I was answering your question specifically how I would feel about the situation. I also understand that others feel differently.
Maybe granting loans is different than trading physical items, which is what I was doing, and there would be less of a legitimate reason to hold collateral for a loan with a hidden alt. The transactions I acted as escrow for myself were transactions in which I had to disclose my IRL identity, or risk being forced to refund my buyer if something went wrong. One of the transactions involved me shipping something internationally, and I had to disclose my IRL identity on the customs form which is attached to the package. The other transaction involved me selling someone bitcoin via Western Union (it might have been a similar service), and if I didn't put my real name on the sending form (the information of which is available to the seller I believe), I would be unable to get a refund from Western Union if for some reason the buyer could not pick up the money. Self escrow for physical items doesn't seem any different to me, and certainly just as deceptive. The other party was expecting a neutral, third party to be involved incase there was a dispute that need mediation. You deceived them into a false sense of security. Both parties in question actually said at the time that they would have sent first to me if they had known they were dealing with QS. As I said above, the reason I did this was because I wanted to protect my IRL identity.
That excuse may have worked at first, but the continuation of all your sockpuppeting seems to suggest there's more to the story. The below definition of a "sockpuppet" from urban dictionary is very close to how I would describe "sockpuppeting: A false identity adopted by trolls and other malcontents to support their own postings. I have not used any alt account to support my own point of view, or my side in a dispute after the self escrow incident. I don't care what kind of deal Lauda had with Quickseller to pretend they're not the same person.
There was no deal with Lauda. I simply wanted to stop the fighting and bickering with Lauda (and other forum members), and wanted to move on. My presumption is that Lauda felt the same way.

And to deal those what you think spam is always click the report to moderator button and not to ruin their reputation!
If you are on this blacklist, I would suggest making many posts that are well thought out, over many weeks/months, and maybe your name will get removed, along with the neutral rating.

Most of the P&S regulars probably qualify, though the grand prize I think goes to BADecker, who has made over 250 posts since the beginning of the year, and about 5k posts last year, most if not all of which are conspiracy-theoretical nonsense. I agree that he is prolific and somewhat detached from reality, but his posts are very readable. I would say that 2 out of 3 makes him a runner-up, along with his arch flat-earth rival notbatman, who appears to have left in disgust almost a year ago. notbatman left after I gave arguments that he was unable to refute that the Earth is not flat. I am surprised that it took as long as it did for someone to make the points I made.

There have been several merit sources take extended breaks from the forum in recent months, resulting in the actual merit from merit sources decreasing. It may be a good time to do another recalculation of sMerit that each merit source has and consider adding additional sources. There are still many pending applicants in line before my application, Don't know how it works, does he choose them randomly or based on the user's merits distribution activities. But still hoping a reshuffling and addition of new applicants as soon as possible. My best guess is merit sources are chosen based on their merit distribution activities, and by how much theymos trusts the person. I am almost positive it is not random, and I would doubt it is in a first-come-first-serve order either.

I have noticed that Vod has a link to a website in his signature. This website has a number of blog posts that are talking about OgN. One of the blog posts says that OgNasty is referred to “Matt” throughout his blog. Another of the posts is titled along the lines of how “Matt” tried to have [Vod] killed. It previously only said “coming soon” with the address and phone number to the FBI field office in Phoenix, AZ. It now has a image of an alleged FB message that has a link to the Rip-off report article about Vod. The alleged message is from late 2019.
I don’t see how this would imply that anyone tried to have Vod killed. If anything, it would be a smear campaign.
This appears to be an attempt to get the FBI to investigate OgN, and probably amounts to something close to “Swatting”.
This happened over a year ago, and the correct course of action would be to call the police at the time. Otherwise, Vod should call the police today if someone tried to have him killed (I have seen no evidence of this). I don’t see why someone would wait a year to report something like this, and to report it on his own website. If there was real evidence to support this, it would be a major forum scandal.

You should seriously get professional help. You need it.
Thanks for the scamming advice - but I'm not interested. It is not scamming advice. It is advice that should improve your life and your mental health. I am sorry to say this in public, but there is clearly something wrong with your head, and you seriously need help. There is no reason to hold onto these petty disputes for this many years. This is probably why it's best to let him argue with himself and just wish him well. He might even believe the things he says, which makes his obsession all the more strange. I'd prefer to think of him as the original writer of NastyFiction and maybe we can get his tales published someday and sold to raise funds for him to get help. I think it is pretty sad that other legendary forum members, and other long time forum members are not joining me in calling for Vod to get help. I think people are afraid of getting attacked (and harassed) by Vod, and if only one or two people join me, they probably will. If enough people join me in calling for Vod to get help, he wont be able to attack everyone, and maybe he will seek out help.

Totally has lot a lot of supporters by the way that he acted.
Kind of... https://www.politico.com/news/2021/01/13/trump-approval-rating-poll-458602A new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll pegs Trump’s approval at just 34 percent, the lowest in four years of tracking opinions of the president’s job performance. Not that much off the ~40% he's usually at, is it? Three in four self-identified GOP voters still approve of the job Trump is doing as president — 75 percent — but that is down from 83 percent in the final POLITICO/Morning Consult poll of 2020, conducted in December. There you go. His base is still there and it's still holding the GOP hostage. This is basically a death sentence (hopefully not literally; just losing the primaries) for the political career of almost any GOP senator who considers voting to convict Trump in the impeachment trial. I would not trust the polling of approval ratings. The polls were far off in the 2020 election, and I have no reason to believe their accuracy has since improved. Trump is not going to be tried while he is in office, and if he remains banned on social media, his grip on his base is going to deteriorate. There are plenty of Republican Senators who will not have to win a primary for 4-6 years, by the time which Trump will long be forgotten.

Trump can still land humanity on Mars by the end of his first term too. Our "feud" will not extend past 2021 - there was too much work to give the community the holiday gift it deserved this I guess this turned out to be not true...

Do you not have anything better to do than troll threads involving disputes between Legendary members? I can say with certainty that Vod is in fact not a humble person.

So, if I were to give you a loan... And I were to hold your collateral, you don't think that would constitute bad intentions? Honestly, that is not something that would bother me, as long as all obligations to me are followed. It would bother me. Even if the intention was not to scam, and in the example above I would be jeopardizing the reputation of my main account if I were to scam, it's the deception that's troubling. One is left to question; why the deception? It wouldn't be wrong of me to insist on holding the collateral for a loan I granted. I'd like to believe that I'm trusted enough that most of my clients would feel comfortable with that situation. And if not, I'm not going to go out of my way to deceive them.
I was answering your question specifically how I would feel about the situation. I also understand that others feel differently. would this be considered a suspicious activity?
I don't know this person and haven't looked at his posts. Based on the large number of password changes alone, I think he has probably sold his account, or is planning on selling his account. In order to sell an account, you need to change the password a number of times, and the repeated password changes might be a way to cover this up when the account is actually sold. Unless you have knowledge of a password compromise, you generally do not need to change your password as long as it is sufficiently complex. Frequent password changes will lead to you using more simple passwords, and to forgetting your password more frequently.

And this is mostly speculation but I wasn't arround at the time: did QS escrow this deal because he didn't want his alt to become known? AKA the main reason to do this was to secure his account farming at the time? Or did he knowingly suggest himself as an escrow to mislead the other party in pretending they are different people?
I had stopped farming accounts earlier that year, and have not farmed accounts since then. The purpose was to protect my IRL identity. Panthers52 was originally intended to be farmed when I created it, however it turned into an account I used to chat. I never took any steps to increase trust positive trust ratings on accounts I sold, although I did receive one DT positive trust rating because I pointed out a scam.

It was supposed to explain that I did not have bad intentions. This was something that others did out in the open. So, if I were to give you a loan... And I were to hold your collateral, you don't think that would constitute bad intentions? What if I had taken every precaution to cause you to believe that you were dealing with two separate people? Come on, man! You know what you were doing was wrong, don't play that bad intentions shit. Honestly, that is not something that would bother me, as long as all obligations to me are followed. If I had reason to believe this had not been done to other people, I would privately warn you that your behavior is frowned upon by the community, and that it is ill advisable to continue that kind of behavior. I would not try to ruin your reputation over a single mistake. When tomatocage was caught escrowing for himself, he was laughed at by haploid23 for getting caught, and no one batted an eye. This included scammers who were tagged by tomatocage who had an incentive to bring up any dirty laundry that might result in getting their tags removed. You can say it is obvious to you that what I was doing was wrong, and that might be true. However I would honestly say I did not realize what I was doing was wrong at the time, and that is the truth. Tomatocage at the time was one of the most respected forum members, along with one of the most trusted. I don't think there is anyone comparable to TC today -- there are influential people, and people that receive a lot of merit, but these people in my view don't have the same type of standing that TC had.

I got the idea from another forum member who was in very good standing, and was well trusted at the time throughout the community -- I entered into a transaction with what turned out to be one of his sockpuppets, and he suggested that we use his 'main' account as a middle man. When I got caught, I lied about being banned in order to cover it up, which was wrong, is something I should not have done, and is something I regret doing. Who cares where you got the idea? Is that supposed to absolve you of shady dealings? I watched Ocean's 11 a few weeks ago, but I'm not plotting to rob a casino now. WTF, over? It was supposed to explain that I did not have bad intentions. This was something that others did out in the open. And I'll be honest, the first thing that came to mind when I read the above paragraph was: who is this guy that gave you this shitty idea, and why haven't you exposed him for the scammer that he is? It was tomatocage. He was also caught doing this, and no one seemed to care. He also left himself positive trust, which is something I have never done. The above, along with the experience I posted lead me to believe this was an accepted practice. I have since realized this is wrong.

You should have an admin verify the authenticity of you receiving a PM from me with that title. I got one too, are you saying you didn't send this pm? I said that I was mistaken.. It seems that I am mistaken. I received confirmation that the message was in fact delivered to Vod, according to Theymos.
My apologies.

There are no semantics games. I had addressed a PM to Vod and received an error message saying it was not sent to him because he had blocked PMs from me. Prior to making that post, I checked my outbox and confirmed that Vods name was not on the list of people that were BCCed on the message I sent.
So have you asked Theymos to verify it was sent to me? I can't really ask him since I see it. lol It seems that I am mistaken. I received confirmation that the message was in fact delivered to Vod, according to Theymos. My apologies.
