I think with the development fund as low as it is you should consider setting up a Nigerian voting system. 1 nxt = 1 vote, but jl or cfb can tweak votes within the protocol to suit the means of any rich investors who want to contribute to the development kitty.
782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: January 20, 2014, 09:45:09 PM
1 IP address per vote 1nxt per vote?

Would it be a good idea for someone intelligent to go through the thread history and write a tally of stupid opinions on the voting system versus good opinions on the voting system to try and get an objective opinion on how effective the voting system will be?  Grin
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Counterparty Assets Thread on: January 20, 2014, 08:52:48 PM
Might be some security issues to iron out (like getting robbed at gunpoint) but I suppose getting cash in and out locally could be tied to an asset, redeemable in the same way as local bitcoins .

So if bob wants to purchase $100 in exchange for a crypto from issuer cashlondonbitcoin840to1 (or whatever the format is for issuing assets). Than for him the chain not only works as a way to fund/cash out locally and instantly but also as a central medium for advertising traders in his areas.

Why's there so many Exodus and un-burnt transactions on the blockchain explorer?

Please calm. 250K sent already. 3 million marketing plan has been tentatively approved. As long as results come in, regular 250K payments will be sent. Marketing is simply a cost that needs to be spent. 250K per month is 3 million NXT per year. that seems enough to get a lot more marketing done than before.

All the sausage making can be done at nxtcrypto now. There is funding. This thread will just be there for the progress announcements.

The point is: we want something official. As the price grows, suddenly people become more and more reluctant to spend on the work we do.
I got thanked by BTer for suggesting them to add NXT, they did, price grew 100%, did I get anything in return? NO. People wanted to reward BTER instead Smiley
This community is so ungrateful and selfish that it's painful.

We are sending people to the official bitcoin conferences from our own fucking wallets. Why aren't the NXT fund being spent on this?

Of course I am pissed, I have witnessed this selfish ungratefulness for over a month now and for some fuckedup reason this thread is still seen as the "official" place where these decisions is made, eventhough ALL the PR work are being done by us on the nxt forum. MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE and I am fuckng tired of it

Fair play for sending an email to a shit scam exchange mate, these devs sit on their asses all day doing sweet fuck all when it's people like you that built nxt.

Every community has a idiot like you.
Who the hell has said anything negative about the devs?
How the fuck do you even compare the two things?

We are a team of people (me, salsacz, nifty, justabit and a few more) who have worked hard on NXT marketing and organizing for over a month and we have not been paid shit for it and none of us are stakeholders.
And even the times we have plead with the community to start giving funding to these projects that is the corner stone of succes: we get zero recognition for it.

You must be too dumb to operate a computer safely if you do not understand this, so please log off.

No you're just a skank mate

can you please explain why Bter.com are considered as scams, or post a link, I’m a bit confused now

If you flick through the last 10 pages of their official threads it's just full of unanswered complaints about money going missing, there volumes almost nothing. and the daily withdrawal limit of next is 200 or aprox $10usd!!

Official threads here and a search of Bter.com pulls up nothing but scam complaints as shown below:

Lastly I'd like to congratulate Uniqueorn for sending them an email and it's sickening you're not being compensated for your time.

I've just noticed this at the bottom of Dgex:

Tips: 6471097994069300157

This could be useful for trolls to send tips such as "reduce your fee's you greedy..." via the IM feature.

It's funny the impact this exchange has had on the price, If you look up their official thread on here it's actually quite worrying people are sending money there!!

it is Sunday afternoon in China, right? Price should still go up up Cheesy

Yes if Noon now starts in the morning this is correct.

I don't mean to sound negative, but I can't really see the distributed exchange being successful unless you build a p2p trollbox into the client.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEX :: descendant of NXT on: January 19, 2014, 02:28:32 AM
I want 25% total cap of NEX Grin

Not happening, more than 4 people have already expressed interest.

BRB, creating 100 sock puppets.

Don't bother he'll close this IPO early once he hit's 71, seen this all before.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEX :: descendant of NXT on: January 19, 2014, 02:25:26 AM
This looks like a very interesting project and I look forward to seeing how things turn out, I'd like to become an early adopter but also have a couple of constructive criticisms that I hope you'll take on board in order for this project to succeed.

1) I believe the name NEX should be changed to simply NX, notice in the latter a little bit less photo shop time is needed to copy and change the nxt video's/infomercials, time that you could better spend watching daytime TV with your mum.

2) A lot of critics of this project are saying that you are a degenerate, halfwitted troll with sand in your virgina and are simply starting this project because you have nothing better to do then express your butthurt at not getting in on Nxt a couple of months ago. What about setting aside some of the coins to pay for a decent PR guy that can steer us away from such claims?

3) BBB, Bullshit Baffles Brains. As you don't have the technological capability to even copy source parts of NXT let alone fulfill any of the features why limit the dream. Could you please add to the List of features in the op ABT (autonomous business thing) and AIC (artificially intelligent chain). We can let the PR guy's explain these features later but should attract a bit more interest.

lol! whats your problem mate? cloning is part of being an open source community. if a coin cant handle that its being cloned then it shouldnt be there in the first place.

not problem

Did you not read the original post?  The part on the improvements to NXT?

Skimmed the first paragraph

Is this serious or satirically mocking ridiculous IPO's?

OP I need a new logo for a new business I'm starting, how much do you charge for your graphic design work?
799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [[ANN]] Action required to save NXT on: January 17, 2014, 09:31:27 PM
There seems to be an issue where BCnext abruptly stopped the IPO and released them to the market at a much higher price. CFB claims he is as much in dark about it (CFB and some investor td... has been fighting all over the forums about this). If it turns out that they indeed are they same person then that potentially makes him very dodgy to say the least.

No, I'm a very different person, though CFB and I actually would agree on a lot of things like PoS vs PoW mining - too bad the NXT presale issue has come between us.

I'm not sure how to verify I'm a different person than CFB on the forum, but I'm open to suggestions if there is interest.

By they I meant CFB and BCnext - not you and CFB.

td services is BCNext aka comefrombeyond aka haventustartedtoputthepiecesofthispuzzletogetheryet

Did you write this part of your argument joking or are you really this dumb? (hint I've already asked you this same question about 13 minutes ago lol)

The first posting of "Nxt's founder", known as BCNext, is on September 28, 2013 at 07:29:09 AM (UTC+2) where he announces the Nxt idea.

Only SIX minutes later, he posts the following:
