61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH & LTC? on: October 04, 2017, 02:57:05 PM
as other users have said, it would be perhaps wise to diversify and buy a little of both of them. ETH has the projection to be a competitor of BTC, their developers intend it to be that. LTC seems to be more like "silver" to bitcoin with not so much innovation.

62  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Block/remove coinhive minning script from faucet sites. on: October 03, 2017, 12:42:11 PM
Probably everyone will be blocking coinhive in a few days. Which is rather sad... for webmasters it is very hard to monetize on one hand, and on the other hand there are lots of webmasters who abuse this kind of monetization.

63  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: October 02, 2017, 06:02:01 AM
It seems BTC is recovering quite well, and probably will continue to do so if there is no bad news happening for a while. 5000$ is possible, i am expecting it at least.
64  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: discussions on: October 02, 2017, 05:51:18 AM
Although there might be several legit ones, the high numbers of ICOs now make me think they are the new HYIP where lots of revenues are offered if you invest your money. You need quite a lot of research to get to the good ones, and even that does not seem a guarantee really in my view. I prefer to stay away from them at this point.
65  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN = 5000$ THIS 2017? on: September 30, 2017, 08:07:44 PM
Yes, it can reach the 5000 if all goes well with the possible fork in november. Everytime a difficulty is left behind it goes up, and we are not too far from those 5000 either.
66  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When should we buy and sell? on: September 30, 2017, 08:05:51 PM
it is very hard to tell really... But I would say that sometimes when it has been going down for a while, and then stops around a price for several days, it is more likely to go up than when it is only moving down.

Same when it is high... it is has been rising for some time and then stops for several days (as it happened around the 4700-4900 recently) it is more likely to go down.

67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you consider yourself as experienced traders? on: September 30, 2017, 07:59:49 PM
Well have some experience, but not that much. I would not consider myself experienced, although you learn things almost everyday: patience, the crazyness of the market, etc.
68  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Can browser mining systems replace faucets on: September 29, 2017, 08:19:31 PM
I tried one of those minings today... 8 satoshi in about 45 minutes lol.... and that is without deducting the amount spent on electricity. Really a waste of time.

Not worth it at all. Fauceting is still more profitable.
69  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prognosis on: September 29, 2017, 10:54:50 AM
I do not think that can happen in the near future without further negative news (i.e: China banning Bitcoin totally). I am even very optimist that the price maintained over 3000 in all this situation.
70  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: September 29, 2017, 10:26:21 AM
Well you are asking "how do you deal" so here it is (even though is probably not the best method)

I deal mostly in two ways:

1) Buying more of the depreciated altcoin so it doesn't have to go so high for me to end with a profit, or at least I do not lose too much

2) Selling the altcoins (even at loss) and trying to buy them lower. I usually do that at a minimum (selling and trying to rebuy at 1-2% less or so)

Sometimes this methods have gone good for me, sometimes bad.

71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin growth again, what to do? on: September 29, 2017, 10:17:40 AM
For me, the right thing to do is something that you won't regret (or you won't regret too much) if things happen contrary what you would expect.

For example. You expect Bitcoin to raise, and are considering to buy. Would you regret too much buying them, even if they went down?

It is easy to see "you should have bought before", but "before" they could have gone lower. None can tell the future.
72  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is about to crush major resistance points (very bullish) on: September 28, 2017, 10:18:41 PM
Woot I really expect that you are right. One will expect bitcoin to get as high as that, but the possibility that it happens this week is just too much.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1337 [MANDATORY UPDATE] 41.78% APR| POS ONLY on: September 28, 2017, 09:39:34 AM
Hi all. Just started fresh with this coin yesterday, download the snapshot and last wallet and synced... but It only gets 1-2 connections and sees to be hard to sync. Any nodes or help with that? Thanks!
74  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is PayPal now feeling the pressure from Bitcoin? on: September 27, 2017, 09:43:46 AM
Paypal has an edge. It is more widely known and used than Bitcoin right now, and if BTC gains popularity, paypal could include it as a currency (just as it includes currencies from several parts of the world). It does not have to dissappear with bitcoin really, but to evolve.
75  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading bots do you use? on: September 27, 2017, 09:39:29 AM
I think mostly bots need a strategy to function. It is that strategy that makes them profitable or not, so you need a good trading mind behind the bot to be profitable, and that is not easy.

However, the bot allows you to play strategies you just cannot play without the bot. For example, you can set a bot to buy and sell at the minimum profit and repeat hundred of times with a stable coin (that only goes up and down in a small %). That would not be possible with manual trading.
76  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: September 27, 2017, 09:34:47 AM
Hacking is not easy, but even if they achieved it, Bitcoin is distributed among many nodes and will be hard to "convince" those nodes of the hack.

To better understand it, consider a movie that is being shared among users through torrents or other networks. Let's say it is star wars II: the empire strikes back. Let's say someone wants to "hack" it and make a fake version of the movie in which Darth Vader is the brother (not the father) of Luke Skywalker. Even if he has success in faking it, he still has to "convince" all people sharing the movie that his version is the real and original one. Get to every computer where the movie is sharing and change it. That is pretty much impossible.

77  Economy / Speculation / Re: I See bitcoin at $10,000 before end of this year. on: September 26, 2017, 04:32:57 PM
If the amazon thing were to be true and not just a rumor, it could happen. That would be lots of trouble to amazon as you say, but... what if amazon just know it and is buying BTC in advance? Perhaps they can accept some trouble if they know bitcoin price will go to the moon.

I don't think that is going to be the case... but who knows.
78  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: September 26, 2017, 04:28:16 PM
Trading is more profitable, but it is also riskier. Usually risk and yield go hand in hand. When risk goes up, the potential to profit goes up and vice-versa.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: September 26, 2017, 04:25:45 PM
It mostly depends on why he is hating it. Probably best thing is not to talk to him /her again.

I have met with someone like that. I told him he should check Bitcoin as an investment, and he got angry and started to talk about economic bubbles, and how bad is to be obssesed with money.
80  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Suggest domain for website on: September 25, 2017, 09:34:18 PM
Please suggest domain from the list for my new website for creating faucet/coin rotators, and users will go on their rotators using subdomain.domain.something.
-coinrotator.xyz
-faucetrotator.xyz
-rotatorcoin.xyz
-rotatorfaucet.xyz
If you dont like any domain from the list you can suggest your own, anyway thank you and visit my faucet http://www.similarfaucet.club/ for some little reward for suggesting domain name Cheesy

IŽll vote for faucetrotator. Mostly because that is what the website would be. The others might suggest that the rotator is for different coins, which is likely not to be the intent...
