I believe that it is quite a promising coin it is in the top thousand of all coins. But I do not like one thing - this is what they want to become famous under the name of bitcoin, as they have a very similar name with him.

Someone keeps mining BCC and it's still has a decent price, IDK who would still invest in this. Unless, there is a revival coming that we don't know about.  No there's no revival coming. No Ponzi scheme has ever been "revived." Its never happened. This coin is dead and buried in the dirt, where it should be. Only a fucking fool would think any price of a scam coin is "decent." 1 cent per coin is 1 cent too many. Fuck anybody stupid enough to buy this sullied piece of trash. There really isnt any mining taking place, people are still probably staking their coins in their wallets....alot different than actually mining with gpu or cpu. I wouldn't expect to be able to just stake small amounts of ICX, I would be that the staking will be like DPos where stakers are elected by votes...so small holders probably won't be able to stake. Unless someone can prove me wrong by posting a link? Looking at the chart depth there are ALOT of buyers (support) around 7900-8k sats, unless these are fake buy walls i would say we are close to the bottom for ICX, another thing is that the sell depth is extremely thin, price could easily shoot up to 8500-9k with a couple big buyers coming in. |

But all btc vs bch shenanigans aside....keeping the thread ZEC related...I think that ZEC is looking pretty good for the coming 1-2 years. @mymenace if your "hunting" for a good trade I am with you.
I think that with the asics that have come out and the core team pretty much embracing them it will give more rise to enterprise level mining which in my opinion will bring more value to the coin/community. Why?...More hashpower = stronger network = stronger price....right?
The second thing is the somewhat recent addition to gemini and soon to be coinbase, also custody solutions from gemini. Both big deals for liquidity.
Lastly is the coming sapling release later this year/early next year.
All of these things leads me to believe buying now could mean massive returns later....just me though.

Now I see all the same hype around the ZCASH project faded a bit, the community gradually cools to the ZCASH project. And I remember what used to be the excitement around the ZCASH project, all about it and talked at the start. Maybe with another pump, it'll all come back. I think there's currently too much selling pressuere due to the inflation. There's still a lot of ZEC being mined, if you compare it to the ZEC in existence. In the current market climate, It's hard to find buyers for this. But around 0.025 BTC looks like strong support for now. Are you certain that is gonna hold Its been bouncing off of that range for a while, I would bet it holds. But who knows in 4 months from now if it will hold, with all these asics hitting the network that could make for even more selling pressure. Or maybe even the contrary? More holders? I feel like the first halving of ZEC in 2020 will really spark a frenzy of price action. If I had a good place to run them I would be buying the shit out of these z9's, even if the difficulty spikes all the ZEC you would mine would be extremely profitable in the long run. Literally every alt is down, the alt market is getting hit the hardest I have ever seen. BTC dominance back to like 55% post ICO bubble is pretty crazy....
This could get pretty dirty for a lot of ICOs who didn't sell their ETH or BTC, wouldn't surprise me to see some fail.
It's getting grim for alt coin holders, every btc max will just troll but I GUARANTEE the alt coin market will come back....it's greed and human psychology that will bring them back.

There are 9 different ETF's to be decided in next two months. People are afraid of this uncertainty which isn't disappearing else this is best buy point. Majority of people know this is temporary phase and will be over but when this is the question. People are not willing to hold for longer time that's why careful attitude is being seen.
I still think NONE of these are gonna come to pass in the next 2 years. Not with an asset BTC that pumped and then dumped 65% in the last year. The bureaucrats will not get into any problems with their masters, by just kicking this down the road ...thus nothing. just saying, not gonna fly...and if people are expecting such the price will IMHO dump to 3k coin on such expectations. there is NO desire by us gov't or the sec to make btc legit under any circumstances...at 18k they probably would not have any choice but allow ETFs at the current 6.4k price...er ..they don't have to do anything at all. For the people complaining you need to realize that it's not just stratis that is experiencing these huge dips in price, it's literally happening to the entire alt market.
The unfortunate truth is that 2017 was mainly fueled by speculation not adoption.
I still find the dot com 2000 bubble a tough comparison to 2017 blockchain bubble, dot com was mainly institutions and not global like blockchain, because of this I don't think it's unrealistic to think we could see another speculative frenzy with some more mainstream adoption in the coming years that could make 2017 look micro (just like 2017 made 2013 look small).
The stratis chart is pretty similar to other top alts in terms of a boom bust like cycle, at these levels im probably going to buy some more, low risk, high upside potential.

Buy a little bit here and there to make up a small percentage of your overall portfolio and wait. Would recommend the same for Zcash, if you don't believe me then go back in this thread to my post, I was one of the only people posting on here saying ETC will get listed next on coinbase before the fact....when everyone and their mom was saying it was going to be ripple. ETC is NOT on coinbase yet it's on Gdax or coinbase pro, the Casual Investor has no access yet. The Pump (if it comes) will be when there's an ETC wallet and buy/ sell on the Dashboard of the Coin base app. This is a good point, when people can buy it with their credit card it could do alot more for the price |

I supported and held VRC from 2014-2016, I guess you could say I was a bagholder for a while, but I traded and staked my way into profit and then sold in 2016. VRC had a meteoric rise in 2014 and has never gotten close to that ATH in terms of bitcoin value ever again (like ~40ksats?).
It was at one time in top 10 in market cap (back before CMC was the go to source), but now its sitting at 500th. A shocking fact is that BitConnect...Yes I said BitConnect, even after the scam collapsed still has a higher market cap than VRC. How is that possible, does anyone see value in a 4 year old blockchain? I just don't get how these markets work sometimes....it really just must be COMPLETELY DOMINATED by speculators.
The price action is sooo similar to BlackCoin, I wonder if older coins will ever make a comeback.
