121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero and its future. on: April 24, 2021, 05:06:04 PM
Hello internet people hope you all are well.

I was just wondering what do you guys/girls/other think of Monero and its future? Particularly do you believe it could be solved and privacy no longer by default. Or potentially somehow banned everywhere. Maybe new future means of payment or even much bigger and more used than it is now?

Curious to read what other people think of the coin. Its very biased always reading from pro and non pro monero people. Wanted to see what you all say.

Monero only Boss is as private and as small and fast transactions. That is it. No matter who developer will be they will develop it in this direction. this year 10 years from now 100 years from now. Having so simple Boss is extremely perfect fro a cryptocurrency to avoid arguments and splitting of community.

Nothing is banned everywhere. Even something so bad as nuclear weapons. How cant world leaders decide together to ban nuclear weapons if they know that nuclear weapons we have can destroy Earth 1000 times? There is no consensus so it will never be with banning Monero. I will be banned in one country but allowed in other. Naturally more oppressive countries will ban it and more libertarian will let it flourish. In such situation Monero will flourish everywhere.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 24, 2021, 04:44:28 PM
Agreed.  And one cool thing to remember is the Monero transactions are ORGANIC.  There is no bullshit being loaded onto the blockchain. No silly extra data.  The blockchain is being used for exactly what it was DESIGNED to be used for, and the growth even on a LOG chart is impressive.

Monero's transaction per day have been going up steadily now for TWO YEARS:

Yup transactions are again making a leg up. 5 straight days with over 25k transactions a day and 9 in last two weeks. Hopefully after weekend, next week will be the same.  Beside last 2 weeks when we had 9 days with over 25k transactions a day in the past was only 8 such days.

There was 7.5k XMR sell wall on Binance at 0.0075. It stopped the price growth for a while.  3k left now. I dont think it will last for very long.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: April 24, 2021, 04:24:28 PM
It seems India will lead 3rd wave. More then 345k infected only yesterday. Over 2 million infected in last 2 weeks. And the the peak is only expecting to happen. Next two months will be definitely extremely bad for India.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GAS fees on the ethereum network are slowly falling on: April 24, 2021, 03:34:32 PM
In recent days I have seen the price of GAS go down. which was above 100 is now starting to get closer to 50. This is very good for the future, what's more, the problem of the high cost of Ethereum transactions has been quite a while. The question is whether this will continue until the gas fees return to normal, or will there be an increase again as transactions become more intense on the ethereum network.

At least in Bitcoin when is weekend fees are lowest when is work days fees are high. Best time to make a transaction is Sunday. Worst day is Friday. I doubt with Eteherum things are much different. In general on long term Etehreum fees will only go up.

125  Economy / Speculation / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: April 24, 2021, 02:44:16 PM
I think we are still in a bullish season, dropping of bitcoin price is a correction or maybe many people sell thier bitcoin that's why it drops, that short dropping of price doesn't mean more to me, i experience year 2017 bullrun and correction is not new to us, so as long as bitcoin never go down below 30k$ i still believe that it will rise again up to 50k$ or more so we don't need to worry about it hold strong for big profit.

I'm not yet to call it bearish, but I'm also not sure that we're still in a bull market after breaking the $50,000 strong support.
Though there are still a lot of bullish news, but It seems like Bitcoin is down this week.
Let's see what kind of price action Bitcoin will show us next week.
If Btc goes below $30,000 then I might say that we're already approacing the bear market.

You will not know if we are in bear market once we will be close to the bottom. Bottom will be 80% down from ATH. So lets say bear market started now. Bottom would be at sub $15k. I dont believe we are in bear market. I will not know if I am right before Bitcoin gets over $65k or before half year pass.
126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now officially in Bear-Market: -20% down - Dropping like a Rock on: April 23, 2021, 05:25:14 PM
Now BTC is at $51k, its was up to $65k on some exchanges, $54k is -20%, so now we're at -25%
A sustained down of -20% is the legal definition of "Bear Market" get over it. Live with it. Sure HODL on or buy more, hell buy the falling knife, sell your house and car, and buy BTC on the way down,

In bitcoin a 25% drop is a legal definition of a correction. Corrections are super healthy. If they maybe damage your health that means you are over invested and you should sell a bit at any price.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create a coin like litecoin or dogecoin? on: April 23, 2021, 04:30:23 PM
How to create a coin like litecoin or dogecoin?

You cant Those times are long one. They were created in 2012 and 2013. At that time was created 10000 similar coins, Doge and Litecoin stood out. So even if you would create it back then you would have little chances to make t that big.  In 2016 there was bitcoin blckchain fork craze. Soon after BCH was created. There was 100 forks of bitccoin. Again only BCH was left important.  You need to find something new and again then be lucky to stand out since you will be copied very fast. If you do any premines you will be history in a second.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it supposed to be alt coin season after bitcoin falls? on: April 23, 2021, 03:42:48 PM
I hear everyone talking about how it's going to be alt coin season when bitcoin season is over. But how? Whenever bitcoin falls, for some whack reason alt coins follow suit.

Alt season is already going on from start of this year. Alt season usually last few weeks up to few months longer then bitcoin bull market.  It is expected to last for half more year. But who knows, bear market can start tomorrow.

We cannot tell when this season happen but it could start tomorrow or next following days but even if the market is now at unknown state still we should grab the opportunity if we can see some good movements especially with bitcoins. But if alts will start to move up after the bitcoin dumps well provably its good to accumulate the other top alts but also I will explore to the possibilities to grab some low cap tokens with good potential to see if I can get a profit with them.

What is unknown is what will happen tomorrow and in upcoming months. What happened in last half of year we know and that was a Bitcoin bull market and alt season.

From start of the year total marketcap of all coins went from $776 billion to $1.8 trillion. So it more then doubled. In same time price of Bitcoin increased about 10%.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 22, 2021, 07:46:41 PM
I know a lot of people don't consider Randle a star but the dude beasts everyone night in a nd night out on the court.

He is. He was brought to Knicks to be a star. But last season did not show as good games as he was expected. I guess he needed some time to acclimate. Also last season was short for the teams that was not able to qualify for the bubble. I see the biggest leap this season he made with assists he almost doubled his average from 3 to 6 per game. This shows that also his teammates play better.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the developments currently trending in crypto? on: April 22, 2021, 06:07:42 PM
Right now I see a lot of people who enter Crypto forums to be able to get profit through some cryptocurency.

On the streets people talk about Doge and NFT. Next month can be something totally different.  This is totally unimportant. What is important is what will be popular 10 years from now. Money. Money will be popular 10 years from now. Best use case for block chain is money. Find coin that is best money and buy and hold.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Is master card giving us the go ahead to keep buying coins on: April 22, 2021, 11:24:01 AM
Master card a basic credit card has promised to transact in crypto currency later this year. Although there weren't specific on which coin there going to list on their cards but we believe strongly a hand full of crypto currencies would be transacted using master card just the same way we do direct transactions from our traditional banking system.

You will not be able to transact any Bitcoin with help of Mastercard. They will let you buy imaginary Bitcoins on your master card account. You will not able to withdraw them or deposit. All you will be able to do is speculate about their value.

133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At $7.5 Dogecoin will be more valuable than BTC on: April 22, 2021, 10:51:45 AM
At $7.5 Dogecoin will be more valuable than BTC

But. what if Bitcoin price halve. Then Doge would need to cost less than $4 to make a flipping.

In real life this year I extremely rarely hear about Bitcoin. People talk about NFT and Doge. Flippering can definitely happen. Next months will be crucial.
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Is Crypto Black Day? on: April 21, 2021, 05:28:34 PM
As you you, no market can be bullish or bearish permanent. so when is the Crypto black day?

I am not really sure what are you asking. If you are asking of trends. There are long term, medium term and short term trends. If you are smart forget about short and medium term trends. Care about long term trends. Bitcoin have a cycle, that that last same as one halving so about 4 years.

Halving were so far:
28 November 2012
9 July 2016
11 May 2020
Expected 2024

So we are now in 3rd cycle or 4th if you count first one from beginning to Nov 2012. In each cycle you have Bull market, bear market and stability. Cycle start with bull market that last for about a year, followed by bear market that also last for about a year and is followed by stability that last fro about 2 years. This times can vary a lot, but is not really important if they come half year latter or earlier. Important is that they do happen.

Right now we are in bull market, that should end in about half year time. Then bar market will start.  But as I said, there are also medium term and short term trends. Being in long term bull market dont mean price will go up up and up. If that would be a case it could last only a month and done. Smiley
135  Economy / Economics / Re: The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin on: April 21, 2021, 04:11:24 PM
The Country Cryptocurrency vs Bitcoin

CBD or central bank coins will have opaque ledger. That will be their main selling point to the public. Bitcoin is permissionless. Everyone can use it and dont need anyone's approval for it. That will be biggest selling point for Bitcoin.  Reality is that this CBCs will come very late. If they would be out 5 years ago they could make some change. 5 years form now they will have much less impact.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 🛑 What is your prediction for the next Hottest crypto sector, or Coin 🛑 on: April 21, 2021, 03:51:48 PM
Leave the coin name or sector in comment and breif description or coin link so people can check it out.

Thanks.

As a the name says the true Cryptocurrencies. Where sender receiver and amount are encrypted, so there are no rich lists: https://localmonero.co/blocks/richlist    This is future of crypto and biggest use case of blockchain.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Erc20 tokens send fee on: April 21, 2021, 01:24:16 AM
I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I want to know if there is some way to send erc20 tokens with low fee.
Current gas fee is very high particularly if one has to send too many transactions. Please if someone know any other way to send erc20 tokens with less fee, share with me and I will appreciate it.

I dont transact much on Etehreum last years but for Bitcoin I know that fees gets higher toward end of week and lowers during weekend. So your best chance to pay lowest transaction fee is to make a transaction on Sunday.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 21, 2021, 12:21:21 AM
Wow!  The bus stop is ALREADY kinda looking busy!  Does this actually mean anything?  Slow blocks maybe?

Sometimes just takes a bit more between two blocks. It can take even 6 minutes and then can be few blocks one after another. But today Monero will reach new transactions ATH, so blockchain was never so busy as it is right now. Hopefully for first time over 30k transactions in a day.

I kinda can't wait to see the bus get a little bigger... wonder when that will happen?

This is tricky to answer since everything can be changed when triptych happen at next hard fork. We will have to wait some more time before all will be decided and cast predictions while considering actual numbers. I dont believe Monero could have such growth of transactions to get blocks full before the protocol upgrade will happen.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My warning for you all. Alt season will begin soon!!! on: April 20, 2021, 11:54:53 PM
The altcoin season has started a long time ago, maybe since the beginning of the year.

It is exactly from beginning of this year. Bitcoin domination was at almost 70% back then and now is almost 51%. Not sure why for some this is so hard to understand. alt coin season will last until Bitcoin will crash and few weeks to two months more. Then Bear market will start. 2022 and 2023 will be shitty years. Make sure to gather stocks.
People now are having some boost up and not to believe that bearish market would come anytime soon and you can even see that theyre predicting $1M without even realizing on what
are those words that had been said up by their mouth.Market dominance might not be a precise thing for you to rely when it comes on making decision but it isnt really that bad
if you do secure out things while you still can because we wont know on whats coming next and if we would really be experiencing another long years or bear market.
So better to save up yourself and get those profits while you can.

Bitcoin price will go up much more this year. But it is normal that it cant just go straight up. If it would then bull run would last only 2 month and price would be x100. It is also much more fun if it last a year or more.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 19, 2021, 10:58:00 PM
Guess they ran out of weak hands to shake out?

Price is way to volatile to bother with it Tongue  It changes 5% every half hour. Deep pockets are now trading Monero.

https://txstreet.com/v/xmr

Originally when there was idea for txstreet to add Monero I thought is silly since Monero blocks are never full, but now I see is educational and fun.
