Hi halfcab, XCPs are so cheap coz of no trading interest. If you really see the trading happening in both poloniex/bter, someone is trying to mix his XCPs(not sure why). I believe this guy is responsible for 90% of the trade in both the exchanges for last 3 weeks or so.(PM me if you are interested to know the address) PP and XNOVA are doing a great job, no doubt in that. But the key is to generate more interest in XCP. The value of XCPs should be atleast that of MSC if not more. Do you mean the market caps should be equal or counterparty greater? Master has 5x less coins total, so if the caps were equal xcp would be (msc/5) per coin. I was hoping we would see at least half of MSC coin price for xcp, which would require the cap of counterparty to be 2.5x msc cap. I'm going to get together with my filmer this weekend and make a decent commercial for counterparty. How did you and your filmer get on with making the hard-hitting documentary you mentioned a couple of weeks back? can't wait to see the commercial good work halfcab! I'm guessing you work in the television industry, have you got anything on youtube already you've done? |

UPDATE March 4: Mac & Linux Wallets Released, Genesis Egg Topped Up
Do you remember those investments that we made ~last week? Ducks have a 360 degree vision, and even better hindsight. 48 BTC was sent to bitcoinbuilder.com to get about 90 MtGox bitoins to do EVEN MOAR market support. The goal noble, we wanted to increase the Genesis Egg Funds.
What actually happened though was that it severely decreased IPO funds, as we all know last week mtgox was tarred & feathered. Operation MaxCoin was a success, Operation PandaCoin was not as the developers dumped all of their coins on the IPO investors, so those trades cancelled each other out.
Before you ruffle your feathers, check the Exoducks address, we've since replaced the goxxed Genesis Egg with BTC from personal wallets, all of which will be used to provide liquidity at the exchanges & pay for bounties.
The Mac & Linux wallets are built and working, they will be posted soon.

Thy better post a finalized form of the distribution, IPO and mining and inflation, before they start asking for the funds. I admit Ethereum got potential but the IPO is quite a squeeze for future profits
People are getting more and more generous with their buy-ins, unless they do a week long IPO without marketing can't see this one as a profit maker. Great idea though. |

I've installed python and I'm trying to install all the other dependencies but I just get the error "Python 3.3 needs to be installed, not found in registry" or "Python 3.2 needs to be installed, not found in registry".
I installed fucking python 3.2, 3.3, and 3.3.4. None of this helps.

UPDATE Feb 15: Operation MaxCoin Pump & PandaCoin Blitz has been stealing our thunder. Duck Commander has acquired 25,000 Maxcoins and 65.5 Million PandaCoins For all you newbies just wandering into this thread, the above announcement is what happened to this coin. That banner was proudly displayed on the top of page one shortly after taking all of our money to purportedly launch this coin. So, not only are the developers crooks, they wanted to make sure to rub it in all of our faces exactly how stupid we were to trust them. They were undoubtedly having a big laugh (at our expense, of course) the day they posted that. What might be even more amazing than that is just how stupid these people are. These "investments" were made at the peak of the pump phase of coins that the entire internet said were pump and dump coins. They came in with our money and promptly bought all of the dumpers' coins of two crap coins. Needless to say, both Maxcoin and Pandacoin both have been complete dogs ever since. Maxcoin is down about 60% since February 15 and Pandacoin is lower by about 95%. So. while it might be humiliating to be taken in by the most moronic con men in the crypto world, there is some satisfaction that they themselves have been conned out of their stolen cash. What might be the weirdest part, is their con was better than the one they fell for. All of the crypto community warned anyone who would listen to stay away from those coins -- Pandacoin especially. Yet, the second they stole our money that is what they did with it. It's a case where honesty would have made them more money, but they just couldn't do it. What I wanted to say was, if XCP wins then I'll consider adding it, but if I'm not able to add it or decide not to then I'll post here and all BTC votes would be refunded.

There are surely some extremist groups among Ukrainian protestors but you don't topple a government if you don't have support of people overall. Those extremist groups were just one part of protesting movement, whole Ukrainian people were behind it (and I mean Ukrainian people, not Ukrainian citizens who are putting Russian flags on government buildings in some prorussian areas these days, they don't give a rat about Ukraine anyway, they care about Russia only=
Surely protest were supported by USA and EU but when you give Ukrainians choice of picking West or Russians who ruled them for decades and still want to be the boss in their country, then that's not a big choice for them, they'll pick West any time.
I don't think they were a majority, but even if it was, you'd be surprised at how a bit of propaganda can steer a population, there have been endless coups driven by outside powers, just about any that you can name in recent years have been based on lies.. Iraq, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Venezuala (2002). a recent attempt in Guinea where 4 Israeli's arrested for plotting coup: "According to the intelligence files dated September 13 and quoted by the French newspaper, the mercenaries aimed to provoke the Guinean police and armed forces to hurt citizens in order to incite political unrest in the West African republic ahead of the elections." They've used this same method countless times, you should watch confessions of an economic hitman to get a better idea of how and why. I absolutely agree and it's obvious that this was driven and supported by Western powers, I'm just stating that it's also obvious that Ukrainians would rather turn them self to the West and not to the Russia, and considering their history I think it's fair to support them in that. They are just buying that MTV, Mcdonalds and Rihanna crap... What they dont understand is their Taxes are going to surge as well as unemployment and misery. Plus, making Russia their enemy will have dramatic effects on their energy costs too... Fools.  Totally disagree Rihanna is hot! |
