I rarely see people say something isn't a ponzi; however, there is never a short of people claiming something is a ponzi.

the thing i'm a little afraid of there is that, at the moment only forum members can contact me.

if i open it up to non-forum members contacting me, i'll have to have all my scripts in place and as much automated as possible so that i can create accounts / do withdrawals with 1 click, etc.

Ok, give a "contact us" link AFTER the user logs in.  Smiley
This will only be a problem for the people who lost their password until the forum is back up.

This might be just a little more secure when requesting withdraws as well.  Smiley

if the forum is down, email admin @ payb.tc

Another idea would be a "contact us" button at bitcoinmax.com (next to the forum link?)  Smiley

"...your additional deposits can be as little as 0.00000001 if you like."

I know what my next deposit amount is.

Deposits are automatic. It's added to your ledger once there is a single confirm in the blockchain. He uses the Blockhain.info API to automatically update your balance.

Correct.  You don't automatically see it.  Need 1 confirm.  Then must log out and log back in to see it.
1406  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: July 17, 2012, 05:25:03 PM
Deposits are not automatic.
PayB.tc manually adds it to your account.
Good news is that he starts the interest from the time he gets the BTC.

Withdraws are also not automatic.

Interest payments are also not automatic.   That is, he must approve it, and then everyone is paid seemingly at the same time.

You can deposit as much as you want.  I believe you should only give him a head up if you are depositing over 10000BTC.  Probably not an issue for most of us.

You don't need to make a posting each time you make a deposit.  It would probably flood the Forum post.  I have generally just sent a PM, although that is not necessary either.  Remember, the deposit address he gives you is for you alone.  So, he will know it was from you.

having 1000 sitting idle in my wallet is not cool; at 6.9% per week, it only takes 2 hours and 26 minutes to burn through 1 btc  Shocked

You should pay yourself less.  Smiley
1410  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL SC Order Dates / Ship Dates on: July 12, 2012, 07:00:57 PM
Strange, but Ok.
My email from them shows my payment date is 6/27 (for the list then).
Thanks.
1411  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Mini-Rig Order Date/Ship Date on: July 12, 2012, 06:56:53 PM

That's a different thread.

1412  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Mini-Rig Order Date/Ship Date on: July 12, 2012, 05:37:57 PM

Maybe don't take it personal. I can't get them on the phone or get them to respond to email. A simple "It's all good jd" would be better than nothing.

Where are you in line for the MiniRig?
1413  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: July 12, 2012, 03:18:06 PM
okay i guess i should probably point it out to everyone else for the sake of security Cheesy

SSL has been installed and the link is now https://bitcoinmax.com

Issue I think should be resolved.

HTTP also works.   This should be a forced redirect to HTTPS.
1414  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL SC Order Dates / Ship Dates on: July 12, 2012, 06:11:00 AM
Submitted 6/23
Invoice 7/2
Paid 7/5
Payment confirmed 7/11
Order 1751
Trade in - Yes
1x SC minirig.
Michail1

I would suggest the order of the thread be changed to order number.  According to the email, you are not penalized by payment date.  They are shipping by order number.
1415  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Mini-Rig Order Date/Ship Date on: July 12, 2012, 05:44:01 AM
Can't wait.  Smiley

Is there ASIC waiting list posts?

Bitcoinmax.com is down - Maintenance?
1419  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] Your MoneyPak for my BTC on: July 11, 2012, 01:40:48 PM
My card was locked down because I loaded it 4 times in a week.   Considered unusual activity.

So, called them and they unlocked saying I need to withdraw by 7/19 as it will be cancelled.  I am never to have a GreenDot again (according to them).

They went on further to explain, 1 per day, 3 in a week.  Anything more sets flag to review/cancel card.  It didn't matter to them when I explained it was for payment of programming work on freelancer.
1420  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [BitcoinMax.com] Paying 6.9% per week... Small accounts welcome. on: July 07, 2012, 10:09:40 PM
just woke up from a marathon 10.5 hour sleep this weekend which apparently my body really needed. crashed out early last night like a little kid.
