941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: March 24, 2018, 06:56:19 AM
There are few different ways to store your bitcoin depending on how secure you want to be and how much you plan to use it on a regular basis . I secure my bitcoin paper wallet, if you don't plan on touching your bitcoin for a while than paper wallet is a good option.
942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: March 24, 2018, 05:23:11 AM
Which altcoins have potential to grow like Bitcoin?

There is potential in every coin, because there is always some fool that will buy any and every one of them,
with proven value or not.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: March 24, 2018, 05:16:42 AM
It is more common than not that the coin has no worked or vested value at all and that is something that is a basic crypto concept, something that rather than avoid that most of the trading groups have embraced, and that is where the volatile pricing indexes come from.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Massive amount of hashrate for new altcoins? on: March 23, 2018, 09:06:40 AM
Hi everyone,

Let's imagine that few days ago new altcoin appeared. It's, for example, scrypt based. And total hashrate is, at example, 5 GH/s. If I have 10 GH/s scrypt miner, how that will affect on that new altcoin? I will own 66% of hashing power, right? I will able to do 50% + 1 attack, right?

Depends on a lot. Mainly how the diff is figured. We often attack coins new and old with a low diff and scrypt or another easy algo. You are guaranteed a good block, at least that one, but after that the diff is going to start changing to meet your work. This is especially true if you are solving the blocks. The difference is there to make a block get solved every X minutes.

945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A platform for a Crypto fund on: March 19, 2018, 02:11:16 PM
You have given way too little information .

If you want to design a fund, then you will have to do it. You can set up a token, as a side chain and dev out the code to use each token return to buy X percents of the X number of coins, not too hard, just a little bit of coding, and there is no reason to "platform" it out, you will be the only one that is touching it, so there is no need for anything but a wallet and that is more than enough for you to fail.
946  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wiil bitcoin price raise up again? on: March 19, 2018, 12:17:03 PM
Hello all. As a newbie Im worried if bitcoin price will not raise up again. Because I still keep some of it. It is not much but I got worried. Sad

You are newbie, that the reason you are worried, but it is not a matter to take tension, just wait for a good time. I rely on it that bitcoin 100% increase but it take time and not for a long period of time for waiting, Only few months, you will see bitcoin will start to increase. In trading if we do work with patiently then we get profit.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how are these alt whales cashing out? on: March 19, 2018, 12:09:51 PM
Seems like neo is breaking out but i think btc will dominate this week. Thoughts?

Not only this week, but BTC will dominate this whole month. I think the good traders are not cashing out alts now. They must be waiting for the alts to rise again to be able to make up profits with altcoins also. Selling now at cheap will only make them lose the money. If you have the altcoins, then just do not do anything now and wait till the prices rise again.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So many clones of BTC. In or not? on: March 19, 2018, 11:49:43 AM
There are many clones of BTC thats coming out with so much hype. So many versions like E-BTC and many others that says they are better than BTC. Are they valuable? Or will BTC always be the King?

It is not a matter of forks or clones, it is just the timing and the visibility. Because of the previous fork and the coming week, there are more people talking about the forks and clones and there are more people paying attention, that makes it in your face, other than the fact that most of the time there are the same number going on and you see about half of them.

951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the bitcoin price determined? on: March 03, 2018, 03:37:45 AM
Every thing is worth what someone will pay for it, that is the single solitary fact in crypto. Those numbers move up and down, first by the sales themselves, creating panic or interest, and then by the rumors and information that is floating out there. Lastly, there are the world factors, like popular games(Pokemon) or popular people, and current events that trigger coin creation and value changes.
952  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: March 01, 2018, 02:46:27 PM
Bitcoin with it's high fees and slow transaction times is hardly suitable for payments – spending the same fee whether you buy a coffee or send $100,000 is a joke and the promise of scaling solutions such as the Lightning Network hasn’t been fulfilled.[1]

While there's no shortage of old and new believers to keep the party going, along with plenty of developers working to create better, forked versions of bitcoin, I’m betting my chips on a more flexible alternative.
The door is wide open for blockchains that use smart contracts, like ethereum,
[2] bitcoincash, litecoin and more......

2018 Will Be ....... Year’s? [Writer choose ethereum, what will be your choice?and why?]

Source:  [1] [2]

Don't know about its future but i can just hope and expect that this year makes bitcoin more stable. Growing of bitcoin is good but i want to see Ethereum to become more expensive. There's some more coins and we should support them too.I don't think every year is for bitcoins. Who's know this year makes other coin more expensive.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: January 07, 2018, 05:54:45 AM
Are you picky with ICOs?

Ofcourse everyone should be picky with ICO. There is no way that you invest in every ICO without thinking especially when 70% of the ICO are scam and only made for collecting the money. The more closely you study the project before investing the ICO, the more safer you are.
954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: January 05, 2018, 04:41:23 PM
I usually have a friend for keeping remind me stop become panic. It's totally bad for you all the time.
I also have a friend who keeps telling me that the value of coin increases and decreases so I should not be scared or panic cause eventually it will get high again. But when the value pf coins went down, I can't help myself; I always think negative thoughts.

Your negative thoughts mean you are panic and mostly traders are panic when they feel negative thinking, it mean when we see our coins is going down and continuously its going down then we feel panic because we are seeing a lose and in this time, we have no choice to control ourself and feel relax.

956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I Wait or Invest On Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 05:09:22 AM
No you should not wait. Nobody know when the fork appeared. Take my opinion, Invest your money and bought some bitcoins and hold them for long term when the fork appeared don't emotional because a fork it self a good thing for  bitcoins you can bought some coins and hold them. We all know the price of bitcoin never remain same, it will change every time and every moment.
957  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: December 24, 2017, 04:49:09 AM
How can you say with that confidence. There's no way to predict bitcoin's price. Many predictor got failed. I won't sell my bitcoins even the price fall to 7000 i will buy some more coins instead. That's my thought but i believe the minimum point would be 10,000$ since there's no fork appeared yet and the 2018 is on the way which will make bitcoin more popular than before.

958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese company will start paying salaries in Bitcoin on: December 19, 2017, 05:27:48 PM
TOKYO: A Japanese company will start paying part of its employees’ salaries in Bitcoin, as it aims to get better understanding of the virtual currency, a spokeswoman said on Friday.

GMO Internet, which operates a range of web-related businesses including finance, online advertising and internet infrastructure, will start paying up to 100,000 yen ($890) monthly by Bitcoin to its employees in Japan from February next year.

“Employees can receive salaries by Bitcoin if they want to,” company spokeswoman Harumi Ishii told a French wire service.

“We hope to improve our own literacy of virtual currency by actually using it,” she said.

The offer will be open to around 4,000 employees of the GMO group in Japan, she said.

The company started a Bitcoin trading and exchange business in May.

And next month, it will join the so-called “Bitcoin mining” business — gaining the right to receive new Bitcoins as a reward for helping keep the network secure by approving transactions.

World Bitcoin prices have surged globally this year, soaring from less than $1,000 in January to $17,000 this week.

Copied from a news site.

Bitcoin is advanced in japan and to much famous since the founder of bitcoin it self belongs to japan. They support bitcoin more than other country especially in aisa. Glad to hear they will start paying salaries in Bitcoin. In my country I don't see any project which start paying in bitcoins. I think people in japan are to much lucky. There Government support the crypto currencies
959  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin community is rising. on: December 19, 2017, 05:14:47 PM
Why is it bad if all people will make some financial improvements because of bitcoin. If it is for good of all people then bitcoin is good to all of us. Bitcoin community is rising knowing that bitcoin is so beneficial to all of us.

Bitcoin family is now increasing very fast just like bitcoin price is rising. Sudden and high rise of bitcoins has made bitcoin in majority of news channels and people have started taking interest in this digitial currency. Everyone is curious to know what is bitcoin and why it is rising so fast. They also want to part of it and they don't want to be left behind.

Is Bitcoin More Important Than Ethereum?

No doubt! not only Ethereum bitcoin is important than all other crypto currencies. You just can't campare with it. As far as i know Ethereum is a platform and bitcoin is a digital currency and only use if you're looking for invest. No matter how one markets other altcoins and how many new features these new crypto currencies has, Bitcoin will always be on top of it and the king of digital currency.
