Well it helped me to distribute some non-fungible merits. I wish I had been able to spend a bit more time with the system.

I spent 500 for random accounts. It has been useful, because it has led me to look at post histories for a few members that I hadn't read. I've even awarded a few merits for posts that I thought were worth it - is that ethical?

I bought an ex-RAF LDV Convoy crew bus, with fewer than 100,000 miles on the clock. It has a 2-4 litre diesel engine as fitted to the Ford Transit, so parts are easy to find. Although it is a 2005 model, it has and ODB2 analyser socket. I bought it for £700 with MOT certificate etc. It's rated at 3.5 tonnes, so I can add wood fittings inside, and not bother about the weight, and I've bought a new wood burner for the winter.
I hope to kit it out for solar powered mining using a Raspberry pi with USB sticks. That is more for education than revenue, as I expect it will not be profitable. I want to move into the van, and continue to get rid of properties that are millstones at the moment. I'll post some more info and pictures when the van looks a bit better.

Mucus is part of the body's front line defences, so it doesn't make sense to imply a person is infected, when out innate immune system has trapped a virus, and is disposing of it. Positive results can also be derived from virus particles resulting from dead viruses killed by apoptosis. It would be much better if they could develop some form of breathaliser that checked for viable viruses. That will never happen, as it would show the reality in the spreading of viruses via aerosols.

Other people's work. History shows this provides the greatest success.

Well this thread isn't getting much interest, so I guess that there aren't many offgridders here

I've been watching a lot of videos by people who own campervans that are younger than 3 years, and they seem to have a lot of expensive problems. These often result in bills of several £thousands, and the loss of the van for sometimes weeks. I bought a 15 year old van for well under £1,000, and it has been extremely reliable. I had to replace the clutch (transmission for you American guys), and I rebuilt the rear brakes. but everything else has been pretty low cost normal servicing. It doesn't have all the fancy modern enhancements, so I can do the work myself, and most of it can be done in a field if I have to. There is a bit of body rust, and I will sort that this summer. I can also customise it in a purpose built van suitable for a digital nomad. So, would you spend an extra £20,000+ doe a more modern vehicle that appears to be less reliable, and more expensive to maintain?

By that, does that include those immunization shots administered to the young ones/ babies?
Babies don't have immune systems, so vaccinating them whilst they have immature immune system, just screws them up for life, and locks them into the pharma world of health slavery.

I'd rather be known as a trusted person/trader, so I don't try to hide my identity. Although I have become a digital nomad, it wouldn't be too difficult to find me if somebody really wanted to. In fact I would be prepared to attend a meeting if it was to our mutual benefit. I wouldn't be wearing a face mask though.

If you want to save Bitcoin, just put it in a HODL wallet, and don't spend it.

Bitcoin will never be a currency. A currency is a means of settlement for a country. Bitcoin is money, and it is a great store of value. It is also a great medium of exchange.

The whole testing thing is a sham anyway. They aren't using the real covid virus for the testing, and they are only checking for antibody creation and immediate side effects.
Wouldn't it be great if they used natural immunity as a comparison in some of the tests?

So an investment house that owns a mining operation can maintain his own mempool, and give transactions in that priority when he finds a block. He could then top up his block with transactions from the main mempool to gain a bit of extra income.
|
|
|
I might have misunderstood the possibilities for miners. Is it only possible to include transactions from the mempool in mined blocks? For example, if a miner sells some of his Bitcoins, is he able to include the transaction in his next mined block, and thus avoid paying any fees?

If God is infinitely good, just and merciful, why will he destroy the whole of creation just to resurrect a few old souls? Also, why does he allow evolution to continue to improve the species, and their natural ability to withstand viruses and disease to prolong their lives?
|
|
|
After all, the fee size doesn't matter if they are collecting it themselves. I can see a couple of advantages in this. an investment house that is running its own mining rigs could pass the fee onto a client. Also, artificially high fees can help to get Bitcoin users used to paying higher fees to prepare for the days when fees replace the mining rewards
