, Loaded 1BTC] on: May 14, 2014, 08:03:31 PM
I bid 1.5 BTC plus 25DUNNECAP shares. (0.2 BTC value)

Just want to be clear with future bids.....
Is the OP taking mixed currencies into consideration for the payment?

It would be pointless for me to bid 1.55btc if the dunnecap consideration makes it 1.7btc of value
or.... I could bid 1.5btc + 100billion Michail shares + .1 ltc + 5doge, etc.

Just wanted to bring this up before it becomes and issue.   Keeping it clean.

Nice coins.

Prices?  Smiley

How long is this "auction"?

After the minimum price is met, I will close the auction if there is no new interest for a couple of days. So, I predict this 'auction' won't be long-lasting  Smiley

Well, if each new bid extends the auction by 2 days, I predict this could go on for a long time as I could wait 1.5 days to place a bid.
Possibly better to set an end date/time/time zone, etc.  Also determine who pays what kind of shipping and who pays escrow should it be decided?  For me, I don't require escrow as I wouldn't be paying first.  So, maybe change the time and terms a little to be more clear.  Smiley

I bid 1.475

I would be happy to accept the coin first before payment.  Or use a mutually accepted escrow.

Coin received and paid for.
Deal is complete.
1299  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2012 10 BTC Casascius Coin - Version 2 on: May 02, 2014, 05:43:54 PM
Ok, how to proceed?

But why own 2 solid silvers?

You plan on painting the B gold? Tongue

Why have just one when you can have two?  AMIRITE?
Sorry, didn't mean to outbid you on it.  (Ok, well, I couldn't help myself. <evil grin>)

Will update everyone when the deal completes.
1300  Economy / Auctions / Re: 100 BTC Gold Plated Bearer Bar on: May 02, 2014, 02:14:48 PM
... of which only 2 were ever made it is going to be a significant amount of money. ...

I wonder what that means for the people that have more than 1 in their posession. Smiley

I believe there was 143-145 made.
Over half of them have been opened / redeemed.   So, only about 70 left in existance (loaded)

That is a pretty picture you have there.  Very nice bar; however, the issue I see that others have not yet pointed out is that that bar has been redeemed.

Serial is:  1GCi6Cyz  --  Public address is:  1GCi6CyzGygkVTy2at1Q8sVf5B4UpuL1R6
The coins were redeemed on:  2013-06-24  (which would indicate nearly 2 months after that picture).

Would be interested in a picture of the bar YOU have.   Specifically because....
There are series 1 and series 2 bars.
There are about 18 series 1 bars left.
There are about 55 series 2 bars left.

So, if you have a series 1, it could be considered more valuable than series two.

I would be interested if you start an auction for it.
