I guess you were not around when nullius was here.
I am well aware of nullius. Too bad the user did not continue.

~snip~
I don't see any problem. If newbies weren't allowed to post in this board, some of us probably will never know about few interesting thesis/research such as Breaking Mixing Services & Anonymous Atomic Swaps Using Homomorphic Hashing, even though usually i only understand the high level overview of the thesis/research Cheesy
My concern is about spamming and cheap approach of advertising. By the way, just checked those links above and seems like they are very different from OPs case. OP came here just to throw the URL in the post. Notice he is not even engaging in the conversation. It's pure spamming.

Yes, but as I mentioned  "for newbies who do not understand how the trust system works (It's quite complicated) that may cause some confusion"
Very true and this is exactly what I meant when I said opportunity.

It's not only newbies, we will find a lot of regular members who are not regular in meta, reputation board - they have less chances to understand how the flag voting system works.
6803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 23, 2019, 12:45:04 PM
There's a T20 series coming up between India and WI and I just checked the players list and noticed Gayle is not in the team. He said he would retire from ODIs after the WC but did he retire from T20 also?
We have a separate topic for T20 discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5102095.0 :-)

Back to the Gayle thing, I do not know any update available about his retirement but it's very much predictable that he will retire from ODIs if he can not perform well but for T20s - he is still non-replaceable I think and Gayle should carry on to it.
6804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 23, 2019, 12:40:56 PM
Singapore won their match against Qatar by 33 runs, Qatar just weren't able to put partnerships together while Singapore top order played well to set a decent sized target which I thought was always going to be hard for Qatar to chase down. Malaysia also won their match which was to be expected against Kuwait.
Singapore has made its win against Qatar on the world cup T20 qualifier. It is good to see both the teams having Indian players. The player of the match Surendran Chandramohan seems to be an Indian from his name. Same is with other players like Manpreet Singh of Singapore, Janak Prakash, Chetan Suryawanshi of Qatar.
Just wondering, are you guys watching these matches or just getting the scores? I personally would not bother to watch those low valued (I hope I do not offend anyone) matches :-)

When is the India vs West Indies T20 series is on? I do not know why, but I think West Indies will win this series LOL

If that service is actually legit, which i highly doubt in the first place-- it's totally useless.
There's no way 15 DT members are actually going to sell their integrity for 1.7$ per vote. And to think they hacked 15 dt members is laughable.

Either their votes are from useless accounts, or the service is fake. it won't matter nor impact the system either way.
It did not say any DT, it said "from senior members and above"

I saw a scammy service in telegram, offering opposition for flags. $25 for 15 oppose notes from senior members and above. I just wanted to mention that scammers can use that service.

So it's assumable these are not necessarily need to come from DTs. They can create accounts and can oppose the flags which are indeed useless if they do so LOL

Left a neg rating and created a flag.

Archived this topic.
Flag supported.

I wonder when these stupid ICOs will wake up that people now a days do not buy these cheap things. If someone can not afford to write their whitepaper then how are they going to manage a project LOL

LOL amazing service.

Honestly speaking, scammers will try to take very opportunity to earn money from scamming. It's us who need to understand how something works when we are intending to buy any service. We have seen the rumors of selling merits, trust feedback etc. So, let's put it this way - it's the continuation :-P
6808  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: July 22, 2019, 07:01:55 PM

I see a new icon next to the Watford's logo. I just can not identify the logo. Another new partnership?

This partnership with Watford is going to have massive impact for crypto too. The major currency for sportsbet.io is Bitcoin so it's obviously very good for Bitcoin.

Good luck Sportsbet and Watford.

These days newbies started to post in Development & Technical Discussion board too?
This kind of topic usually should be in the Altcoin Discussion board. Please someone report this topic for wrong board, I wish I could but I do not want to expose my email address to the moderators.
6810  Economy / Exchanges / Re: No withdrawal on Binance! Is Binance new HitBTC? on: July 22, 2019, 06:46:42 PM
I just logged in into my Binanace after seeing this and it seems everything is okay for me. Only few days ago I needed to do a trade and after that I withdraw it to my wallet without any hassle.

Did they do it very recently like today or yesterday?

Your currency on Binance are not your currency.
It's not only for Binance it's true for any exchange or service which do you give you access of the private key.
There is already a saying, "not your private key not your coin"

10 posts per week must be in the gambling section.
Does it include Gambling and Discussion section too?

The entire gambling board, except Games & Rounds.
That was quick :-)

Thanks bud

I expect the same tomorrow.
Earlier this morning I had a transaction of 1 sat/Byte was confirmed in less than 10 minutes then I made another transaction and that was again confirmed in less then 10 mins then again I made another transaction and this one is still unconfirmed LOL. Only few hours gone I think. However I know it will be confirmed sooner or later.

There is no point to spend 50x or 100x times for transaction fees if you are really not in hurry. One in a thousand time I end up using 20 sat/Byte :-P

6814  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to promote my crypto service on: July 22, 2019, 05:46:42 PM

He is not looking for this types of promotion. I have had talked with him. He is looking for direct promotion over other forums, reddits and social media. I have offered him signature promotion as well. He was not interested on this.
Oh, okay. Thanks

@royse : one small correction, it appears to me that you mixed up Kenyan and Zimbabwe players together.

LOL yes I did. Shame! :-)
Already made the correction and thanks for point it out.

^^^^ Their biggest upset victory was against West Indies in 1996, during the world cup. And back then, West Indies was one of the powerhouses. Steve Tikolo and Maurice Odumbe formed the backbone of the Kenyan team then. Thomas Odoyo played in that match as a 17-year old. After the retirement of Tikolo and Odumbe, the responsibility fell on his shoulders. Had he hailed from some test nation, then Thomas Odoyo would have become a cricketing legend.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CClBPX6oKTE

I hardly remember things from 1996 except some discrete memory of watching Sri Lanka was playing cool cricket. Ranatunga and his gang Sanath Jayasuriya, Aravinda de Silva, young vaas, Marvan Atapattu, Young Muttiah Muralitharan etc.

I just watched the highlight from the link and it was a low scoring match. WI were only able to manage 93 runs LOL

Have you guys ever tried searching "Messi Education"? Read the first line and get shocked  Grin

Quote from: Google search "Messi Education"
Messi studied in a primary school in Bangladesh. Lionel Messi went to Las Heras for elementary school. Messi was playing soccer at a very young age. Lionel did not attend college because his potential was identified by FC Barcelona
Really!

Just for Lolz

I remember this Kenya, see the highest run scorer from Indian side, Its Harbhajan singh  Grin not including Zimbabwe team, they knocked down some heavy weight in world cricket as well.

Kenya was a very promising team once. They had master batsmen like Morris Odumbe, Steve Tikolo, two brothers Andy Flower, Grand Flower, Heath Streak, Henry Olonga, Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell. These players were world class at that time. It was not easy to beat them always even though they used to be underdog every time.

Kenya just could not produce good cricketers like them anymore.
6818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the price of Bitcoin if Donald Trump can ban Bitcoin ? on: July 21, 2019, 07:02:17 PM
I think the prices will most definitely drop if Trump would ban bitcoin, simply due to the fear of people owning it. I have no doubts that majority of the Americans will sell, while the others will just hide their coins on their wallets and not use them for now.

P.S. Governments can't ban Bitcoin per se, just as they can't ban torrents, but they can definitely make the ownership of bitcoin illegal. Probably by giving penalties like jail time and such.
May be I will have another chance to buy some more Bitcoin. Those who are truly into Bitcoin they know that it's not going to die very soon in fact never.

OP: If Trump ban Bitcoin then it will be ban from USA, do you think people from the other countries care about it much. In fact they will take this chance and become more richer than Americans :-)
6819  Economy / Reputation / Re: Livecoin participants should be tag? on: July 21, 2019, 06:48:59 PM
After that, start tagging sportsbet and bitcasino too
LOL excuse please. This is coming from butthurt, isn't it?

Check the gambling section especially the cricket threads. I am a sportsbet and bitcasio customer and with them from ages. I never had any problem with them. And I am fairly a high stake gambler. I never got scammed by them, they never keep me hostage for anything. By the way, I am not a paid shill for them too. I am speaking my mind here.

Anyway, do you really realize that you are not making much sense in this entire post. If a company keep hostage their customers, threat them with the money they are holding for them then how are you going to trust them? How the hell you are going to promote them? What is your benefit to let more people to be the same victim of hostage by advertising them in your (main account) signature?

Oh yeah! I got it!
0.02BTC a week :-D
Shame buddy. You are not speaking for Livecoin or seeking fairness. You are speaking for your personal gain. Stop it!

I'm still waiting for a link to a valid unresolved Sportsbet scam accusation. I'm also still waiting for you to deposit your life savings into TradeSatoshi, since any scam exchange would have been taken down by authorities, and even though TradeSatoshi has clearly stolen people's money, they are not a scam because they are still online.
Too bad, isn't it but here take a review (kind of) above about sportsbet :-) I didn't want to but I had to, to prove a point.

Obviously Hhampuz thinks they're a scam and has done what he thinks is right.
Don't forget that same Hhampuz was defending for them at the beginning and wanted to correct them but they never cared so Hhampuz did that was meant to be done and I am with him.
