When you look at the comment here https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/izoto0/never_forget_where_we_came_from,
you will see there are many early adopters of bitcoin on that comment section.
and if you are one of them (early adopter at least you saw bitcoin price at $200-$400), you will instantly miss that moment.
ah... I wanna cry.

by the way, where can I get the high-res version of the OG pic?
643  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook on: September 27, 2020, 04:01:33 PM
What is the final time when this wagering contest will end ?
Also is this wagering contest only for those who are gambling using ripple ? Those who have cannot participate in it ?

open the website https://casineos.com/, scroll down, find the leaderboard tab.
when I post this reply, it said that the contest will ends in 3 h 59 min.
so, hurry up.
currently, with 25 XRP wagered, you can be in 13th place.
644  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Website | ~ $3000 Passive income per month on: September 27, 2020, 03:31:39 PM
do you mind to share the website url with me?
have you tried to sell your website on platforms like flippa?
also, I think you should move this thread to the digital goods section.

646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: September 27, 2020, 03:00:57 PM
The gold plating doesn't gonna be valued. If it is a piece of true gold, atleast it can be used as a collateral. Whenever we present a gift, it should give happiness or it needs to be useful. Based on the outlook the gift seems to be worthy, but this isn't the perfect value for money in my view.

The focus here is the bitcoin paper wallet, not the fake physical bitcoin.
Since casasicus bitcoin is expensive, I am thinking about the cheap version of it.
I have searched on online marketplaces, a fake bitcoin price is cheap, around $1.5 - $2.5
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Christmas on: September 27, 2020, 02:35:22 PM
How about this,
A fake gold plated physical bitcoin + a bitcoin paper wallet, inside a luxury black box.
And inside the box, you should put something like intro to bitcoin (bitcoin101), fun fact, or trivia.

649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A woman has been arrested in the United States for hiring a killer with bitcoin on: September 26, 2020, 06:04:58 PM
I'm not saying you copy-pasted this post, but since it sounds quite as if you did, you should add the source to your article, if not you will be banned for plagiarism.

I have added the source. Sorry you did not read it:

According to coindesk Thirty-six-year-old Kristy Lynn Felkins has been summoned to court on charges of paying 12 bitcoins ($ 5,000 at the time) for trying to hire a killer to kill his ex-wife. The case is said to be related to another case involving the recruitment of a killer. It is worth noting that this killer was not hired in the end.

Also, I did not copy the text and turned it into an article.
And this statement of yours upset me. Sad

he means you should add the source link.
https://www.coindesk.com/nevada-woman-charged-in-bitcoin-murder-for-hire-as-a-mystery-hacker-again-turns-tipster

she ordered a hitman(s) in 2016. no wonder she paid 12 bitcoins which worth $5,000 at the time.
650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: September 26, 2020, 05:47:49 PM
  • People cannot born them from blown air and some day they will not be able to earn from coinbase's rewards.
  • Over time, it will still have value.
  • It cannot be spoiled by human.
  • It is decentralized, no one controls it.
  • You can send/receive the currency really quickly.

so the last point refers to bitcoin lightning network then.

hmm, I found this on Wikipedia when I searched for ideal money.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideal_money
it explains bitcoin and ideal money from Nash's perspectives.

653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: September 26, 2020, 04:30:20 PM
I have never witnessed so much drama in a premier league match than I just witnessed in the Manchester United vs Brighton match, and Manchester United had to thank VAR and the goal post for helping them secure the full three points.

we had a great drama against Bayern in CL 1999.
we had a great drama against Chelsea in CL 2008.
and now we just have a 100 minutes drama against Brighton in this PL 2020 (pandemic edition).
it's an irony.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: How I Turn $0.001 into 1 BTC #MyBitcoinJourney #TradeItWithTed on: September 26, 2020, 04:08:47 PM
but is it mean that LN can't be used for something like donation/tip jar?
single invoice but can't be paid by more than 1 person?
There are things like Tippin.me, which is custodial. But LN is highly experimental, I'm pretty sure other solutions will emerge too.

I hope there will be a service that can automatically generate invoices based on the payer's input.

i don't know if the story you mentioned is the same with the one i have read years back, about that small item and He made a trade after and after to get what he wanted.

But you are an admiration for many of us here who wanted to have a Whole bitcoin but don't know how.

I will be following this thread for the updates.

Please Keep us updated mate and i wish you more luck and progress.

hi rodskee,
thanks for coming.
do you mean one red paper clip story?

UPDATE HARI INI:
ane dapat tawaran trading 1,001 satoshi LN dengan 500 DOGE.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5274318.msg55256398#msg55256398
tapi, dengan sedikit bumbu cross chain swap yang sepertinya sulit untuk ane mengerti.

sejauh ini yg ane baca baru nemu artikel crosschain swap bitcoin LN ke litecoin.
https://blog.lightning.engineering/announcement/2017/11/16/ln-swap.html

jika ada penawaran member sini yang lebih simple, ane akan mempertimbangkannya.
untuk sementara waktu ane akan ubek2 crosschain swap ini untuk minimal dimengerti.

Not sure if pogba was already fits since his covid or he just lost his touch.
He failed to create a chance and he had the lowest pass accuracy of any Man Utd player. It’s only 71% tho.

juve sold the wrong pogba to united.
But it’s good to have the first 3 points today.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My 0.1 BTC Journey on: September 25, 2020, 06:18:35 PM
your story started happy but the ending didnt go well . btc on the year 2016 was still cheap so 0.8btc for someone that is a site creator is kinda small but thats okay because atleast you experience to use a btc for the first time  . now that you know that btc value can rose high , you can still try again . i know you can accumulate that amount or much higher than that with that skill you have  .  a journey doesnt always mean that its succesful but it can also started  as bad although you can fixed it and make it good in the long run  .

yes, it was still cheap in 2016.
I got 0.8 btc from several orders, not 1 order.  Grin
my rate was 0.1 btc for wp installation with a ready-made template.
I sold that btc and I used the money to pay my debt and bought a cheap smartphone.
the smartphone itself cost me 0.2 btc. now it becomes an expensive smartphone tho. lol
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What was your Worst losing streak at bitcoin dice with 1.5 payout? on: September 25, 2020, 06:06:14 PM
i was using 1.5 payout with LTC ... 2.9 LTC on hand but i faced such a streak of reds where i was expecting its going to end on 8 but no then 9 but no then 10 but no then 11 but no .... after 10 i was to half the bet 2 times ... this way still i goes to make a loss of 2.5 in 19 Reds streak ...

...

my favoriet payout is 1.88 ... with 125% increase ... 7 streak stop at auto ... then decrease bet to half and play sami auto by 1 loss streak STOP... 1 stoshi profit stop...

Best of luck you all friends ... i am new in dice ...

Thanks ...

19 reds streak using 1.5 payout? that is the craziest thing that I read today on this forum  Grin
I feel sorry for you.

my favorite payout is 1.1. I increase it 900% on loss.
but still. even 90% chance of win, I got 4-6 reds streak if I am not mistaken.
oh, and the bet was stopped because I don't have enough balance anymore.
it's posibble that it can be more than 4-6 reds streak. lol
