581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 09, 2020, 07:27:28 PM
bitcoin has no reward or guaranteed returns for buying bitcoin.
but bitcoin has a reward for people who join and contribute to its blockchain.
it is 2 different things.

bitcoin was created to be a digital currency.
it's not ponzi scheme, but it can be a medium for a ponzi scheme business to live.

bitcoin has no hierarchy, everyone is equal.
bitcoin should be not open-source if it is a ponzi scheme.

582  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 09, 2020, 07:12:27 PM
still no country has approved Bitcoin ??

it is legal here in my country, Indonesia. yes, it's approved by the government.
however, it was approved as a commodity. it's regulated and legal to trade bitcoin here.
just like any other country.

but, if you mean bitcoin as a medium of payment, it's strictly forbidden here.
but since it decentralized and has a strong privacy point, people still used it as a medium of payment illegally, OTC.
I believe it happens in other countries as well.
583  Economy / Gambling / Re: List of CRYPTO GAMBLING & BETTING SITES with bonus & promo codes! Site And App on: October 09, 2020, 06:11:33 PM
I suggest you add Betnomi to your website.
Website: https://www.betnomi.com/
BTT Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5279745.0

It has live casino games, and their affiliate bonus is up to 35%. bigger than any other crypto websites.
Link: https://affiliates.betnomi.com/

I know I wear their signature, but I hope you consider it as additional information for your website. not as a bias.

also, I want to ask what is the difference between a verified website and a non-verified website?
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: October 09, 2020, 05:31:39 PM
I've seen a lot of creative ideas above, but I think most of them are unnecessary. I wrote my seed on paper and tried to memorize it and then burned the paper. Actually, it is really easy, only has 24 words. If you read only for one hour, you can memorize it very easily.

you can easily remember it in just one hour, but you can forget it instantly when you need it. mark my words.  Grin
it just likes how we took a school exam in the past.

personally, I stored my seed in a notebook. that notebook contains many seeds from different crypto wallets.
I know it's risky, but that's why I am here. I need more insight from other members about the safe and creative way to store the seed.
585  Economy / Services / Re: [LN payment] Hugeblack's avatar redesign on: October 09, 2020, 05:13:17 PM
this is my design.
I used the maze vector that you uploaded and put it on the cap.
I changed the color to green because BestChange main color is green.
Your username is Hugeblack, so I changed the cap into black color.

and this is..

a BestChange black cap with a green line maze.

586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 08, 2020, 04:41:53 PM
some people don't like to learn new things.
mostly conservative people who think all of the digital money is not money.
only money with physical form counts as money.
your chance to tell them about bitcoin is small.
the only things that the internet teaches them only whatsapp, facebook, and youtube.  Grin

when it comes to non-conservative people who still refuse bitcoin as payment,
they think about more things like the fee, volatility, complexity, etc.

not to mention, most people still think bitcoin is a scam, ponzi, or MLM  Grin
587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question: Is there any websites where I can gamble crypto under 18? on: October 08, 2020, 04:18:14 PM
there are many betting sites that only allow 18+ users to register.
but, I think most of the sites won't ask you for the KYC document unless you withdraw with a suspicious amount of money.
I started online betting in 2009, and they (all of the betting sites I joined) never asked to fulfill any KYC documents until now.

however, this is based on my experience.
I don't recommend you to gamble when you are under 18.
please mind your psychology and money.
588  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 08, 2020, 02:33:56 PM
I think it is as OP said its up to 7th and its now 8th

Ah yes but bit confused as there are new submissions after the deadline. If it's not over yet I'll probably update my design.

Yeah, I did it for fun during my free time.
Since this is my hobby, I just upload it here too.
I don't mind if my last design is not included in this contest.
that's why I create a new post instead of merged it on my previous submission.
I don't want to harm this contest.
589  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 08, 2020, 12:13:59 PM
I saw Jayce logo mockup, and I realized that most of the well-known fashion brands using a name-based logo.
They used their company name as a key element of the logo design.
So I create this one.

I will merge my submission if needed.

591  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Everything there is to know about Blockchain PR on: October 08, 2020, 06:54:03 AM
I am running a crypto media, would love to have a discussion about this topic.
IMO, most of people didn't read PR that much. people don't care about it.

but, when a new born company has their name mentioned on a media, it just like their portfolio.
"oh look at this media, we just got mentioned by them".

instead of a PR, I suggest a company to have a sustainable collaboration like having a soft-selling campaign.
for example, if you have an online crypto casino, try to make a post about comparing online casino (fee, games, etc), things to do with your crypto (playing on crypto casino), how to get crypto for free (online crypto casino free bet), etc.
592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yeees it's happening on: October 07, 2020, 05:25:31 PM
there is more than 500 bitcoin atm under rockitcoin network in USA.
https://coinatmradar.com/operator/170/rockitcoin-bitcoin-atm-operator/

however, I read bad reviews about this operator.
https://jasonpearce.com/2017/09/02/rockitcoin-atm-rates-will-cheat-you/
https://cryptos.com/rockitcoin-launches-new-atms-in-americas-heartland/

and it seems like complicated to use a bitcoin atm by reading the review.
it's like you will do the KYC on-site  Grin
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 07, 2020, 04:56:24 PM
I just read your previous thread,
that's a crazy exchange fee. 5% for buying, 3% for selling fee. May I know which exchange?

I suggest to you get in touch with your local crypto community.
I saw some crypto group called bitcoin kuwait, and something like that on social media.
maybe you can get a new insight from local bitcoin users there.
we can't give you suggestions specifically since we don't know how bitcoin in Kuwait.
I agree with some members here, you can try P2P exchange feature from a well-known exchange like Binance.
594  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 07, 2020, 04:30:14 PM

The contest would end on 7th Oct 2020

And after another 2 days we will declare the results, i.e on 9th Oct 2020.
..

or..
it has the same exact time as the first one.
7th October 2020, 5:00 PM GMT

..
The contest will end 3rd October 2020, 5:00 PM GMT.
..

I wish you join this contest too, Jayce.
595  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are people giving up on Bitcoin too quickly? on: October 07, 2020, 03:58:51 PM
I have been reading many posts that show signs to be that people are giving up on Bitcoin's technical development to become an actual currency, and also shows signs to be ready to sell after the next surge to ATH.

I believe it's too soon. Bitcoin's benefit for improvement outweighs the cost in my opinion.

HODL!

first, you should add links to the post that you are talking about. so, we won't be misled about this topic.

IMO, most bitcoin early adopter who indirectly involved with bitcoin development already made their own path.
they made their own crypto, startup, or other blockchain company. so, maybe it makes people think that bitcoin development is too slow.

but,

let say on this forum.
we regularly saw a new bitcoin project from a company or just a community project.
not to mention the crypto gambling site that launched and always promoting their service regularly on this forum.
it just a little example of bitcoin development as an actual currency (in general).

597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 06, 2020, 06:38:51 PM
And there is at least one more ICO "back by him" that I have seen being advertised around.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237861

With John McAfee being arrested for these criminal charges, I feel bad for YOUC project.
Because it seems like they just highlighting and promoting John McAfee supports instead of their project.

Now, people will think that this project (YOUC) is only the same project as the other 7 ICO projects that reported in this article
https://www.coindesk.com/sec-alleges-john-mcafee-pumped-tokens-for-profit

598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN basher, the Liar 'John McAfee' is finally Arrested on: October 06, 2020, 04:53:06 PM
Quote
McAfee allegedly received BTC and ETH worth more than $11.6 million for promoting seven ICOs in 2017 and 2018.

John McAfee was everywhere in ICOs 2017 and 2018.
Even a useless token used his name for promotion.
The funny thing is it worked!
I remember how Bob's Repair got so many campaign participants back then Grin
599  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest] Logo designing for a fashion brand on: October 06, 2020, 02:23:03 PM

this is my old submission.

600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 05, 2020, 06:11:31 AM
  • Man U: Surely, we're now the worst team for this week!
  • Liverpool: Hold my beer Grin

I thought this season will be a boring EPL season with no supporter + Liverpool domination.
This is week is really entertaining. We as supporters can laugh to each other. It's like a GIFT that can entertain us, every football fans during this pandemic situation.
We saw City lost 2-5,
United lost 1-6
Liverpool lost 7-2
Fair enough for all EPL supporters  Grin

Down to 3 in the first half is not for every team. Chelsea ended it better.
