301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Vending machines that use Bitcoin on: December 28, 2019, 02:07:25 AM
It would be a great idea to have vending machines accept bitcoin....if this was 1996.  But in 2019?  I couldn't even tell you where the nearest vending machine is.  Probably at my local hospital or something, but you don't see them all over the place like you used to.  So I think even if this were ever to become an option it wouldn't have a major impact on anyone's lives--certainly not mine.

I do realize that vending machines are still very popular in other countries, and I think Japan is one of those if I'm not mistaken.  But where I live they're pretty much a dying breed and have been for years.  I don't see too many of them around anymore.  Plus I think people would still much rather use their debit card or some physical coins to pay for a snack or a drink out of a machine because that's what they're used to.  I sure as hell don't want to pay a network fee when I could use cash and not have to worry about the opportunity cost of spending bitcoin, the confirmation time, and whatever else.
true.

the use case of this bitcoin vending machine itself is not something that people needed, the machine created just for a sensation. a new way to pay snacks in an automated machine with bitcoin , that is cool but not really should be a priority in term of building bitcoin ecosystem, it could work to spread bitcoin awareness but not really good for the business itself.

despite i am living in a cahsless society , i also prefer to use coins for such payment -situational factors-.
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 28, 2019, 01:32:52 AM
What I'm worried about is really happening, Wolves change the situation before the last minute until finally they won the match 3-1  Cheesy
This situation does not happen on last minuted but happens on minutes 10 when Edison got a red card, game atmosphere situation are changed, ManCity player hardworking to make to be a winner.
i am not sure understands what both of you talking about lol
here let me get this straight what happened in the match.

12' Ederson sent off
25' Sterling scored

HT 0-1 Manchester city

50' Sterling scored 0-2
55' Adama Traore scored 1-2
82' Raul Jimenez scored 2-2
89' Matt Doherty scored 3-2

the match has everything! red card, drama and an incredible comeback!
also for the first time in pep guardiola history to lost ball possession of 63%-37%
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 27, 2019, 09:18:47 AM
My opinion about the latest games:

Sheffield United 1-1 Watford

this was a game Watford had a good chance of winning but it wasted the portunity of winning... committing a penalty like that is unacceptable. they do a good job in defense and then make a penalty? that destroyed all the good work they did in defense throughout the game

Manchester united 4 vs 1 Newcastle

This was a game in which the many mistakes that the Newcastle defense made made Manchester United score many goals. What I was shocked by this game was that in the cases that Manchester United scored goals Newcastle players would stand still waiting for the referee to score foul

Leicester City 0-4 Liverpool

this was definitely a game where Leicesterwas crushed by Liverpool
watford deserve the three points isn't it? we can agree about this.

sheffield once are on top 4 and now it seems slowly falling down to 6  and even lower especially the next game is against manchester city away lol this is 99% a lost, i can not doubt about it and guess after manchester city match, liverpool are waiting at anfield  Cheesy such a hell of fixtures. guaranteed to losing 6 points could drag them down to 11 or lower position , that is where they belong .

i was hoping for the match to end draw , but manchester united did a quick comeback even in the first half. well played by the young lads.
what a game showed by liverpool , they surely a champion of premier league they will seal the titile early with this form.
304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 27, 2019, 08:32:53 AM
The market has matured and therefore the market has getting stronger.
2017 may not happen again but we can expect that the market will grow steady if that's what we believe that the market has matured.

However, based on my observation, the market seems still easily get manipulated as FOMO and FUD are still here.

Like what happen this year, we all witness an increase of bitcoin price for 30% in within 24 hours and for me, it's not a good sign of market maturity.
yes people continue questioning and doubting the future of bitcoin especially when it comes to questioning the price movement these poeple always in hurry making conclusions, they think it was a real bubble when the price skyrocket from $500 to $20000.
and then suddenly make a decision to sell the coin they have on a discounted price like we see now.

guess they will confused and even more restless after they realized they have sold it all but want to comeback to the game.

that moment people have no idea where they have to place the buy order position as the market starts moving.
this uncertainity must be known by anybody who involved in cryptocurrency market.
i see there is a lot of people thinking that bitcoin is actually a bubble , i don't give a fuck with them anyway lol.

Watford 1-0 up just before half time. The Great Escape is on, let’s keep going Wink
"... Ben Foster is the real hero for Watford and now they are not at the bottom of the table and expecting better performance in the future."
Certainly agree on this one. He (Foster) stopped several point-blank range shots and also provided important saves to prevent the Sheffield from scoring and taking the lead. The article below provides a local article where they rate Watford's players based on their past games and I must say, those rating are looking good.

Well, these are just local ratings and doesn't provide statistical game data but seeing news like these can lift up one's spirit one way or another.  Wink

Code: (ARTICLE)
https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/18123907.watford-players-rated-draw-sheffield-united/
sheffield united torture watford in the second half as the slow start they have cost them 2 points lost and indeed the goalkeeper ben foster did an excellent job despite how the two center backs of watford several times having a miss communications .

really a valueable 1 point away, they are 6 points to escape from the relegation and counting less.

next match are aston villa , will be an interesting with the title of -the battle of relegation-.
i can call this is a crucial match. 3 points is a must.

BREAKING
Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to ac milan.
As a manager or player? he is 38 years old to be playing it could be injury proneness

I believe as player 😀
Of course he didn't play in serious league last a few years so it's real question how much he can help Milan.
It's obvious that Milan is very desperate right now but don't think Ibrahimovic can help them.
rumored that zlatan agree with ac milan offer for a contract until june 2020 and possible an extension of 1 year contract after that, considering mikel arteta who took over arsenal at 37 years old , i guess the question about what role ibrahimovic at ac milan in the future are just fair, i believe he is looking for an opportunity to start a managerial career there in italy.

gonna be interested to see zlatan become a manager  Cheesy .
the press conference room will always be a place where people waiting on, his comments are extraordinary lol.

serie A are not that tough , i think it is rare players get injured in italy yes if you compare it to chinese super league  Grin.

BREAKING

Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to ac milan , according to skysports.
it has been a clear hint from ibrahimovic that he will come back to italy , the club that he wanted are the one who need to get back their glory days.
he is in mission to save ac milan.

the negotiation itself been happening since last months in november, i did not really surprised.

edit :
i am sorry , it was not zlatan returns to ac milan.
it is ac milan returns to zlatan  Cheesy
308  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 26, 2019, 02:25:44 PM
Who still here on boxing day?

Tottenham down 0-1 at the half time. From what I analyze, they don't have a creative playmaker who can connect the backline with the attacker. Christian Eriksen needs to come and save Spurs once again! This is a big problem since he might not be there next season.
it is 2-1 full time!

the first ever comeback tottenham under jose mourinho, well done.
i see that tottenham play the negative football , is mourinho at it again? brighton played really well they just losing too much concentration to conceded that two goals in just twenty minutes.

i see also tottenham players tend to play hard and a little bit dirty under mourinho work in just a couple weeks and the mourinho effect is that crazy  Shocked  Shocked Shocked. 4 yellow cards in this game and it sounds like not tottenham of pochettino version.
309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 25, 2019, 03:48:16 PM
I really don't think that the vast majority of gamblers gamble with the expectation of becoming rich, after all, nearly all games of chance available online have a limited size jackpot and a limited win multiplier. Because of this, there are only a few games that can really make players rich, e.g. lottery type games, slots with a jackpot and games with a multiplier over 100.

With that said, I think most people simply gamble for the thrill of it. It's one thing to beat somebody at a game where nothing is at stake, it's an entirely different feeling to beat somebody when there is something on the line—even if it is just beating the casino at its own games. This is mostly why I play poker at low stakes tables now, whomping on the fish is a feeling that you can't get anywhere else really.
firs of all people just wanna chill having fun and just using their spare time.

but then as time goes by it ALWAYS turn to addicted, no matter how people at first time have an intention for the pure fun , hard to avoid addiction in gambling and your purpose changed as well , this is the irony.
setting a target to get rich by gamble is a fantasy , there is a super tiny chance but still it feels like just a fantasy.

the thrill in gambling is priceless, you can not find that feel anywhere else.
but the addiction in it always scared everybody.
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price and Christmas. on: December 25, 2019, 02:39:32 PM
I know about bitcoin since 3 years. And I have been continuously seeing that during Christmas [25 December] Crypto Markets dump hardly.

In 2011, 2013, and 2016, the market was bullish during Christmas week. In 2012 and 2015, the market was sideways. I don't agree with the conclusion that the crypto markets always dump at this time.

Whenever people start seeing patterns like this, the patterns fail. That's no surprise given the lack of historical data and unpredictability of markets.

So what do you think about this Christmas and BTC price movements? Dump is coming to near? Or we can a different scenario in this Xmas?

This is a congestion zone in a ranging market so my hopes aren't high for huge fireworks (in either direction) this week. My overall bias is still leaning bullish. Targets in the $8K-$9K area seem possible in the next couple weeks.
well there is a myth that bitcooin price go down on christmas day because of people selling some of bitcoin that they hold for a year for buying stuff as part of the celebration day and some holiday expenses too , that is pretty makes sense right?

jus imagine everybody around the world doing this at the same time at the same day!

yes of course the more selling order coming but and buyers have anticipated this selling waves on the christmas day.
can not really blame anybody for this myth, that is too makes sense.
and that is happened temporarily by the way. there is no need to worry about.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade Your Privacy to ₿itcoin? on: December 25, 2019, 12:59:21 PM
Would you be willing to trade your location, name, and any other private and personal details over BTCitcoin? Yes? No? Why?
I know many of us have already submitted countless documents to various cryptocurrency exchanges just to pass their KYC process and comply with AML but how far would someone be willing to give up just to get a part of that precious BTCitcoin?
the title a little bit misleading lol

i thought it is kind of get through the kyc and get rewarded by some bitcoins haha , eventhough i do really love my privacy but when it comes to have no choice to completed the kyc in order to be able start buying bitcoin i think it is just fair and worth the risk.

but in case there is a lot of option available to buy bitcoin without have to provide those documents, hell no.
i do anything to acquire bitcoin.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 25, 2019, 11:04:49 AM
The big player was Deligh for ~85M, and since Juventus has not the Real's money (next year should be different), they needed to take cheap players and hope for the best.

They ended the year at -40M with Rabiot and Ramsay for free, cause players like Mandzukic, Higuain, Khedira, Matuidi, Rugani Refused EVERY team.

Again you can do nothing if they want to stay.

Mandzukic 6+6 12M €
Allegri 7+7 14M €
Khedira 6+6 12M €
Matuidi 3.5+.37 7M €
Rugani 3.5+.37 7M €

52M € only for those.
could not agree more with you.

juventus transfer thesedays seems wasteful, far from efficient, let's take a look to 3 or 5 seasons ago where juventus well known as a club with the most clever and effective signings such as the pirlo transfer from ac milan to juventus for free provided a huge impact. big mistake from ac milan who allow him to move to rival club.

we are missing these glory days and it seems start making the same mistakes as ac milan did.
ridiculous sarri seems has no plan B.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question for the Speculators... (experiment) on: December 25, 2019, 10:04:08 AM
even those people with a lot of experiences and high skills trader have a very low percentage to ended up with profit, the research say it all , mostly they claimed that less than 10% a trader can success making profit in the long run.
I think the problem with those people is that they try to make profit quick. No matter how long you have been trying to get trading to work for you, there simply isn't a way for you to make more profit than you have lost.

Most people make things worse for themselves by raising the stakes in an attempt to gain back what they have lost, but gamblers have been the prefect example in terms of exposing how dangerous revenge gambling really is.

People can't even get things working for themselves in the stock market they claim is very predictable. How on earth will they be able to have any success within crypto, a market that's truly unpredictable.
then we are agreed that people are impatient most of the times.

and that is one of the major factor makes them failed reaching the target to have a steady profit in trading. honestly i can not compare trading to how raising the stakes as a gambling, that is pretty much different. it is part of the strategy in money management though.

but here considering we are talking about speculation where i believe this kind behavior in trading is tend to a gambling.
indeed, things will never work out with that kind behavior.
nobody succeed through gambling, nobody succeed through trading with 100% pure speculation .
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question for the Speculators... (experiment) on: December 22, 2019, 03:24:09 PM
the outcome will of course busted it all in the end .

in the short term they could gained some profits , it won't last for long. you know why? even those people with a lot of experiences and high skills trader have a very low percentage to ended up with profit, the research say it all , mostly they claimed that less than 10% a trader can success making profit in the long run.

that is the fact , if you insist to do so , please do it and tell us the result, we won't be surprised with the outcome  Cheesy
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 22, 2019, 02:53:45 PM
City made a huge Xmas gift to Liverpool by winning Leicester yesterday.
Now Liverpool has the chance to increase the point gap between the 1st and the 2nd place and increase it to 13 points. I think that it is already clear that the title is going to go to Merseyside this season.
Last season LIverpoll had an advantage of 8 points in December. Now that number has increased. If their performance had declined again from January, it is likely that the number of their points would have been very difficult to pursue. Unless they really turn into a different team the second half of the competition with frequent losses. but I don't think it's possible for them to fight for a league title they haven't had in a long time
oh really? 8 points gap last season and this season 13 points? does that means liverpool will win the english premier league trophy after 29 years? it is a little bit irony for a big club like liverpool who misses the chance to win the league for decades.

i wish they did it this time , with the unbeaten record still running so far i can see the trophy of english premier league is ready to coming for real this time. let's see in february when their focus will get split with another important competition like champions league.

they are looking to defend it too right? they must be.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 22, 2019, 02:06:00 PM
Unlike, many players on here, I do like to boost about my great gains when it happens, as I think it's a reminder to both me and others that sometimes and when you do get lucky generous gains can be recovered. I think this is important as often the bets as we all know it don't always result in success or wins so every chance I gain big rewards I do damn right celebrate it - and quite loud too  Grin
wealth bring you insecurities especially if you show them off what you have achieved.

that is one perspective that you could use as a reference about showing off your big gain publicly , but yes of course as you have said on the other side there is a perspective that showing off the big gains motivate you which is makes sense.

bad guy always there , when you show your 100k usd dollar winning for example , those bad guys always have an intention to rob you or hack you if you won it online. there always two sides on anything , a little bit risky doing this.
but it is always up to you.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: December 22, 2019, 01:10:39 PM
The odds payout on Atletico Madrid to win the match in full time against Real Betis is very attractive but I truly wonder if Atletico Madrid could beat Real Betis today? Atletico Madrid seems to be struggling recently whenever they are playing away from their home stadium, so I think this match between Real Betis and Atletico Madrid might end up in a draw at the final whistle.
yes that is true , in the last 5 matches atletico madrid never get 3 points in all competition , it is 3 draw of 0-0, 1-1 and another 1-1 lost 1-0 and 2-1. they are indeed struggle to win in away matches, the goal amount also around 2 and 3 goals.

but it is strange if you check the odds out for under 2.5 goals a bit high , is this a sign there will be more than 2 goals?
also for your information that real betis won the last meeting with atletico madrid , 1-0 for real betis at home.

i think it is better to go for real betis with the bad stats they have currently.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2019, 12:41:56 PM
Almost deal done for Mandzukic sold for a team on Qatar, he rejected teams as Manchester United, Dortmund and many more and now he is going there.

He is joining the Benatia's Team for probably a lot of money.

https://twitter.com/AlSadd_Juve/status/1208658752573804545
that is just normal. an idealism to play football for the sake of satisfaction is over for a player like mandzukic -33 years old- what other reason to not play football for the sake of money? it always about money especially in mandzukic situation.

to get an achievement? his career almost offer and there is a good offer.

nothing wrong with this kind transfer, he get the job and earn a lot of money then what? the judgement like this should only thrown to a young player that still has a lot of potential to grow and achieve a lot of things in the competitive league , not to a player like mandzukic, it is a fair one.
earned a lot of money , create a business from it and having a good life.
319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 21, 2019, 04:22:51 PM
Good players like Reus, Witsel and Schmelzer are going to be missing from today's line up.
I wonder if both teams would be able to score many goals - I believe 1X would be a more value bet at the moment.

OK
I think we can now both be happy with final result Smiley

Final score is  2:1 for Hoffenhaim, and they scored 2nd goal in 87' minute
Nice over 2.5  goals,  that's why I mostly preferred Germany league for such game,  Let's see how tomorrow games unfold

German league is now pulling a surprise whereby favorite don't usually win as expected it's better to study teams that scores more goals than to play 1x or 2x for either home or away team to win or draw
not really a good game for the bettor.
you need to wait until the last 10 to 15 minutes of the game to get the over 2.5 goals , bundesliga usually have a lot of goals scored in a single game because the open play they applied for decades.

it seems frequently occured the comeback that successfully made in just a couple minutes thesedays.

those who pick borussia dortmund to win or maybe just a draw or away will completely losing their minds seeing the game went unexpectedly, completely unexpected last minutes.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin price pump to $20k dollars next year? on: December 21, 2019, 03:52:06 PM
Halving is a few months away, and looking back, end-of-year always posts awful price action and lame market movement, so I won't go so far into expecting anything good happening before 2020. After the halving is what's really interesting considering that we're in the greens for most of the halvings over the course of 10 years, and it will be no surprise if we get a small bullish movement after the halving.
i can not imagine when people buying a lot of bitcoin now , sell everything they have now to take this chance but after halving occured , the price of bitcoin plunged down to -50‰ or worse.

what you gonna do?

sell it immediately? wait for a month or two then if the price still did not move, sell it anyway?
think for the worst scheme before making any investment eventhough you know that there is a big chance , therr is always an unexpected thing to be anticipated.
I think you've got a point.if people are buying BTC and when good news coming, the selling pressure is going to be so big.So it's hard to say
it is been proven that a lot of people has bought bitcoin since it was at $10000 and guess what those buyers doing now?

yes cut that the losses , they can not resist to do that , they can not resist to get their value dropped that high and the most important they forgot the goal of buyig bitcoin at that moment is to support the halving day and hoping for the rewards later.

this is just a little bit drop , don't you worry and hold it until the day finally come.
be a believer and your faith will have a bigger rewards.
do painful things first now and chill on the penthouse in the future.
next year is expected as the next bitcoin ATH. do take the risk now or never.
