701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: September 16, 2020, 04:07:43 PM
so scalability will always be a problem for the og bitcoin?
Satoshi's Bitcoin Whitepaper Title -> Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System - Bitcoin.org
But, I believe that most of the people used bitcoin as an asset, not as an electronic cash system.
That's why Bitcoin Lightning Network was created I think. CMIIW.
Have you ever tried to use the lightning network. I send 1000 satoshi, and the fee is only 3-6 sats.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance sued for money laundering over stolen bitcoin. on: September 16, 2020, 03:52:05 PM
It's funny how they are seeking for compensation for the losses as if it's Binance that was responsible for the poor security protocols in their shit exchange that led to hackers being able to steal all that bitcoin in the first place.

The 2 BTC rate per day is too small to launder such amounts of money unless they used so many fake accounts which brings the question of, how were they able to trace that all the bitcoins the claim went through Binance?

What kind of hacker would move such amounts of BTC to a centralized exchange where they can easily seize it without thinking of mixing it?

Yeah, agree with. Everytime I read news about a person/group suing an exchange as the destination of the hacker, it looks like they want to split the bill.  Grin
Nowadays, you can buy fake accounts with KYC. I saw it on a facebook crypto group.

704  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTS Amazon Echo Dot (3rd Gen) redeemable codes - $15 each on: September 16, 2020, 08:31:34 AM

So, is this product only available for Amazon US users only?

707  Economy / Services / Re: pakhitheboss: Campaign Management Service - Hire for Free!! on: September 14, 2020, 04:08:55 AM
on the other side, every project that might be promoted by you for free in the future may get a bad impression since they promote it for free.
it will make their images scammy. and as the campaign participant, we might think twice to join that project.

if you offer a free campaign management service like this,
maybe a non-profit project will be a better choice.
however, I wish you the best for your journey in this forum.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: September 13, 2020, 05:31:17 PM
I have done it several times, and I can say that 1.1x is still an unsafe odds.
I usually pick mix parlay with that kind of odds until I got 2x of odds.
But still, even 1.05x is not a safe odds. It surely depends on the league and team itself.
You cant blindly pick 1.1x odds for a league or team from out of nowhere.

709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Ways to Hack Bitcoin on: September 13, 2020, 05:05:42 PM
According to your title and post, only point number 3 that can be called as a way to hack bitcoin.
Because, the first 2 points only can be happen if there’s mistakes on the user side. Not directly to the system or network.
710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is possible that bitcoin will use nowadays in cash less transaction? on: September 13, 2020, 01:18:43 PM
Nowadays government thinking is a cashless society to avoid corona virus spread out to the community or society. It is possible that the bitcoin will used in different transaction? Many country nowadays are imposing the system of cash less basis of any transaction. Specially, particular in buying commodities in the department store, petroleum product in gasoline station. even in transportation government impose a cash less payment. Since bitcoin is one of the most popular digital currency in the world, do you think government adopt bitcoin as form payment in cash less transaction in our society?

IMO, surely bitcoin can be a cashless payment system. but it's not an ideal choice for micro-transactions for your daily needs.
because of the fee, transaction time, etc.

however, bitcoin lightning network might be the solution to this problem.
Instant Payment, Scalability, Low Cost, Cross Blockchains, etc.

711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 13, 2020, 12:50:55 PM
Why are odds on Leicster rising? Has there been some new injury news or? My multi from this morning has Leicester to win @2.05 and now I just placed another 5 mBTC on Leicester to win @2.30. I know Leicester defense will probably be a lot weaker than usual since they sold Chilvel and they are missing Pereyra, Evans ans Fucs but still 2.30 has a nice value for me. I am even considering adding another 5 mBTC on them after checking the line ups.

1. maybe because Leeds performance as a promoted team last night.
2. some players (mostly defenders), will be missed this match.
Jonny Evans (3 games), Wes Morgan, Christian Fuchs, and Daniel Amartey are all doubtful. Ricardo Pereira and Filip Benkovic are still sidelined with problems carried over from 2019-20.

712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 13, 2020, 12:40:52 PM
The Barcelona coach seems determined to bring Salah to Barcelona and he has become his main target, according to this report: https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1334859/Liverpool-transfer-news-Barcelona-Mohamed-Salah-top-target-Sadio-Mane-latest-gossip

Do you think this transfer is possible in the near future and that Liverpool could let Salah into Barcelona?
Personally, I think that would be a very bad decision for Liverpool and I hope that will not happen.

in the future,
but not in the near future.
They sold Suarez, and then Coutinho to Barcelona. 2 players that played well and became fans favorite at that moment.
Not to mention, they sold Sterling too.
no players bigger than the club.
Also, Klopp is a genius, I believe that he himself is the 50% part of this Liverpool side. No solah, no problem (I mean in the future  Grin).
713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 13, 2020, 06:10:03 AM
Arsenal and Liverpool has a good start this season.
meanwhile, Manchester United lost 1-0 against Aston Villa in a friendly match yesterday.
Surely they need to sign a target man. Otherwise, they will become mUnconsistent United again this season.

714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Send bitcoin to a address using paypal on: September 13, 2020, 04:10:45 AM
I don't get it, so you want a payment gateway that allows you to receive bitcoin from the client and send them PayPal as an exchange?

I think it will be possible soon because Paypal are going to allow buys and sells of crypto directly from PayPal and Venmo.

for now, you can try this:

it's not a surprise if a promoted team gives a surprise in their first match at EPL. Grin

Usually, they will be on fire for the first 5 matches and becomes so so for the rest of the season.

But, I am sure that Leeds can fight for the top 10 this season.

but wow, it's 3-3 ATM  Grin Grin Grin

716  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 12, 2020, 05:46:31 PM
world war 3 most likely an economic warfare.
but, the bridge to this economic warfare still uncertain.
if you love conspiracy theories, you can speculate that this pandemic situation is one of the bridges.

it's already happening now.
-the global recession
-stocks market down.

-gold price significantly up.
-defi (blockchain) boom, may lead bitcoin and other cryptos to the moon.

717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Call Bitcoin Blockchain? on: September 12, 2020, 04:20:16 PM
Why is the application of Blockchain to finance has this popularity than application of Blockchain to other sectors?

there are 3 things on a table,
a multi-vitamin (worth $15), a course membership (worth $20), and $10 of money.
you have to choose one, go.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 12, 2020, 03:32:28 PM
Newspaper needs to sell copies and get the clicks.
With COVID 19 almost no one can spend money in the market so they need to create fake news where they can.

And the next market session if they will not change the FPP will be even worse.

As Agnelli said as president of ECA in these 2 years the teams in Europe will lose 4Bilions, yes 4.000.000.000 €.

I agree with you, that's what I am thinking.
they (media) don't have much content because of 3 months of football break.
no football, no content, no traffic, no money.
this transfer window will be a big hit to recover their "loss".
