1381  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 05, 2015, 06:41:48 PM
He was posting in a Butterfly Labs thread, and derailing, ergo, he had SOMETHING to do with Butterfly Labs, even if it was a passing interest in joining the discussion.
Thanks for confirming.
I do not understand your response.

Please elaborate.
1382  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Paypal Group Buy - Antminer S5 (USA Customer Only) $480 includes Shipping on: January 05, 2015, 06:36:46 PM
With BTC dropping down to ~$300 USD, this seems like a good time to buy via fiat. Looking to pick up at least another... PM'd !
why would it be better to buy in fiat and effectively pay premium when you can instant buy BTC on coinbase?
Buying BTC on Coinbase as well Smiley Also, the Paypal includes shipping, so I think it's effectively a wash.
1383  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 05, 2015, 06:30:09 PM
You are essentially backing and supporting Josh Zerlan of Butterfly Lab's doxing of myself, Bick, and PL with this argument, and you are saying "That's relevant and acceptable" but a user being doxed for derailing a Butterfly Labs thread gets COMPLETELY whitewashed ?
Nope.
So your argument here is someone that has, as far as anyone can tell or has alleged, absolutely nothing to do with BFL being harassed with ten pages of nonsense posts is ontopic in a BFL thread because Josh-- a third party-- treated you like shit in the past?  Just making sure I'm clear about your line of thinking, because it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

He was posting in a Butterfly Labs thread, and derailing, ergo, he had SOMETHING to do with Butterfly Labs, even if it was a passing interest in joining the discussion.

Would you not agree ?

Define harassment ? Would you not agree that taking pre-order monies, not delivering products for months on end, and then antagonizing their customer base on these forums with his legendary bad behavior constitutes harassment ? Economic violence even ?

Lawyer dude decided to poke the bear. He was doxed for his derailing in a BFL thread. He cried harassment when he was unmasked. You came in on a white horse to his rescue.

Is this an accurate read ?

I'm not clear on your line of thinking, and what you are trying to rationalize here.

EDIT: Also, how on God's-green-earth is this thread not considered harassment, and should be deleted by your own standards (Information is hacked, stolen, published for the sake of harassment and intimidation, and allowed to stay up)

"It's relevant because I harassed someone and had a fun time" is not an argument. Smiley

Is this a correct read on your argument ?

Read: "The good guys/customers get punished, and the bad guys are allowed to continue with their bad behavior preying on their marks and derailing threads"

1387  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 05, 2015, 05:53:14 PM
I don't know and don't care about "dox".  I removed a ton of posts that have absolutely nothing, not even any claim, of having to do with BFL, that were basically making it impossible to find the one in ten posts that were actually about BFL.
You don't care about "dox", but "coincidentally" removed every post containing the specific information pertaining to his identity, effectively whitewashing his "bad behavior".

Yes, I understand that the BFL thread is a complete mess, but it IS relevant and having to do with Butterfly Labs when shills and antagonists are identified and their cloak of anonymity removed.

Would you not agree that perhaps you went a bit too far with the post deletions in this particular instance ?

Having the lawyer identified in that thread was relevant to the discussion, although the following 10 pages of BS were not.

Why not split it off into a Meta thread instead of whitewashing it ?
1388  Other / Meta / Re: Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 05, 2015, 05:43:11 PM
Furthermore, try posting Theymos' dox and see what happens.
I'm pretty sure we all know who Theymos is, its been mentioned many, many times.
You're missing the point, dude, but thank you for your useless post.
1389  Other / Meta / Deleted posts in the Hardware BFL Thread, Double Standards, and Hypocrisy on: January 05, 2015, 05:33:30 PM
Why is it that when a lawyer gets doxed and complains in a Butterfly Labs thread, all the offending posts identifying him are deleted, and bans are threatened, but when Butterfly Labs management doxes it's customers for complaining about their poor business practices, that information is allowed to stay up indefinitely.

When scammers are doxed, that information is allowed to stay.

Furthermore, try posting Theymos' dox and see what happens.

Why the hypocrisy and double standards ?

Either doxing everyone is OK, or doxing nobody is OK.

 Where is the consistency ?
1390  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 04, 2015, 07:01:38 PM
Sounds like he's fishing for supporting documentation and if it exists... He damn well knows what he said.
All the supporting information he's fishing for is available right in this thread.

It has been very well documented.

What the heck is his deal ?
1391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 04, 2015, 06:43:20 PM
Man... What is it with people named Josh involved with Bitcoin, and being such lying, unscrupulous sociopaths ?

Do they really think their prior posts aren't going to come back to haunt them in the internet age ?

AMT, Butterfly Labs, GAW...

It really is uncanny.

Hey guys, I'm still in contact with Josh.

Does anyone have screenshots or links to these claims? I'm pretty sure I've seen the screens posted here before but I'm too lazy to dig through the thread to find them.

Thanks.

*The "100m" thing is referring to the $100,000,000 funds raised for Paycoin's floor or something

1394  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] 3 x 4 Module A1 Clones & 1 x Antminer S2 - No Power Supplies - USA Only on: January 03, 2015, 06:56:30 PM
Looking to part with 3 x A1 28nm 4 module units (2 x BitTech and 1 x Quiangminer, FWIW), and an Antminer S2 with a dim display (Need to look at it at an angle to view the text)

The A1's are stable around 850-900GHs, and the S2 is solid at 1THs - Selling these *AS IS* meaning reconfiguration is entirely on the buyer.

Photos of the A1's below. Will be ripping out the power supplies to minimize shipping costs. Need AT LEAST 1100W power supplies for these guys.

Asking 0.6 BTC total per unit (0.5 BTC per unit + 0.1 BTC for shipping) without power supplies.

Asking 1 BTC total per unit with power supply included.

Please PM me if interested, as I do not frequent this sub very often.

Is this the correct link to order S5's from Amazon via Bitmain ?

http://www.amazon.com/AntMiner-S5-~1155Gh-0-51W-Bitcoin/dp/B00RBV2OE6

Notice there is a $100 premium purchasing via Amazon ? Looking to acquire another unit to test extreme underclocking and getting an S5 running quiet enough to run in a bedroom.
1398  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 03, 2015, 04:32:11 AM
yeah I sold the s-5 demo since the unit 's sound and lack of stacking do not work well for me.  I have 8 running sp20's and although I know I should not buy any more I want another 2. Must resist.
I've reached a reasonable limit of SP20's and S5's that I can tuck away into bedrooms or garages and have it be out of earshot of our bedroom.

Have to stick with a lone S2 and a dozen S3's for running within earshot of the bedroom due to their quieter nature.

IMO, the next batch of "home miners" need to run around ~50-55dBA to be considered quiet enough to run inside a house :|

Will probably order a couple more S5's and underclock them with quieter fans and still get 'em running <60C for use within earshot of a bedroom.

There's no way I'm going to get an SP20 quiet enough to run near a bedroom and have the economics of the purchase work out, unfortunately.
1399  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 03, 2015, 01:27:38 AM
Any ideas how to change the hostname on SP20's and having it stick after a reboot ?

Tried "hostname name" and "vi /etc/hostname" and neither of 'em stick Sad

Also, just got my two GB units in, and can't seem to break 1.55TH/s using Antec 1300's with the default settings of the SP20E

Any suggestions on what I might be able to do, to get 'em running closer to 1.7TH/s ?

1400  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: S-5 review. It has arrived some info is in! on: January 02, 2015, 06:03:55 PM
I haven't seen any problems overclocking mine to 400M in a 40C room.
That's crazy ! You must have some legendary S5 that was forged in Mordor... or something...

EDIT: Board temps <60C ?
