Hello I'm attempting to move the xcp from my compromised wallet, but I'm unable to select any action such as send using a chrome browser!
He/she has left 0.0007653 Bitcoin in dust in the account.
I've tried using internet explorer but can't even log in with this (and I have logged out of chrome and closed chrome browser first)!
Can someone please advise what I should do?

You can make as many payments as you like, they'll likely arb mastercoin for a while now and keep saying they've been loaned more money or some other kind of bullshit. They scrapped the 40% sliding scale bonus, so essentially everyone just get's 40% more coins then listed on their site. a fixed rate of 23800 instead of 17000. |

In conversation with maxmint on how to do this, as its currently not easy to send MSAFE to masterxchange, unless you understand and trust Omniwallet. Is there any reason to trust it? do you know who wrote it? I meant from a usability point of view, as its alpha (scary to non-coders), and maxmint was reporting a problem with it yesterday. Heres the problem....Ive sent a small amount of MSC to maxmint, from masterxchange to buy MSAFE. I would like for maxmint to send MSAFE straight to masterxchange, but they say they need an address that the owner of the sent MSAFE has control of the private keys (they also need the sending address, before i/maxmint sends). If maxmint is ok with sending me the private keys after he has sent to masterxchange, problem solved, as i dont have to worry about dealing with buggy wallet sofwarez. Will update. Thanks for explanation, yeah I'm really nervous about using it. I would consider just about everything I've seen from the counterparty devs to be vastly superior to mastercoin (not knocking the greatest criminals this month in crypto!) but even some of the counterwallets (web based) got hacked (in the same way as omni did I believe just 10 days ago?) lost 1 bitcoin myself, tho the devs have offered to honor it. |

When I go to the Blockscan.com page I get redirected to google! is it just me? It's weird as it's a new laptop I bought purposely to never download anything on or ever use sites with Iframe on so I don't believe it can be a virus.

I've been looking at every site relating to mastercoin (but haven't clicked on a single executable from any of their stuff) and counterwallet + blockscan that's about it.
maybe mastercoin foundation hackers managed to compromise counterparty mainframe by uploading malicous file: mastercoin-wallet-preview.jpg.exe. once first stage was complete and they breached the firewall defense system they whipped up a quick visual basic gui to gain a list of targets (counterparty supporters) which they are now selectively redirecting to google as a subtle yet genius form of pyschological warfare alright, alright get your point lol Have been extremely careful with this computer in the 6 weeks I've had it so can't understand how I've got a virus unless its an exploit from a site. |

Porqupine are you on the list I'm wondering if its related that's all? also if anyone else on the list could say if they're having this issue. It's definitely unique to you - there are viruses that will redirect your browser though why they would work in such an obvious fashion is beyond me, are you using windows?

Besides the fact that some morons are now millionairs, haha. Wow someone who might actually get it pigs really can fly!  Mastercoin is supposed to be at .2 all month during this fund raiser. It is a real shame that it is back down to .1. That 'fix rate' trick failed miserably. It made a very tricky market in the few days up to the launch - and then everything was bullshit. I lost a lot of money because of that bullshit move. Mastercoin can't play those games and expect no consequences. That price fixing royally favors those in the 'know' and screws honest people just trying to operate within the rules. I am responsible in part for Chang losses. I told him all would be right with .2. I sure didn't know Irvine would close MSC funding and send the price back to .1 in the middle of the night. That was one expensive lesson. I hope Chang didn't lose as much as I did because he was rightfully apprehensive when I told him to have faith in Mastercoin. No more price fixing schemes which backfire to serious financial losses. I call bullshit! I appreciate the sentiment, but we were just barking normal bullshit trading on opposite sides of the fence banter at each other I've only got myself to blame for my own risk assessment here I thought I'd get out in time, like you say went crazily fast (which is ironically what I was saying would happen a few days before on their google dev page!). Of course in terms of what was agreed what's legal here I've asked for a refund today based on the fact they're insisted on changing the market place in a small market with low trading volume, discontinued the bonus (although they adamantly argue that giving everyone a 40% bonus isn't the same as giving no-one a bonus). It's the worst smelling thing in cryptoland since kapeles lost 10% of the worlds bitcoins last month! |

That's amazing. This morning was the first time I attempted to use counterwallet.co to buy an asset (mostly just to try it out), but the sale didn't go through because it said I had insufficient BTC -- I tore my hair out about how this could be possible, saw that the whole .15BTC had been moved to a new address, finally came here and saw this. It seems my timing was exactly, perfectly bad.
I have followed the instructions on sweeping the key into a new wallet, and emailed the dev address. Any help is appreciated.
I've only ever had dust in mine, but withdrew a full bitcoin off an exchange that came through this morning arrggghhh!! |

How to be reimbursedAfter creating your new wallet and transferring the funds over, send an email to dev@counterparty.co including: - a new address to which to send the reimbursed BTC funds
- the passphrase of the compromised wallet (i.e. the one with the address from which the funds were stolen). Please only send this passphrase after you have moved all of the funds out of this wallet. Unfortunately, we need this passphrase to prove that you are the actual owner of the address in this situation, as signing a message from the compromised address is not enough here, as the hacker could do that, as well.
Please keep in mind that the Counterparty team will never ask for the passphrase of a wallet which holds funds
I've lost a bitcoin, as previously mentioned I also lost a very small amount from counterparty.old but wasn't to fussed about it (I assumed it was the reason for the update of wallets, so just made a brief post here about it).
