Guys  trading is a mofo but can be fun.

Or just sit back and enjoy  the profits from zec mining.

5 1080 ti's

https://new.nicehash.com/miner/16yLHLoeyuCLPMXkVpC3gyrRYvwRGwjKJr

this is easy money.  no trades no hassles.

Phillip, im still minig SIGT, because the profits have been super stable for me, i am making more off the sellings daily than mining another coin... Sigt tends to fluctuate SOOOO SOOO much on 99% of the days, so since im averaging around 1500-1700 coins mined a day with my rigs, i have been selling them daily and setting a auto buy order for 10% of my sell price, i have a built up list of these buy back orders and im still getting my daily BTC payout, because im not holding the SIGT coins daily really, remember i sold them for BTC each day, then tied that BTC up for another buy in for a guaranteed 10% profit if it ever does buy back in, i have a few of these pop off throughout the week.... so im cashing out my SIGT i mined for BTC daily and probably making 10-30% off that balance in week if the movement dips low enough...

I am staking just over 200k in SIGT, but most of those coins were bought back at 50-90% of what i mined them at.. basically increasing daily payouts by %.... i tried this on ZEC and LBRY, just not enough movement to get more than 1-2% out of each trade... so i have been sticking to the SIGT coins for now..

If i ever need BTC, i just go cancel some of the older orders that i placed that have not fullfilled and im instantly liquid back into btc...

Whats up guys, ive been super busy with other stuff, not had a lot of time to deal with mining and such... been so nice to not have to touch my rigs for an entire week and just check on them every morning that they are all still up via Awesome Miner, such an amazing software to use once you figure out how to use it fully...

Anyways, Phillip... that CPU you bought doesnt need a double fan really AIO, my friend has a AMD 1800X w/ single fan 120mm AIO and his never exceed 52c...

Had a lot of new changes to my crypto stuff recently.. still testing the bot at super low btc trade limits, but been testing a GunBot for 6 days now, running 28 pairs and im up 19% on the BTC on that bot only Bittrex account. First 2 days it took a few bad trades due to settings being super aggressive out of the box, granted it was still positive overall, just it made like 200ish trades in 48hrs and was only up like 0.3% overall on my btc on the account.. so i adjusted them to more tighter settings after mapping each pair on coinigy and kinda getting an average drop below lower BB to target for... that had good odds of pulling a profit... now it only averages 1-5 trades a day on 28 pairs, but so far it has not made a bad trade with the lower gain target per trade, currently setup to only net 0.25% profit per trade after fees... but im limiting it to 55,000sat BTC per coin to trade right now...

Can someone share with me how Step Gain Works, preferably on the selling side...?

Right now i have BB buy/ Stepgain Sell

Sell Stepgain are 0.6/2/10

Also i think the Upper BB is broken or bugged on v3.3, no matter what you change the Upper BB to, the selling BB target does not adjust at all, its locked to the upper BB all the time as target BB Sell Price
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥[GUNBOT] Automatic Poloniex Profit Generator🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: August 23, 2017, 10:52:20 PM
Can someone explain to me how to properly setup the BB limits, i get the lower BB is more so on how aggressive you want it to buy, but what does the upper BB have to do with all of this, from my understanding is the profit is set based on the gain %...

So what are the pro and cons on setting the Upper BB to lets say 30 vs 60%, how does this change the bot?

Also, is there a way to ignore a previous purchase your holding so it will start trading again?

Example, i setup my first pair BTC-NEO today, within 5 minutes it bought in and its been holding it the entire day.. i see no way to get out on this purchase anytime soon because it bought near the upper BB... so i would like to be able to ignore this trade and move on from here...

I was reading  about the amd thread ripper 1920x    claims of 890h  for cryptonight mining

that is about 5 bucks a day using  220 watts  which is about 6 kwatts   60 cents

of course   a mobo + a 1920x + ram + cooler  = 1300

https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.3616058

https://semiaccurate.com/assets/uploads/2017/08/1950X-comp-1920X-1.png

Ya im seriously contemplating buying a new setup for my personal gaming rig using the Threadripper platform, There is a guy on Steemit who posted up the 1920x and 1950x cpu benchmarks, he claimed with some tweaking he managed $5.37/day earnings on the 1920x and $6.83/day on the 1950x... it seemed overclocking the memory played the biggest role in earnings compared to overclocking the actual core speed...

Basically $800 for the 1920x, roughly 148-150 days
Basically $1000 for the 1950x, roughly 146-148 days

Literally the same break even as most 1080ti's, and CPU is far easier to manage temperatures on and doesn't become obsolete nearly as fast as well should not just wear out like a GPU will....

Then there is the guy on hardware overclockers who installed 2 x Epyc 7401 on a Supermicro A+ H11DSi Motherboard, which is dual socket... giving him 48 cores and 96 threads and he is claiming cpu mining hashrates in the 3800h

Can this bot be used on Cryptopia? I am very interested in using this on Bittrex, but most of my trading has been on Cryptopia lately with SIGT coin.

Storx, thank for sharing the charts. Could you explain your trading strategy ? for example, when you buy SIGT, how much % more do you put the sell order ? or maybe you think another way ?

Because when I see the chart, I see it was a good day for someone who bought cheap => he went able to sell higher.
But as it is hard to guess growth and decrease before they happen, I would be glad to know how you work on it !

Another thing i have been doing also since i am looking into SIGT for longer term PoS earnings after 100k block, well was.. been debating changing my ideas on that and diving into another coin for long term.. is i have been doing some i guess you would call it reverse trading positions... since i hold so many coins between trading and mining... if i see the price hitting a new daily higher or sitting around a daily high... ill dump 25k at that high level and then place a buy order for 25k at a lower level based on thats day movement...

So lets say i log into coinigy and see it sitting around 0.000022 and the 24hr high is around that level... ill sell 25k and then place a buy order for 25k at maybe 0.00002 or 0.000018 depending on the last 24hrs movement range... basically taking profits upfront with mined and profit "free coins", then replenish them at a lower level.. making a profit in btc
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fifth alt coin thread last four got too big. on: August 20, 2017, 02:48:30 AM
At least that would make sense!

Sure would  have a custom in house bios for the company mining farm.

And restrict  the vega  so that it mines poorly for us.

This  allows it to sell mostly to gamers. = good sales for them

Second  self mine at a big discount  since they built the gear. =  this gives them  mining sales/profit  and prevents normal miner from buying all the gear out.

Based on the ceo's statements  it could be their plan  from now till early spring.

This would be a good thing if you are loaded up on 1080ti's

which coin are your 1080ti mining? what's the $ profits per day per  card?

I use Awesome Miner, I have it setup to profit switch every 5 minutes between SIGT, ZEC, and ZEN at the moment. I have ZEN and ZEC setup on bittrex to auto transfer as soon as im payed from a block and autosell on bittrex, SIGT i have been holding onto, its been my hot trading coin.. been following it super close to ride the drama train waves.. with the 3 coins being used for profit switching, im averaging $3.37/per 1080ti card for last 7 days on mining

Yeah the 3.37 a card is close to me.

I am 14 x 1080 ti zec
I am 3 x 1080 ti skunk

9 are zec at suprnova then bittrex hold
3 are skunk zpool auto btc convert
5 are zec nicehash auto btc convert

I never never never auto profit switch as it ruins the hot coins since other miners all switch to a hot coin.
I understand why people like the software but they flatten the price of coins

I mainly profit switch currently because difficulty varies so much during the day on SIGT, especially with Zpool on it.. so during period the profit is less profitable on that coin i have it do the 2 trusty coins that always payout around $3/gpu... i find at night the nethash on SIGT rises way to much from miners jumping on that coin or possibly turning up their gear due to less heat issues causing the coin to be harder to mine... so with the profit switching setup, i find during the day SIGT is mainly mined, but during night time hours i find i am mining ZEC and ZEN more.. idk why that pattern is occuring..

I am by far no pro at trading, i am just trading sigt mainly because it has such large swings in the coin and due to my btc account amount, i can afford the smaller trades it can support, if i was a larger trader i couldn't trade SIGT, because there is just not enough volume to support large btc orders...

The reasoning behind the above chart moves is i was predicting the coin to increase in value, because it hit a few more semi-major exchanges on the market and nicehash un-suspended the rental side of it from all the drama causing them to place it on suspension. So i figured with the 2 events, the coin should increase in value some, so i spaced out my sells to ride the wave up, starting with levels that the coin typically hit multiple times... then based on the percentage of gain i would take the difference and view it as free coins and price them either at 50% profit level or 100% depending on the situation...

So crude example...

Lets say i buy in at 100,000 sigt @ 0.00001

I know from past trades at a buyin at that level its not hard for me to get 50% increase in profit as long as im patient enough, so i split up the sells so i am still holding coins if i see a breakout action about to occur...
So i since im looking for 50% move, i would take half the coins 50,000 and put 25k of those on a sell @ 0.00002, then i would split the other 25k putting 12.5k @ 0.000019 and 12.5k @ 0.000021.... then i view the last 50k coins as free coins at that point, so typically i just set them at a much higher profit level like 0.00003 or 0.00004....

Then throughout the day i buy small positions like 5k or 10k coins at a time and do small 50 or 100pt movements if im seeing a lot of small movements in the coin using my mined coins
So if i see a lot of movement lets says between 1550 and 1650, ill sell like 10k coins at 1650, then place another order at 1550 for 10k to replenish those coins.

To date, i have probably moved like 600-700k of coins, i only have 1 single order that i have yet to turn into positive profit.. that order still sits waiting for a out position, sometimes i have orders that i cant sell right away, so i have to sit on them for a week or a few days before they sell.. but that one order is for 3500 coins i bought in @0.000035, all other coins trades i have eventually made a profit on.

Patrike,

Can you take a look at the Profit Switching interval, i have been mining directly for a few weeks due to SIGT hotness, but wanted to go back to profit switching and set it up lastnight on a few coins, it seemed to always switch every 30 minutes no matter if i had it set to 5 minutes or 30 minutes...

Also can you adjust this to allow switching down to 1 minute intervals please.
It should be possible to set it to 1 minute. Can you please send me the log file and indicate at what time you expected another behavior than what Awesome Miner did?

Like, do you want me to start profit switching and then note a period it should have switched, but didnt and state which algo?

Also im not sure if this is a graphical glitch, i noticed when i clicked the down arrows it stopped at 5 minutes, but i just tried manually entering 1 minute and it seems to have accepted it... If i move back over 5 minutes and click the arrows down, it goes down as far as 5 minutes, then stops at 5...

@patrike is there a way to add another pool to profit switch list?

I wanted to add prohashing.com to managed profit switching list but unable to do so... only zpool and nicehash is there

Yes. In Options dialog, Profit switching section, you can add a custom pool. This can either be a single pool you have defined, or a pool group if you want to add many. You need to define this pool yourself first (Options dialog, Pools section).

I have done that, but where to add API for that pool to ensure it utilizes profitability just like zpool and nicehash does.

Patrike may be able to correct me if im wrong, but from my understanding and experience it seems that profit switching is not based on the api settings under online services list, it seems to profit switch based on the "coin" tab list... which is not dependent on any specific pool, it uses a calculation between your hashrate and the exchange rate price and difficulty to determine the profitability list. So having multiples of the same coin on different pools may be pointless...

I have used the profit switching part of the AM very little and when i did it seemed to switch based on which is list # 1 coin under coin tab regardless whats listed on online services....

Also, if your a trader... SIGT has been extremely profitable in small quantity of btc, managed to squeeze out some good profits out of all the drama...

great info ... Storx

If it goes to Bitrex... I will swing the farm back to SIGT with latest tpruvot v2.2 fork

There is this "AUTO-SELL" function in Bitrex that I cant live without.

Check it out under "Lab"

I have been using this feature when i mine zec on suprnova, because there is no transfer fee and only 1% mining fee... so i set it to transfer at the min of 0.001, so literally every payment from each block found is instantly sent to bittrex and auto-selled... did the calculations, based on the 24/hr numbers on zpool... im averaging right around 13% higher than if i was to mine it on zpool and receive the btc through him.

t1d81R73LY4tX9y1VskH6gJELH3PfCvGwz5
this looks good.  I may test it.

Okay  I set my withdraw for 0.013 zec  as 0.013  may work  better  then 0.001  and I am mining a card at suprnova.cc

You will find that the pool will disable the 1% pool fee on occasions... i have not been able to pin down how they schedule this.. but i have never seen the transaction fee be added back

How about the commission on bittrex?  Does that eat into the margin you're quoting?

I like the concept for these lower tier coins, though!

Well because your not making orders outside the asking price, you pay the lower 0.20% fee on the trades which is a very small price to pay for transfering it to btc, also it seems to do pretty good at selling shares for more than asking especially when the market is on a positive swing, i find when its trending downwards the sell prices are heavier below asking just slightly...

Here was the last 8 trades through auto-sell

Nicehash changed their reporting from GH/s to TH/s on a few algorithms, and zpool just did the same for some of them as well.
There will be a new development release within a day to adjust according to these changes.

Ah, ok... just wish they would stick to a standard.. really annoying.. Noticed Whattomine added skunkhash to the main page now
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Fifth alt coin thread last four got too big. on: August 17, 2017, 06:35:56 AM
Well i moved all back over to SIGT tonight, i noticed that Nicehash placed it back on their site for mining (i think you could still mine it), but the rental side was disabled for a day and half.. now its back up and running...
They also got added to novaexchange and few others today, so it seems the drama of the dev turned out to be someone "Claiming" he was a dev on the team, which was more of a PR guy... and the actual real team as dumped him now, because he was doing some shady side deals or something.. idk the full story yet, the actual devs have not released any official news that i know of, all i know is crowstech was banned from the official telegraph group. Also there was new news today about bittrex moving on with the possability of adding them, just unsure when... which is all greatful news, because i was looking for an out on my coins... have just over 220k in stake with about 100k of that bought around 1715sat as my highest buyin...

Just a little word of advice on the new TPruvot 2.2 miner, it seems that it attempts to force very high intensity on the gpu/cpu's, thus causing a lot of instability, but i found if you keep scaling back adding the intensity manually you can find the point at which your hashrates actually start dipping, like i was able to reduce my intensity nearly 3/4's of a point before hashrates made any real changes, so i was able to gain stability from this greatly on my rigs. This new miner bumped my average up to the range of 51.73 to 55.10MH/s per card @ 70tdp on all gpu's, with most hanging around the 52Mh/s mark
