Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Faucets And Cloud Mining Sites.

Although the payout is somewhat high (you have to do them several weeks to get paid) I would recommend crypto racers, pokebits and virtualpub as faucets. I have been paid for more than one year in pokebits, and the others I have received payment too and are from the same owner.
Freebitcoin and moonbitcoin are also quite good.
As for cloud mining, I have not recovered my inversion with some of the so called "legit" ones. The payments did not cover the expenses and they reserve the right to turn off miners when they are unprofitable, and they do become unprofitable when difficulty raises.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid your altcoin being called a scam?
|
on: August 15, 2017, 10:17:28 AM

Premines are a sure-fire way to be called "scam" (even though that is not necessarily the case). So in order to avoid to be called scam for that, I would do no premine.
On the long run, you just keep not being a scam. Do not dump coins, do share some to people worth it and interested, solve user problems (no connections, transactions not working, etc.) and support the coin. That will make many think that, after all, your coin is not a scam.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ?

New things (or sort of new) hold the potential to produce millonaires. It's when they are not new and they begin to be regulated that the potential disappears a little. So yes, Bitcoin is a way of getting rich quickly right now, and has been for some time. But that will not happen forever.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN affect in WWIII (WORLD WAR 3)
|
on: August 15, 2017, 10:08:08 AM

I think when there is a war, people seek alternative places to put their money in, and that might produce a Bitcoin surge. Bitcoin is well known in America and Asia, and the fear of money devaluating can produce a raise.

Not yet. You'll need like 20-30 Bitcoin for that in my view, and there is not many people that have so many.
I am not one of them at least lol. We'll keep waiting until it gets 10 times higher.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators - at what price will you sell?
|
on: August 14, 2017, 04:20:06 PM
|
The sale is not so much determined by the price as it is by the circumstances. If it is going up fast, with no signs of slowing down (like it is now), it is more likely to continue so. I think one of the best moments to sell is when after reaching a high, it begins to go down so you do not cut your earnings.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer? BTC or ETH?
|
on: August 14, 2017, 02:44:35 PM
|
I prefer Bitcoin as this is really the pioneer and innovative technology in cryptocurrencies. ETH is good too, however, and very innovative when compared to the thousands of Bitcoin clones. The smart contracts it provides are a great idea on paper, and value may skyrocket if they are finally used widely.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - % on risk to put on credit card...
|
on: August 14, 2017, 12:16:23 PM

It's too much risk. Too much money. It can go down not too hard and you'll lose a lot of money in the process. Perhaps a lower investment would be more advisable, something like 0.5 BTC or so. If it goes up, great. If it goes down, you can consider to buy more or quit. But 5BTC at once is too much risk.

Economy / Speculation / Re: How Long Bitcoin Will Bullish
|
on: August 14, 2017, 12:04:17 PM
|
Truth is many people are waiting for the correction now to enter. Some of my friends (for example) which never were interested in Bitcoin, are now paying some interest and waiting a correction to jump in. Old Bitcoiners also are waiting for it to go down to buy more...the point is that, in case the correction happens, it will be softened and short lived because of the people who is waiting to buy more.

Certainly, I have proved lots of strategies and variatons of the Martingale and you end up always loosing in the end. More so if you do not admit your defeat and keep on betting to "recover". It's quite dangerous.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever drop below 2500 ?
|
on: August 12, 2017, 08:15:18 PM

Big bad news can make that happen. A major bug, an error in the segwit protocol or in the november fork... things like that are possible. But that is not the most likely thing to happen in my view.

Do you see many institutional investors in Bitcoin at this time? Are pension funds including Bitcoin in their portfolios? I have exposure to this information at my job and can assure you they are not.
Based on this I would say that we are still in the stealth phase, possibly moving into the awareness phase.
That's great info to know bro. I feel the same in people around me. Most do not want to know much about bitcoin, but they have heard about it already. If this graph is going to be true... the big raise is much yet to come.
