Coinhumper you are a jerk. It's people like you that fuck up delicate situations....

Waaah! The site is temporarily down, let's go and sue everybody until they make crypto exchanges illegal.

You are the guy who who would press the fire alarm in a hookah lounge for no reason other than that people are smoking.
1282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the Point from these GIVEAWAY Threads? on: December 14, 2013, 06:17:40 PM
I have in nearly every thread.

This is promotion distribution of new coins. You will need a properly synced client of the coin in question.

What's next, Rule 34 coin?

The motto should be : "You had a paperwallet, now you have paper! "
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] Guess LTC Price a year from now on: December 13, 2013, 06:40:27 PM
My guess is around 300 dollars. Litecoin will probably remain relevant for a long time but eventually other cryptos will surpass it. The same thing will probably happen to bitcoin.
1286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange with ZERO FEES for beta on: December 12, 2013, 06:23:21 PM
Looking forward to the improved site.  I'll be mining elsewhere until the site comes back up.  72 hours is a long time.

This is all relative. 3 days isn't that long for people waiting for a movie or a book to release.... Fans of Game of Thrones had to wait 6 years for a dance with dragons.

3 Days is no big deal... In fact you can make them pass really fast.... If you're a male and about average weight around 3000mg of seroquel will put you to sleep for about that long (don't try this).

You could also go out on a camping trip for 3 days, that'd be pretty awesome.

You could also type a very long post that would take you three days to post, the possibilities are endless.

1287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange with ZERO FEES for beta on: December 11, 2013, 11:56:19 PM
upgrade in progress. keep calm and carry on.
added a catch-all page that says we're upgrading and links to this thread and our twitter account.

Thank you!

When fees are implemented what happens to all the donators?

Please keep the fees lower than cryptsy if it is possible for the exchange to still work! A 0.1% fee either way would be great.

Alternatively you can offer a premium account where you pay a set amount of money each month and have no trading fee. 5 mBTC  a month or so seems logical.

It would also be nice to be able to buy time that is free of fees very flexibly, such as for a single day to a whole year.

1288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SXC Sexcoin exploding on: December 10, 2013, 09:28:23 PM
Crash is imminent. Get out while you can!

Not necessarily. It can go either way.

It is a gamble. Personally I just have 100 of them... It is nearly 30 dollars, an insignificant amount (not for wage slaves who would work around 3 hours to get if of course).

There is no safe money to hold. Some lose value vary slowly, much like the dollar but consistently. There is the safe path (BTC (relatively safe) ) (Dollar (losing its value slowly)).

Holding SXC at this point is pure speculation. I enjoy this kind of gambling and there is a lot of potential even though the crypto has very limited functionality for the porn industry.

Don't underestimate psychology. While this coin was clearly created by greed, it can serve a purpose, however trivial that may seem.
1289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] New coin on: December 10, 2013, 01:24:38 PM
BitchCoin specs

55,000,000 total coins
block target 1 second
block reward 100,000 coins on blocks 1-10
                    50,000 coins on blocks        11-1000
0.00001 coins on blocks  1001 and after

Oooops! I accidentally instamined this coin until block 12000, I'm releasing the client anyway... At least I only insta-mined it for a day. It's totally legit guys!

1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations on: December 10, 2013, 12:33:33 PM
I traded a bunch of my coins to get anoncoins, both are climbing but ZET just went so high so fast....

I had 33k Zet now I only have about 100!
1291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Which Alt Coin will see the most growth in 2014? on: December 09, 2013, 01:10:17 AM
I am behind Anoncoin because it is all about privacy through darknet nodes and coin-mixers.....I like that path

Trading altcoins must be nearly equivalent to gambling....
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow on: December 09, 2013, 12:59:39 AM
I must resist adopting yet another altcoin....

Damn this one has a puppy.

In all seriousness this is pretty pointless isn't it?
1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [FZ] Frozen | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 09, 2013, 12:39:09 AM
No true innovation, I wouldn't mess with this shit.....

Just adopt other coins that have reasons for existing... Anoncoin comes to mind.....
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin ideas on: December 08, 2013, 10:37:03 PM
a coin where the block value, double instead of halving

So basically a worthless coin..... Let's pretend bitcoin was like that.....

First  4 years ~10 Million BTC
First  8 years ~20 .............
first 12 years ~40 .............
first 24 years ~320 ...........
first 48 years ~10.24 Billion
1295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Anoncoin to the moon on: December 08, 2013, 10:15:53 PM
Anoincoin should be the first one to surpass bitcoin in value.

Coins that can be mined with ASICS are unfair and when bitcoin launched the idea of cryptocurrencies wasn't widely spread.

Anoncoin is still easy to mine and easy to distribute widely.

If anoncoin can work on the darknet it can protect anonymity in a much stronger way than bitcoin breathing life into it.

It has an existential reason, unlike a lot of the other cryptos today.

While I am not anonymous in this forum. I find increasingly necessary the right to be anonymous, whether to donate to whom I wish to donate, or buy something that I would like to keep private.

Anoncoin has another advantage, in that it isn't divided into 100 quadrillion coins divisible by 100 million each....

Seriously, when a coin can spit into a 100 Million each rather than 100 you would think that'd be enough... You could easily cut coins lower and I believe that can provide an incentive to offload small transactions off the blockchain.

The truth is that BTC halving every 4 years was a mistake, there needs to be way more time for people to adopt it before the whole reward drops below the floor... The ASIC craze just sped that up immensely, that was never intended to happen (Satoshi wanted a gentleman's agreement not to GPU mine BTC). Anoncoin can be a second chance for many people.

Are there any plans for this coin? Getting shops to accept it and such?

(PS: Topic starter: Last activity: November 09, 2013, 07:16:31)

I accept it but I have no stock.... Anyway here are the only two things I will have in stock in 3 weeks...

A compass (not a moral one) for 300 TGC (including shipping inside the USA)
Mosquito repellent patches 2 per packet, last 48 hours, 5 packets per order 500 TGC (including shipping inside the USA)

(Pictures and videos coming) I'll have a very slow start by the way, but in the future I aim to be selling gadgets like that of my choice for crypto for fun and to provide a service, I may even make some of my own stuff)

Something I can send now with limited stock is some of my own tabasco peppers 300 TGC with shipping, 5 tabasco peppers, dried (they are tiny).

Also 1 laser pointer 5mw with a led light (it's a keychain) for 300 TGC shipped (I only have a few and I use them as toys)

I only ship to the USA.

I always wonder why there hasn't been a virus hidden into an altcoin yet... It's ridiculous....

Be very careful with altcoins.....
1299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Perfect time for Anoncoin on: December 08, 2013, 06:34:24 PM
I believe that in light of the current news now is a perfect time for a more widespread adoption of Anoncoin. In my opinion ANC is priced way below its true value at the moment and now is a perfect time to buy in with your downtrodden BTC.

I can see Anoncoin doubling in value or more by years end so would make a solid investment.

Cryptsy is the best exchange to get ANC - definitely study the charts and you'll see that an up trend is more than likely on the cards!

I agree, I sold about 33000 ZET at it's peak price (for today) and bought 140 anon coins and about 10 bitcents...

Anon coin is pretty scarce so it is a steal to get them at a pricepoint below 1 bitcent....
1300  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Libertarians and gun rights activits here is how the rest of the world sees you on: December 08, 2013, 03:28:18 PM
Well, guns are necessary for survival up in Alaska.

The way I see it there needs to be an evaluation and a waiting period with a licence and gun & ammo registration.

The holder of the licence will have to keep descriptions of the safety measures kept and how the bullets were generally expended. (Hunting, stored, etc).
Any falsification on the form should be considered for taking back or placing restrictions on the licence.

I don't see why people need guns in cities and urban areas, especially those who do not need to hunt to survive... (If more than 80% of the meat you consume is store bought, you don't really need to hunt).

I had a lot of anarchist friends. Anarchism in Greece is a response to the crappiest, ultra-corrupt government of Greece. Huge loans were taken and politicians (presidents and others) took billions of euros in personal accounts. (That is why Greece has such a huge debt problem).

If the government is super bad, (North Korea level badness) anarchism is the fastest solution for the short-term. Anarchism would never work unless there were decentralized governments all over the place with the gaps in between being anarchist free-lands. (Go out of the limit of the city and get raped and beaten) all free of charge (legal).
