1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | Generous Reward Staking | Advanced Staking Controls & Wallet on: December 25, 2017, 03:07:58 AM
Merry christmas to any HYP holders, price woke up in the past couple days and my rewards have been less...more people coming in and staking their coins.

Active developers and active marketing going on, HYP will have a good 2018!
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: December 25, 2017, 03:06:11 AM
This is the reason for the rise? Or because of the value of the project itself up.

Mcafee gave boost & reassurance. The project itself is undervalued compare to rest of the cryptos.

Mcafee tweets and then all the sudden people start calling DGB a shitcoin.....what?

Amazing how fomo can turn people into salty haters overnight.

On a side note if mcafee is really taking 25btc and 15% of the supply of a coin to pump it....thats pretty shady. BUT that doesnt mean dgb is a shitcoin, come on yall
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2017, 03:00:31 AM
We are reaching the final destination of this ponzi. Be sure to remember all the people who dragged others into this scheme. Report them to the authorities.

Well you have thousands of people into this I don't know the number but will you include bitcointalk and youtube because they are also posting information about Bitconnectcoin it will take millions of dollars to sue this two big companies and how can you trace the holders and promoters because they are scatter everywhere.

=================================
Anyone that invests in BitConnect is doing at their own risk. Who to sue? the SEC has already warned that in most cases there is nothing they can do if the exchanges are decentralized outside their jurisdiction. If BitConnect is able to maintain the security of the site and prolong its operation, even if the % return is dropped below current levels it is still better than what a fiat bank pays so there is no Ponzi. As long Bitcoin stays in business, BitConnect can tag and continue to make arbitrage profits and share with lending investors, it may fluctuate as we are experiencing now with bcc/btc. but, if the roadmap 2018 is followed and they introduce more cryptos and currencies to the exchange it will give more flexibility and returns to BitConnect investors. They made a mistake dropping BCH. If they had maintained that exchange with BCH at current levels it would have capitalized the BCC better. This is why if they bring more currencies like ETH, XRP, BCH, etc it will prolong the longevity of BitConnect. EthConnect seems to be an enhanced branch from BitConnect tree and I suspect owners are related. They added Eth to BCC and made a cleaner site but rather than abandoning BitConnect they should add more currencies and as long as the daily % return keeps coming, even if smaller that is still better than nothing in a bank.

SMH......so hard

Where is this proof that the SEC has warned that in most cases there is nothing they can do? Do you just make this up to make yourself feel better about investing in this?

I have a family member who works with the DEA and he told me that at a recent conference there were several groups from the SEC and their MAIN focus was targeting fraudulent investment schemes. Recently USI tech got hit with emergency cease and desist order.

https://www.ssb.texas.gov/news-publications/bitcoin-promoter-usi-tech-hit-emergency-order

If you don't think bitconnect and these lending platforms fall in this category then I don't know what else to tell you.

Also bitconnect is not a decentralized exchange, where you get this info from is an enigma to me.

"As long as bitcoin stays in business"....? What? You can't be serious.

It's obvious you have literally no idea what your talking about, stop posting on here trying to make others feel ok about investing in this.

1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: December 24, 2017, 07:23:26 AM
merry christmas and safe new year to all DMD holders and to the DMD foundation

DMD price very stable past weeks throughout all the craziness in the markets, USD value fluctuates of course just because of the price of bitcoin but we steady around 100k-115k sats.

Any newcomer to the thread needs to understand the stability of price when such a high amount of supply is locked away in masternodes.
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: December 24, 2017, 07:19:46 AM
So it seems if Mcafee tweets about it then the price will take off.
And Mcafee tweeted about Digibyte so hold on...   Shocked

Did mcafee get the same kind of backlash from the verge tweet that he is getting now with the DGB tweet...people are literally attacking him on twitter.

He didn't say once in his tweet to buy the coin yet people are calling him a pump and dumper as if there are not people on cnbc, msnbc, mad money ect everyday literally doing the same thing only with stocks. How is it a pump and dump if all he is doing is saying something about the coin? Crypto personalities on twitter make me more ashamed by the day.

Aside from that I think DGB is forming a bullish flag, we tested support around 475sats and it seemed to hold, wouldn't be surprised if we see another spike on to new highs. Good luck yall
1066  Economy / Lending / Re: Learn How To Make Up To $500 Per Day With Bitcoin Lending on: December 24, 2017, 07:12:44 AM
Daniela,

That 2400 you invested will probably yield a far better return if you just kept it in bitcoin or bought another coin off the market, these lending platforms in my opinion prey on crypto newcomers.

Also bitconnect is the riskiest type of crypto investment, besides the ponzi accusations you are basically giving blind faith that this anonymous company wont just close shop and bail before they give you your capital release.

I have friends who have got into crypto and have already doubled their money in a month, you will have to wait 3 months probably with bitconnect and you wont be able to withdraw before then.

I wish you luck but please try and do more research and learn more about mining, masternode coins and proof of stake coins....or just try and learn how to trade crypto on the markets...its far more profitable with less risk!!!
1067  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: is CCGMining legit? on: December 24, 2017, 07:07:29 AM
I recently looked into these guys, their packages do look to yield nice returns. Ever since Genesis release their last batch of zcash contracts that sold out in like two weeks i have been somewhat interested in cloud mining.

But to be honest I can't ever seem to bring myself to believe that cloud mining is a smart investment because of a some things:

1. You can't withdraw your investment

2. You have to trust that they will honor your contract

3. It could always be more profitable to just take your investment and buy the coin off the market

4. You could yield better returns building the rig yourself

5. Masternodes and POS (Proof of stake) coins could yield better returns and you would always be in control of your money.

I can see how cloud mining can be very inticing to new comers especially with the added affiliate programs offered but they only appeal to this crowd because they are easy and don't require a lot of understanding of the markets and other investment opportunities in crypto.

Invest at your own will, but i would advise any newcomer to learn more about crypto and other options first. good luck
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JWL] 💎 JEWELS 💎 Re-Launch 💎New Development Team💎 Trading on Bittrex on: December 24, 2017, 06:07:00 AM
Yup, gonzo...

Wow and to think at one point this year there were people on twitter vouching this would be the next coin on poloniex.....didn't invest in the ico but traded this profitably.

Sorry for any investors losses, unfortunately shit is unfair, these types of scams probably won't ever see any kind of repercussions. I know from a source the SEC is just now getting around to bringing down the ICO scams we are seeing today with ethereum.

So this coin is dead...but how is their still an active market on yobit? If there is no nodes then how is yobit moving coin around to wallets? What am i missing?
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: December 23, 2017, 04:18:36 PM
LBC is getting called as a buy from several groups, volume has been increasing a bit and I think the bear trend has ended....key word "THINK"

Don't buy off of what someone says in bcttalk, but im buying at these levels, lbry is overdue for some recognition and a pump.

This coin is solid with VC backing and a solid/devoted developement team, no reason why the price wouldnt start to reflect that, I think any buy under 5k sats is good.

Respect to Jeremy and the dev team, I also worked a bit with Reilly Smith on a blog post in 2016 and i can vouch that he is a professional and a stand up guy. Good luck yall, merry christmas,
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: December 22, 2017, 07:34:09 PM
Right on, I totally agree with you.

I keep asking myself, how could crypto go on such a long drawn out bear market?...there is just
so much attention now that it doesn't seem plausible.

I hope we are right dude, I have had a lot of friends and family get into the markets over the last
5 months and I worry for them.

On a side note to anyone new lurking in this thread, don't take the 5$ price prediction too seriously.
I agree with waqaz that anywhere from .50c - 1$ is a realistic price target.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.14.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: December 22, 2017, 05:23:34 PM
Yes DGB did hold pretty well against BTC but of course the USD amount went down just because the btc
that DGB is priced in is now worth much less.

I want to agree with you that this is a bullish sign but I can't because btc just dominates the market,
when btc dumps like this is just has an enourmouse bear effect on all the altcoins.

And honestly most alts that dont have significant usd pairs stayed the same just like DGB. I think
as a whole this maybe the start of a bear market in crypto. I just dont feel like the upward
momentum will continue after such an enourmous sell off. I hope that im wrong though

I lived through the bear times of 2014/2015 so im skeptical, but aside from that DGB is good long term.
Im holding, good luck everyone.
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can You Feel the Panic? on: December 22, 2017, 04:41:07 PM
This has happened several times this year, bitcoin drops and takes the whole crypto market with it. Everytime it
looses 30% it would gain 70% back in the next 7 days. (Rough Estimates, but the numbers are there)

This time around im not so sure we will see such a dramatic rise back to old highs unfortunately. This was a massive sell off!

I can't really seem to find a solid explanation why though, maybe its because of the holidays?

Putting on my tin foil hat.....I can't help but speculate that these re-occuring market wide dumps seem coordinated, as if there
are a couple of groups that all seem to sell off together in massive amounts. Then slowly re-enter the market when the time is right.

But anyone that is a true believer should be holding and buying more on these dips, but I wouldnt go ham with everything.

I agree with the post above that it's probably not over, we could see sub 10k bitcoin very easily before the new year. Maybe not
another rally until mid/late january. Good luck out there everyone.

1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 22, 2017, 04:13:15 AM
Maybe the lending continues, we will see...but most people I think have now seen that the risk vs reward doesn't equal out.

Maybe if bitcoin and most top coins go completely sideways bitconnect would be a good option for a newbie....but I think we all know that won't happen. I predict 2018 to be the most volatile time in crypto currency history and we will see the total market cap go over 1 trillion for the first time.

Remember if you just held your bitcoin the gains would have been so much more than the 1% per day they offer. ALSO if you just bought and held bitconnect the coin itself the returns probably would have been better.

In my opinion the people who are getting screwed are the people who are lending....putting all their coin at risk when its unnecessary.
1075  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 22, 2017, 12:51:12 AM
When will the fees go down?

Will they ever? I don't see much purpose in holding fiat anymore so I want to be able to spend my crypto...

Someone enlighten me on the process of LN and when we could actually expect bitcoin fees and backlog to be lowered.

Friends dont even want to move their bitcoin off of coinbase because its too expensive, if bitcoin is purely going to be a store of value "digital gold" then won't an altcoin eventually take highest market cap?
1076  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!! on: December 22, 2017, 12:23:57 AM
Wow...

Anyone in here remember mintpal or cryptsy?

I get it maybe peoples accounts have been frozen and such but I have used bittrex for 3.5 years and haven't had a single problem.

They have added countless coins based on customer demand.

When poloniex had massive problems due to the surge in customers during the spring they stepped up as a viable and secure alternative.

In my experience they have always been transparent about things. As long as your not breaking their rules I dont see why anyone would have a problem.

If your new to crypto understand that the exchanges now days are way more professional and transparent to regulators than ever before, be thankful you weren't trading back in 2013/2014 when people's money literally got stolen from them.

On a final note yall shouldnt be keeping alot of coin on exchanges anyway, only keep small amounts to trade with on there. If you keep alot on there you are asking for trouble anyways, always be in control of your private keys.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase & Ripple ? on: December 22, 2017, 12:14:13 AM
A LOT of people have been wondering when/if coinbase will add ripple. Any thoughts?

I was surfing on reddit the other day and came up with this conversation
https://www.reddit.com/r/CoinBase/comments/7kfbjj/will_coinbase_be_getting_xrp_ripple/

I don't know when or why, but probably the won't be doing it sooon the took years to add bitcoin cash.

Bruh.. The fork happened on August 1st.  lol Huh years

Eventually they'll add ripple. Then others like Monero. Most likely Q1 2018.

This is what I have been thinking too....ripple and monero. I think ripple for sure.

A lot of people dont understand the criteria coinbase has put out. Many coins that people think will make it don't even meet the criteria. I used to think there wasnt any chance an erc20 token would make it on there but they did add the framework for it....so who knows.

If I had to make a guess as to what erc20 token they would add i would say it will be BAT.....but meh....hardly any trade volume on that so maybe EOS. If i had to bet a bitoin on it...ripple and monero. Good luck out there
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: December 22, 2017, 12:03:20 AM
Just thought I'd let you all know...

The old DMD v.2 block explorer expired four days ago, has entered the grace period, and will be taken offline once the grace period expires (unless someone pays to keep it up).

If you want to export records for any addresses you have with transactions on the old block chain, you will want to get on it ASAP. It's very easy to export CSV files. Just make sure you first show all transactions, then export the CSV file, save it, and voila, you have records for each address. They could come in handy for determining cost basis for tax purposes and whatever else.

The v.3 block explorer starts with whatever your balance was when v.2 was snapshot, and shows that initial balance as a deposit on the v.3 block explorer, so you really do need to get complete records from the old block chain.

You can also get them from the old wallet, but I've generally found it easier to work with data that got exported from the block explorer than from the wallet data.

I'm thankful I got on my own record keeping now before the old explorer was retired. Just figured there might be others like me who might want that data. If you do, you should get it now.

Good to know, thanks for that.

I hope I won't ever need all my altcoin activity for tax purposes  Undecided

Thanks to mintpal and crytpsy there is no way i will ever get all of it. Let's hope governments will never try to make us pay capital gains trading crypto to crypto.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 21, 2017, 11:59:24 PM
SNAP will Adopt the Highly Regarded NEM Blockchain Technology; XEM, the Token Underlying NEM, Currently has the 9th Largest Market Capitalization of all Cryptocurrencies

NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / December 21, 2017 / Snap Interactive, Inc. ("SNAP," the "Company," "we," "our" or "us") (OTCQB: STVI), a leading provider of live video social networking applications building on blockchain and other innovative technologies, and NEM.io Foundation Ltd. (NEM), one of the most well-funded and successful blockchain technology projects in the cryptocurrency industry, today jointly announced that SNAP has selected NEM to power the Company's core blockchain infrastructure. Development has already commenced and will be the foundation for Backchannel, SNAP's secure messenger application expected to be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Great news for Nem holders and the nem foundation, so it will be a secure messenging type deal?

Was waiting in line at the bank today and of course they had bloomberg money on the tv.....and little to my surprise the headline was about goldman building a cryptocurrency trading desk.

I am still astonished by how fast people are warming up to crypto currency, its becoming more legitimate by the day.

I feel like 2018 will the year blockchain tech really starts to flourish in real world business, this type of deal shows that.

Of course after I sold my DGB stash the price went up .... damn, sometimes I think I'll never get rich, and that does not look good at all Smiley

Re-buy....look what verge and reddcoin did, there is a lot of interest in this coin brewing. I have seen and heard several groups talking about it in the last couple days, and look at the massive increase in volume!!

The volume has increased by ten fold this week, the price action in my opinion is just getting started.

You will get rich my friend just dont give up, keep trying and always remain a student of crypto currency.
