281  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will Bitcoin do next in the near term? on: January 06, 2020, 05:45:42 AM
In Bitcoin land most of the gains are booked within a very small time frame. It wouldn't really surprise me that the actual pumping starts just a month before the halving, then sell off a day or two before the actual halving (sell the news event), then trend up from there and really explode later on.

Sellers are going to front run one another knowing the event is coming. In 2016, BTC crashed 30% 3-4 weeks before the halving. With Litecoin earlier this year, it crashed nearly 2 months before. This makes timing impossible.

I do not believe that the halving is priced in yet, but what does somewhat bother me is that so many more people are focusing on events nowadays. There is no shortage of youtubers and whatnot pointing out the block halving, certain pattern formations, etc.

People always focus on events, news, etc. It's just the easiest way for their brain to justify price movements. That'll never change. The prevailing sentiment I see is still "the halving is already priced in" which bodes well for Q1.
just be ready for the upset.
instead the bitcoin price warming up to increase welcoming the bitcoin halving in the next few months.
it could turns worst , i expect a slight drop right before the halving .

but then 2 or 3 months later start the rally to the new all time high.
is that what most people wanted? a new all time high? but forgot that there is a consequences, a risk behind the price to reach the new ATH.

someone must be suffering huge lost .

HAHAHAHA Everton are a bunch of clowns! They used their best starting XI in a FA Cup game, and they still lost to Liverpool C Team LOOL

I saw 'Liverpool to WIN' @2.70 earlier today and I thought, nah i'll wait until the lineups are confirmed. To my surprise, the odds went up and that's when i couldn't resist going with Pool, I mean, Everton haven't won at Anfield in 20 years, why would that change now?  Grin

I was so confident about that bet slip that I threw 3 units on it  Cool

well done. guess why the odds is so high? liverpool lost to aston villa few weeks ago in carabao league cup 5-0 with similar lineup , the difference is that liverpool play at home and against stronger team. shame on everton lost to bunch of kids with ancelotti as a coach.

you have some balls there to put 10mbtc for liverpool straight win.

1-0 a proud winning for the liverpool kids lol.
the odds were still high although liverpool leading in the match ,everybody thought the match should end with a draw,  bookies really understand how to make money there.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 05, 2020, 04:14:38 PM
This year is very strange here on Seria A.

Can Lazio fight till the end for the Scudetto? So far they seem to be able to do it.
Keep also in mind they have 1 less game, so they can earn more points.

But is only merit of Lazio or are they trying to keep the League fun?

Penalty leaderboard

Lazio 11
Inter 6
Juve 4

Penalty Against

Juventus 5
Lazio 2
Inter 1

Stats from: https://www.sportface.it/calcio/serie-a/serie-a-rigori-favore-contro-ecco-classifica-aggiornata/97239

This is very interesting...  Roll Eyes

Balotelli did a strange record on Serie A today.

He was the 1st player on scoring on '10 decade with Inter
He is the 1st players on scoring on '20 decade with Brascia

Maybe he is the only player on the history who can "celebrate" this statistic
thanks for bring some data here.
it was not an accusations at all right? just wondering why it seems everything in lazio favor  Cheesy
whether it is just a coincidence or not , serie a have a dark history about the match fixing with its football mafia around.

so don't blame us who always feel curious about that hehe

balotelli be like -why always me?- lol
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 05, 2020, 02:13:05 PM
Brescia have been struggling to gain points in order to climb up the table from the relegation zone, and Lazio are trying to gain more points in order to catch up with Juventus and Inter Milan. I think the best result for Brescia would be to force a draw against Lazio today but Brescia does not have a good defensive record this season, so I think Lazio will not give up this good opportunity to gain 3 points in this match today.
brescia scored an early goal to surprise lazio ,
but it seems lazio found themselves lucky as brescia got a red card in the first half and lazio make the score 1-1 at the half time.

eventhough they are playing with 10 players brescia successfully make lazio struggle to score the second goal.
i just feel strange that lazio always able to scorea late goal and the referee seems in lazio side.
it was just my feeling but that is the truth.

the match ended 1-2 for lazio and they are on third , 3 points away from the 1st position.
285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: January 05, 2020, 01:05:24 PM
it is very possible for Barca to win the match even though this is a derby match. But if Espanyol can win the match or even end it in a draw, then your decision to skip the match is the right decision.

I don't know why the hell I didn't think skip the match.

I had many doubts that Barcelona would win this game, but then I thought: "There is no way Barcelona to disappoint because he would be facing a team that is in last place and barcelona needed to win the game to take first place...". But it was a complete waste of money. Is the second time I lose money by betting on a Barcelona game
no i think everybody has no doubt that barcelona goin to win over espanyol who basically are really struggle at the very bottom of the table , but shit happens. the unexpected result come as espanyol seems have an extra power besides extra players due the de jong red card.

eventhough they get a draw , barcelona still on the top of table have the same point of 40 but real madrid lost a goals difference.

barcelona next match is against granda at camp nou while real madrid have to visit mestalla.
still i think both teams will get a win.
eventhough real madrid are on harder situation.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: How the situation in Iran might impact Bitcoin on: January 05, 2020, 12:10:23 PM
As far as I know, when there is a war, people are taking their money out of the stock market because they fear of instability.
Not everyone and not necessarily.  Sometimes during times of war, investors start buying up defense stocks and related ones.

In any case, I'm not even up to speed on what's going on in Iran at the moment and I only heard about Trump ordering a hit on someone over there by reading a thread on bitcointalk.  That's sad--I've got to pull up a news site after I write this post.  But as far as bitcoin is concerned, I don't think war is going to affect its price all that much unless it's an all-out world war, and I don't think that's going to happen because of a situation with Iran.  It's not like the US and Iran have ever been that friendly, and we almost attacked Syria a few years ago under the Obama administration.  That was after bitcoin was created and it didn't seem to have much of an effect.

But we'll see.  And I'm hoping Trump doesn't do anything even more stupid before he gets kicked out of office.
trump has nothing to lose now , he won't get elected in the next presidential election for sure and using his last power to do crazy things with trump style.

here is i quoted from the trump dumb tweet to trigger something crazy :
"We have ... targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture" and "if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets... Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD,"

it seems the world war would be kicked-off when trump really do that, and guess what?
all the market will shut down closed for unspecified time.
but for now things did not have any big impact.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League 2020 !! on: January 05, 2020, 11:48:15 AM

what happened? They were winning 3 - 0 in the first half of the game, I cannot believe they conceded 3 goals in 30 minutes in the second half.

no way port vale wins over manchester city even with the reserve team, pep side always surprising.

I start thinking that Manchester City may also draw or lose

surprise surprise surprise!
watford play too opened after they lead 3-0 they are underestimated tranmere rovers and the consequence is that 3 goals comeback.
they will learn something from the match as they should not let this happened in the league , they are under threat to relegated, well done tranmere successfully forced a replay match at their home, it could be a game changer.

i was thinking when port vale equalized the score that they have the capability to hold for a draw.
but manchester city response are so quick , they are continuously making chances to score and the result at the end is a big gap .

at least we have seen a good football where the small teams make a set-off.
288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good sign for market on: January 04, 2020, 03:05:52 PM
The price still moving not far from the last month. We are still stuck at $7,200-$7,400, with no signs that we will be moving farther. The current price isn't making huge adjustments but not bad at all when comparing how we start last year at $3,000 plus. It is pretty much clear to think that 2020 is getting more interesting. And confidently enough that we are able to reach beyond $10k this year if the market will steadily move like this. Not included in how halving can do.
this is altcoins season for the next 6 months , even when the bitcoin halving occured within 5 months.

people also thinking that the attack on iranian commander qassem soleimani has influenced the price locally especially in localbitcoin where someone selling/buying bitcoin for $20000 , this is not makes sense for the long term but yes maybe a temporary one.

i expecting $10000 in the next 6 months at the very best bitcoin performance.
still too much uncertainity. that is what makes investors come and go quickly.
289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: English Premier League 2020 !! on: January 04, 2020, 01:11:32 PM
Talking about FA Cup, today I saw this:

It's not every day we get a chance to see this (Watford being much more favorite in the odds)

Wolverhampton Wanderers Vs Manchester United

It's a high risk game  Grin

And now seriously, my surprise will be if Port Vale wins Manchester City:

lol watford being underdog for the first 20 league matches and yes this is rare but also a good opportunity to make money on 11x multiplier haha
no way port vale wins over manchester city even with the reserve team, pep side always surprising.

speaking about FA cup

now playing at minutes 39

Birmingham City 1 - 0 Blackburn Rovers

Bristol City 1 - 0 Shrewsbury Town

Burnley 3 - 1 Peterborough United

Millwall 1 - 0 Newport County

Rochdale 0 - 1 Newcastle United

Rotherham United 1 - 1 Hull City

Source: https://www.calcionews24.com/prossimo-turno-serie-a-partite/

Big match is ofcourse Naples vs InterMilan.
Sanchez will be back on Inter squad list.
sanchez will stay at the bench until it is necessary to put him in the line up as the lukaku and martinez duo are in the beast mode , it could affected the chemistry that both had currently, i won't surprised if alexis sanchez will become a super-sub in the next couple of matches.

the head to head show that lazio often gets draw in away matches but not this time , this season they are superb.
as roma vs torino , it seems as roma far more in better shape , it should be a clear win for as roma.

and everybody will pay attention on when ibrahimovic will make debut at milan, against sampdoria always become a tough match for ac milan even it is at home. statistically ac milan must win the match , they need to get up into a better position on the serie a table.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 30, 2019, 03:49:58 PM

Can we just declare that Liverpool is the champions already? I mean first of all I don't see any other team getting a huge 10+ winning streak to close the gap, thats not happening at all, however even if one team goes out and wins every single match from now until the end, I am %99 sure liverpool is not going to lose 16 possible points until the season ends, few ties here and there maybe and maybe one or two loss but not a 16 point loss in total. In my eye its mathematically impossible now, I know thats not technically true but if someone wagered me 100 billion dollars for it I would accept the bet and said Liverpool is taking it and wouldn't even hesitate for a second for it, thats as guaranteed as it gets in the world of football.
It was impossible until someone did realized that.
You know liverpool always doubted to win the english premier league every year since the millenium era approximately 20 years ago but they continue working hard and make it happen today with incredible records on going , all of these are impossible that day.

Today you can say there is no way other club can win 10 streaks and takeover liverpool. But later , the future can change unexpectedly.

I believe in the miracle of football , catching up 20 points is not impossible. Manchester city has the ability to do that.

I haven't ever bet on goal scorer and I am new to this kind of betting.
I just checked the odds for second goal scorer in the game between Burnley and Manchester United

Why are there two different odds for each of players?

that is weird .

different odds on the same market. could be a temporary bug because of your internet connection?
the lag sometimes confusing me too when i use a poor internet connection on the live betting as the site at some devices seems a bit heavy to load, the odds failed to load and ended up with my browser crashed lol.

since i used my old laptop to logged in , should sportsbet.io have a light version? or should i upgrade my laptop? lol

I've always seen it since I first bet on SportsBet, this option is available during live matches
I have confirmed via live chat and they say there is no problem you can bet on one of them

really? they say that?
why they placed the lower odds along with the higher one together but it is all the same, it sounds doesn't makes sense to me. anybody can explain this one?
is it kind of odds booster in different form?  Cheesy

really , what does that mean steve?

Yes there is a small error in the system but it doesn't have any impact you can choose one of them, please check in the next match that it might not happen again
If you are not sure, please ask in live chat you will get the same answer
Oh well a minor issue.
I have those minor issues popping up in my screen though sometimes such as unclickable market, a duplicate betslip etc they fixed it immediately.
but it appears again sometimes , i am not sure if it was an error from my side or sportsbet.io , considering it is did not affected the result , i dont have to report it all the time right? Hehe

I think this possible or not possible discussion is going nowhere. The season is still long so maybe discussing it on the last 10 games is better than now.

Anyway, Arsenal vs Chelsea is going to be interesting. Let's see if Arteta did change the way Arsenal play and whether Lampard can bring back the winning form of Chelsea again.
of course this going to save you a couple bucks to withdraw your money on manchester city to win the premier league  Cheesy especially if pep giardiola leaving manchester city for barcelona early than expected , they are fucked up for sure at the end of the season.

but yes let's skip that for a while and look for the closest events.

both teams need a win after disappointed boxing day result, the odds for both are really interesting too.
chelsea should be more careful if they don't want to slip and fall to outside the champions league position , they won't win the match , a draw is good one for them. i think it is gonna be a draw in both halves even 0-0 ?
295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is fooling around with btc Price? on: December 29, 2019, 06:24:44 AM
Here is a good tip for you,

Whether you are trading cryptos, stocks, futures, commodities or what not. Don't trade the days between Christmas and New Years. Why? Because there is very little liquidity. Most of the large whales are on vacation because who wants to sit all day trading during the holidays and markets get erratic.

This is what we are seeing right now. Basically today earlier we got a sweep of the lows and yesterday we got a sweep of the highs, its a very tight ranging market and it will chop you up if you try and trade it. Wait until like January 5th to trade.
did you know that the real whales do holiday everyday lol

christmas just the little part of it but people continue correlating the big money are on hold because of the holiday break , i will say it is just a coincidence. need a proof? just look at the chart , the price on each desember of 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2018 always in different situation.

sometimes bullish , sometimes bearish. sometimes fall and sometimes it goes wild up.
which means there is nothing to do with the holiday break, i mean okay there is a little impact because of the holiday spending, but i won't say it has a huge impact caused, it was just usual move.

Leicester won West Ham at home was one of the amazing win of the weekend,  I think Leicester can now be termed as title contender with what they are doing,   if Liverpool fail to win tomorrow it's gonna be a huge point gain for Leicester

I think we have just passed the half-way mark and anything can happen.

Liverpool have that amazing 17 wins and 1 draw record from their opening 18 EPL games. Leicester City have played 20 games and are 10 points behind. If Liverpool win their 2 games in hand they could 16 points ahead.

Still lots to play for and anything can happen but it is very difficult to look beyond Liverpool as EPL champions especially after Wolverhampton Wanderers bear Manchester City 3-2
we have seen a half-season champion leading 13 points but at the end of the season losing all those 13 points leading even worse left 9 points at the end of the season , it was when manchester united takeover 1st place from arsenal, forgot what year it is but it has occured a team that leading 13 points did not get the title at the end of the season.

but this possible 16 points leading? and the chaser are leicester?

i have a lot of doubts to see liverpool falling, they are the champion of english premier league with 70% proggress. i leave that 30% for the miracle in football that everyone knew -anything can happen'
but realistically the title this year seems belong to liverpool .
298  Economy / Economics / Re: ASIAN CRYPTO FRIENDLY COUNTRIES on: December 28, 2019, 07:17:36 AM
Most Asian countries engaged bitcoin, and above all countries this 3 countries already made to the top, this countries are:
JAPAN
SINGAPORE
HONG KONG
As of the present this countries served as the heart cryptocurrency in Asia.

Source:
https://medium.com/@manager_77257/top-crypto-and-blockchain-friendly-asian-countries-part-2-70d684b95393
as far as I know, Japan and Singapore are the countries that accept Bitcoin the most,
Japan is very concerned about technology and Singapore is one country with an open mind, both countries are very accepting of Bitcoin even though many other countries reject it and afraid.
Usually developed countries in Asia are always more advanced in terms of technology, able and willing to adopt the progress. as well as bitcoin they are very supportive of the convenience provided. to my knowledge Japan and Singapore are the most ready countries and there are some countries that have also been able to accept but are still constrained by regulations that have not yet been formed.
i have visited singapore a lot of times , they are the most crypto friendly in asia.

a lot of crypto project registered and operated there. even though i don't see there is a lot of restaurants or bar that publicly reveal that they are accepting bitcoin as a payment, i am sure there is a lot of merchants willing to accept bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency as a payment processor if you talk and ask them.

the bitcoin atm also pretty much available near some malls , forgot which one but i found 3 of them.
singapore simply a very friendly for those who looking for settling crypto business.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: December 28, 2019, 06:50:41 AM
Luck is an invention used to describe somebody defying the odds, it doesn't correlate with different times of the year.

If you think that performing risky bets has any greater chance of succeeding on particular days then you're likely going to go bankrupt very soon.

Superstition will get you rekt.
superstitions put you in more pressure as you feel overconfident but the result are always disappointing. people still believe in that kind situation to gamble lol we are heading 2020 where the world moving fast but you guys ironically slowing down .

gamble like a boss, have $100 free to play , 1 or two games doubled it down twice by $100 to $200 and $200 to $400 and then disappear.
don't gamble like a junkey, have $100 won it 10x to $1000 but lost in the end to $0 , as you feel been lucky before then you deposit and try another round , lost it again and repeat. you are a dumb junkey if you do this.

be realistic instead be irrational like that, new year same you.

also for the first time in pep guardiola history to lost ball possession of 63%-37%

Well, you can't expect your opponent to sit tight when they have one extra man to destroy you, especially at home.

I was surprised to see the result tbh, I'm expecting Wolves to force City to a draw but this is better than expected.
did you know that pep guardiola has a crazy stats on ball possession even there is 1 man down since he was managed barcelona and bayern munich? that is why i call this is the first time in pep guardiola history, it is not usual to have that 37% for him.

i was even only expected for the wolves to score 1 goal only and 1-2 for the manchester city winning at full time as i knew that pep guardiola is something! they usually losing possesion of 45% or 40% when they even play with ten men.

adama traore at it again with those goal and assist!he is the man of the match, as usual.
