Are you saying Covid-19 is junk? Smiley
1282  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lockdown easing - I'm back in the cafe on: August 08, 2020, 03:51:27 PM
Our wonderful government is expanding the list of locations where wearing face masks is mandatory. You now have to wear a face mask if you are visiting an aquarium. However the fish are exempt.
1283  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do people get credit cards loan? on: August 08, 2020, 02:07:55 PM
I spend £1,000+ onmy credit card every month. I get a small cash reward, which I receive just before Christmas. I've got the card set to automatic payment of the full amount when it becomes due, and that is generally between 30 and 60 days of the purchase. I don't think of it as a loan, and I make sure I have enough in my debit account to clear the balance at any time. Were I not to clear the balance, I think the interest rate is 13.9%, and that is a mad amount for a loan, especially in the current banking climate. I pay nothing in interest, and I get a small payment in return for using the card.

I couldn't read your articles, as the two sites require me to agree to downloads, and I refuse to do that.

Any table that just lists beaths by age isn't worth bothering with. The main reason that older people are more at risk is because thay have been subject to years of pharmaceutical abuse. The pharma sales staff ( some people call them doctors ) are forever trying to con older people into taking health damaging drugs that they don't need. You won't belive the number of messages I get telling me that I need various synthetic poisons to stay alive.

As I am won't to say - the only reliable scientific evidence about ageing is the proven fact that the more birthdays you have, the longer you live.
1285  Other / Off-topic / Re: The "sixth" is satan, believe it or not. on: August 07, 2020, 12:15:34 PM
a human construct since we decided to count with decimals (since we have 10 fingers); and 6 happens to be only one of them.

God created a binary world, but we weren't smart enough to realise that. Actually we have 2 pairs of 4 fingers giving a total of 8, and two parity digits ( thumbs ). Smiley
1286  Other / Off-topic / Trailers and UK government regulations. on: August 07, 2020, 10:17:14 AM
I've been given a trailer which is in quite good condition. It came from a builder, and I've been checking the government regulations regarding its use. This is what I've found.

Obviously it needs to have stop, indicator and red night lights. However they need to have "E" approval numbers on them, and if they are in a cluster, then they need to have a positional plan on the cover.

The number plate needs to be to be reflective, and made to a specified standard, with approved lettering and spacing. It has to be bought from a recognised manufacturer, and details sent to the DVLA. Proof of vehicle ownership and driving licence needs to be shown and recorded at the time of ordering. DVLA keeps a record of all plates manufactured.

It is unbraked, and I was concerned about this, but it is plated for a max. load of 500Kg, and unbraked trailers can have a max load of 750Kg.

The combined weight of the trailer and load cannot exceed half of the unladen weight of the towing vehicle.

It needs to have a breakaway cable in case it become uncoupled during towing.

I've got 6-ply tyres inflated to 70psi, which seems enormous to me.

Whee;s must have mudguard coverings.

The number plate must be illuminated at night.

And I thought that I could just hitch it up and go. Smiley
1287  Other / Off-topic / Re: What if Corona Virus lasts forever? on: August 07, 2020, 10:06:23 AM
I believe that it exists, and that it is a synthetic virus. I also believe that they are working on the son of covid, as too many people are becoming immune, and not having any health problems resulting from the virus.
1288  Other / Serious discussion / Re: To those waiting for the COVID-19 vaccine.. on: August 07, 2020, 10:01:30 AM
They have been testing the effects of vaccines 7 or 8 years after administration, and the results are quite alarming. Current tests ( if they are done) only check a few days after infection ( that is how a vaccine works), and they don't test for interaction with other drugs that the sheeple may be taking.
1289  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Masks rule goes into effect in England as Boris Johnson calls anti-vaxxers 'nuts on: August 07, 2020, 07:29:13 AM
"Hypoxia is caused by inhaling gases" - does that include the Carbon Dioxide that you exhale, and gets trapped by the mask?
1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attention for bounty work on: August 07, 2020, 07:25:18 AM
Bounty is on a par with the Big Issue sellers in the UK, and the beggars that sit outside the supermarkets. You don't walk around the streets wearing an advertising sandwich board, so why do it in the forums?
1291  Other / Meta / Re: Make this forum a better place - part 1 on: August 07, 2020, 07:21:10 AM
Better still - don't post images unless they are essential. Consider posting a thumbnail with a link to a larger image. This doesn't apply to social interaction threads of course.

Even more important - please don't quote an image - we've seen it once, and that should be enough.
1292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Okay who is stocking up on Toilet Paper going into Fall/Winter? on: August 06, 2020, 08:41:01 AM
What do you mean by toilet paper, are you talking about the US dollar?
1293  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Huawei without Google on: August 06, 2020, 08:37:58 AM
I'm not bothered about privacy, but I am annoyed by useless apps being installed, and using up resources and bandwidth. I must be pretty boring because I  don't want to listen to music on the phone, or send pictures of my tonsils or other body parts to people, or use any of the other gimmicky apps that seem to try to install themselves.
1294  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Masks rule goes into effect in England as Boris Johnson calls anti-vaxxers 'nuts on: August 06, 2020, 08:32:29 AM

Though I assume that wearing something over your face is better then nothing, even if it's just a bandana.

It doesn't do any good, and it provides a nice place for the virus to hide in the hope that it can infect somebody else. It can also cause hypoxia and facial sores. Another problem is that the wearer is breathing any infections back into his lungs after his
body has expelled them.

It also makes people look like a bunch of monkeys. Smiley
1295  Other / Politics & Society / Re: "eat out to help out" Boris's latest idea. on: August 06, 2020, 08:26:23 AM
The lockdowns are not designed to improve general health, but to stop the spread of immunity, and to give "them" time to release an inadequately tested vaccine. This will enable more people to be placed under the artificial health control of the money Pharmas. It is also being used to destroy small businesses and food producers, and force people to buy ultra-processed foods from the global producers.
1296  Other / Serious discussion / 12 Coronavirus Autopsy Cases Reveal TRUTH About How Coronavirus Patients Dying on: August 05, 2020, 03:45:26 PM
I've watched this video twice, as well as watching a number of others. I'm still trying to find any reference to a corona virus death of a patient who was healthy. This means no underlying health issues, and no corruption of the immune system. Whilst the video is interesting, it still confirms my belief that a healthy person will not die from the virus.

1297  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is it the virus or the treatment that affects mental health? on: August 05, 2020, 03:13:38 PM
Please stop rtying to diminish my comments. That was a genuine question that never seems to be considered in this era of mass indoctrination of a gullible public. You can report and analyse existing cases just by including the full details.
1298  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed Smokers and Covid on: August 05, 2020, 02:55:46 PM
I know of several people who have developed mental problems as a result of smoking weed. Three of them have very serious problems.
1299  Other / Politics & Society / Is it the virus or the treatment that affects mental health? on: August 05, 2020, 02:24:43 PM
I've just watched this video by Dr John Campbell which considers mental health in recovered virus patients.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GgQHm5SESc

He is well up in the Gluteus Max of the Pharmers, so you need to be careful when considering his opinions. It is a shame that they never discuss the underlying health problems that caused the recovery difficulty, or the pharmaceuticals that were administered to replace the natural healing processes. Mental stress is one of the problems that the government is increasing by escalating the supposed difficulties of this virus.
1300  Other / Ivory Tower / Re: What topics should be included on this board (Ivory Tower) on: August 05, 2020, 01:01:02 PM
I think the idea is to have slow moving discussions between senior members. The no activity update, and no signatures is intended to weed out those who are just posting for income. More or less any topic is allowed, but the kindergarten ones don't seem to get many replies. I'm not really interested in schoolboy topics such as the existence of god, and women's underwear.

What I would most like to see is discussions about macro-politics, by that I mean discussions about the influencers who control Washington, Westminster and the EU.
