821  Economy / Speculation / Re: Microsoft Store No Longer Accepts Bitcoin on: March 18, 2016, 08:10:51 PM
Good to hear they are accepting it yet. However, I always wonder how can you accept a payment mean that goes up and down in value several times a day.... an item can cost you 5% more or less depending the time of the day you buy it lol.
822  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: March 18, 2016, 08:02:12 PM
yeah you should definitely save up your bitcoin for the future times in order to make some decent money out of it

soon there will be a bitcoin block halving what would most probably push the price of the bitcoin significantly up, im holding all my bitcoins for this event

same here im saved around 1coins for next year  Cool

Save it ....I Feel the price will definitely increase but right now it is slow but the best thing is not going down.
We need some patience once we feel ok.... the price is acceptable then you can use it.
The price of bitcoin does go down but most of the time it recovers back to a stable price range.

Yes you can say that, I even think it will all time recover back to its original start, the bitcoin is not destroyable.
The bitcoin will also rise this year at the end of it so holding would be good.

Yes, there are some good possibilities for a big raise:

1) The halving that would surely produce a raise

2) Agreement in the blocksize debate, which also can produce a big rise when it is achieved.

3) Things we may not be aware of Smiley
823  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: bitter.io - The modern PTC, earn bitcoins in a second on: March 17, 2016, 08:17:09 PM
But .... is the site a scam or just the user you are mentioning? It does not seem clear by your post, at least for me.
824  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free Elec - Avg Temp 18º - Budget 30k. Start or not? on: March 17, 2016, 07:00:43 PM
Yeah, it does not seem very profitable to start BTC mining, even with cheap/free electricity, as the equipment and time to set it up and maintain it cost money too... and price is not going up.
825  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card 0.5$ + Giveaway on: March 17, 2016, 06:55:58 PM
How would a virtual card work using this service? it will just provide the car number to use online? thanks in advance.
826  Economy / Speculation / Re: Block Halving in 2016 - Boon or Bane for BTC price ?? on: March 17, 2016, 06:41:33 PM
Some trustworthy highly reputed cloudmining sites have either turn off mining or offer a very low profitability now, so it seems to me that price does have to go up in order for some mining business to continue. It seems that some BTC money has gone to ethereum too.
827  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: March 17, 2016, 06:21:26 PM
I do not think holding is in fact bad, I hold about 60% of my BTC, but I think mixing some trading and good POS coins is better. At the very least, it is lest boring than just HODL  Grin
828  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: please don't pm me on: March 17, 2016, 06:17:59 PM
I sold my site /faucet   faucetrank.com tow weeks before please don't pm me regarding that site .

I'm creating a new xapo faucet with WordPress and its almost ready so soon I'll launch a new xapo faucet .

WordPress templates looks great so my faucet design would be much better then my previous faucet .
it'll be mobile friendly .

Regards

Glad to hear it. Yours was a good faucet, and we look forward to seeing your new one. Did not know there were wordpress templates.
829  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: March 17, 2016, 02:58:41 AM
Interest is fair and not bad considering that you just have to put your BTC to sit there. It is true that you can collect more interest by investing in some good POS altcoins, but that is risky, as those altcoins can drop in price swiftly.
830  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is faucet profitable ? on: March 17, 2016, 02:54:54 AM
I think it can be profitable if you play it smart enough to show ads without being too bothersome for users. Those faucets that show ads, and then additional ads on a popup window when you click the claim button before showing an additional "I'm human" message, are a good example.
831  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: March 16, 2016, 05:34:42 PM
That got me thinking... if bitcoin becomes so valuable and widespread, probably hacking and bitcoin theft will scalate a lot. Many of today users will likely be stolen of their BTC.
832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: any chance bitcoin will die after Unmineable ..? on: March 16, 2016, 05:30:35 PM
Before that happens, probably some mechanism to ensure network stability will be put forth. Perhaps some POS system or modified fee system.
833  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin ranks by ownership on: March 16, 2016, 05:28:45 PM
It's a funny list, I would be a "bitcoin adept user". Let's see if we can put the effort to escalate a few positions lol.

Thing is, if Bitcoin goes to the moon, perhaps named should be changed. A moderate bitcoin user would become a millionaire.
834  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: My First Faucet on: March 16, 2016, 02:53:38 AM
http://earningturtle.com/ check this out ! up to 1500 satoshi every 30 minutes and 25% referral commission !

Sorry if is the wrong thread. I'm new here. Huh

Let me be the first to say thanks, 376 satoshi was sent to you on FaucetBOX.com.

You will need some ads on your faucet for survival.

I do not see that it is lacking ads... in fact I got a betting popunder ad (those tend to pay well lol). It would be nice to offer a proxy not allowed message in page, just to let proxy users to not waste their time.

Not bad faucet.
835  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: new faucet 700 stoshi on: March 16, 2016, 02:49:14 AM
Thanks for this new faucet, claimed and received the 700 satoshis, just as promised. It is not so common nowadays to get paying faucets.

836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto: "Bitcoin can scale larger than the Visa Network" on: March 15, 2016, 11:45:53 PM
I think that the statement is true: "Bitcoin CAN [not that it will neccessarily] scale larger than the Visa Network". It seems like that is far away yet, and blocksize would likely be solved one way or another if adoption were increasing at a good rate.
837  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Thingamajig.us you can earn 0.01 btc with just 1000 points. Why Gamble? on: March 15, 2016, 10:00:15 PM
Almost all survey sites do not have anything for countries other than tier 1. It would be helpful to see some of the offers at least before deciding to take the time to register.
838  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: BTCnewsFaucet.com on: March 15, 2016, 08:14:28 PM
Your site looks very good, very nice layout. However, the fact that it is continually asking for joining the newsletter and the fact that registering is needed for the faucet will likely put many users off.
839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IncaKoin rename competition on: March 15, 2016, 07:53:12 PM
Ok let's see

1) A possible name could be "9on5" referring to the stake rate (9% on 5 weeks). I think it sounds catchy enough and would help people remember the stake rate easily.

2)  "StakeCoin" would be another option. Surprisingly, the name has not been taken by other coin (at least that I can find). It would relate users to staking and tell a lot about the coin. Many users are surprisingly not aware that staking exists.

3) "HumbleCoin" I have been in Incakoin for more than 100 days and it has surprised me because of its humility (not to the moon or to the something slogans... no hype, but kept the 100% reward as promised). Perhaps that name will not attract many people, but others will for a coin with no hype.

Cannot think of any more suggestions... but hope this helps!
840  Economy / Speculation / Re: MMM affect bitcoin price on: March 15, 2016, 05:36:54 PM
Did not know about MMM before reading this post guys, it is sad to know it might have so much influence in Bitcoin. There is a lot of dark businesses moving in BTC  Undecided
