1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOBYTE [GBX] - Masternodes, PoW, Secure, ASIC Resistance, & Decentralized on: December 28, 2017, 06:30:33 PM
how can the masternode reward be so high if 80% of the coins are locked in masternodes and its 50% mn 50% pow?

Masternode reward is coming from POW. MN reward has has nothing to do with % of locked coins, that is affecting the price of coin.

Approximated Master node profitability calculation can be made.
• Block time 150 seconds (15 GBX)
• 24 blocks per hour (360 GBX)
• 576 blocks per day (8640 GBX)
• 50% of block reward will go to MN owners (4320 GBX)

Daily 8460 GBX are generated and 50% goes to MN.

All these are approximated values, because block time is not fixed and can vary little bit.

I am hoping that it is now more clear to you how MN reward is generated. Wink

Yes helps a lot thanks, will be watching this coin.

Listed on many exchanges, web wallet under development, android app, solid development plan laid out.

So is yobit and bitZ pending as in a done deal or still in talks?

1045  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bittrex is a scam website - AVOID!- WITH PROOF!! on: December 27, 2017, 05:43:02 PM
No I do not think bittrex will be the new cryptsy, things are much different now.

Remember cryptsy was hacked by malicious code uploaded by....vegascoin? Some crap like that I can't remember.

Bittrex has a higher standard for coins being added and their code review is way better.

Now before everyone in this thread jumps me for supporting them I will empathize with everyone that it does suck to have funds
locked up.

Remember that crypto currency exchanges are in a huge grey area right now, and these markets move soooo fast. It's nearly impossible
for them to handle the influx of customers and volume this fast!! The same thing happened to poloniex last spring, also keep in mind that they are also
trying to follow and comply with ever increasing eyes from regulators.

If your funds are locked I encourage you to just take some deep breaths, the regulators are well aware of crimes of now defunct
exchanges mt.gox, cryptsy and mintpal..they arent going to let bittrex rob you guys.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ∞ Goodomy ("GOOD") ∞ Amazon for the $30 Trillion Offline Retail Market ∞ on: December 27, 2017, 05:20:39 PM
So I think that for this to succeed the app will HAVE to be used, your projections go from 60 users in March 2018 to
18,000 users in June. This is pretty rapid growth, how do you plan to achieve this?

Im sure that you have answered this somewhere but sorry I don't want to dig through the ANN, we kinda need a centralized source
of information here.

Also FITE is part of REMI that will help businesses make use of the platform, they also have a projection going from 12 to 850
in those months. I'm still not sure what they are though? Are they like a different type of user?

I noticed that virtual products are aimed to be added in 2019, this could be huge if done right.

Lastly I noticed Ad revenue projected for 2018, how do you intend to integrate this? An ad free app would be ideal in my opinion.

this is all constructive criticism at worse, i like this project or i wouldn't be here
1047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Whitepaper][POSW] POSW COIN | The World's First Trustless Profit-Driven Economy on: December 27, 2017, 05:02:07 PM
So there still is a website where people can stake their coins and trade? This is what I remember last about this coin.

Last I heard there was some changes being made but I can't find the site anywhere, just the main site with coins specs and info.

Also the distribution will be 50% MN and 50% POS? Is this correct, cant find it in the ANN...sorry if it in there, lazy today.

Thanks
1048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: December 27, 2017, 04:54:35 PM
I saw that Steem had a very nice rise in the last month, wow ...

You guys made good profits for christmas Smiley ... nice  Smiley

Yes steem is up in US Dollars, but still is at a low level in terms of BTC.

I find myself wondering if most alts will ever hit new all time highs in bitcoin price, just because
the price of bitcoin is so high now and most new investors only look at USD price.

Am I stuck in my ways by only caring about satoshi prices?

For example if steem hit an all time high in bitcoin price that would put it at almost $100...dang.

You're not alone here, I also care about sats price, and I'm not sure about Steem, but the most of alts are reaching ATH because Bitcoin is rising so high! I just hope BTC will stop from rising and some corection will apply soon, so it can give alts a chance to get back on track Smiley

Feel you brother

I have noticed that when bitcoin goes sideways alts tend to rise, which is a great sign.

I find myself in such an odd position with some of my alts...I will be down like 20-50% on my btc investment bagholding pretty hard
but then on my USD investment I will be up like 100% just because the bitcoin its priced in is worth so much more!  Cheesy

Crypto is a trip sometimes.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Launched : CryptoGiveaways.org - Faucet - Claim BTC, OK, EMC2, OZC, GRN and DMD on: December 27, 2017, 04:50:59 PM
Cool so it's pretty much a multi-coin faucet with some information for newbies, very good.

If you don't mind me asking, is this a non-profit venture? If it's ad free (which is amazing btw) how do you
intend to generate income? Does it come from the coin's that you add?

Also I haven't checked out any type of give-away/faucets in a while, atleast not since this last boom in crypto.
From what I remember many faucets struggled with bots and people multi-accounting ect.

What's your outlook on the future of faucets and giveaway sites?
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: December 27, 2017, 03:15:52 PM
It may hit $100 just because bitcoin goes up, not because the price in bitcoin goes up.

That's the thing with factom, it's a great project but it just doesn't have that POP characteristic like
some of the other alts.

It seems like there are a lot of speculators that jump in and out too, anytime we go above 300k its like walking
on egg shells...so easily will dump back down to 250.

1052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: December 26, 2017, 06:13:13 AM
Staking time went from 3 days, to over 2 weeks now on 200+ DMD. I'm out. Better investments out there....

ya you need to wait a bit to start staking but you have to be able to see the upside in that over 50% are locked in masternodes so going forward its going to be harder and harder to get DMD.

price in btc just doesnt dump like other alts, even now when i post bitcoin went up 15% and the top 6 rows of bittrex are red with soo many coins dumping 15-20%

meanwhile dmd is only down 0.9%....gotta see it as a long term passive income generating coin
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: December 26, 2017, 06:00:32 AM
yobit has a doge centered exchange....

thats so strange given the fact that this coin is such a joke...

all decentral cryptocurrencies currently benefit mainly large scale owners of things

regards

not sure what you mean by large scale owners of things

but yes it is kind of strange that some exchanges have gone through the trouble of creating DOGE/XXX markets....lol even cryptopia has them!

they must get tiny volume.

i do imagine a day where there will be many more people trading LTC/xxx and ETH/xxx markets....maybe doge will have a place there?

i couldn't imagine a crypto world without doge
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that will make you RICH in 2018! on: December 26, 2017, 05:56:45 AM
I think altcoin can make us rich is because this current ethereum ethereum great demand by many people and have a high potential to continue to grow along with the expansion of the bitcoin ethereum with and if you have now and you release the next year it will be very beneficial especially if you are investing with ethereum. because I trust and recommend ethereum as altcoin in the year 2018.

As bitcoin continues to rise, it is getting more and more people's understanding of the cryptocurrency, and more and more people are entering the cryptocurrency, and the price will be higher and higher.

There has to be a bear market eventually, when that will come is the multi million (or billion) dollar question. I believe we have hit a period where things are snowballing and there are waves upon waves of early adopters. So these bull runs could continue for potentially...years....I can't believe im saying it to be honest.

If you are new to crypto and are getting into the alt coins, trading them atleast, you need to understand how most alt coins are at the mercy of bitcoin, when bitcoin goes up a lot of alts go down regardless of tech or updates. MOST, is key word. Some have managed to unpeg from bitcoin, like litecoin, ether ect..mostly coins who have strong usd pairs
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: December 25, 2017, 06:19:43 AM

it has touched too many crypto hearts over the years

too many good memes were created

everyone loves having a lot of it because of its enormous supply

people fucking love their dogs
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2017, 04:45:12 AM
No one forced people to invest in Bitconnect

They could have very well invested in

Control-finance
Bitpetite
Bitplay
Laseronline
Coinreum
Chronium
Apoud
Nexcoin
Hexabot
Elektracoin
Bitbase
Chaingroup
UcoinCash
Ethconnect

Your right, and they probably won't go away. True no one ever forced anyone to invest in these platforms, but when someone spams their referral link and basically incites others to invest based on emotion and fomo without explaining the risk.....thats what doesnt set well with me.

1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2017, 04:41:29 AM
We are reaching the final destination of this ponzi. Be sure to remember all the people who dragged others into this scheme. Report them to the authorities.
Where is this proof that the SEC has warned that in most cases there is nothing they can do? Do you just make this up to make yourself feel better about investing in this?
===================================
You have to do your own due diligence and make your own. Below are two SEC related News on this issue and there are many more flowing in the media:

https://www.sec.gov/news/public-statement/statement-clayton-2017-12-11
In this Release it is stressed in bold letters of the risks related issues.

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/12/11/bitcoin-latest-sec-jay-clayton-warns-on-cryptocurrencies-munchee-ico.html

Both of those talk only about ICO's which are completely different then signing someone up and receiving a commission from their investment.

1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: December 25, 2017, 04:38:05 AM
From the emergency cease and desist order to USI tech

"According to the order, USI-Tech is telling potential investors they can make more money by convincing other individuals to invest in the company’s bitcoin platform. Investors can earn “up to 35% commissions” through its “unique referral marketing plan.”

USI-Tech is not informing investors of the danger in being paid commissions from referrals. Individuals paid these commissions must either be registered with the State Securities Board or qualify for an exemption from registration."

This is coming from the TEXAS STATE SECURITIES BOARD, if you are looking at this thread and considering referring people to bitconnect please reconsider and just invest your own money. Don't try and convince others to invest for your own gain.

I think that the best thing bitconnect could do is just disable their affiliate program, if they did that, I would be 100% ok with the platform.
1059  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: December 25, 2017, 04:32:47 AM
So many alts going up right now.

Why is factom not following? Hard to say for sure but I really think its just because no one is talking about it. Now is such a good time to buy because in my opinion its at the

Seems to be a flow on information in crypto through discord/youtube/telegram for speculators looking for the "next big coin", im not saying i want factom to get pump and dumped but strong price action would def get the attention of long term investors.

Whenever talk about factoms tech and achievements gets into these channels of information price will respond.
1060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JWL] 💎 JEWELS 💎 Re-Launch 💎New Development Team💎 Trading on Bittrex on: December 25, 2017, 03:13:06 AM
Is there any new thread of this project. I can not see any new updates from the dev. is the proect already over?  Huh

It was going good for a while earlier this year until the developer dumped his coins and apparently bailed, looked like the creator of this thread was making a valiant attempt to save the coin because he was an investor.

I had luckily sold before all this went down...not to rub it in or anything. I wasnt always this lucky.

But other than that I don't know anymore details, like if the developer gave up any community funds or if he dumped them all? Or if he gave up all the information and permissions to the coins github?

It still has a market though, even though its pretty much dormant. But check it out on yobit there is still trading going on...this I don't understand, if its so dead who is trading on yobit? Is it the exchange itself?
