1001  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I was scammed ...... on: February 02, 2016, 04:18:12 PM
Team viewer is a program that allows control of a computer remotely. It is used a lot in technical support. I guess he had already copied his address, or used Teamviewer to send a scrypt that made the transaction. Thanks for sharing this, that's brave of you.

Well that is one of my addresses at least (lol). I think it is a good idea, just in case. And seems like more than 153 pages of users posting addresses have about the same opinion Smiley
1003  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to hit $10,000? on: February 02, 2016, 03:37:24 PM
Crushing majority of people saying "longer than this" lol, and very likely some of the ones that voted other options are joking. We cannot dream of it hitting 10,000 if it cannot touch the 600$. Hoping for double price is more than enough, I think
1004  Economy / Digital goods / Re: More than 2000+ private keys for 0.35 BTC on: February 02, 2016, 03:33:45 PM
It was funny to read this, as I did not thought it was possible to generate private keys out of the blue, even less to match one that has money in it. It is reassuring also to read that this is not easy at all (thanks for the reddit link)
1005  Economy / Lending / Re: .04 BTC loan on: February 02, 2016, 03:28:25 PM
Nice return, but what do you offer as a collateral? There is a sticky in this forum that puts that rule very clearly: No collateral no loan. Have you some altcoins or something to offer as collaterar?
1006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FLY coin v1.78 RELEASED *NEW WALLET* for Flycoin on 1/10/2016!! New thread. on: February 02, 2016, 02:26:02 PM
Just something I wanted to ask... Posting on this thread is considered promotion? I understand it is somewhat a method of promoting it as the thread goes up to the top in forum. Just asking.

Thanks again for this wonderful coin, is one of the few I have that stakes decently (without even being in superfly) and does not lose value.
1007  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New Robot Coin Game Rework! on: February 02, 2016, 02:10:38 PM
I liked this faucet, but then I lost my registration somehow and missed about it. I remember load times were somewhat slow, but I will consider it to give it another try. The game concept and the levelling up make it rather unique IMO.
1008  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im new to trading on: February 01, 2016, 11:31:18 PM
If it is a coin that has low volume, you'll likely want to sell it. Although some crapcoins get some boost at times, it is better to foculs on BTC, LTC, DOGE, ETH and the like, and perhaps on some other that, for whatever reason (you like it, you feel it has potential) you'd want to hold.
1009  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: questions about trading. on: February 01, 2016, 02:16:50 PM
You can use localbitcoins as some say, also coinbase (have to give personal data) or Xapo or some BTC/USD exchange. I guess you can also try to exchange them in forum, but do not know if that would be too risky.
1010  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Share your opinions about technical analysis on: February 01, 2016, 02:09:17 PM
Technical analysis cannot be trusted much in the sense that past flow of the chart does not necessarily mean such and such future behaviour... but as many people believe it DOES predict it, then it is wise to take that into consideration.
1011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The answer to the question what the final coin amount of Ethereum will be on: February 01, 2016, 02:02:11 PM
So if the original post is right (which I assume is) there is less and less inflation as we go on in time. As Eth future is uncertain, that might make someone to think that it is better to wait a bit to hold, as ETH you get now will be more inflated.
1012  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350 will be the bottom on: February 01, 2016, 01:53:01 PM
I agree that the bottom will be around 350 dollars. It has even stayed above 360 and does not seem likely to go lower than 350 unless there is some new FUD or negative news (which can be, but is a little unpredictable).
1013  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet? on: February 01, 2016, 01:45:13 PM
I agree with poster above. I do not really know if it is best, as I had not used other wallets, but Multibit HD works great for me, syncs fast, and makes backups all by itself. I think it is worth trying.

1014  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to follow whales? on: February 01, 2016, 01:39:39 PM
I think one of the best advice is the one given first: wait till price is stable and then somewhat guess if it is time to buy or sell analysing in which price we are at. If it is relatively low, it is likely to go up from stability mark. But you cannot be sure 100%
1015  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: February 01, 2016, 01:08:31 PM
Sad to hear you lost money on that one. I guess that with the current prices (that are somewhat low) it is harder yet. Have you tried POS coins? You can invest a little and not risk much. I love NETcoin for example, that provides some interest in the form of newly staked coins every few (six) hours.
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to make a commitment to go the distance on: February 01, 2016, 12:52:08 PM
As others say, it is quite risky to get a profit from investing. There are several options: cloud mining (which can go wrong), buying promising altcoins (which you never know if they will go up in price), buying shares (there are some exchanges like cryptopia or bleutrade that offer them), or buying POS coins (which offer a % of interest for holding them, but those too can go down).

1017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: (ANN) Netcoin has gone POS! With PIR & OWI on: February 01, 2016, 02:17:10 AM
Does anyone know how much time does it takes for Bittrex to actually send NET to local wallet? I made a withdraw and confirmed it more than half an hour ago, but still do not get the coins in my wallet. Thing is there is even a transfer id in Bittrex, but that id does not provide info (no results) on blockchain explorer.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 01, 2016, 01:17:13 AM
I have found a recent way to earn some BTC that is by sharing links using credhot. If you use to share links with your friends and such, you can get some bits by sharing links using that. Is shorta faucet like, but can be bigger if you have many people clicking your links.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 01, 2016, 01:14:10 AM
I have about 1.7 Bitcoin only. 0.5 of it I store online (coinbase) because it is easier to use them that way. 1 BTC I store on my local computer using multibit HD wallet, and the rest of it is on a POS altcoin (NETcoin) also on my local wallet, to earn some interest on my coins daily.

That's the way I store them.
1020  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: CLAIM BITS | get 555 to 1111 satoshi on: February 01, 2016, 01:10:20 AM
Tried it, claimed it, and received it. I like this faucet because it is simple and anti-bot links are not all that hard to find nor trick you into clicking ads like others do. Not bad.
