481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: November 11, 2019, 07:40:54 AM
Last night Liverpool vs Manchester city was fun one to watch. I was thinking of City to win and get again to No.2 spot but that didn't happened. Lots of missed and close chances and the handball -_-

Anyway yesterday all goals scored were spectacular. Which one do you think was the most spectacular goal? Fabinho? Salah? Mane? Or Silva?

I choose Fabinho one.  Cool
with ederson absence? you still think manchester city should win?

i have 100% feeling liverpool will continue the unbeaten campaign and they did it by smashing manchester city (again) at anfield. the odds were at 2.6 for liverpool which is lyke an easy money , i know everyone here backing liverpool to win , just enjoy the big winning  Wink
interesting scene at the end of the match where pep guardiola sacrastically congratulating the referee by saying "thank you so much" so loud in annoying style , nobody happy with a loss , go home pep.

salah's offside goal is spectacular though hehe , fabinho screamer and silva accuracy , love them all.
482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $400,000 (?) on: November 11, 2019, 06:50:29 AM
Can't find this Rodney guy on the internet. Which bank that employed him previously? I tried to Google search the profile pic but nothing shows up. Really difficult to find a former analyst and merchant banker nowadays.

Note: Street Wise is the only website that contains detailed info about him.

everyone becomes an expert when it comes to speculating bitcoin according to news sites so i wouldn't really read too much into it. there are lots of random dudes less known that this guy with far less history of investment of any kind that are being quoted as experts by these sites!

as for the speculation itself, it is not really a big deal. i would be more skeptical about $1 million+ target rather that such a low price as $400k which will most probably be reached in the nest bubble cycle.
always hate to heard someone who comparing bitcoin as a digital gold.

this rodney stevens do identified like that. whether he has no idea at all about bitcoin or mixed things up making those long term bitcoin price target analysis based on the thin air data , he did not even mention bitcoin halving that will occured within 6 months.

and this rodney steven is a founder of Digital Asset Management Corp., a private start-up, developing a cryptocurrency holdings company with the objective of providing investors with a convenient and more liquid way of gaining exposure to the cryptocurrency sector without sacrificing security. which i believe he just looking for convincing people (their investors especially) that bitcoin is always in bullish in the long term specifically.
i won't surprised if someone like him put that $400k numbers overconfidently as his target , that is they way that kind guy making a sales.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: China's Secret Weapon Against USD Is a Gold-Backed Crypto Currency on: November 10, 2019, 11:24:57 PM
Already we've come across more such gold backed cryptocurrencies. Maybe China doing the same will get more attention than the projects that seeks for investment. Every currency is being backed by the USD, now this means it might cause some impact over USD as the market gets directly connected with Gold.

The two powers of the world coming with plans to take control over the other is truly interesting, but in what this gonna end seems to be a mystery.
the war seems will continue until the day where china beat US in the entire fields.

i just feel like watching mr. robot movie now haha and this is the episode of the currency war, the gold backed cryptocurrency is indeed have been exist since long time ago like DGX (digix gold token) developed by digixglobal that backing the token with physical gold that is stored in a vault in singapore.
also there is ZGC (Zengold) a token backed by physical gold that reserved in shanghai gold exchange vault.

guess both tokens seems did not work out so far, but it could be a different story if the token developed by china government itself , the exposure will be clear high to pay world attention.
484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 10, 2019, 10:59:09 PM
Snip

despite the bad bayern munich performance recently especially a big loss of 5-1 to eintracht frankfurt i think they will be able to beat dortmund with 1-0 or 2-1.
this match won't go draw and both teams to score maybe will occured early as it often between these two club the game runs so quick .
i am with you bayern to win , no doubt.

Bayern Munich players are hurting after last weeks loss, hence I’m expecting them to fire on all cylinders in this match and comfortably beat Dortmund. The key players who can change the game for their respective teams are Sancho and Lewandowski, and I firmly believe the latter will be on the score sheet tomorrow.

https://bayernstrikes.com/2019/11/07/bayern-munich-vs-borussia-dortmund-four-key-battles/

as expected bayern munich won it easily over dortmund that looks sick lately.

and there is lewandowski bring another records again he is now scored in 11 bundesliga games in a row , incredible lewandowski. wonder how much money people made during these 11 games campaign if they placed lewandowski to score every single game.
4-0 but they still behind monchengladbach who just win over bremen 3-1, 4 points clear from the 2nd and 3rd.

both bayern and monchengladback will face each other at 7 december , could be decide who will win the half of the season.
485  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: November 08, 2019, 09:22:44 AM
If the question is to buy or wait in relation to cryptocurrency, then in which situation you need to first look at your capabilities.  If you have enough funds from which you can allocate for the purchase of cryptocurrencies and at the same time it will not be a particular difficulty for you, then this solution is quite normal when you invest your money in different cryptocurrencies, and not just Bitcoin.  A very good strategy that many users use is to buy Bitcoin every month for a certain amount and thus minimize the risks of price fluctuations.
100% true! especially if you are an early adopter who bought the bitcoin since it was $10 or even $50.

the drop or even crash from $9000 to $6000 or $3000 it is still profitable for them , waiting the price to drop even more will just make them happy to continue buying and if the rise , a sudden rise skyrocketing from $9000 to $15000 or so that is what they looking for since begiining as they holding bitcoin already on way cheaper value, the both side to drop and rise makes this people happy all the time no matter what  Smiley.

if you are not an early adopter though you can start making your own portofilio , buy now and hold it on as long as possible as if you did not do it you will regret whenever the price starts rising.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: November 08, 2019, 07:35:06 AM
Sounds like you're having a little hope for Bitcoin, mate. Many of us have witnessed the capability of Bitcoin and the convenience that it's causing us as a mode of payment. As for me, there have been a huge number of adoptions and even bigger organizations and developing countries are now accepting Bitcoin so I don't see any reason to lose hope for it. We need Bitcoin not just an investment and not just a mode of payment but a supporting currency.
Yes. Bitcoin is created as a currency so we should promote it more about its usage. There are a lot of us here who ofen consider bitcoin as an investment or for trading purposes but the fact that bitcoin is a supporting currency then we should convince those people to focus more on bitcoin as a currency so that in the near future, chances for massive adoption of bitcoin will be very possible.
bitcoin lately become popular as a digital asset , a long term investment that promising a high return.

it is not fit anymore for those people who involved in so much cryptocurrency projects to consider bitcoin as an ideal currency, the fee is too high , the confirmation time takes time too long and many more factors that makes people feel uncomfortable to use bitcoin as a currency.
moreover there is a lot of altcoins offering a specific use case as a real digital currency that makes people in so much advantage.

the high fee in bitcoin and insane volatility makes ordinary people avoiding use it as a currency even avoiding it at all. while stable coins is a trash , there is no formula yet to make it trustable decentralized, libra could be the solution but still it is centralized.
487  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to take advantage BTC Pump and Dump in short period? on: November 08, 2019, 06:32:02 AM
Some peoples are beginners in crypto trading so they are all don't know how to fluctuate all the time. Bitcoin is always fluctuate because it is volatile crypto currency so market is moving forward and backward. It is a decentralized cryptocurrency so no one stop the fluctuations but any government can add some regulations and it will never affect the Bitcoin.
I feel like bots could actually work wonders in these kinds of situations, after all they are automatically doing the trades so it means they must be taking advantage of the big ups and downs. I really wanted to see a bot that works on ups and downs of the leverage market as well because that looked like the real place where bots could make a serious damage considering people can't be too quick but bots could literally get out before liquidation so it is actually a good idea.

However, giving the full power to a bot is not really that healthy neither because it is software after all, even the greatest coder could have an unexpected error and I do not want all my money at the hands of a bot that doesn't really understand what I want from it, just does what I say it to do.
yes i couldn't agree more with you that even with bots you still need to check it manually sometimes that is the rule number 1.

actually if you do trading more often , you will get used to looking for the situation around and how to deal with it , what i mean is whenever you see a market movement unusual you will identified it early than what people can realized.
and that moment is your momentum to make a buy decision or sell, market movement always have some patterns and your job is to find it.

so IMHO to taking an advantage with the aggressive market movement is by having more experience to face any kind situation.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 08, 2019, 05:43:15 AM
Bayern Munich is in a very bad state and I am sure they are not going to win Dortmund. I have even placed a bet on this in Kryptium, the odds are 1.80 for Bayern to win. Anyone wanna join??
https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmPcT1ZZgeY7nwHaYNLcuKtJfJB2mbX6RkGEsB9CynRJZV
nice odds but i'm sure it will go lower right?

can't see any bookmakers offering bayern munich to win bigger than 1.6 or so , despite the bad bayern munich performance recently especially a big loss of 5-1 to eintracht frankfurt i think they will be able to beat dortmund with 1-0 or 2-1.
this match won't go draw and both teams to score maybe will occured early as it often between these two club the game runs so quick .

i am with you bayern to win , no doubt.
489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do long term holding profitable in all cases? on: November 07, 2019, 06:56:26 PM
Should I continue holding my ethereum? Am a believer of long time holding but am currently beginning to lose faith due to fact that I have been experiencing constant decline in my major coins that I have been holding since late 2017. The coin in question is ethereum which I have been holding since when its value was around $1,300 and now its value is now less than $200 per one.
Should I continue holding my ethereum?
Idk what to say about another coins but still I share the same thoughts on bitcoin, ethereum and on some other ones. Can't 100% surely say that on ethereum but for me on bitcoin it's like a gold rule: Bitcoin will always surpass it's all time high. Was it once 20K? It will be 21 next time, not maybe in 1-2 months but maybe in some years. So to my mind long term holding is profitable, for bitcoin's situation, halving gives me that high hopes cause price went from 600$ to 20k after halving, slowly but it went and was amazing.
Personally I would hold ethereum too or at least sell that when price will rise a little bit to not get serious loss from it.
basically if you looking for a financial advice on your invesment i think it is not a wise action.

giving people random thoughts regarding an altcoins that you have it is just like gambling if you take it seriously and here you go for me ethereum have still a lot of space to grow , hold it la little bit longer always advisable.
the bitcoin pressure on altcoins is not over yet , people and i personally still waiting the moment where ethereum can get back up from the long low price compared to bitcoin that several times back moved up.

ethereum should be the first choice of your long term crypto investment after bitcoin for various reasons include how ethereum 2.0 will be releasesed later in this Q4.
490  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Holds Above $9k on: November 07, 2019, 05:45:10 PM
Let's see if they could attract investors on there crowdsale.

They have a good financial record which means they are profitable and most investors are looking for projects that has a working product already, them, they don't just have a working product but they are profitable as well, its almost a safe and guaranteed investment but let see what are the criteria when the IPO is already live.
poeple start comparing how this profitable how that profitable bla bla bla

aramco well known as the most valueable and profitable company recently eventhough it is still debatable. crazy rich arabian , they are rich by nature less hardwork , hate to say this but that is the truth unfortunately yeah.
wondering if there is any of us here interested to join in the ipo? moving your precious bitcoin and swap it for the one time chance biggest ipo? that should be the safest investment with high probability to get a profit with all those status.

will you? cause i am not doin that especially if i have to cash the bitcoin out, no thanks.
491  Economy / Economics / Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin on: November 07, 2019, 05:10:08 PM
IMO, the Bitcoin exchange rates may go down if there is a crash in the stock market. People will be left with less money and therefore Bitcoin purchases will go down. The existing users will be forced to sell their coins, in order to cover their expenses. Ordinary people are more likely to shift to less risky assets, such as treasury bonds and gold.
aren't we there yet few months ago? when the trade war between china and US happened?

the stocks market fall down so do with bitcoin market nearly reaches its lowest since last year. that is a small picture , if we have to compare it and make a simulation i think the falling of cryptocurrency market is sure inevitable.
gold still become the safe haven as we are still watching the old rich guy living , the next generation will highly considering crypto as their safe haven , just the matter of time.

that is my worst scenario and the crash itself won't recovered in a short time .
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: November 07, 2019, 04:33:48 PM
I will as usual play all today's matches over 0.5 anyone to score
Last time only PSV was without goals

Wish me luck today  Cool
crazy but reasonable haha , good luck to you . maybe i will follow this way with the $10 , whay not?

astana vs az alkmaar 0-1 now at the first 35 minutes , 22 more gamse to go and for me i need az alkmaar to defend current score or even better score more goals as i have them on my list for $50 az alkmaar to win 1.55 , not bad .
tonight matches seems have a good and interested odds for the away teams as most of them favorited to win rather than the home team , easy money? no i think it could be tricky , play a double chance is not a bad idea.

fc porto away , as roma away and celtic or frankfurt away is my choices.
493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins in Jan 2019 vs Nov 2019 on: November 07, 2019, 03:11:58 PM
XRP will go down to zero eventually when people realize what that is. USDT will too. People are just getting caught up with it for a while now and for example BSV got delisted and just like that USDT is getting delisted from many places as well, soon XRP will as well. Why was XRP liked so much?

Because, the company behind it, Ripple was working with many banks and many financial corporations and people wanted to support this coin but there is no dividend, there is no profit sharing so at the end of the day people will realize no matter how big Ripple gets it is not about XRP, it is Ripple profiting from it.

So of course, that stops the price range and people do not buy it anymore as much as they used to. It would have gone down even more if the price wasn't manipulated by the Ripple team so much.
that is a serious speculation -or should i call it an accusation ?-

i do follow the ripple development since the beginning eventhough i do feel there is something wrong with their partnership with some large mainstream corporates/government banks that shows they are developing the coins seems like centralized.
but still it takes more than just that kind accusations to drag ripple price down to the ground as low as even worthless , makes no sense.

give us stronger valid evidence about your speculation, maybe we can discuss further in hope to get some lights about this.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: November 06, 2019, 11:27:42 PM
Bet on the team or players which you know are the best and chances of winning against the opponent is much higher . Though the odds would be low but you will still make some profits and be contained with the profits you make it .
a smart and realistic gambler will do this , instead stake the money randomly.

although the odds will be very low the entire time at least you know what you are doing with your money , the risk will always worth it , bet it carefully is the key if you doing this low odds betting as there is a possibility you will get a lost in the ridiculous low odds.
such way to gamble is safer but doesn't mean it is completely safe!

you will have a better chance to get your +EV, not guaranteed.
495  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 things should not be too in trading on: November 06, 2019, 10:45:08 PM

Chatbox is home of trolls, I never use that in Trading, unless I'm on the mood to troll someone too (lol) or when I am having my pastime. Group signals is helpful when you know how to nurture it, how to derive the equations that's been given by professionals, and if you basically doesn't do anything as a Trader, you know, you are being a baby that is always being spoonfeed by others, then don't expect something great.

Especially the one on Yobit. There was a better one on BTCe but that's long gone.

It's a simple truth in trading that poor people read all the guides and analysis they can get and they are still manipulated and barely earn anything. Rich guys don't need to read TA all they need is visible on the chart as they go and the big supply of money they have does the rest.
trading is about you and yourself , why bother to look at chatbox and get a random advice there lol.

you know nothing about trading if you are trying to get a god help through the chat box , even a desperate trader will stick to their own personal analysis rather than begging for an advice , i mean to consider it as a reference can still be justified.
but when you start trading based on people's opinion, that time you are switching yourself into a game called gambling.
keep in mind that you won't be able to become a good trader who making profit constantly overnight , there is a long way to go through.

learning and develop yourself up is the key , finding what should you do and what shouldn't you do in trading is the best teacher you'll get through trading experience by yourself without bothering people around you, keep moving on no matter you get a straight loss, it is the part of the success procces.
496  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware! You are not safe if you are using facebook! on: November 06, 2019, 10:09:30 PM
I started to think about this when Facebook is trying to update your profile.
They want more information about you. That is already a signal that something is being cooked which could not be nice.
Although I doubt the CIA is a part of them, it could be used for looking at relatives and photos.
Yes, the CIA could do that. It will be a problem for Mark if he wont give them the information specially when a large criminal or a syndicate is being traced.

Lucky for those who dont have any account with Facebook.
the third party application could access to your data easily in facebook.

CIA could make it even more easier! the speculation about how dangerous facebook has been exploited its user privacy is not something just a baseless speculation. in the big data era exchanging user data is a common thing and facebook abusing it with buggy policiy.
i have deleted my facebook account few years ago when they caught selling data under the table and make a crucial winning for donald trum non sense presidential campaign 3 years ago.

if you feel insecure with your bitcoin under surveillance of CIA , there is no harm to completely stay away from buggy facebook!
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: November 06, 2019, 09:40:02 PM
Wow, Juventus managed to gain access on the final stage on Champions League, winning the 4th match of 6 at the 93° minute.
The match is the kind of matches that I hate when a team plays behind the ball for all the time and they hope to win with a counterattack, they almost did.

Douglas Costa won the game in the end with a collaboration with Higuain.
Higuain the best man for Juventus.

Next match will determine who will end the group as 1st, it will be Juventus vs Atletico in Turin.
certainly juventus , atletico madrid currently lost 2-0 to bayern leverkusen.

the real question is who will qualify for the next round alongside juventus , as leverkusen have 6 points now and atletico madrid 7 points. a tough match and pressure will be on atletico madrid side but still everything could be turned around until the last match.
competitive group here! just like the group H where ajax, chelsea and valencia have the same 7 points.

anyway did you see that goal from douglas costa? that was stunning! another late goal for juventus.
498  Economy / Economics / Re: What's it like to live on crypto instead of Banks? on: November 06, 2019, 09:13:34 PM
It could be great to be independent of banks but I'm afraid that is still not possible. Majority of us still gets salary in fiat and have some fixed expenses like house loans or remts, bills etc. With such obligations it's hard to depend only on cryptocurrencies. Even if you have fixed income in Bitcoin because of volatility that is too risky to count on. So only very rare can make enough for living only with crypto and can be independent from banks.
why not? crypto can do all of those things .

we have so many platform that allow you to pay any bills through cryptocurrency , you can also receive your salary in cryptocurrency as some mainstream company have tried to do this and if your company did not allow you to get paid in cryptocurrency which i think the majority still do the fiat salary of course , don't worry you can try bitwage , a platform that allow you to convert you slary into digital asset/cryptocurrency.

we are living in the digital era where cryptocurrency could be the center of it really soon.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in High School Syllabus on: November 06, 2019, 08:30:41 PM
Don't you mean blockchain technology? Yes eventually it will be taught at school and they will be learning about us. We are the pioneer I wonder how long in the future schools will start teaching this stuff.
Remember it still needs to be adopted so those kids learning these lessons the future wish they could be us right now since we all got in early. It is still not too late.
developed countries are competing to claim everything as the first .

i mean for example there in france where they maybe become the first country who applying that policy to educate the young generation about what the future could be with blockchain technology , for the sake knowledge they take that risk.
where any other non-developed countries rejecting bitcoin entirely ... this is very obvious that developed country become more advanced and the non-developed countries become more left behind.

this is the matter of mindset , france is the one who one step ahead of us, this risk will be worth in the future!
France not adopt bitcoin as legal currency but they have try for giving access for their student to learn with bitcoin by make crypto as syllabus subject in the school, they have good innovation for the future before accepting bitcoin as legal currency with know first for their people. Many school not focus with real subject needed by student and give bullshit subject have to learn by student but bitcoin is the best way for adopting in the school.
yessss they are preparing for that mass adoption to come.

it is something that never crossed in our mind to have a formal education applied in the high school, this is just brilliant idea! they knew that the future is in this blockchain based technology and they take it seriously by doing this.
i can see how serious they are developing the blockchain industry if you take a look to the early years when there is a lot of crypto project popping up and involved french customer , the french government make a quick move by setting some regulations instead make it simple to ban bitcoin just like any other country in a non-developed countries in asia.

they are so open-minded , not really conservative welcoming a new thing like bitcoin.
500  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: November 06, 2019, 08:14:10 PM
So today they have the same promo and this will be again under 6.5 as I don't see Juve to score more than 3 goals at Moscow and Real Madrid won't score more than 3 goals to Galatasaray so it will be even 5 or 6 goals. My guess today is that we will have again a lot of both team to score like we had last night and maybe a big surprise like Red Star Belgrad wins against Tottehnam and I'm kinda excited about this game.

The bad things is that I have only 2 NHL games tonight and a lot on NBA but NBA is kinda boring this year...
I was about to pick the market and it changed to 5.5 LOL
Now it's looking very competitive

real madrid just scored the first goal early in the game at 4' and the second goal at 7' through rodrygoes omg.

they play offensively as they need a win badly to seal the group stage qualification, i think over 5.5 goals for this special offer will very soon happened, juventus vs lokomotiv moscow 2-1 , it is 3 goals.
it's not a bad offer at all , real madrid is underestimated lately after the terrible performance in the start of the season.
but i think they are back up now ready to scoring 4-5 goals in a single game destroying their opponent as good as the last season.

edit : over 5.5 goals achieved! real madrid leading 3-0 now!
