1421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [FINAL] FIFA Club World Cup; Manchester City vs Fluminense on: December 22, 2023, 08:43:26 PM
I did not expect a such destructive Manchester City as they won 4-0 which shows the absolute superiority against the Brazilian team of Fluminense,of course Fluminense is not in a good position in this year and this also impacted the game.I remember other times when even stronger teams than City like glorious Milan at the their peak of gold times having difficulties to win against Sao Paulo from Brazil or other South American teams like Boca Juniors or River Plate.

Things have changed now and they were crowned World Club Champions at the Jewel Stadium and they fully deserved it,there is no more else to say regarding this matter.
Manchester City were on rampant in their FIFA Club World Cup today against Brazilian club Fluminense. The European champions did not in any way give their opponents a chance to come back in the game as they delivered a clinical performance against the South American champions. Fluminense who has former Real Madrid star Marcelo did their best but it wasn't enough to stop a Manchester City team that was playing in their full strength.

Since the history of the FIFA Club World Cup began, the final has been played more by European and Brazilian clubs but unlike what we used to see in the past, Manchester City had little worries in that game. Corinthians in the 2012 edition defeated the then European champions Chelsea by a lone goal in the final but that wasn't the case today as Manchester City cruised to easy win

It's natural that Leverkusen is able to beat Bochum in this match with a big score, after all, the two teams have inversely proportional performances. Leverkusen with 13 wins they achieved, 3 draws, no defeats in the 16 matches presented in the Bundesliga. while Bochum, only has 3 wins, 7 draws and 6 defeats from 16 matches. It is clear that these two teams have different gaps. apart from playing at the BayArena, Leverkusen's own headquarters. Xabi Alonso's squad is in a positive trend.
Yes, it cannot be denied that basically there are significant differences between Leverkusen and Bochum from various sides. And in the end, Leverkusen also did not waste this opportunity to optimize their results. With a final score of 4-0, Leverkusen really stayed longer in first place, on the other hand, they also had to try to get more goals so that they were not easily overtaken by their main competitor, namely Bayern Munich.
Xabis team is not one that Bochum could be able to withstand, not in this season, if it were to be some time last season maybe they would have been able to probably get a goal from Leverkusen but now Leverkusen is in their best form they have ever attained in a very long time and it's such that no team in Germany can be able to win them easily.

The 4-0 win Leverkusen got over Bochum was well deserving as they not only won but aswell did performed so we'll to get all  the goals. I taught that they could in the second half get a goal but Bochum couldn't get a goal in both halves and Leverkusen won both halves of the game. Currently I believe so much in the abilities Leverkusen posseses so much that I can say they will be able to defeat Bayern Munich if the meet again in recent times, Bochum isn't a team that matches Leverkusen in any way but Munich ad Stuttgart to an extent.
I don't think there's anyone who watched that Bayer Leverkusen game against Bochum that'll argue the fact that the Bayer Leverkusen were the best team in the pitch. Bayer Leverkusen has been the most consistent team in the German Bundesliga since the start of the season and aren't showing any sign of slowing down anytime soon and if they can keep up with their current performance till the end of the season, o think they're surely gonna end the season as the German champions.

Bayern Munich who are undoubtedly the strongest team in the league in terms of quality players have also been trying to catch up with Leverkusen and that has made the league very entertaining than it used to be. Thomas Tuchel is one manager that can never give on title chase so I believe the two top German Bundesliga teams are surely gonna fight for that league title till the end of the season.

For Manchester United this is another big and important game and I think this is especially true for ten Hag. If he wins it, he will again manage to stay close to the qualifiers for the UEFA competitions, but if he loses he will drop further. Against one of the closest competitors in the league now another loss would be devastating and could trigger the bosses to make some decision before this year ends.
The UEFA Champions League have become the main ultimate target of every elite clubs in these European leagues. Manchester United will face Westham United this weekend, who's wining? Remember the Hammers got humiliated 5-1 from Liverpool and I see everything wrong to watch pure defeats coming on the track of Manchester United. I hope Erik Ten Hag is planning solid position to ensure his side is base on winning every matches that crossed their path because the fans can't stand to watch the Red Devils lose another game.
Considering the recent results of Manchester United, I don't think the club can afford to lose more matches in the English Premier League. Like I said before, I think the manager of the club Erik Ten Hag is absolutely lucky to still remain as the manager of the club after they were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League competition during the group stage in a group that contained teams like Copenhagen, Galatasaray and European giants Bayern Munich.

Manchester United play against West Ham this weekend and in their quest to finish the season in the top four of the league table, they'll definitely do anything possible to win that game. West Ham have been impressive this season and I won't be surprised to see them defeat Manchester United in that game. So I think it'll be a very difficult game for both teams but I'll go for a Manchester United win or draw
1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 21, 2023, 11:42:20 PM
I think there is no point in making a bid yet as both sides are waiting to see how Osimhen develops over the coming months. Napoli is of course hoping that he will soon continue to score all the time and that would give them a better position for any negotiations. But who knows, maybe some clubs have their eyes on him and wouldn't be sad if he doesn't do too well until they can come up with a smaller offer than what was initially asked as a transfer fee. But the question is whether Osimhen is good enough to strengthen a top team. I don't know. He is a good striker, but is he world class?

How many strikers are better than Osimhen in Europe presently? Harry Kane, Halland, and Mbappe (if you'd include him as a striker) are the strikers that are above Osimhen in Europe. So how do you want a striker to perform before he can be rated world-class?
Osimhen in a top team will score goals the same way he's scoring at Napoli as far as the chances the chances are provided.
Where he might have a problem is going to a team that struggles to create chances.

Any team that wants to sign Osimhen should start bidding now. He's going to be among the hot players in the market this summer and a team that doesn't prepare won't be able to sign him.
Anyone who's followed the development of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen over the years I don't think should in any way be doubting the scoring capability of the Nigeria international. For a fact, he scored more goals at this stage of the campaign last season than than he has managed to score this season but that doesn't mean that clubs are trying to wait a little longer before they can officially table their offer for him because they're trying to know of he's just a one-season star player.

In recent weeks, Victor Osimhen has been very productive for his Napoli team and his performance in the club's last game was so impressive that many who thought he was up to the media hypes he receives to have a rethink. Osimhen is a great player and would always be and will definitely get huge offers in next summer transfer window
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 21, 2023, 11:35:01 PM

Yes but Roma is almost used to struggling so to say and last season they have been struggling as well and yet they made it into the final of the Europa League with their ugly strategy. Their game is not about being good, but about making everything about the game bad, it is the Mourinho strategy and that makes their opponents lose patience sometimes

Roma was better last season than they are this season. I don't see them winning anything this season, even with Mourinho. I know having Mourinho is a big factor that can help a team win trophies but this time around, Roma is not convincing in any way at all.

You can't call Roma against Feyernoord underdogs. Feyernoord is plays better as in better form but they're both on the same level. I believe it's a 50/50 match, but Feyernoord has the upper hand. Roma is not going to be easy for the biggest teams in Europe, not to talk of Feyernoord. Mourinho is an experienced coach and knows how to win these type of games, but I doubt he will win this one though.
There's no doubt to the fact that Roma were better last season than they've been since the start of the week but I also do think that since they're managed by the same  Jose Mourinho, there's every possible that they can still finish the season better than they did last see season.

Considering the quality of the teams that played in the UEFA Europa League competition last season, Roma were not one of the first three favorites to reach the final of the competition but they managed to reach the final before they were beaten by Sevilla. They play against Feyernoord in the round of 32 and there's no way Roma will be regarded as the underdogs of that tie. I think they have a pretty chance of eliminating the Dutch club when the Europa League returns in February.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 21, 2023, 05:02:24 PM
Bologna are playing really well at the moment, but I think Inter just decided not to fight in the Cup. Just like Napoli, only Napoli did it blatantly. Now top clubs have other tasks in domestic leagues and Champions League. So they don't need the extra pressure.
Extra pressure is not needed by the top teams at this time because on the one hand they also want to protect their players for the more crucial matches this season. But in general, all teams will definitely not ignore their wins against any team because every win will always result in more points and make them stronger in the top position. We can see an example in the Bologna team who are currently in the top four of the standings thanks to their own determination in winning the match.
Inter Milan have undoubtedly been the most consistent Italian team both in the Italian Serie A and in the UEFA Champions League competition since the start of the season but with their performance against Bologna in their Coppa Italia game yesterday at the San Siro, I think Simone Inzaghi's team are probably not interested in the Italian league cup trophy this season.

Though it's absolutely possible for them to win the UEFA Champions League, Italian Serie A and the Coppa Italia just like they did in 2009/10 season but I think they've decided to focus more on the UEFA Champions League and the Italian Serie A as it'll be more energy consuming for them to want to win the three competitions.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: December 21, 2023, 04:53:35 PM
Al Nassr's defeat to Al Hilal earlier this month changed the equations upside down. Till then the gap between these two teams were not that much. But now Al Hilal has 47 points and Al Nassr is 10 points behind. A convincing win against Al Riyadh after this match did little to close the gap any further. As of now there is simply no competition for Al Hilal. We are almost half-way through and it is almost certain that they will be the champions for this year. The inclusion of Aleksandar Mitrović has worked wonders for them.
Yes the points gap between these two clubs is quite far adrift, and it will take at least 4 matches that Al Hilal must have a bad result to get Al Nassr close to them. But the thing is Al Hilal are a very difficult club to beat and to date no club has been able to beat them in the SPL. Al Nassr who are their closest competitors must also suffer defeat when they meet Al Hilal.
Al Hilal have played 17 matches and they only lost 4 points from those 17 matches because in 2 matches they had to draw. Although they suffered 2 draws, it did not affect them much because their competitors lost more points. Al Nassr still have 1 match ahead and if they can win at least their gap changes to 7 points.
Before the Al Nassr were humiliated at Al Hilal earlier this month, they were just four points behind the league league leaders but after that defeat, they went further behind with seven points and after Al Hilal's recent win, Al Nassr are now 10 points behind the league leaders but have played one game less than Al Hilal.

The fight for who wins the Saudi Pro League title at the end of the season I think isn't yet over because there's at a lot of games to play and there's still a possibility that the league leaders can have few bad results that'll give Al Nassr to chance to catch up with them. That been said, if Al Hilal can continue with their current performance till the end of the season, then Al Nassr will need a miracle to stop them from winning the league title.

Aston Villa has the opportunity to be the luckiest team in week 18, because Unai Emery squad could have the opportunity to lead the top of the standings if Liverpool draw against Arsenal on Sunday. But of course this can only be realized if they succeed in beating Sheffield United first. As an illustration, Sheffield United is only the bottom team in the current standings, I think Aston Villa will be able to secure full points.

Sheffield United was only able to secure 8 points and just like Burnley, their struggle to get out of the degradation zone was quite tough. Aston Villa, as we see today, appears impressive and surpasses Man City performance. I think this is a good opportunity for Emery squad, and must be utilized perfectly.

On paper, there is nothing that can be expected from Sheffield United to be able to thwart Aston Villa steps, they need a miracle and great luck to become a stumbling block. Moreover, I think Sheffield United will be degradation next season, because they are having difficulty collecting points, even by playing a draw.
Oh yes, I just realized this and indeed after seeing the schedule this week Aston Villa has the opportunity to feel the top of the standings with Liverpool and Arsenal having to draw, and they must win the match this week.
I think it will be an easy match for Aston Villa when hosting Sheffield United. Their difference is very significant and if Aston Villa do not win this match then it will be very disappointing. They can't afford to miss this good opportunity, because they are ahead in every way and their advantage is that they will also be the hosts.
Aston Villa are in a very good state right now, whereas the opponent they will face is not a reliable club.
Considering the performance of the top three teams in the English Premier League table, I think the match week 18 favours Aston Villa to go top of the league standings. Liverpool and Arsenal has been the most consistent team in the league since the start of the season and will both meet each other this weekend at Anfield. Bookies are backing the home team to win that particular encounter but judging by the impressive performance of the away team, it'll be very difficult to for Liverpool to beat Mikel Arteta's Arsenal. So if they end up playing out a draw, a home win for Aston Villa against Sheffield United at the Villa Park tomorrow will be enough to see the Villans climb to the submit of the league standings.

Sheffield United is one English Premier League club that shouldn't be underrated as we've seen them deliver surprising results this season but against a Villa side that's been more impressive than them this season, I don't think they're gonna get a result in that game.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: December 21, 2023, 04:30:36 PM
It took a process for Luis Enrique to bring PSG into a team that can be reckoned with, but if management doesn't give him time then I'm sure it will be quite difficult to achieve. The owner of PSG has a lot of money and in fact we are worried that if Luis Enrique fails to deliver a title in his first season he will be fired. So the long-term target of making PSG become one of the best clubs will not be achieved because usually clubs that have a lot of money like to replace coaches if they fail to win the title.
PSG raised many doubtful questions in early of season but match by match, they slowly improved and now on the league table, they stand at a first position with 5 points more than Nice. It is a big gap if we take into consideration strength of PSG and their usual domination in Ligue 1. They are back and clubs like Nice from now will have to chase PSG and it is a hopeless task for them. They lost best time to sink PSG down on the table and the giant is back, to dominate the league again.

Quote
Star players like Mbappe are indeed needed in the team, but it is much more important when players can show their collective ability together not individually. That is what Pep Guardiola built at Barcelona and Manchester City so that he could bring success to the two clubs he coached, Luis Enrique needs to emulate that attitude and try to implement it into his team.
Mbappe is important with PSG is a fact but PSG slowly learned that they need more than a super star player to succeed. A squad with good team-working can be stronger than a club that solely relies on a single super star player.

They let some star players go, brought some new ones in and they are not too famous players but they can contribute good team-working efforts for the team. This can help them succeed in a long run but they still actually need a player like Mbappe.
Though there are football managers who takes up the managerial role of a certain club and immediately starts to get good results while there are others who needs some time to fully understand the best approach that'll suit his team and that's where Paris Saint Germaine manager Luis Enrique falls in to if you ask me. PSG as we all know is a star studded team but when Luis Enrique took the coaching job of the club, they didn't start the season on a good note as they dropped some points in the beginning of the season but after few games where played, they bounced back to winning ways again and are currently at the top of the league standings.

I don't think that there's any doubt to the fact that Kylian Mbappe is Paris Saint Germaine's most important player at the moment. He's lived up to expectations of the club management and fans since the start of the season abd us currently the leading scorer in the league with18 goals and 2 assists in 16 French Ligue 1 games. Hopefully, he's gonna help his team retain the league title and probably win the UEFA Champions League title this season which I think will be more difficult.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: December 21, 2023, 04:19:58 PM
It depends on a person's mental state, if they are lonely and gamble, they are not 100% addicted to gambling, it's just because of the frustration they experience and don't know where to calm themselves, even when they gamble, it's not just winning or losing, it could be an outburst. their emotions, usually people like this will recover after they have a calmer mind
Yes, you are right, this really depends on a person's personality, if they are lonely and they gamble and continue to do it without being able to control themselves, of course this will make them addicted and those who cannot control their emotions when gambling are played, of course this will happen. will have a bad impact on their lives and what is even worse is when they become addicted and also harm the people around them.
I don't believe that gambling addiction depends on the personality of the individual. Rather, it is about how a lonely person may turn to gambling as a means of distracting themselves from their loneliness. People who feel lonely will often search for activities to occupy their time or to forget about their loneliness. This is similar to how someone may turn to drinking alcohol as a way to be honest with themselves while alone and dealing with loneliness.
In as much as we all know that lonely people will always want to engage themselves with activities that'll keep them busy and probably entertained whenever they're lonely, it's also worthy to note that gambling isn't the only activity that anyone who's lonely can get engaged with.
There are many activities that an individual can engage himself with in his lonely moments like online gamings, watching movies and so many other things. So for an individual to become a gambling addict as a result of loneliness, it surely means that such person is already used to gambling and therefore sees it as an avenue to engage himself whenever he's lonely.

Gambling is best practiced when it's been done for fun and not as a means for keeping a lonely person busy because when an individual gambles because he's lonely, he's very likely to end up as a gambling addict which will definitely affect the person's future

One player who can stay at one club for the duration of his career is Thomas Muller, he is so loyal to Bayern Munich. Now he is set to remain at the club after extending his contract.
He is a player who contributes to the team, although he doesn't always score many goals each season, but his presence is felt during the game.
One of the reasons why he is so at home at Bayern Munich in my opinion is because at Bayern Munich the chances of getting the title are so high and we can see it now when Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga in a row for more than a decade. No one can break their dominance during that time.
Thomas Muller is very good player for Bayern Munich and in my opinion I think he should continue to play their and retire as a legend at Bayern Munich, Muller might be getting older but he's still good at the ball and has lots of experience to offer to the team, and I'm quite sure alot of younger teammates would be looking up to him as a role model, based on his loyalty and good record in the club.

It's a good thing Muller extended his carrier with Bayern Munich, cause the chances of him retiring as a legend in the club could become a reality, also I think Manchester United would had made a silly mistake in try to get him, despite the fact that he's a good player, I don't think he'll blend into United's style of play and the fact that he's not younger should've even discouraged them from getting him
Yes I think so too, he will retire with Bayern Munich and Bayern Munich themselves will certainly be in the middle of it. For a few seasons, there weren't many rumors about him moving on or any clubs really interested in signing him. Even if there was it was just a rumor that in the end we never saw the transfer actually take place.
He's very comfortable at this club, in fact I've never heard of him having any problems, be it with fellow players, with the coach or with the club management. That proves he has a good attitude and can be mature enough to control himself.
You are right, even if Manchetser United can get this player it is not certain that he can play like at Bayern Munich, especially with the problems that always come to Manchester United that in my opinion will make him uncomfortable.
Thomas Muller is currently 34 years of age but looks somehow older than his physical looks who I believe is a natural to some people. He's already considered as a legend in Bayern Munich and I don't think he's fit enough to make any big move to a big European club at the moment. When Muller was younger, he had received a lot of offers from numerous football clubs across Europe Manchester United included but the former German international never considered leaving Bayern Munich and that's why I don't think he'll be leaving now. Of there's any possibility of seeing Muller leave Bayern Munich, then I think it'll be to one of the Saudi Arabian clubs or maybe a Major League Soccer club.

At his current age and performance, it'll be absolutely unwise for Manchester United to sign a footballer like Thomas Muller.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: December 21, 2023, 02:35:54 PM
Real Betis vs Girona it will going to be a tough match but Real Betis will be the team that will embrace victory from the match, because they know how to use some strange tactics in their home to defeat their opponent which will be one of the advantage they will apply to defeat Girona in this match. I know Girona has done well in this season to handle the first position in two matches for the victory they got from other teams but it will not be easy for them in this match to succeed again because Real Betis players will not allow such thing to happen than to disgrace them with 2-0 for the favour of Real Betis.
Real Betis have a tough challenge after the arrival of guests who have performed well this season, but the challenge is not only on the side of Real Betis, but Girona will also get the same pressure as Real Betis. Real Betis themselves are a difficult team to beat, they have only tasted 2 defeats in La Liga, with 9 draws and 6 wins. Of course this will be a challenge for Girona to be able to steal full points from Real Betis headquarters. It looks like this match will run very interesting.

It seems like Real Betis refuses to lose from their last five matches, only one win, the rest were just draws, good enough for Real Betis class in their ambition to beat Girona tomorrow because Real Betis is very profitable in this match, playing at home looks like Real Betis will have the ambition to beat Girona for the first time in several matches. Girona is very difficult to beat in several matches, many big clubs have fallen victim to Girona's ferocity, hopefully Real Betis will be able to defeat Girona for the first time.
Real Betis have been able to accumulate 27 points in 17 Spanish La Liga games this season and are currently sitting in the 7th position of the league table and that k think goes a long way to tell how good of a side they've been all season but considering how more impressive their tonight's Spanish league opponents Girona have been since the start of the season, I think it'll be very difficult for the home team to get a point from the game.

Girona have undoubtedly been the most consistent team in the Spanish La Liga since the start of the season and how they've managed to maintain their good results in the league makes it even more difficult for their opponents to have a chance of defeating them. After Real Madrid thrashed Villarreal on Sunday and went top of the league table, the pressure was Girona to win their game against Alaves to return back to submit of the league table and they did that in clinical fashion. I think the worst result that Girona will be having in the game against Real Betis will be a draw.

I think there's no need to discuss about Barcelona vs Napoli and Arsenal vs FC Porto, it's a sure win for both Barcelona and Arsenal, Napoli and FC Porto aren't that good compared to last season.

C'mon bro, you're not new to football. You can't really believe a sure win is possible in a competition like this. This is the champions league where anything is possible. We've seen giants of the game get knocked out my unexpected teams.
I can partially agree with Arsenal definitely knocking out Porto because Arsenal is in a good form and Porto are really bad currently, but Barcelona and Napoli are on equal form if you look at it more closely. Barcelona have been horrible, probably worst than Napoli who have also been bad. So saying it's a sure win for Barcelona is not true to me. Barcelona has a upper hand, but ist not a sure win.

You must also remember that they matches would be player in February next year, that relatively a long time from now. Teams can loose form or gain from during this period. Players can get injured and coaches can be changed and make the team better within this period.
Barcelona and Arsenal are favorites, but you can't be a hundred percent certain that they'll win.

We all know that when big teams are playing against smaller teams especially in the knockout UEFA Champions League competition, it's always rare to smaller teams eliminate the bigger teams but I think there are exceptions to that popular belief. The Arsenal vs Porto and Barcelona vs Napoli round of 16 ties I don't think are easy games that that can be easily predicted.

Arsenal we know have been impressive since the start of the season but when it comes to the UCL, Porto is a more successful club than Arsenal as they've won the competition before now. So you don't expect a former winner of the competition to be easily beaten. Porto understand how the UEFA Champions League competition is played and would definitely want to make a statement in their tie against Arsenal. Just like bookmakers, I'm backing Arsenal to progress but I expect the two-legged games to be a difficult one for both sides

Barcelona are the reigning champions of Spain and so are their Italian round of 16 opponent Napoli are the reigning champions of Italy and both teams have not been performing like that they did last season in their respective leagues. However, since Napoli sacked their former manager Rudi Garcia and hired the current manager Walter Mazzarri, they've improved their performance both in the league and in their final group stage game and that's why I don't expect Barcelona to easily eliminate Napoli in the round of 16.

Bookmakers favour Brighton, but still the odds for their win are very big - 2,3... I don't know if Crystal Palace can win, Brighton are playing well now and if they win they will be close to Newcastle... Crystal Palace have no danger of getting into the relegation zone yet... But they need to pick up points too... I think it could be a draw...
Of course Brighton should be the favorites in this match. Even though in the previous match, Brighton lost to Arsenal and Crystal Palace was able to hold Man City to a draw, in fact, Brighton could be said to be superior in several ways to Crystal Palace. Maybe at least 2-1 for Brighton's victory. But of course, this will not go easily. as you said, on the other hand, Crystal Palace must must have more points so as not to be too close to the relegation zone. and this is quite difficult to do and has many challenges.
Why do you think that Brighton is more favoured to win the match between them and Crystal palace? Do not forget that Palace is in a better moral than Brighton because of the draw they played with Manchester city. Apart from that, crystal palace has been in the English premier League for years before Brighton arrived, so it is ok to say that Palace is more experience.

There could be an opportunity for Aston Villa to take the lead in the standings by this week. Because while Liverpool are hosting Arsenal in a really challenging game Aston Villa have a very comfortable home game against Sheffield Utd. I expect a really easy win for Aston Villa considering how much they are in form these days. Nothing below is acceptable for them now.

Som people are busy underrating Aston Villa but this week meeting will say many things. If Liverpool and Arsenal settles with 1 point each, and Aston villa fortunately overtakes them, it will just mean that there's no hope for Manchester city in this season English premier League.
1435  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you regret also for ever knowing about gambling? on: December 21, 2023, 10:09:19 AM
The common answers will be decided by the outcome of their gambling escapades. The majority of individuals will immediately respond with a no, but this is simply because they understand gambling is entertainment. But anybody who always loses money and cannot stop himself from spending over his budget is regrettable. Gambling has to be done in a correct manner because excessive can lead to addiction and can ruin lives. Gambling is very much like wine, it tastes great and has health benefits, but we cannot overdrink.
I really like your analogy of relating gambling to a wine. whenever anyone sips wine and take break for a longer time and later comes to sip again, they will keep enjoying the rest of the wine, but if anyone because of the sweetness of the wine continues to drink every minute of the day, they will become drunk and eventually addicted to the wine. Anyone who takes gambling as an entertainment will only gamble occasionally and they will not regret knowing about gambling. But anyone who sees gambling as a real or an ultimate source of income will gamble everyday whether they win or lose. This habit will only make the gambler regret of knowing about gambling and eventually becomes addicted.

How will you feel if someone you know or just a friend of a friend walk up to you and ask you to finance them in gambling in exchange for a portion of their winnings? Does this even make any sense?

Because the only place this makes a bit sense is the skills base niche like forex trading or crypto trading, how can gambling/gambler be financed?

Have you heard of such before? What is the end result if you have?

Why would you trust anyone to gamble better than you can when it's all about luck?

Is anyone doing this on here?

Someone explained this to me, and I believe he is already a victim because to me it doesn't make sense, I believe he is been used because he lacks knowledge about gambling, do you think my judgment is wrong?

I am not surprised to hear something about financing a gambler. There are many things that are yet unknown to me in the gambling industry and as you read and research the gambling industry you will hear of many things and some of them are totally strange. As op has said we have seen people that collect money from others and trade forex for cryptocurrency and the end of the day they reward them with profit. But this system is not guaranteed in gambling because gambling is  prohibited in some countries.
Apart from what I have said above. It can also be seen that you that is financing a gambler can be a culprit if the gambler eventually turns to be a gambling addict.

Truthfully, the disdain that comes with loosing on a bet that you have been warned about is what births this false claims of winning even when there is nothing to prove.
Maybe its even necessary to keep the wins to one's self whenever it is the case. I see no need to want to prove a point when you actually responsible for the outcome of whatever investment you have with your funds.
I also do not see any reason that a gambler will claim that he has made some winning while there was no winning. It does not actually make sense. This is because the money that a gambler is losing belongs to the gambler and if he eventually wins, it also belong to him. There is no need making up stories or telling lies in order to appear like you have made a constant winning while in the real sense you have not made any winning.

I do not also understand why people allow what others say to bother them much. Nowadays, people live their life to suit the wish of the people. They pattern their life with the trend on social media or whatsoever. This will make them make some decisions that are not desirable. A gambler is just like a bitcoin investor. Keep your losses and profits to yourself in order to remain calm and coordinated in decision making and for security reasons.

Arsenal where able to defeat Manchester City in front of their own fans at the Emirates stadium. Liverpool has that same advantage in this game. They have a more experienced coach compared to that of Arsenal. Liverpool has more experience when it comes to battling for the league. There is every possibility that a draw could happen in this game, but I am backing Liverpool to get the maximum points.
Currently there are three teams in the top standings whose points are quite close and even almost the same as those of Liverpool and Aston Villa. This means that everyone also has to pay attention to the Aston Villa team apart from the Arsenal and Liverpool teams, who this week will meet in a match at Liverpool's home ground. Meanwhile, Aston Villa will meet the bottom team in the Premier League at home so the potential to win the match will be much greater for Aston Villa and it will certainly be quite profitable for Aston Villa if the Liverpool vs Arsenal match ends in a draw.
There is one thing in football and that is the inability of the fans to reorganise a very good team that has not been performing great in the past Seasons. They do not recognise one season wonder team because it appears to them that they will not be able to keep the pressure till the end of the season. I can remember years ago when Leicester city was playing good football, but no one saw it that they will win the league. If you check you will nderstand that people are not paying much attention to Girona because they have not done it before, just keep mute and see how Aston Villa and Girona will surprise everyone in the English Premier League and laliga respectively.

I'm not very comfortable with Barcelona about their draw honestly. Napoli are going to be a really big challenge for them.
Absolutely; it is a 50-50 game because there are no favorites in this match and it can go anyway. Barcelona finished top of their group, so they would be gutted to have drawn a strong opposition in Napoli, but good thing for them is that they get to play the second leg at home. Xavi was unsuccessful in taking his team out of the CL group stages last season, but now they have broken that barrier and they can take that as a success; now the goal is to take it a step further. I know there is currently no chance of Barca winning the CL this season, but if they can make it to the QF, then it is a step forward for the club considering their present situation.
If Barcelona is really determined to make a strong wave in this season's Champions League. I do not think that Napoli will be a very big of a problem to them. This is because the Napoli of last season is not the same as the Napoli we have this season. They have dropped inform since after their last season coach left them. So Barcelona has a very big chance to handle Napoli.

But they should not feel relaxed in the match because Napoli still has someone like Victor who can make a wonderful goal or an assist within a twinkle of an eye. But considering that Barcelona under Xavi has been having a terrible experience in the champions league even when they are in better form, I will not be surprised if they are eliminated now they aren't in strong form.

As reported months ago, Toney’s preference has always been the Arsenal move. Arsenal are interested, but only if the right deal can be struck. Club still 100% want Osimhen in the summer as a priority, they won’t sacrifice that move and overpay for Toney.
I think this would be a good signing for Arsenal by january. This way Mikel Arteta can play him directly as a goal poacher or sometimes pair him Gabreil Jesus to force the attack. This is what Arsenal needs right now soneone who  once he sees the goal post all he thinks is shoot. Someone like Osimehn is prrfect also. Arsenal has their eye on the young talent but Napoli is not ready to give him away yet.
If Arsenal want to sign a new striker, they should rather go for a world-class striker instead of having the replica of what they already have. What do I mean by this is that Toney is not better than Gabriel Jesus and also Toney is not that better than Nekita. The only difference is that I love striker that has body like that of Tony because they use it to intimidate the defence most times and score some undeserving goals. You can take example from the match between Newcastle United and Chelsea f.c. You can see how the Newcastle striker - Wilson used his body to intimidate the defender who made a mistake and scored a goal. That is the kind of body work that Toney will bring to Arsenal but that is not so much outstanding for a club like Arsenal if they want to make a bigger offer.
