181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 30, 2020, 11:12:22 AM
Shame on as roma, with that low odds they failed to even score a single goal
They tried with some substitutions but it was just bad, except they hit bar once and had few more chances but not enough to beat anyone today.
Maybe they are thinking more about Seria A and next match with Fiorentina.

I have extremely low expectations from Europa league so I always bet on it just for beer money.

Same here.
Not all teams are even motivated to play in Europa League, so I keep my stakes low here and just for fun.

I believe a tough and tight schedule become the reson why as roma and other clubs in top 5 european league flop in the first 2 or 3 games
They will have to get used to the special covid fixtures soon otherwise there will be a lot more surprise results.
Since europa league held in a single day and there a lot of matches played at once
I prefer to stake low and play a lot combination of parlay that is the way to have a real fun.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin cross $15k in end of 2020 on: October 29, 2020, 10:32:11 PM
Thanks to Paypal? That's it?  Grin
There is a lot of reason out there for Bitcoin to go up in price and it will just be Paypal who could make a big difference?
I think it's just hype.
In weeks, we will see it calm down and I hope bitcoin will remain as to how it is now.
More like the new bottom is 13.5k. Yeah, that looks better.
If it was just a hype then why you set 13500 us dollar as the new bottom , it doesnt  makes any sense for me
Paypal did has a major part in the recent price surge,  let it drive the market even only for a while.
We are trying to approach 14000 and looks like the attempt will last for weeks from now
As moving 1000 us dollar or 2000 us dollar in single day for bitcoin it was too easy, lets upgrade the expectation by set a resistance at 20000 us dollar? By the end of the year? That is very possible.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2020, 10:14:33 PM
AS Roma vs CSKA Sofia is one of my today picks for Europa League and without much explanation I would go with Roma as much better team.
Arsenal vs Dundalk should be a match with lot of goals despite injuries, so 3 or more goals is reasonable bet here.

Shame on as roma, with that low odds they failed to even score a single goal
If there is parlay where as roma included , it must be pissed off and i believe a lot of people did included roma, 0-0 is unacceptable.
A shock on leverkusen match as they have to play with 10 men and even worse they play so awful
It cost them a 1-0 lost to slavia praha , they cannot survive to hold onto draw as slavia praha scored the late goal at 80' , dluble shock tonight.
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 29, 2020, 03:50:47 PM
It does, quite a lot for me. When Bitcoin prices go up, I tend to not play as much as when btc price is really low. Because if the price is around $4k hypothetically for a coin, that means I can get 0.001 btc for $4 only, relatively low and hence I would like to gamble it and try to get more btc so when price goes up, I can have good fortune while when the coin prices go up, I get scared of losing lots of money if am not able to control gambling away my saved coins!
People in the past gamble 100 btc at once like it is nothing , they will realize now that was stupid call.
Yes that shows how the impact of bitcoin price increases makes people tend to hold themselves to not stake the usual amount like before
Regarding the games much harder to win when the priceup is bullshit to me.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today? on: October 27, 2020, 03:03:00 PM
I can only imagine that the people who does not aware to pass the key to anybody  will only causing the bitcoin availability reduced more and more as gime goes by.
Imagine 100 people with average 1 bitcoin holding disappeared because of the death every year and the numbers could continue increases.
Of course if you aware about all of the urgency passing the key to somebody you trust then it is clear you are fine and the bitcoin safe from the risk of extinction. This is maybe sounds a little bit exaggerated but yes it is what it is.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 27, 2020, 02:36:30 PM
Games of Today

Lokomotiv Moscow 17:55 Bayern Munich
Shakhtar Donetsk 17:55 Inter Milan
Atalanta 20:00 Ajax
Atletico Madrid 20:00 Red Bull Salzburg
FC Porto 20:00 Olympiakos FC
Liverpool 20:00 FC Midtjylland
M'gladbach 20:00 Real Madrid
Marseille 20:00 Manchester City

Source: https://www.skysports.com/champions-league-fixtures

Big games? no one

Key game? M'gladbach - Real Madrid if Real will lose they will almost out from the gruop stage, I mean not out but very high risk of going out with 0 points in 2 games.
All the favorites to win? At the high odds a team like inter milan and real madrid will have to a little bit struggling
While manchester city , bayern munich and liverpool all should have comfortable winning at least with 2 goals difference.
It is gonna be difficult for sure if real madrid losing this one against moenchen gladbach as they are in tough group.
They could still advance to the next stage as long as all the teams in the group beating each other , yes even with 4 or 3 games left.
But i will choose real madrid to win surely.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Government slowly open the economy, will it make the pandemic worst? on: October 27, 2020, 09:03:23 AM
I cannot imagine the prostitute businesses to be re-open
It is a sure thing the most effective way to get infected lol.
Let the whole economy area to re-open so we can see a smooth genocide of the century, i always imagined about this
If the covid19 is so deadly , lets use it to reduce useless man on earth .
No seriously , both action by reopening activities and locking down has similar equal effects / threats.
So for me let it flow , life must go on.
188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 27, 2020, 07:45:10 AM

 Grin

no way that tottenham will lose

They were struggling
Luckily heung min son scored at the last 15 minutes of the game
Tottenham dominated the game and burnley was in bad form last night , i expect something like a fighting spirit after even they conceded but looks like burnley onlytrying to get 1 point from tottenham.
A little bit boring game as we know it is mourinho style nowadays.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 27, 2020, 07:13:55 AM
Haven't made any bets yet, but I have some doubts about one game. Odds for Atalanta win over Ajax looks nice. Atalanta won first UCL game easy, but they suffered 2 big losses in Serie A. So, I'm not sure about their win.
I'm going to back some favorites like Inter, Atletico, maybe Porto. And I will look for goals over in Bayern and Liverpool games.
Will you ignore the fact that ajax won 13-0 against vvv venlo last saturday? They trashed venlo really hard , atalanta must be aware about this and wont  underestimate them.
Likely a draw will be fair for both , but i am more to ajax honestly.
The odds doesnt reflected anything to me.
1-2 for ajax , close match like that and the game must be openly both attacking , that is ajax philosophy.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The number of Bitcoin whales hit an all-time high during the latest bull run on: October 27, 2020, 06:56:31 AM
not whales.. exchanges

not exchanges but the whales

https://cointelegraph.com/news/abra-ceo-s-portfolio-is-50-bitcoin-as-cash-is-becoming-worthless

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/10/08/business/square-bitcoin-crypto-investment/index.html

Fidelity was also suggesting its users to hodl bitcoin at least 5% from their portfolios. more whales are coming to the bitcoin.

The big names who hated bitcoin have started to change their mind about bitcoin. It looks like it's possible for bitcoin to be dominated by the whales from the wallstreet. I remember paul tudor was also investing in bitcoin too.

Yes we can all see it , the people who talk bullshit about bitcoin now looks like have a 180°  opinions , paypal for example , they are ranting about bitcoin at least for the past 5 years and look where they are now.
Will be more interesting if trump or biden speak about bitcoin in their campaign , they are more than big names , they could be a game changer.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 26, 2020, 06:49:06 AM
A shocker for Arsenal as Leciester having taking the lead with their first short on target, and there is just 5 minutes left on the clock...

can  Arsenal get even ?

EDIT: Ooops! they can't, it's game over!
2late! with Leicester odds x3.85 I think many people enjoyed this match result at the opposite of the other 2... Everton losing by 2 goals vs Southampton and Wolves drawing with Newcastle...
Definitely the only team enjoying this week results is Liverpool Wink
Southampton beat everton at x3.8
Leicester beat arsenal at x3.8
Leeds beat aston villa at x3.8 too?

This week bookies favorites all went down.
Cannot wait to see Premier league get even more wild in the next few weeks haaa
And tonight match is burnley against tottenham, will they continue the trend?
Burnley to beat tottenham at x5.8 now
They beat tottenham  2-1  last year
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 24, 2020, 10:52:35 PM
ATM won today with 2 goals to 0 vs Betis, Suarez scored a goal at the end which made him the best scorer for the moment with the least time played along with Fati. ATM, 2 points behind Real Madrid, still lacks a game which makes things interesting especially that it didn't lost any game + Barca failure + Real Madrid struggling to win lately = best chance to get the title this season!
Now Sevilla is a weird team, fighting hard in UEFA games then copycat sleepy Barca in La Liga! weird!
You can expect a lot of draw from atletico , they have mastered it
I cannot understand simeone , why did he insist to play that defensive strategy all the time, arent he tired?
They might are the best team in defending by conceding the least goals but at the end it is gonna be mean nothing when you gets no title, he need to change or simply move from ATM , joao felix wasted his talent in a defensive minded game.
193  Economy / Lending / Re: Lending Service Started! (BTC/LTC/ETH/DOGE/ETC)! on: October 24, 2020, 02:34:51 PM

194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 24, 2020, 02:03:31 PM
Does this mean that aston villa hype has come to an end? I think so.
They will be remain an average team , know your place.

I think so, yes. Dangerous to hype anyone this crazy season! Villa I still think look good enough for top half, maybe 9th or 10th. Should avoid a relegation struggle quite comfortably.
Leeds narrowed the difference in points from Villa in this crazy season...

Man City vs West ham and Chelsea vs Man U will be the matches to wait for today. Man City & Chelsea are my picks. good luck with Chelsea and good luck Lampard.
Remember that leeds has played 6 games while aston villa is 1 game short.
Also the result between west ham and manchester city is a draw , this is the worst start of the season for manchester city in the last few seasons. They have spent a lot of money through each season, what a waste.
Manchester united vs chelsea , my analysis is that manchester united going to win the game with close winning 1-0 or 2-1, they have higher morale to fight than chelsea.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Momentum Builds for Bitcoin on: October 23, 2020, 11:34:06 PM
Everybody aware about this and doesnt care.
Why? Pretty simple that was not something really bad, that was not a crime?
As long as it has great impact on spreading awareness that the bitcoin future here has arrived in paypal, people love to welcome it.
It's just sad to see that so many people would literally sacrifice anything for a % they earn. PayPal integration with restricted usage and utility means more ways to spend Bitcoin but less chances for privacy & decentralization to succeed like it should.

Let the hype begin.
This is of course a rare momentum , how can you say that was not? Even though yes we have to anticipate the unexpected , let it flow , building a momentum now or never , the post-halving hope to get price quadrupled is back alive.
I wouldn't take this as a key moment moment for BTC. Hypes are exciting and all, but in the end it's the future I dreamed for at stake. You could read this thread I wrote a while ago to see why I personally think it's not a great moment of our community but actually the opposite. But each for their own, of course. Smiley
Great thread over there kevin
I do understand regarding the privacy and freedom concern
That is the most valueable thing for an early adopter like you or me or most people around this forum im aware
But here is the problem , those people out there has different perspective about this privacy stuff, they are not ready if we serve a full conception of decentralized system they will leave with thousands questions in mind when you try to introduce a full package of bitcoin vision , those people out there are not ready.
They should getting ready with paypal freely promoted bitcoin, maybe this will take a long time but that is the worthy cost.
196  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Balance on Exchanges Reducing on: October 23, 2020, 10:46:42 PM
Not to mention that exchanges have been known to socialise losses whenever there's a bad crash or liquidity wipe -- thereby literally reducing the account balance you have on Bitcoin. Can't recall the exact names but we've had some big names in the space in past few years do this.

They all fear "bank runs" because when it comes to it, I dread to think how many exchanges actually have enough in their wallets to honour every single withdrawal.
Correct perhaps they are realized how dangerous storing coins on an exchange
Everybody seems had educated themselves in 2020 as they learned how to store coins properly not by buying and let there.
This is a mix between people has had an improvement security awareness and the bull run prep.
Still not sure but there is no harm to believe people are allin to bitcoin after desperate on the bubble property right?
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 23, 2020, 10:18:39 PM
playing at home, I predict that Aston Villa will score many goals again.  they have a good winning record over the last few matches whereas Leed has been very bad in the last few matches..

Aston Villa vs Leeds; Aston win
score prediction; 2-0 (1/4 odds)
Playing at home or not it is doesnt matter now as no fans watching
They lost horribly 0-3 anyway, leeds deserve this winning since they are so consistent even with a couple losses they show a brilliant performance.
Does this mean that aston villa hype has come to an end? I think so.
They will be remain an average team , know your place.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: History repeats itself? on: October 23, 2020, 03:14:50 PM
Is that even legal for creating a chart like that lol
seems odd to me personally.
Can we relate the invention situation 11 years ago to today situation? Especially during pandemic?
Even a perfect formed chart can still go into wrong direction right?
Everybody seems loved to referring current situation to where bitcoin going to the moon , i am a little bit concern regarding this.
When our confidence has reached the top but the reality dumped it all , dont forget in the recent days there is a lot of big company hold large amount of bitcoin that can always splashed to market.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 23, 2020, 02:44:08 PM
Ozil is getting a ton of money for not playing at all, he has no stress because he is not playing so whatever happens in Arsenal is not his problem, he just goes out and practices and watches the game from the best place of the pitch and that's it, I would love a job like that, getting millions of dollars and having no responsibility at all.

I understand that a great player should want to play in a team and make a difference but when you do not have any offers like that from any other big team, you either go to leagues like Qatar or something to get the money but play in a horrible team or you go to championships level places and get less money but be a great player in a respected league. I would rather have them both, be in one of the most respected teams in the world AND get paid a lot.
He do care about the club but the club itself treating him like nothing
It was well known behind ozil left out from the 25 premier league squad because of political reasons.
It was not the first time also , look back when newcastle canceled the deal for the club overtaken by prince saudi arabia mohammed bin salman , they said the prince wont pass the league's ownership test etc , but actually it was pure political reasons. Shame on them.
Ozil doesnt really enjoy the huge money he make at arsenal it is proven by how he voluntarily giving his salary for arsenal mascot while the club struggling, few weeks later this is arsenal response. What a garbage board.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Momentum Builds for Bitcoin on: October 22, 2020, 11:15:03 PM
While the list of possible ways to use Bitcoin has now grown considerably with PayPal's acceptance, I don't see it as a big momentum. A company like PayPal or Revolut that supposedly lets you store crypto but really doesn't isn't helping with our growth. A currency you can only deposit but never really withdraw is imo a false currency. The virtual version of an already virtual crypto. You should be able to move it the way you like, exactly like you're allowed to move USD from your bank to PP and vice versa.
Everybody aware about this and doesnt care.
Why? Pretty simple that was not something really bad, that was not a crime?
