Bahamas Telecommunications Company
Generic BTC wikipedia page.
BTC activewear
Belgian development agency (BTC Huh)
Behavior Tech Computer .TW

There might be some clues for running a resilient front end at http://torrentfreak.com/pirate-bay-moves-to-the-cloud-becomes-raid-proof-121017/

Quote
...“If one cloud-provider cuts us off, goes offline or goes bankrupt, we can just buy new virtual servers from the next provider. Then we only have to upload the VM-images and reconfigure the load-balancer to get the site up and running again.” ...
The load balancer and transit-routers are still owned and operated by The Pirate Bay, which allows the site to hide the location of the cloud provider. It also helps to secure the privacy of the site’s users.

The hosting providers have no idea that they’re hosting The Pirate Bay, and even in the event they found out it would be impossible for them to gather data on the users.

“All communication with users goes through TPB’s load balancer, which is a disk-less server with all the configuration in RAM. The load balancer is not in the same country as the transit-router or the cloud servers,” The Pirate Bay told us.

“The communication between the load balancer and the virtual servers is encrypted. So even if a cloud provider found out they’re running TPB, they can’t look at the content of user traffic or user’s IP-addresses.” .........................................

Do you know of efforts made to expose how biased and irrelevant the election process has become ?
626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well know private torrent tracker TORRENTLEECH.ORG now accepts bitcoin on: October 18, 2012, 12:11:29 AM
Thats awesom BTC is becoming more mainstream.  I want to buy some porn with it, just because of the concept, and I never pay for porn.

On another not, I think the torrent protocol got too mainstream and is a target by the entertainment industries.  I hope someone comes up with a improved protocol, rather then private trackers.  (Demoniod got shut down)
You want yet another protocol ? Haven't you heard of magnet link and DHT ?

Good fapping.
627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well know private torrent tracker TORRENTLEECH.ORG now accepts bitcoin on: October 17, 2012, 05:58:51 PM

629  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama or Romney ? on: October 16, 2012, 05:28:11 AM
Debating Obama vs Romney is a waste of time, if not it's poor entertainment. I would have hoped peoples of this forum knew better.

630  Economy / Gambling / Re: I will play SatoshiDice for you on: October 15, 2012, 11:44:19 PM
Yes, if you like SD (or any clone) but don't have time to place bets yourself, I, Kais, will bet your coins there for you!

You decide everything-- the amount, the amount of time, and the percent chance that you want to play.

If you send 250 BTC to the easiest game (97.6563%) and win, it will give you one free bitcoin each time! That's a very good chance to win many times.
If you don't have that much, you can tell me any type of game/strategy you want.

I will play for you for up to one hour per day.
I will keep 25% of the profits made.
I will make as much anonymity as you like ( like send from a different address every time).
I will send you back your initial amount plus winnings, minus losses, transaction fees and my 25% fee at your specified time.
If you don't chose the Anonymity option you can watch and keep track of every transaction made on the block chain and the site itself. This will make sure that I don't cheat.

Would anybody be interested?

How is sending BTC to SD any harder than sending it to you ?

Random is a conspiracy. Wake up sheeple !
632  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 15, 2012, 07:40:10 PM
I didn't release the IPs because I can't trust evidence like, "This person stole from my site. Look at these records that my (hacked) site collected. Give me their IPs." If I accepted that kind of evidence, anyone could fabricate "records" and get forum user IPs from me.
...

GLBSE could also be defined as your site.
The chances that the hacker had modified the logs to accuse someone else visiting the forum instead of deleteing the log are extremely slim and anyway what is the worst case scenario to someone on the forum being falsely accused  ?

Look at what hapenned to Zhou Thong, with ~5 information linking him to the 5000btc hack.  ,,, Got away with it ! (didn't return a good part of it)

634  Other / Meta / Re: [Feature added] Color besides usernames for Ignored by % of established members. on: October 11, 2012, 08:07:14 PM
Ahahahha what a fucking pathetic community we have here - I'm supossed to fit your views else you'll ignore me? Ahahhaha
? We just said the very opposite.  I ignore people wasting my time, (for my own benefits).

Ps:  You fail.
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Thoughts on mid term gain Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: October 11, 2012, 05:42:35 AM
... The first fact is there are more services accepting LTC today than it use to be a couple of months ago. ...

Excuse my ignorance but what service accept LTC ?  Is there a directory somewhere ?  I saw a satoshibets clone and that's it.
636  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why I should get a scammer tag. on: October 11, 2012, 04:54:48 AM
This is why we will get a scammer tag because we cant possibly make the victims whole.
You'll be just fine then - Donald, Patrick and Amir are still scammer tag-free despite their victims not being made whole.

And it's not because is hasn't been asked numerous times.

I will not scammer-tag great people over something like this. Genjix et al. may have acquired legal responsibility for Bitcoinica's security, but they didn't purposefully lose the BTC, and I only blame them for not being more careful legally.
(Sorry for posting PM.)

Wishful thinking seems rampant.
637  Other / Meta / Re: [Feature added] Color besides usernames for Ignored by % of established members. on: October 10, 2012, 08:45:06 PM
I have not been scammed or dumb enough to get caught up in Bitcoinica, Pirate, or GLBSE to date.
...

In fact, smoothie, you even went so far as to insinuate that Pirate was actually just a market manipulator and discourage people from talking about it as a Ponzi or possible money-laundering operation. It's really hard for people to not ignore the Captain Hindsight opinions that are essentially being spammed on the forums today about GLBSE and pirate; you're all repeating the same thing, so you get ignored. ...
At first I though you posted in the wrong thread,,,

Please Raize, don't reply to ignored people,  Undecided

BTW Smoothie's ignores have little to do with his Pirate or GLBSE posts.
638  Other / Meta / Re: [Feature added] Color besides usernames for Ignored by % of established members. on: October 09, 2012, 11:50:29 PM
Oh I haven't realized Transisto actually payed to give me that award.  Grin

Will the list be updated regularly? If so I intend to get into the top three by more thought-provoking and insufferable threads.  Grin

Show-off. You're only one ignoramus darker than me.
I think it's a shame that people ignore you.  You often post controversial ideas but always with bold statement, a touch of poetry and humor.

(like Mattew,N.R. His post had some content into them.)

It's the idiots, attention whores and trolling type I can't stand and think deserve be ignored.

... You will be able to get back your bitcoin, and if you want to reveal your username, email, and a bitcoin address to accept payments with, you can continue your relationship with the issuer of any assets you hold....

What is there to understand ?  What has providing a bitcoin address anything to do with owning an asset ?
How are usernames and email proof of ownership while 2FA was enabled ?

It took him this long to announce something this inconsistent ?

Edit: oh and Transisto - your sig you made for that exact advert that you dislike, is now truncated, so you should be disbarred from the competition IMO Smiley
I'm following the contest rules, I really hope to win the Quad miner.
