wow, I'm the sucker that bought at .15 BTC just a moment ago  Grin.

Anyway, if anyone is selling 0.11 I'm more than willing to buy!
1362  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [NEW] ANTANA BITCOINS – First Physical Statistic Coin! [300coins/Batch] on: September 20, 2013, 11:03:42 PM
Exchange rate but don't use the dollar or euro symbol on the coin! Small and discreet, as if it isn't really a big deal! usd and euro or just usd.
1363  Other / Meta / Re: Activity doesn't seem to be refreshing, are there caps? on: September 20, 2013, 03:38:00 AM
I had activity 56 since September 7.... Waiting for the next fortnight.
1364  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [NEW] ANTANA BITCOINS – First Physical Statistic Coin! [300coins/Batch] on: September 20, 2013, 03:32:50 AM
Maybe good idea is that every coin from batch have it's own number from 1-300 ? To emphasize the uniqueness of coins  Smiley

...and price of each coin will be around $200 Smiley

I got my coins and I'm really happy!

I have to say, if you want to play around  with the coins (like me) get a few of them. I have 2 of each batch and I really like them. One statistic that I would like to see is the usd price on every coin even if small and pushed somewhere off-center. Maybe USD and Euro.

I really like the concept of having a part of bitcoin history on a coin.

Numbering each coin 1-300 is unnecessary.
1365  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] George's Famous Baklava - baklava for bitcoins! *Free silver dimes!* on: September 17, 2013, 02:09:49 AM
Just updated with a free silver dime promo! For every 3 lbs of baklava you order & pay in btc I'll send you a silver dime! I have a few dime card lying around, too, and I'll start with those first. Smiley Thanks!

I didn't even know about that! I recently bought 6 lbs of chocolate baklava from you! I'm also Greek and baklava was never one of my favorite desserts (Bougatsa being my favorite) but I love dark chocolate and since you're a bitcoin store I thought I'd try it out. Your price is great, (I'll do a comparison with the Hellas bakery if I can (I don't particularly like their baklava, but I do like most of their other stuff).

I'm thinking of preparing and selling tabasco peppers but unfortunately I eat and give away tons of them (I love spicy stuff). I'd love to meet you one day so if you plan on showing up in tarpon springs in old people (I meant pinellas) county just contact me.

I'm the historian of the hellenic society of spc (Greek Club) and I would love to have an event where you could make food for us on campus (the fucking annoying SGA (student government) would never allow this. Or of campus (The SGA can suck a ****)

I can't wait to get your order, if it gets here soon it will be the first non-digital good I've ever bought with bitcoin!

Edit: I just saw your post is pretty old!, I don't care about the silver, I have some already in bullion bars!
1366  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Florida, Tarpon Springs Meetup! on: September 16, 2013, 01:07:25 AM
If anyone's interested, we can set a date and time here!

I will be in Dunedin the end of this month.

Nice! I'm the historian of the Hellenic society at my college and also a volunteer at the local primate center so I'm pretty busy, but for BTC I'll make myself available.

Since there are no people, we can meet at either the Tarpon Springs Public library or at the library at Dunedin!

WTF? A library I was thinking more like Kelly's in Dunedin Casa Tinas , fish Market or Smokehouse or along that lines in Tarpon  Springs.  You will find me there most evenings if I am not sitting on Honeymoon island as this is my vacation week.

Will also be down for Christmas In Our Town in Dunedin in December.

Interesting... How about the Saint petersburg college tarpon springs campus?

What hosting service are you going to use for the website mintedstone?

I'm making a website and I'm going to use bitronic tech, the website I'm making will probably be up in around a month from now (for the Hellenic Society of my college).
I think they have pretty good prices and you can pay using bitcoin.

Is there a fix for the windows 7 issue where the wallet client stops downloading the blockchain?

Do you register domains?

Someone called gothicnoble just threw 250GH/s at the coin on http://tgc.sonicrules.org

Would that be an attack?

I hope not!

I'm very busy with my college duties but if there is a suspected attack going on, PM me and I'll throw 30GH/s at the coin....

Maybe a list should be loosely maintained of people that can prevent 51% attacks until the coin takes off!

No I don't think there are any attacks on this coin. Everything is fine. Smiley

I get "no block source" while I'm connected to the network and block downloading/ verifying is not progressing.

Any nodes I can add using the console?
Would that help?

Edit: I added a few nodes. It seems I only have 2 connections to the network.... I'm on block 10063, I'll check if there is any progress later, I think there will be!
Edit: Is the issue being caused by nodes not having upgraded to v1.1?

Thanks all for your orders, really appreciate it. Enjoy your purchase!
Orders combined with third batch will be shipped tomorrow.

Third BATCH #126 "God save the Mt. Gox" is available. Handling and shipping - 1 work day.

Fourth BATCH #127 "Regulations? Try me" is in status PRE-ORDER. Shipping in 1 week

Count me interested! Do you have an option where I can pay now and you ship to me in 3 batches or so so that I don't pay high shipping fees?

1372  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [NEW] ANTANA BITCOINS – First Physical Statistic Coin! [300coins/Batch] on: September 13, 2013, 12:02:30 AM
Could you make custom coins?

I'd like to make a very small amount of about 5 tokens that are going to be for the hellenic society, One for the Historian, President, Treasurer, Secretary and such and such....
We are a college organization so we're naturally broke! If you could make them I'd give you 0.05 BTC (Silver or gold plating would be great)

I'm their historian/PR.

I'm only saying this because I see you doing this really cool business of making coins. The Hellenic society would definitely stand out if we get badges/coins for our elected officials!

I would like the coins to say President in Greek and English (or English and Greeklish). Do you do such things?
It would be more of a donation of your services because SGA doesn't give much....

The design would be an owl, and the title (2013/2014) Hellenic Society, St. Petersburg College, Tarpon Campus.
It can have a similar design to the Drachma coin with the owl!

I seem to have 23 active connections to the tigercoin network but only 8 to the bitcoin network which is nearly a 300% difference...
What gives? Obviously bitcoin is a larger network so I don't see why I have less connections to it.

I'm interested in the content of this speech.

I thought there was no proof that the chemical weapons were used by Assad's regime... Does he appear to be making this fairy-tale up?
1377  Other / Meta / Re: Kyle91 on: September 11, 2013, 11:53:00 AM
I propose posts being marked as useless/ no content. If a user accumulates enough of these they lose rank, the posts should also not count under the regular postcount.

There needs to be a system where a post has some sort of classification.

No-one can be a true hero member if all they posted was 1000 posts in the newbie section saying "hello" over a 6 month long period of time.

This is serious flaw in this forum's ranking system, one that needs to be fixed.

Grin just got super block with 512 tiger  Grin

"A man was found dead earlier today in his home when suddenly an immense pack of tigers  appeared out of thin air. Professional ecologist Dr. Minted Stone found traces of many different kinds of tigers including many that were presumed extinct in the 20th century such as the giant Siberian tiger which can weigh nearly a third ton or 660 pounds and the relatively small 200 pound Balinese tiger. This event was unprecedented as tigers have not been known to live in North America nor appear in such concentrations. Many dismissed the story as a hoax until they found a brutal video of the men's death circulating on the Internet along with a forum post that was dated to minutes before his death. The source of the video appears to be the US Government. The NSA denies having the capability to spy and record people's webcams but some conspiracy theories exist that the NSA is giving large sums of money to Microsoft and Skype as well as other big companies to include spyware in their chat programs. While the source of the video is unclear the content is clearly authentic as verified by our channel's experts and the uncensored footage will be found in our website later today."

Does anyone have a tool to convert difficulty to network hashrate?
1380  Other / Off-topic / Re: Wow...so sad....dont even want to post in the title what happened. on: September 11, 2013, 01:06:07 AM
I volunteer at the Suncoast Primate Sanctuary. Many of the monkeys can flip on you and try to hurt you.

Our rules and the way the areas are built visitors cannot have any potential contact with any of the monkeys. The same goes for volunteers unless you have stayed there for more than a few months and got written permission from a doctor.

You can tape alligators mouth shut at this facility with simple training but with monkeys you have to just get a feel for them.

I still have both of my testicles by the way.

The zoo may be to blame if they allowed the monkeys or a savage monkey to get so close to the baby.
Monkeys are very intelligent and if they want to get you and have access to you, they'll get you.

One of our volunteers has lost many pairs of expensive glasses to the monkeys, they can be very fast and intelligent.
