maybe you could check wbet7 too.
previously, a member here who is a player on wbet7 too created a thread about that site.
he was faced with a pending withdrawal of a big amount of money on wbet7,
he told us that he would commit suicide because of this case.

402  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Airbnb next to accept Bitcoin ? on: November 27, 2020, 10:55:58 PM
As per various news sources there are speculations that Airbnb will be next in the line to accept Bitcoin (crypto currency) as payment method after PayPal integrated it.

I feel Airbnb will accept Bitcoin to boost their own business as well since travel industry is the most hard hit during pandemic and I am sure more will follow especially businesses like eCommerce and digital based.

What's your opinion ?

Previously Airbnb services can be paid with AirBnb gift cards that you can buy on FoldApp. However, I can't see AirBnb option at FoldApp now.

https://www.pymnts.com/blockchain/bitcoin/2019/bitcoin-daily-fold-crypto-app-offers-bitcoin-rewards-on-airbnb-stays-jpmorgan-temasek-mas-team-on-blockchain-prototype/

I live in a tourist destination area where AirBnb is a common thing. However, bitcoin was banned to be a currency since 2017 here.
I don't think AirBnb x Bitcoin will be widely adopted.

I am not a good gambler. I've never won big money from gambling since I only bet a small amount of money.
however, I got money from betting site affiliation which is huge for me. Maybe marketing is my stronger point rather than gambling.
I've collected more than $10K from doing nothing in gambling in 2012-2013.
I am glad that I am not addicted to gambling. I still can manage myself from gambling.
So, I spent that money to buy gadgets, a motorcycle, etc. I gave some to my parents too, because I think it's not money from my gambling activity, but I got it by promoting a website. So, I think it's fine  Grin
I didn't have financial planning at that time, so the only thing left from that money is my motorcycle.
Gambling affiliation earning is till gambling money lol. You got it by promoting a "gambling website". Those sites pay you from others gambling money. I don't know why people are being so "weird" about gambling money. What's wrong with that? You bet money for fun, you win and you get your reward. It is not like you stole the money from someone or earned it illegally.
Why don't you continue with affiliation marketing? You seem to be doing good.

I have a different perspective on it. but, I agree that the money from gambling affiliation gathered from the gambling activities.
I made a review and explanation about gambling sites, so I didn't gamble at that point.

I used this analogy, CMIIW.
A and B confronted with legal action. A hire lawyer Y, and B hire lawyer Z.
there will be a guilty one on this case.
when the judge decides that B is on the guilty side, will lawyer Z be sued for supporting a guilty person?

same as when I got money from gambling sites, and I buy something at a store.
is it mean they got the gambling money?

personally, I don't have any problem using that money, even if I got it from winning a bet. some people have an issue with it due to religious prohibition. maybe they feel ashamed by feeding their family with gambling money. also, gambling is illegal in my country.

I've tried to continue to do the same thing, however, it didn't go well.
Maybe what I did in the past just a 1 hit wonder.  Grin
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 27, 2020, 12:10:26 PM
They have an allocated budget for it.

They won't just get in without having this scene on their mind. I'm sure that they have anticipated when the market is down or up, it's probably have been done through conducting simulations and test what will be the company's status and stand if something like this happens.

It's a matter of business and planning and they have set it on and have foreseen each situation even the uncaught ones to have a called action for it.

yeah, I do believe everything is well calculated on their side. I just wondering how.

They accept Bitcoin, they allow bets in bitcoin and they allows players to withdraw them in bitcoin then why they need to worry about the price increase interms of fiat value which is never going to get stable anyway.

some gambling websites accept crypto as a payment method for deposit and withdrawal only.
they convert our crypto into fiat, we bet with fiat on their website.

for example:

1 BTC= 10 USD.
when we deposit 1 bitcoin, our account will be credited with 10 USD.

after a while, 1 BTC = 5 USD
when we withdraw that 10 USD, it will become 2 BTC.
the gambling site needs to send us more bitcoin.
CMIIW.
407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Take Profits in BTC or USDT on: November 26, 2020, 11:55:31 PM
based on my experience, I always take profits in USDT, because it's the stable one.
with the current market situation, it should indirectly give you the answer to your question.
take your profits when you can, use fiat/stablecoin, don't be greedy, wait for another momentum, be realistic.

also, I have a plan to secure my capital first when the market is up.
for example, I trade $100 for BTC. when the price is up by 10%, I will take back my capital which is $100.
and I will leave the rest (10%) as it is, as my win-win trade.
408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: November 26, 2020, 11:26:39 PM
the private key / seed is a private thing.
I regularly checked on this thread to get new insight on how people store their private key /seed.
steganography is my favorite, but I haven't tried it yet.

maybe this is optional, but...
wherever you store your private key or seed, make sure to have some guidance for people who you trust the most, to tell them that you own crypto.
you could consider reading the discussion on the thread below.

409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocking accounts by PayPal for crypto activity on: November 26, 2020, 11:09:31 PM
yeah, that's what I warned about on almost every PayPal related thread on this board.
they can give you limitations whenever they want. the first time my Paypal got locked before because I used a different connection to logged in.
the second time, it was locked because I send money to an unverified account.
PayPal has a strict system. Maybe it's good for some people, but not for me.
luckily it's only a small amount of money.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Site Buys $100 Million of Bitcoin Every Month to Pay Players in BTC on: November 26, 2020, 10:47:32 PM
I wonder how a gambling website that accepts crypto can manage the cash flow.
because, they bought crypto for players' withdrawal, but when the market is crashing like now, they need to pay more in crypto.
even when the market is steady, there are always players that want to withdraw their money when the crypto price is down a little to get more in crypto.
yeah, I am one of those players.

Your bitcoin will be safe in heaven with you my friend, unless you tell someone before your death.
I am literally laughing reading the tittle. not because it sounds ridiculous, but it’s relates to me. Believe me or not, I always think about it, almost everytime I saw my portfolio significantly up. Lol
I have conservative parents, they dont even know how to facebook (oh, but they know how to youtube).
I have already told the, about bitcoin, at least it sounds familiar when they heard a word “bitcoin”.
I am about to write a guidance to locate and use my bitcoin after this.

Glad that I am not the only one  Grin

414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my situation with bitcoin how it helped me real use case today on: November 25, 2020, 07:06:34 PM
so my friend has money but not same bank as me he was different country but he wanted to give money to me and i need it fast so he bought bitcoin and i got money same day Smiley

he never used bitcoins and he thinks now its amazing:)  btc really solved that situation that he had different bank then me and not possible physically to give money

1 new notification:
Visa, Mastercard, and Paypal left the group
Lol

But, due to the volatility and confirmation time,
Why do you choose bitcoin rather than stablecoin, for example usdt trc20.
Low fee, stable, and faster.

I know this is bitcoin discussion board, I am bitcoin fan too.
but I am just trying to be more realistic.
CMIIW, maybe I miss something on this.
415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: November 25, 2020, 06:10:02 PM
In 2017 bitcoin was banned by our goverment to become a currency in my country.
Now, Bitcoin is legal as a commodity here. However, it still can’t be used as a currency.
We called it digital asset or crypto asset instead of cryptocurrency.

Personally I have never spend my bitcoin for something, online or offline.
But, sometime I got paid with bitcoin for services that I provided (cross border payment).

I exchange some of my bitcoin into fiat, I also trade and hodl it.
Currently, I want to invest my profit into stocks.
I am not a bitcoin-die-hard who hodl bitcoin and doing nothing about it.
(Maybe I am bad about it)

417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dose meme helps a crypto to be viral? on: November 24, 2020, 11:58:38 PM
In recent time i noticed such thing that in every new project or old project announced meme contest. Where they give such big amount in community for making memes about their project . Now what do you think is this memes really can attract investors?

yeah, it can attract more investors because memes are marketing material. usually, this kind of contest requires the contestants to share their memes on social media. it surely can boost the brand awareness of the project itself.

No I don't believe that. Actually, I would say that memes kinda humiliate their subject, at least from my perspective. Dogecoin is the only exception since it's a meme itself. I still don't get how the hell did that crypto go that far. People sometimes just want to repeat a significant event with the belief that it will succeed. Accept it, no first crypto adopters will have the same luck as the bitcoin's ones!

Anyway, I went a little off-topic. Forgive me.  Cheesy

There is a bunch of meme coin in this crypto space. and yes, doge is the oldest and strongest meme coin.
Besides dogecoin, there are banano and nyancoin which has popularity too. nyancoin is not active anymore, but banano community is one of the biggest among meme coin.
418  Economy / Services / Re: Vipgame.io | Bitcointalk Logo Contest ~ $50 up for grabs! on: November 24, 2020, 11:40:13 PM
Congrats to payjoe93 and crwth.
Actually, my favorite is payjoe93’s first submission. The color is satisfying to see.
Crwth design also looks playful to me.
Well judged by hhampuz and vipgame.io.
Same like examplens, my design is free to be used if it’s needed (although, mine is not good enough). Yes, no strings attached too.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered the “gold” of crypto investment? on: November 24, 2020, 11:15:18 PM
I don't think gold is an investment. IMO, gold is only good for storing value.
if you considered bitcoin as a crypto-investment's gold, it might be relatable when you look at the popularity.
but when you look at the volatility, stablecoin is the gold, because it can store the value of your money in form of digital assets with low volatility.
CMIIW.

as other members said, it can't be compared in terms of investment.
IMO, bitcoin regularly compared to gold just to make make an analogy to help people understand bitcoin in a nutshell.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: November 24, 2020, 10:45:44 PM
...
In the last few months, I have been very bored and tired of fighting in the sports betting arena, for various reasons my favorite team has contracted Covid and many other reasons, I can't rely on it anymore, for a while I decided to temporarily stop gambling football and will switch to the world of online gambling called (Roulette), looks a little relaxed, but convincing, not much of a challenge, if the guess is right.
...
My question is: there is something to learn about roulette gambling, or just luck in this game.
...

a game where the outcomes determined by chances cant be well-analyzed.
roulette game has confusing multiplier to me.
if you want a more simple game, you can try the crash game.

also, why don't you try skilled games?
