481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To be Fair I think bitcoin will go highest highs and then will collapse on: November 25, 2020, 07:00:10 PM
To be Fair and honest

Btc will go highest high and then will collapse!
Becouse bitcoin dont have much of utility its expensive to exchange in to fiat currency.
Slow confirmations.

But there is solution: xrp is solution Low fees and Fast transactions.

I give maximum life time for btc 2 years then it will collapse, reason is simple expensive fees and slow confirmations.

How high bitcoin will go, no one knows about it exactly. Also there is no future for XRP in the long run and also it is not much popular among the bitcoin holders. On the other hand, Bitcoin will be widely used everywhere in the world.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) Mixer on: November 25, 2020, 04:09:34 PM
Well, it is an alternative to the suggestion above, [ https://eth-mixer.com/ ]
Make sure that you have fully read the Frequently ask questionS [FAQ] before you will proceed and use their service.
However, you can use exchange [Binance] if you want to swap your ETH to BTC if you want privacy.

For decentralized Ethereum mixer -- [ https://github.com/yaronvel/smart_contracts/tree/master/mixer ]

How can i use binance to mix my coins ? I do not want to convert ethereum to bitcoins as mentioned by you.
When you convert your coins into other cryptos then the traces are going to end at that moment so you can use any exchange for conversion but it can't be considered as completely anonymous because exchanges knows the information and maybe given to authority if there is need for that in future.

The only option left for me is to transfer the Ethereums to exchange and trade them with bitcoins and then again convert them to ethereum  Huh

Common developers, you need to develop an Eth mixer and you will have a lot of customers.

There is not much demand of Ethereum mixer that's why you do not see any genuine ethereum mixers in the market.  You need to look for alternate options other than the eth mixer.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🔥[ANN] [ICO] JACS - Internet 3.0 Decentralized Infrastructure 🔥✅ on: November 25, 2020, 03:38:32 PM
talking about selling ico 1JACS tokens = 0.0004ETH and will enter the next stage in the next 10 hours, yes that is true and clearly seen on the website, can you mention how much funds have been collected from the sale of ico? and when will all jacs token sale be completed? and how to proceed if sales do not reach the target?
If you read some of the posts you will definitely find the answer, the sales are not so good and for how much the funds raised will probably be published after all is over, all you need to know is that the ICO will end on 29 November and there will be no renewals, even though the sales are not good but they will continue the development because they have enough funds during the private sale and pre ICO
Yes, they have recently end their ICO, so no problem with the token and its price. Through it use of bleeding edge innovation, for example, association less organization services(CLNS), blockchain innovation and a devoted group of experts JACS vision will be a triumph.
Small correction: The ICO is still running. It ends on the 29th of November

I think many people will invest in the remaining few days of the private sale / ICO. Seeing the bitcoin is near the all time high and so much positivity in the market, good new tokens like JCAS can reach very good prices in the short term.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitWhite [Official] on: November 25, 2020, 03:32:10 PM
I still see that BTW is listed on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitwhite/ and also traded at Mercatox, https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/mercatox/
Is this coin still alive and insiplte of the swipe this BTW still has value of 11 Satoshi ?
BitcoinWhite has been swapped to Aigar, so, please don't buy any BitcoinWhite/BTW coins on any exchange, if you are buying it, you will lose your money. I'm not following any Aigar development anymore, so if you need another info, please check out the new ann on previous posts.

If the token is swapped to Aigar, the old token bitwhite should be delisted from exchanges and coinmarketcap. Also on visiting the http://aigar.network, i can see the token Aigar is converting to EVRICE. Look like team is just focusing on swapping coins to increase the prices of their tokens and accumulate profits by selling their tokens.
485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin be Trade at $318,000 by End of 2021? on: November 20, 2020, 02:04:41 PM
No i dont think so. It's too much to ask currently. I guess next couple of years will be bearish. We may see bitcoin breaking previous ATH by the end of this year.

No, the next year will not be bearish one. I think bitcoin can break records in next year 2021 as it did in 2017. We cannot imagine right now how high bitcoin can go. It may reach 50,000$ or could go to 500,000$. Anything is possible once it comes to bitcoin price.
486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: coinbase identity info on: November 20, 2020, 01:40:30 PM
Why is coinbase now asking for my identity info information relating to work and how much I am going to to invest in the future
is it doing this with everyone
I am not a big investor very modest actually and I filled out certain details when I joined the site

I just logged in my coinbase account to check if it asks from me also . It only ask me to "Agree" on the new terms and condition but did not ask for the information as told by you. Are you buying bitcoins using coinbase ?
487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: November 20, 2020, 01:16:37 PM
Bitcoin is still not known by everyone, only 20% of the world's population is familiar with bitcoin and playing in it,
yes of course people are still hard to accept bitcoin because we know about volatility,
Bitcoin is known as a bubble in 2017-2018, and if 2020-2021 happens again so I don't know what will happen,
whether Bitcoin will be hated or not.

Those people who are using bitcoin and trading it will never hate it. They know the potential and future of bitcoin. However there are people who are being scammed by the cheaters through ponzi schemes which ask them to invest bitcoins. Those people will have bad experience and they hesitate to use it.

Admin shared in the group that the token is listed on Etherdelta and Bitskrix but there is no order yet on etherdelta. No liquidity on both exchange but its a good way to start up, attract traders and investors. The team is keeping me impressed somehow   https://app.bitskrix.com/exchange/?market=JACS_USD

Good to see that the token is already listed on the exchanges even before the ICO finish. I am sure once the ICO is finished, the trading will start on these two exchanges and also it will be listed on many more exchanges in coming days.  Smiley
490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any idea when the Bitcoin Mempool will stop being so congested? on: November 19, 2020, 02:09:10 PM
According to Earn.com, the median transaction fee has fallen to 330 Sat/Byte, which is lower than what we had a few days back. But depending on the size of your transaction, you may end up paying anywhere from $2 to $10, if you want a quick confirmation. You can try your luck with lower amounts, but don't blame me in case your transaction gets stuck for 2-3 days.

Bitcoin prices are increasing lately and will this encourage miners to start their rigs if they had stopped it for any reasons. Also maybe new miners will join the party which may help to increase the tx confirmation speed but the tx cost will remain high because of high prices.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) Mixer on: November 19, 2020, 07:15:43 AM
Can anyone suggest me the best and cheapest Ethereum mixer ?

I want to mix my Ethereums but need to find a trusted service.
Some people above me have suggested about eth-mixed.com and i have seen that there's a member in this forum has tried that

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2930843.0

It's an official announcement thread of eth-mixed and he was also writing his exp by use eth-service.

It's not a recommended thing to mixing a lot of ethereum. I think that you can test it with small amount of money but becareful

I checked that thread for eth-mixer.com. There are not much reviews there. One person suggests not to deposit big amount on this site while the other one did recovered his 10 Eth after negotiation with the site support. I think OP should avoid this site as not to get in any sort of trouble.
492  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about crypto profit on: November 19, 2020, 07:02:24 AM
Hi there!

I don't get it, why would people would invest in BTC now? current price is $16K but people still invest in it.

even if it reaches imaginary price of $32K people would get just +100% of what they've risked while you can invest in altcoins and MAYBE get easily 10x-100x on your risked amount...

I mean what's your thoughts about it?
What coin do you think will 100x within a year? <3

When the prices are low, people hesitate to buy and think that the price may further dump and they will be able to buy more cheap. The prices does not dump after a certain level and when they see the prices going high, they have the feeling of "fear of missing out" (FOMO), so that try to buy it at the current market price and don't think that the price is too high now and can dump.

Also everywhere on the social media, there is so much buzz about bitcoin going to all time high and making new heights, so people tend to jump in the train when they should not. There are acting as more greedy , rather then sensible.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap or Coingecko? on: November 18, 2020, 07:43:13 PM
I used to visit CMC in my early days in crypto but now I'm more comfortable with Coingecko. It gives me the sort of analytics I need on tokens at a glance without clicking many buttons.

In terms of exchange ranking, both CMC and CG may be unable to get the perfect data for ranking due to common practices of wash trading, bot trading, fake pumps many exchanges indulge in.

I heard that coinmarketcap was sold to Binance. Is there any truth about this news ?

Also i see a lot of ads in coinmarketcap which is another reason i use Coingecko more often these days.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: November 18, 2020, 07:35:27 PM

There are lots of member busy on catching those who abused the principles at Scam Accusations thread.
Most of those cheaters have been caught and reported on Reputation thread, not scam accusation. Scam accusation is needed when the project turned to scam and ran away with their ICO/IEO/Defi money.

I don't want to blame the bounty manager because a project will be a success or a failure there is nothing for the bounty manager to do.
Managers MUST do some little research first before he accepting the project they want managed. At least, escrow the bounty funds to them or trusted escrower.
In fact, professional manager always do more research on a project. so many times the manager idea is wrong, so there is nothing wrong with the manager. If the ICO/IEO of a project goes to fails then there is no mistake of bounty manager. Also at this time almost all the projects are cheating and scamming where many managers are not willing to manage the bounty at this time.

People needs to understand that the manager of the bounty is not the manager of the project. He is only paid to manage the bounty.
So in case if the bounty project becomes a failure in future, the bounty manager has noting to do with it.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 18, 2020, 09:23:29 AM

what do you think ? is this the time for ethereum to grow and touch $1k before this year end ?
I think even though eth is in a very positive development with the issuance of eth 2.0 but to reach a price of $ 1k at the end of the year it will be very difficult, although not impossible, but if by the end of the year bitcoin can reach $ 20k then I think that's when eth will hit $ 1k.

Currently the bitcoin is on the pump but as soon as this rally stops, the money will move into the altcoins. Fortunately Ethereum is on a hype because of ETH 2.0 and most of the money will flow in this coin.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Corona virus (COVID19) Effect in Cryptocurrency Gambling on: May 17, 2020, 06:46:58 PM
I agree that I do not think that the coronavirus can have any effect on crypto gambling It's a great time to gamble from sitting in the lockdown. If everything is off due to the virus, it is temporary However, crypto casinos will never close Since it is online-based we can easily overcome the bad situation by making a profit by gambling The popularity of crypto gambling is increasing due to the lockdown People are participating in the game more and more.

Lock down restrictions are getting lifted in most parts of the world. Do you think that once physical casino are opened people will visit them or are they happy playing gambling in online casinos ? Some people may not go to casino again and hence physical casino may lose some of their customers.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 17, 2020, 05:56:48 PM
The decision has been taken at the ICC board meeting last Friday shows that they have three options for the upcoming T-20 World Cup.

1) The first option allows crowds with a 14-days quarantine as per the T20 global schedule.
2) The second is that there will be no spectators in any stadium during the T-20 World Cup.
3) The third option is to move the tournament to 2022.

Source: News18

So those who want to watch the match should keep themselves in quarantine  and remain away from their jobs, study & business only to watch the match ? How practical is that option ?  Would you be willing to remain idle for 14 days only to watch 4 hours of live cricket in the stadium ?
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling hiding, rules ignored. on: May 17, 2020, 05:06:45 PM
A little story in my place of residence, last night I went out around 00, time in my country, and I passed a casino place that during this time, there were rules from the government while all land casinos were closed to prevent covid-19 outbreaks, allcountries have that rule, maybe.

Strangely, the hour to 01 (night), I saw one by one people continue to arrive and enter the casino building, finally I also went in to see what was done by that person, at the end of the story the person put up a bet and gambled.
That's what gambling addicts do, even though the government forbids people from visiting casinos, however, ignoring them, in their minds betting and gambling, ignoring the rules.

note:
they all use masks and gloves.

- And how in your country, did you find something similar like I found...!
- Is this the only thing I have met in my country...!
- Did you all find the same thing...!

If the government have closed the casino in the country, then it is illegal to open them at mid nights. You should have reported it to the police or law enforcement agencies and they would have fined the owner of the casino. This is very irresponsible act from the casino owner and should be punished for it.
499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 17, 2020, 04:19:27 PM
Anyone not caught up with all their outstanding jobs yet during the lockdown?

with my wife creating new jobs and projects by the second? i will never catch up.

Most of the people have lost their jobs in the lockdown and companies have downsized and limited their operations. The most beneifical persons are those who have their own business over the internet.

Could break 10k today.

I hope bitcoin does break the 10,000$ today and do not disappoint us again. Bitcoin is trying to climb the ladder many times in past few days but bulls doesn't seems to have the final power.
