1041  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Well I had to fill in a contact tracing form this morning. on: September 14, 2020, 08:27:07 AM
It is no longer voluntary in the UK. If you don't fill in the form, then you don't get served in the cafe. Of course you can walk around in the supermarket as much as you like without providing any details.

I guess that my main point is that the UK government is squandering money on this totally useless bit of fear mongering, and it is trying to look as if it cares, whilst it is cutting money on other essential medical services,  and on policing. It is also attempting to increase taxes to pay for its Mickey Mouse projects.
1042  Other / Politics & Society / Well I had to fill in a contact tracing form this morning. on: September 14, 2020, 07:50:26 AM
As I ordered my coffee in the cafe I was handed a form which I weas required to complete in order to be served. It seems ther is a requirement to fill in the form, but no requirement to use genuine details. I wonder how many fake details will be harvested by this useless waste of money. It would have been far simpler, and more accurate, if they had collected the credit card details at the time of payment. There are four entries -

- Today's date and time, but no mention of the length of stay.
- Full name of responsible person, but no details required for any other member of the party
- Contact telephone number, but no mention that it has to be your number.
- Total number of people in your group.

So what are they going to do with this load of useless rubbish. I don't know anybody who has been tested, or anybody who has been confirmed as having the virus. I believe that some reports indicate that as many as 80% of the UK population has some form of immunity to the Corona Virus family, but they don't seem to test for this, or to report any findings that don't support total annihilation unless we send loads of money to the Bill Gates eugenics programme.
1043  Other / Politics & Society / Re: People are so slow these days. on: September 14, 2020, 07:39:16 AM
Well there are some interesting points here.

It wasn't a generational comment. It was more a comment on the increase in insulin resistant fat people, and that seems to cover all age groups, except perhaps very young babies.

Yes, there are still a lot of fit and active people, but they get on with life. And they don't stop in the doorways while they pluck up enough courage to go out into the sunlight.

I don't see how it can be disrespectful to those who have lost their lives to this virus, as so far no healthy person had lost his/her life solely as a result of the virus.

The brain atrophy comes from some of the things mentioned - no conversation, educational changes, crap television, no conversational ability, mobile phone games, and many other modern "advances".
1044  Other / Politics & Society / People are so slow these days. on: September 13, 2020, 01:02:59 PM
I thought that we elderly members of the population were supposed to be slow and doddery, but it seems that most people now are slow and meandering as they move around. The fat ones seem to stop in the doorways as well, and that causes problems. With the Covid rubbish, people look at you as if you are a wild animal if you try to overtake them, and some even utter the chant of the sheeple "two metres, two metres".

Will people recover from their brain atrophy when the plandemic (sic) is seen for the scam that it is?
1045  Other / Off-topic / Re: philosophy of life on: September 13, 2020, 12:19:45 PM
As I age, I become more philosophical about life. I accept and embrace the powers of nature, and I try to resist the attempts by governments to change and control nature.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: September 13, 2020, 11:39:55 AM
The future global currency will not be based on Bitcoin or any of the current alts in my opinion. It will be a centralised virtual currency operated by the banking elite.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Average Congressman has nearly 60 years. Can those grandpas regulate bitcoin? on: September 13, 2020, 11:36:52 AM
Do they even care about Bitcoin? They don't need to regulate it, as they are busy buying it all at the moment. That means they are acquiring an appreciating asset, and they can control the volatility to frighten most of the world population. We are lucky as we know their plans, so we can use it as an income source if we are sensible.
1048  Other / Off-topic / Re: feel free to ask some eco and nature question on: September 13, 2020, 11:29:14 AM
We are entering a long overdue period of the reversal of the poles, and this will cause considerable disruption in the magnetic fields of the earth. How much do you think this will affect the users of electric cars, and the supply of electricity?
1049  Other / Meta / Re: I'm newbie, need help on: September 13, 2020, 11:24:20 AM
You don't happen to be over 75 years old, do you?

Hey, just behave, and don't knock us oldies who may be a bit slow. It took me over 30 minutes to realise that if I clicked on "watch", I couldn't enter my reply through my watch, and I had to use a keyboard like everybody else. Smiley
1050  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to maintain your good health? on: September 13, 2020, 11:17:02 AM
That is the stupidity of the current FUD generated panic. To stay healthy, you need to get out in the fresh air, and to expose yourself to sunlight. You should also avoid reinfecting yourself by wearing those stupid monkey masks.
1051  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to maintain your good health? on: September 13, 2020, 10:43:26 AM
There seems to be a body of opinion that doesn't believe that breakfast is healthy. The justification seems to be the way the body handles stored fats, and brief periods of starvation can help the body to break these down, and covert them. Obviously you are not eating whilst you are asleep, and by avoiding eating until 11am or later, you force the body to process these stored fats

I try to do this, but I seem to weaken frequently when I am sitting in a cafe at 8am, and everybody else is tucking into breakfast. Smiley
1052  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Concerns or helps of government after covid19 to citizens. on: September 12, 2020, 05:03:22 PM
It is unbelievable that the Governments have managed to ramp up a virus that ranks 36th on the severity scale, and they are able to gain massive support to help them destroy economies. Isn't it time we saw it for what it is, and got on with trying to rebuild the destruction of our countries?
1053  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No time to waste - US has to act now to reverse climate change trend on: September 12, 2020, 04:58:53 PM
We are entering into a period of reversal of the poles. Historically this causes massive disruption of magnetic fields, and will affect the electrical supply grids. How do you plan to continue using electric cars through this period of disruption?

I like puppies, I just hate the people who treat them badly.
1055  Other / Off-topic / Re: List of bitcoin songs (Parodies, etc) on: September 12, 2020, 04:51:27 PM
I put together a site to list these, but it is a while since I updated it. Maybe it is time to review some of the new creations.

1056  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any girls had similar experiences online on bitcoin forums on: September 12, 2020, 02:34:44 PM
Serves you right for going to Reddit instead of Bitcoin Talk. Smiley Many of us like girls, especially girls who are actually "girls". I can remember reading a psychology report years ago, and it stated that girls need a man with an IQ that is no lower than a few points of theirs, but men can accept almost anything, especially if the girl is ornamental. This tends to make men with an average IQ feel uncomfortable with intelligent girls. There are a lot of intelligent guys here in this forum, so as an intelligent girl, you should feel comfortable here.

and congrats on getting into Bitcoin at a great time, well if you arrived at the end of the crash rather than the beginning.
1057  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Life Worth Living? on: September 12, 2020, 10:14:49 AM
Stop looking at life through closed or blinkered eyes. Open them and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. Then do some things to improve the quality of your life. It is your life, make the most of it.
1058  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK - From Monday it is mandatory to fill in contact tracing forms. on: September 12, 2020, 10:11:30 AM
It's easier to just fill in the form as Boris Johnson at 10 Downing Street. If enough people do it, then maybe he will have to self-isolate. Smiley
1059  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Operation moonshot in the UK on: September 12, 2020, 10:08:30 AM
It is another massive waste of our money. I will resist being tested, and will demand details of the testing methods, and the replication factors applied. I believe that they are setting up roadside testing stations, and making the testing mandatory, with forced self-isolation following a positive result. It will be interesting to see what happens if I get an independent test which is negative if they hit me.
1060  Other / Serious discussion / Re: [UK] Who will the government blame next for spreading the virus on: September 12, 2020, 08:25:32 AM
Probably me, as I'm telling everybody they should expose themselves to infection to gain immunity. If they do it now while their immune system is still fairly strong, then it should carry them through the 'flu season. This assumes that they are half-way healthy of course, and that is a bit of a stretch when you look at the lard arses wobbling through the supermarket car parks.

Actually the real blame lies with Boris Johnson for his rubbish mismanagement of the so-called pandemic. He is taking us out of the pan(demic) into the fire.
