Also, I think it's important to notice that TedMosby presented the art by their father, which means we can be submitting not only our own works, but works by our relatives/friends? I didn't know that. I myself suck at drawing, but my nieces, twin sisters, are pretty good at it. So, next time, I'll give them an idea, and they'll do the drawing, and I'll present our teamwork here. (I'm still not completely sure if it's allowed, but if it is, it's really great news. Smiley )
I make sure that is allowed.  I also asked that to Hhampuz before when I was interested in participating in the previous contest.  And he answered that it was possible.  I also have a cousin who knows how to draw so I asked him if I could invite him to draw last year's holiday.  I just showed him the previous artworks on Roobet and I also informed him of the website and the mascot of the gambling site is a Kangaroo.  Even though he wasn't lucky enough to choose his work, he was still happy and I just gave him money on his birthday as gratitude and assent.

Congratulations to all the winners for this round especially to @Maus0728, you always impress me with your works.

hi guys, it's been a while AFK from this forum.

yes, I submitted my father's artwork for this contest.
I've asked Hhampuz about it, and it's allowed.

actually, my father always made artwork since October's contest (last year). but I did not submit his artwork as the rule said 1 account 1 submission. I only take a pic and lied to him that I've submitted his artwork. (my bad).

my last participation in this contest was on Roo in the Spotlight
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5308745.msg56232044#msg56232044

And since then, I have no chance to join this contest due to a lot of works. then I submitted my father's artwork under my account. I always stated that.

I hope you guys can invite your friends or family to join this contest too. I want to see more artworks here.

You guys should take the crown from @Maus0728  Grin

You guys should join this contest. Recommended!

31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use of cryptocurrency as an investment and exchange currency for FIAT. on: March 30, 2021, 06:47:27 PM
Like it or not, fiat is still the main currency. Cryptocurrency is a medium to represent fiat in digital way.

Bitcoin nowadays becomes asset rather than currency, but for sure the goal is still fiat.
Why I can say that? Because most people still talk about fiat price target for bitcoin.

Bitcoin might be not the future, but blockahin with its decentralization is the thing that will be the root of digital world.
Decentralization of cryptocurrency is an examples of democratization of currency.
You take full control of your currency, and no one will have a role higher/lower than you, because all is equal.

32  Economy / Economics / Re: Miami Mayor Will Allow Employee salaries in Bitcoin on: March 30, 2021, 05:56:34 PM
Everytime I read news about government and its policy, I always think that there’s must be another economical background that can makes them rich behind it, for example strategic partnership with big institutions, etc.
I believe this is one of it. They are trying to open partnership for money. It’s just my speculation opinion.

The most important things about this move is, they need to educate well their people about bitcoin.
Because I believe this move will gains a lot of interest.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin adoption isn't stopping on: March 30, 2021, 05:22:17 PM
When big financial intitutions already joined the party, now it’s the time for government to learn more about this situation, how they can takes taxes for this party  Grin
Big institutions is the key for bitcoin to accepted without any strictness. Yeah you know, big institutions are goverment’s friends. They both takes and gives money.
34  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth taking BTC off an exchange to a hardware wallet? on: March 30, 2021, 04:22:56 PM
as long as you have the keys, it's all good, security first.
but if you are an active trader, you need to give more effort and fees for transactions. it's worthed if you are a big trader.
if you are a crypto hodler, you know what to do.

by the way, safepal s1 hardware wallet price only $39.99. it's backed and invested by binance. this wallet has wallet holder offerings too. it supports dex and defi.
however, they haven't mentioned that their product is open source (not sure about now).
you can follow the thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5257785.0
I have a safepal s1 wallet but barely use it. still comfortable with a mobile wallet for daily use.

35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal created crypto checkout service!! on: March 30, 2021, 01:22:18 PM
So is it like a bitcoin payment gateway? Will the customers covers the network fees, plus paypal fees?
Or it’s only available for paypal users who already converted their fiat to bitcoin on their paypal app before?
Also, paypal is legally accepted in countries where cryptocurrecy was banned as a medium of transactions, how it will works?

Edited:
“Customers who hold bitcoin, ether, bitcoin cash and litecoin in PayPal digital wallets will now be able to convert their holdings into fiat currencies...”
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Large percentage of Americans still don't understand how bitcoin works on: March 29, 2021, 07:09:41 PM
I have a friend who already 5 years in crypto trading but still doesn’t know how to send crypto.
He treats crypto like stocks, he only trade it, and do nothing about it.
A few days ago he asked me how to send crypto to his wallet ouside the exchange market.
IMO, you may dont know how the crypto works, but for basic things like sending and receiving crypto, you must know it.
That is the most basic things that you can learn about crypto.
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you like Volatility? Debate on: March 29, 2021, 06:27:02 PM
Personally, I love the volatility.
I agree with you, it gives us an opportunity. Many of crypto users are still here on this industry because of the gains, not the technology. I always wonder what will happen when crypto price becomes more stable. Let say the fluctuation rate only 1-3% a day. I believe most of crypto users will leave crypto trading. Only big players will settle with that situation. You can see how the hype increase when crypto price is up/down significantly. Some people take the advantages of that situation, they wait for that moment. At that time, the cryptocurrencies moves from one hand to the other hands.
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did YOU start trading in bitcoin? on: March 29, 2021, 05:48:58 PM
How did you start trading in bitcoin?
I traded bitcoin for the first time in 2015-2016 I think (I am not sure).
the bitcoin price at that time was only 200-300 USD.
I knew about Bitcoin because I used it for a payment for a ponzi-schemed investment that I joined at that time. lol.
I bought bitcoin on a random website, OTC.

Do you have any tips for begginers?
I am not a good trader, but I can suggest you:
- set a target (profit/loss and long term/short term).
- set the portion of your portfolio
- don't all-in, hold some stablecoins will be good, just in case there are some dips.
- control your psychology.
- don't join pump/dump groups (signal groups).
- don't follow a price prediction, price target, or any other advice related to price on social media (by crypto influencers).
- only use money that you can afford to lose.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VISA Completes First Cryptocurrency Transaction on Ethereum on: March 29, 2021, 05:02:44 PM
I still don't understand the mechanism of the transactions.
so they will take another fee besides the network fees?
with the current gas fees, is it still a better offer rather than their conventional service?
or these stablecoins will be an underlying of the digits shown on the app?
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 29, 2021, 04:11:42 PM
I haven't read news regarding the first Tesla buyer who bought the car with Bitcoin yet.
I think Tesla did it for marketing purposes. But I do believe that Tesla really accepts Bitcoin as a payment method.
We already have "Lambo" things for a long time to represent wealth from cryptocurrency.
Tesla's move to accept Bitcoin could strengthen their brand image. "When Tesla" for now.
At least, now they have additional coverage for their market, which is cryptocurrency users.

Seems like Tesla licking Bitcoin, and vice versa  Grin You know the name of this position. lol
