From what I read, the s5 is having issues and seems quite loud where most people modify or change the fan. The SP20s can get rather quiet if you get them to sub 700watt and around 1200GH. No mods necessary.
This is an accurate assessment. An SP20 running @ ~1250GHs @ 20% fans is quieter than an S5 with the stock fans. To your point of "having issues", I'm not sure what specifically you are referring to. The two B1 S5's I purchased have been running very well, performance wise.

Is the S5 a dead model now? Anyone know?
I heard through the grapevine that we should be patient for just a short while longer.

FWIW, I've sent in a request for a quote on 1.5THs of Bitfury rigs that Dave originally sold me, and have not yet received a response as well.
Did this on the first day of the program being announced.
Perhaps they don't want them ? *shrugs*

Can yo add something to amt thread? I can't. I suggest if you can add something on topic just do it
Can you add something to this thread other than your name-calling, and having your rediculous tiff with Bick in public ? Honestly, it's getting boring to read. The only thing amusing is your tenuous grasp of, and butchering of the English language, whilst impotently having your silly little flame war / lovers spat. please do not call me a names.
How about you lead by example ? I am merely mimicking your infantile behavior for comedic effect. If you got your impressions about me from my fight with bickLEDSKY it is very bad for you.
Au contraire, it's very bad for you. Doubly so for Marto. The most pathetic is that mentally disordered people...
... Ima let you finish but Beyonce had one of the best music videos of all time.

How does your last post serve to address any of the issues I have raised for you ? If anything, it serves to reinforce the point that this is nothing to do with AMT, but everything to do with you being upset with Bick for hitting you a little bit too close to your family jewels. Who cares if Bick has never mined a Bitcoin in his life. It doesn't take away from the fact that you and Marto continue to act like comically pathetic Euro-Thugs. "Losershia", stop with your moronic Bick bashing. I'm not his biggest fan either, but you're coming off way worse. Please try to return the discussion back on point towards AMT and Joshua Zipkin screwing over a significant number of people out of a lot of money. bickLEDsky
Losershia ? See how childish name-calling can be ? I can appreciate that you have a bit of a tiff with Bick, but your constant misspellings of his nick paint you in the light of nothing more than a simplistic troll with a poor command of the english language, which makes it even more unintentionally humorous and hard to take seriously. This isn't about WASP. Who cares about the WASP project at this point. You keep bringing it up like it's something that actually matters. This is all about you and Marto being Euro-thugs in Bitcoin space and being butt-mad that Bick is calling you guys out for what you are. Please. Stop. Grow up already. Dude, The only thing I can say is that I was one of the losers who recived two avalons in batch one About bickLEDsky he has not mined with a single miner in his life. And I am enough with his bulshit everywhere including this topic here. He is NOBODY I WILL REPEAT IN PURE ENGLISH NOBODY AND he has nothing to do with mining in general even he is not believing in Bitcoin at all.i am wandering how many bitcoins bickLEDSKY has. Let me gues ZERO! He will seek for a howto even to sign a message . That is ridiculously pathetic About marto I am his customer and I am the one of the happiest ones About marto's customers I can not say anything. For sure not all of them are happy BUT BICKLEDSKY is not one of them also and he is not in position to judge anyone I repeat ANYONE including marto About you I can not say anything because I do not know you at all. So please stay on topic and say something about Poserkoto Zipkin and how close wasp scam was with amt back then or go somwere else with the professor to fight for justice and freedom Thank you And please ask you friend bickLEDSKY to stop to remove his posts will you? That is something that even young boys don't do right professor? You are a grown man teacher is that true If the answer is yes act as such please Thank you

Considering SP20's are no longer readily available, unfortunately, it seems the S5 is your only reasonable remaining choice at this present time.

I had something similar happen once (with a different pool), and it was actually a problem on my end - wifi interference. Have you tried splitting half your hashes to another pool to see if the downtime is at your end?
It's not wifi interference on my end. Half the systems are hard-wired, and the other half are wireless. When the ghash.io connection breaks, the miners have no issue connecting to the backup pool.

i guess the gun thing is pretty normal in texas
Yes. Guns are very common and normal in Texas. Especially in rural areas.

Anyone from Ghash.io reading this able to comment on what's going on ? I'm about ready to take my ball, and hang out in another playground for a bit at this rate.

What sort of alternate reality are we living in where Slush has more hash rate than Ghash ?!? Dafuq is going on ? Lingering DDoS still ?

can you post a screenshot if it is interesting? I will certainly not register with any social media crap just to read something When Bloggers (Like Me) FailJane Kreisman Media Maven at AI Coin, Executive Director, ฿it (©oin) Change ClubI need to “come clean” about some of my blogs that featured GAWMiners, HashCoin and PayCoin over the past several months. I rarely write in the first person, but this is about my own participation in this messy situation. I want to set the record straight and make amends to anyone who might have lost funds because of my enthusiastic posts. I blog, unpaid, for the greater Crypto community on my ad-free web site, the Bitcoin Change Club, and on Linked-In.
While I no longer consider my blogs about GAWMiners to be accurate, they did diligently document my understanding of events at the time, as communicated to me as a customer. I never had any “inside information.” My blogs still accurately illustrate the marketing strategies and claims made to customers, however, most of whom lost the majority of their investments, including me.
GAWMiners is now deeply mired in controversy including an SEC investigation. One major point of public contention is how and why so many of CEO Josh Garza’s posts were systematically deleted from his own forum, HashTalk. That is why I quit editing Mr. Garza’s posts on HashTalk, and decided not to delete my own blogs, simply on principle. I have nothing to hide. I hope my blogs can serve some other, better purpose now.
I personally had a unique experience with GAWMiners. At first it was very positive. They paid me small stipends in Bitcoin to create a Crypto-WIKI on HashTalk, of which I am still proud. It was my first “Bitcoin Job,” which I loved, and I invested almost all of that BTC back into GAWMiners.
I was named one of the original “19 Paycoin Origin” innovators, and was given a nice badge and a free miner. It was not the first -- or last-- gift I received from GAW. Later I was named an “Innovator,” and was given 500 Paycoins which were then projected to be valued at $10,000, but today, sadly, are worth a mere $300.00. I was also awarded a free trip to the Bitcoin Convention in Miami, so I can’t just ungraciously walk away and act ungrateful. In fact, I stayed on much longer than I probably should have, trying to help other customers get their accounts un-blocked, un-banned and un-fudged.
In my last published blog about GAWMiners and Paycoin in January, I had to concede that the nasty GAW/Paycoin controversy had gone “viral.”
I suggested that:
‘Nay-sayers will have to retract their rants for now, and be silent for a while.’ ‘If the Timeline is not met for the roll-out of the features that everyone is clamoring for “yesterday,” then the cynics can try again.’ The Timeline was not met.
I stand corrected.
Features were not rolled out, including the attractive PayBase Premier Account, which I was supposed to receive as part of my “Innovator” award.
The “Honor Program” to pay customers the promised $20 per Paycoin was scrapped, even though I personally came up with a popular and feasible alternative plan.
My expensive collection of Legendary Hashlets-turned-Stakers are now all but worthless, including my “Origin Staker,” which some of “The 19” sold for thousands of dollars several months ago. Sorry, Mom. I should have listened to you and sold it back then.
The list of GAW/Paycoin failures goes on and on, including: “never-obsolete / always profitable” mining services that became worthless and were terminated, broken wallet software, thousands of test coins not destroyed as scheduled, no top-tier merchant partnerships, no credit / debit cards, no “moving” the market and no $20 “floor” for Paycoin, while GAWMiners’ own “Prime Controllers” were raking in 350% APR and compounding coins.
I have also blogged about other unfolding crypto failures. There have been so many…including the cloud-mining dis-service, Hashie.co, which also scammed customers like me out of our Bitcoin and Giga-Hashes.
I want to thank The Mage and other members and former members of the Crypto-coin communities like HashTalk and GetHashing who have graciously extended to me their understanding and forgiveness.
To anyone who lost money because of my blogs, I’m deeply sorry.

MFW BTCGuild has a higher hash rate than GHash.io, presently. Any other pools out there that allow percentage distributions to various accounts ?
I do on a hash rate basis - i.e. if you have a large enough hash rate, I have an option in ckdb to enable that. One of the top miners on my pool uses it already. PM me if you are interested. ... but... I don't like you

EDIT: Remember a time when there was so much concern about GHash.io 51%'ing the network ? Oh how the mighty have fallen...

All sold. Thanks everyone. Will be shipping out the three remaining units tomorrow (Friday) morning.

I'm not sure what aggravates me more. The fact that ghash.io is down, or all my Bitmain miners are beeping their fucking heads off because their firmware *STILL* ignores the "Turn Off Beeping" checkbox.
