121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 14, 2020, 05:04:07 PM
How about another crazy scenario: Messi leaving Barcelona for Man City (https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/man-city-transfer-rumours-messi-19276998) and Rolando somehow joining United? These are rumors, and they still sound far fetched but in the rare case it happens, Premier League gets hurled into the center of the football stage with more Rolando vs Messi battles  Shocked
The rumor has been exist for quiet a while.
Since messi ask to trigger the clause to release him , he's been linked to manchester city becuse of the pep gurdiola relation
I am sure if messi will leave barcelona , Manchester City will be the first destination to talk about , you know it is always about money right?
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 14, 2020, 11:28:49 AM
To minimize losing, you need to check your balance all the time. Have a plan how much you will be spending most of the time you go online with sportsbetting.

Control and don't violate the plan you've made.

I also lose in sportsbetting but it isn't that much but I do win too.
Disciplined.
That is the one and only the most important instrument to win you a real cash in the long run.
Often happened to you when actually you were only hit by small lost , but you decide to go hunt after it and it is become a snowball you cannot stop it.
Then you lost it all.
And when you take a look back on whats going on that time , you will see how stupid you are.
If only you r disciplined and patient to wait. This type of mistakes will never happened.
123  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 14, 2020, 10:56:41 AM
If it follows the cycle that after every halving the price pumps, then why confuse yourself. The low supply of BTC is just not enough to feed the demands which are why traders are buying the coin for a high price.

The money is also flowing as governments printing more and more to provide to stimulate the economy.  Looking forward to the future, cryptocurrency will be the option that is why more investors coming through the influence of institutional investors like MicroStrategy.
You cannot really take a single factor as your main reason why bitcoin price is so bullish.
You got it right.
So you can expect a mainstream merchants will start using crypto to pay things out like in walmart or something?
I wish you r right. That is the dream for everybody here. To use crypto and your neighbors see it as a normal thing , no more wondering.
Getting close to  mainstream world , this pushes bitcoin price to grow right?
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 14, 2020, 10:30:06 AM
Chelsea are a good team but I make them 3rd or even 4th favourites to win the league. It’s not impossible for Chelsea to become champions but a little unlikely.

Edit - Salah has Covid - https://twitter.com/livecholfc/status/1327268134147899395?s=21

This season is a joke.
In a situation where countries all over the world are reporting record-breaking numbers of new Covid19 cases, maybe travelling all around the world for these kind of national games is probably not the best thing to do ... I am sure Salah won't be the only one coming home with an infection. These national games are the perfect spot to spread the virus. Players from many different teams, from different countries come together, some probably from places that don't have these strict hygiene rules. No wonder that you have a high risk of getting the virus there.
But it is a compulsory match to play in this national event. Many are also worried about this, therefore the spread will continue to widen seeing so many cases in various regions especially in the simultaneous qualification that the possibility of the league players will return for those who are called by the national team. but I hope that in this situation they apply it so strictly that when they return to the league nobody gets infected under any circumstances.
Life must go on
If we remain doing nothing like to ban every single international matches until everything fully recovered back to normal which it has no specific time when this mad covid will stop hitting our world , the matches will stopped forever.
All of those policies to let all the international matches to run i believe it is the best choice , those stakeholders taking that decisions with reasons.
It is normal to be angry to see your key player like salah tested positive for covid19 because of the international travel and have to missed important matches in the premier league , it happens to everybody.
This is a wild world now.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any relation between market dump and Biden's win? on: November 13, 2020, 11:43:09 PM
Do you see that guys, the price of cryptocurrencies are in red since Joe Biden crosses the required number of place to become president?

Almost every crypto is in red at the hourly candle and what's your opinion with the dump caused especially after such news?

Market shows that it doesn't really need any external events for its price to be affected.Look at we now? We do even hit 16k and somewhat stabilizing.

This proves out that it is totally independent and cant really be affected by other events outside. This should be put up in mind specially to those who are relying too much on fundamentals.

We don't know on when dump will happen but for sure we would really be having some correction.
My guess is that there some people cashing out the winning bet right after it gets settled.
So the effect works temporary only on that day that time and the rest of it is back tot the bull run, the market is restored by now even higher than before.
So no specific effect. Only a shock therapy.
Lets continue to talk about bullish stuff.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to "gamble" with ponzi scheme crypto scam services? on: November 13, 2020, 11:00:13 PM
I think I do not need to explain what I mean by ponzi crypto scam. Every week I see at least ten new ponzi scheme scams.

They often offer something like 100% interest per 24h (or something similar). They commonly run for quite a few weeks (or months sometimes) before "they go scam" publicly. The obvious idea how to exploit them is to invest something small at the first day, withdraw it as fast as possible and repeat just with the interests from the previous bet (and of course take some money away from every successful round).

Has anyone tried that? Have you been successful? Is this kind of gambling popular/common. Has it name?

Not so far and I believe this is not appropriate since I only have some few amount when I wanna gamble
so risking this in Ponzi sites is not  my first option.

And I think why need to try when there is a surely scam waiting for you?

Is this sounds like Giving your Money to Robber even without them asking you?
Lol
Bad idea, bad bad very bad idea. How can someone willing to get scammed voluntarily ?
It is so hilarious when you see someone in 2020 still wanna risking something for a guaranteed a total loss.
The title itself show it all , gamble combined with scam service , is there any other thing worse than this to make money?
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin get an insurance? on: November 13, 2020, 10:46:43 PM
bitcoin and other crypto assets cannot be insured.  bitcoin is not a real thing, bitcoin is digital.  that's a funny statement.  Besides that, the nature of bitcoin is not insurance but bitcoin is very risky.  the consequence of crypto users is profit or loss.  and if you lose, bitcoin cannot be insured.  and don't think about insurance, but you have to think of the best way to get big profits.

But if you will store your bitcoin for example in a crypto exchange, like Binance.
They have what you call SAFU  - https://academy.binance.com/en/glossary/secure-asset-fund-for-users.
This will secure your assets on their platform. So this is one option to get insurance of your bitcoin, to store your funds with them.
Otherwise, if it is in your wallet, you are in control of that funds and definitely, no insurance involved.
I dont think that binance SAFU could be considered as what op intended called as "an insurance"
Lets say it is an insurance , but what makes us as user in binance can get an insurance that they will not run to exit scam ? Nothing can guarantee that right? So this will get more complicated then i guess.
The decentralized nature itself makes noboby but you has a special privilege to interupt, to get access to your bitcoin in case something unexpected bad happened and your value in bitcoin expected to be safe , it is a little bit contradictive to me.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: November 13, 2020, 07:23:12 AM
That is why bartomeu is out now.
Too much bad policies recently taken by him despite it was pure for business purpose to help the financial situation in the club.

As above, super bad decision to release Suarez, who now proves at Atletico he is still right up there with the very best. He and Messi could have done so much together still.

Anyway, thinking of him again, Uruguay is 4.20 to win at Sportsbet against Colombia. Call me nostalgic but Suarez will help his team win today, easy bet for me:)

Just as long as Atalanta firepower from Colombia are off form:P
That is nice odds ,
Mind to check betnomi for something more? As i never seen any other crypto sportsbook that offers 400+ markets except betnomi.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Missed the golden opportunity, now what?? on: November 13, 2020, 07:04:38 AM
Many people periodically reflect on this lost opportunity to buy bitcoin when it was priced at a few dollars.  Now one can only dream up about this.  These times will never return.  Nobody even could have imagined ten years ago that such events would happen and the cryptocurrency would rise so much and get stronger.  Yes, a time machine would be useful here.
This is never ending story , more people will come in the future and saying like "i wish i could buy bitcoin while the price at 15000 us dollar" said people who looking at the chart with bitcoin price at 100000 us dollar.
You should always think now or never especially in the bullish market like nowdays.
Go ahead buy in every single opportunity you had , dont wait as waiting will cost you a regret like what this never ending stories do. This is the bitcoin way.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rollover betting challenge system by Lordhermes on: November 13, 2020, 03:54:13 AM
@sunsilk read this please haha

I have all heard your responses and it quiet good and benefiting, I noticed everyone pointed out about the daily betting rule as a risky one and that's pretty true, this way would be more better like this, the 15 day completion can be in a 30 days apparently a month, because not everyday will be a Christmas, so in case you hardly see 1.50 odds in a day, you can skip that day and move on to another day.

I know this challenge wouldn't be easy that's why I set up save 1 and save 2, starting with pretty little amount $10 that's affordable to loss, I will be starting my challenge after this international break and I will keep you guys posted about the progress, although I will perform that using my Fiat currency not Bitcoin, LoL.
I will glad to watching how this will get through.
I wish nothing but the best for you and probably this is interesting to follow , i mean why not.
Despite there is a lot of unexpected results in the first 5 to 8 matches , i think from now on everything should be back to normal where every underdogs will be remain underdog.
Goodluck by the way
131  Other / Meta / Re: Is this place ever going to get a mobile view option? on: November 12, 2020, 11:33:14 AM
Let it be as classic as now.
A lot of people even doesnt want that new forum software that looks much more modern.
But yes it is your rights to feel that the mobile version is the one you prefered.
I prefer the current version is the perfect one, nothing  seems to have a signifcant changes.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 12, 2020, 11:19:05 AM
36 year old Ronaldo to United on a 500k weekly wages? Looks exactly like the type of a deal Woodward would do.

Don't get me wrong, Ronaldo is still a great player. But this would be another mistake in an already too long line of mistakes for United. He'd cost a fortune, demand a center role and he'd be another forward option that would take minutes away from Martial/Rashford/Greenwood - obviously their best part of the team.

I'm sure they will do this deal if Ronaldo is available though.
This is gonna be a hard transfer especially when you realize you have to renegotiate about cristiano wage demands.
As i believe the reason behind why juventus looking to release cristiano is because of financial problem.
Many clubs do in hardship during the pandemic , financial problem is the number 1 talked , even barcelona and real madrid do have the same situation.
United to sign cristiano with that high wage demand? I dont think this will ever happened, media loves playing with united fans enthusiasm.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 11, 2020, 10:35:13 PM
What do you think?

at some point people will be able to walk in a casino and just bet on slot machines with bitcoin?
or play poker using crypto, but irl?

do you think it will become a mass adoption currency or it'll keep as it is on online websites only?

of course some merchants and places already adopt crypto and BTC as a way of payment, but curious here:
how long you think it'll take to reach the point where we can bet in real life places with bitcoin?

With the current confirmation time, how long do you think it will takes for placing a bet? It’s not ideal for a quick-playing game. Maybe the casino wont apply bitcoin directly to their machine, but by accepting bitcoin for the payment of their tokens/chips. Or maybe they should have a bitcoin ATM in their casino, or.. bitcoin as a jackpot prize maybe? It would be great. However, introducing bitcoin to gambler can be risky for offline casino because they are introducing an online money for online transactions, which usually used for online gambling. Surely, they dont want their customer changes their mind to play casino online. Lol
With a proper rules and preparation i think this confirmation time problem could be solved.
I mean there is third party service that can analyzed whether the transaction is safe from double spending pr any other malicious transactions etc , so it is something could be done.
Another possibility is by exchange your money with a chip worth of 1mbtc each for example , with this way you dont have to wait while making bets.
So by the end of the day when you try to cashout it is all in bitcoin .
Would be fun surely!
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the new US administration be friendly to bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 05:19:10 PM

Biden just appointed a former chairman of Commodity Futures Trading Commission Gary Gensler as a leader of financial policy transition team, which is not bad cause he seems to be pro-crypto, he testified before Congress against comparison bitcoin to Ponzi schemes.
source: https://www.coindesk.com/biden-confirms-gary-gensler-will-lead-financial-policy-transition-team

Too bad trump lost the election to Biden, although trump never liked bitcoin, and so far have not heard Biden say anything about bitcoin, i believe that hasn't crossed his mind yet, so i guess we just have to wait till he assumes office and see what his administration brings, I just hope it will be good for us bitcoiners, because slowly US are becoming an out cast to crypto, so many platform refrain from distributing crypto to citizens of US, due to their regulation system.
I think we have the same situation like when trump elected 4 years ago.
I mean there are some people who claimed as pro-crypto settled in a strategic positions back then but nothing happened after it.
So it could be only a coincidental , or we as a crypto enthusiast overreacted on it which i guess it is we are too excited.
I will not expect too much about this. Time will tell.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 11, 2020, 05:06:11 PM
Serie A will rest until November 21. These days of friendly games and Nations League could tire the national players at the advantage of minor Serie A teams. Some money can be made by betting on a few unexpected results. First of all, let us see what will happen tonight with Italia Estonia.

Rabiot has already broken himself in his national call for France before the friendly game.

How stupid is it FIFA to want this competition this year?
The domestic league schedule itself already so tight and rentless.
FIFA are drunk wanted this nations league forced to play in the middle of the mess .
Nobody feel entertained i guess with this nations league stuff , they are annoyed instead.
It is almost certain that nowadays players have to play twice a week which it is so painful, no time for even recovery.

137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Biden's winning effect on the crypto market. on: November 10, 2020, 11:31:29 AM
like a lot of other things, the result of US presidential election has very little effect on bitcoin in a short time which we saw the biggest part of that small effect as the small drop below $15k before price bounced back up again.
things like this are just news that cause some excitement in the market for a day or two and then things go back to normal which is currently a bull run.
People love so much correlating one thing to another nowadays especially when it comes to deciding bitcoin price movement factors.
I do believe the price plunged from 15800 usd to 14500 usd is naturally made and could possibly as a reaction of the election result but yes once again it takes a little part only as it is not everybody who hold bitcoin care about this election thing , that is the logic i used.
We are good no matter trump or biden wins , bitcoin is on its way into the new ATH all the way
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 07, 2020, 07:52:34 PM
Chelsea 4 - 1 Sheffield United

 Grin

today chelsea is very inspired and is not sparing Sheffield United. Is a guaranteed victory.

Chelsea vs Sheffield United
This is another kind of doggy match for the blues as Havertz and and Pulisic are still out due to health issues, this gives room to a kovasic and Ziyech start it wont be an easy test for the blues as they need to take advantage of Everton lost to Manchester United and top up to a top 4 position.

I tip Chelsea win

Now is:

sheffield united 1 - 0 chelsea
Lol  Chelsea 2:1Sheffied HT.
Their only mission was to cancel Chelsea clean sheets streak and this could end up bad for them expect a goal from Ziyech and Werner second half.

when I bet on chelsea I expected them to win but I didn't think it would start the game and they would concede a goal and I also didn't think chelsea would score 4 goals in that game. this is a very pleasant game to watch
Wow just wow , ziyech running the show with brilliant passing and that assist to chilwell & thiago silva.
Despite the slow start and conceded in the early game , chelsea could get out of the bad zone and make a great comeback.
From 0-1 to 4-1 , man that is not easy job , this game is prettu similar to everton vs manchester united earlier before this game.
Manchester united comeback from 1-0 to 1-3 , brilliant performance from bruno fernandes, everton looks like have a bad day with that terrible performance, passing the ball randomly and losing possession too often cost the lost.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 07, 2020, 09:18:30 AM
(....)
But if bitcoin was used in all of the transactions, then probably it will become the same as fiat, its volatility will not exist and it will just have a stable value.
(....)
Speaking of value when we comparing Bitcoin and fiat now, I don't think so that the value of Bitcoin will be the same as fiat. Because I believe, fiat is centralized, the government can decide anytime if they want to print for money. But in Bitcoin? They are totally different, that's why as time goes by, Bitcoin is becoming more asset than using it for payment just like our fiat now.
Did you remember in the early days where bitcoin invented and not much people talking about bitcoin yet?
They are all wondering that bitcoin will become our main payment system in the future , but why nowadays those people looks like turn his opinion to like "bitcoin is an asset bla bla bla"
So the purpose has changed now? Is that because of the tx fee that not friendly enough now?
140  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 07, 2020, 08:50:49 AM
I think only one thing, if Bitcoin rises to $ 20k per share as a result of an election in the USA, this is an excellent Pump, but is it a move prepared by the strong hands? maybe not, they maybe have their moves set up most likely to keep bitcoin going much higher. The elections are a Fundamental, but the normal movement of the market is another thing, perhaps we will see that the bitcoin will rise much more than $ 20k if only if the confirmed bullish trend occurs or begins already.

However, if a certain character wins, I know that bitcoin will take a huge leap, but if not? what scenario could be seen? Will the price stay? go down to?
The election is almost over and biden is the pne who won it.
We can now see the market looks has no passion to grow anymore and simply stalled.
As other people say that the election has nothing to do but still for me there is someome who rely on election to gaim confident in acquiring bitcoin.
Here is the proof that the election near to ended and the price of bitcoin follows near to end the rally to 20000 usd?
I am not sure , but looks like it has the same line , same path as the election.
