1181  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin die soon? on: June 04, 2017, 06:00:59 PM
Without having fully investigated the other options, I believe there is at least one out there that still gives the security of confirmations and keeps the coin/site admins out of the mix.  I could be wrong but this slow tx confirmation maybe the reason of downfall of bitcoins someday.

2. Fees (which means you received a lot of small/micro payments) which resulted into having a big transaction size => higher fees.

This is a rob,pay 11 usd for send 4 usd ? Im receive all days 2.40 usd in this Wallet and now im what can im do for save my money here ??

I like suites like the AIO Burstcoin wallet because all they have really done is package a website within a form as an application.  That means that all they have to do is change their website or the pages that are displayed and everyone is up to date.
1183  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 04, 2017, 01:06:47 PM
I think the paper money in the future will replace, this is because the State will use digital money, fundamental things that must be resolved is the paper money of the crime-prone and could not be controlled.
No. Paper money will still exist along with cryptocurrency because people still need paper money to use for many small purposes in the real life. And we still need someone to control the money so that they can authorized the transaction and avoid scammers
Agree with you mate that paper money will not be replaced by digital currency because not all people can access this crypto currency and we can not used this like a fiat that anywhere and anytime we can buy anything we want.

Yeah and considering that we are currently in a time when there is always a threat of war and terror, it's hard to imagine digital currencies thriving under such circumstances by itself. We will always look to paper money for basic transactions

Truly. Let's just say we will have currencies which differs from digital (cyber) and real world. So for you to interact and do some transactions in the cyber world you will need its own digital currency and the best cryptocurrency currently is bitcoin while in the real world you need to use fiat to do some basic transactions. The point is cryptocurrency and fiat has its own field to shine so no need to make the other replaced or disappear if they can coexist together.

I think that once everyone has a smartphone in their hands it will end, whether there is Bitcoin there to help or not.  It is close.  The smartphone can replace paper currency, identification methods and basically everything that someone carries in their wallet, right down to photos
1184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: June 02, 2017, 11:15:52 PM
Not that soon. People like the convenience Paypal offers them when paying stuff.
Almost everybody has credit cards, which makes it simple to buy products online. BTC isn't all trustworthy for the regular people, and that's why its going to take some time before we become mainstream.
No you are not right as bitcoin is more easy way to pay for stuffs. I am very happy with bitcoin than paypal because there are a lot of issues with paypal which everyday everyone is claiming but with bitcoin there are not much issues and no one claiming as scam from bitcoin while a number of people are claiming that paypal is scamming them

No matter , paypal has few issues but still it has its own existance. One cannot deny that Paypal is serving thousand of clients worldwide and most of the paypal users are satisfied with their services too.
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $0.85 transaction fee is absolutely ridiculous! on: June 02, 2017, 10:51:43 PM
it is really frustrating..for me!! can you help me with letting me know that i have to pay 1 mbtc from coinbase !! each time i made any transaction. Sad
i dont know why it so high... is it only the coinbase charging or it is same for all other house???

thnx in advance

other people are paying similar fees too

Coinbase's fees probably don't go all for the transaction and include some tax of custody of funds, but the actual transaction fees never are below 0.0006 BTC recently

As a site owner of any kind, I would allow the clients some leeway in the fee's, while at the same time, every outgoing TX would be a smart contract.  Coinbase fee are now almost a dollar for any transaction and is quite high.

If the client sets the fee too low and the funds are still orphaned after thirty days the transaction is nulled and the balance is returned to the site, clients would quickly learn the right fees then.  No site owner can let hundreds of tiny TX's float back and forth without some control.
1186  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 02, 2017, 09:49:28 PM
off course now it says we only get the value of our account from 2 years ago, if we get any,  this lawsuit is totally worthless

so what was that guy from MT.Gox saying, he could almost pay everyone back? so paying back in meaning, the value from back then, the criminals only get better from this.

they don't even have a plan.

by the way all servers were deleted right? so that means there is nothing. and no ex employee or anyone knows anything.

we could all have been millionaires, even bigvern, but he chose the fastest way to the milliones.

They are definitely settling at the value at the moment of closure.  The case was put into court in that manor and the only people to blame are those that let it happen.  Class action or not, if you are not being represented in the manner that you feel you should be during a court case that you are involved in, then it is your duty to step forward and state that fact for the courts.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Paid services to help in social media campaign on: June 02, 2017, 09:45:15 PM
Folks,

We will conduct an ICO in mid July. Our company, Aventus, is disrupting the ticketing market. We created an announcement thread .
We are looking to read some advises about paid services like Gleam or The viral exchange. Are they worth the price? Did they help you in managing your campaign? Would you recommend it? etc etc

Thank you for sharing your experience with such services as we need to decide if we use one.

The Aventus Team

This is a great move on your part.  Social media handling has gotten so diverse that it is best handled by someone else. I will be keenly looking towards it on how it goes.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 02, 2017, 06:46:50 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
I do not think bitcoin can reduce unemployment directly, however any new technology creates new business opportunities and new jobs that can create new wealth for the people but at the same time new and more efficient technology can destroy many jobs, just look at Kodak, now that everyones has a camera that can take a number of pictures that is almost unlimited no one needs Kodak.
As long as bitcoin is offering some jobs like freelance or something like that then it is actually reducing the number of unemployment because of the easy or convenient job online and to be honest, you can earn more money in bitcoin rather than in the usual job that you can get in the real world.

In fact, bitcoin offers job opportunities that everyone can be in, this is not a real-world job in which everyone competes only for a limited position.

If the issue of kodak above becomes a reference, all things retro technology that will be replaced by technological innovation, many brands other than kodak that do not give up and compete to make smartphone products and other booming things. The connection with bitcoin is that they easily engage in bitcoin if they lose their primary job, this is an opportunity that is not owned by conventional company.

Bitcoin has opened another platform of online earning and it is very easy for the employee and employer to send and receive the money through Bitcoins. Definitely  more people are getting interested in online jobs because of bitcoins.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoin goes down when onecoin release? on: June 02, 2017, 05:58:00 PM
Maybe yes, bitcoin will go down when a new coin release.Because they will do a promotion to the new coin to let people grab it.Because people looking for the high price and good quality for earnings. The value on having a high and good income.People always look for rhe best.

Never, at least not for that reason.  These new coins come and go and have little or no effect on Bitcoin itself.  and one coins is not that special to overcome bitcoins.
1190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: June 02, 2017, 05:54:03 PM
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/b/4a0b16dd-6783-4dac-9fa0-76e923c9a774

According to this link, a bloomberg news site, it was mentioned that there are two hotels in LAS Vegas that accepts bitcoin as payment for hotels, food and drinks. If you want to visit this place as a tourist or to gamble and you happened to lost your money to gambling you can always use you stored bitcoins to get a room to sleep and relax and enjoy the food and booze.
Hotels that accept bitcoin like in Las vegas is good and maybe its one of the sign that bitcoin is improving and spreading all over the world. this is a good step because i think sooner or later other hotels in the world will accept it to.

Mostly hotels which accepts bitcoins are in developed countries or countries which are very rich and have a lot of great Internet infrastructure. Small countries hotels cant even think of accepting bitcoin at present.
1191  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 02, 2017, 05:46:34 PM
my way of spreading bitcoin knowledge is first i well give some advise to my friends  for  earn extra money online. then i tell to friends about bitcoin and their advantages and disadvantages. and basic of bitcoins. and send them website link for encourage. the important thing to show them my Xapo account and bitcoins.

That will always lead them to another question and another those will vary person to person. The first year may find them fairly able to get around the exchanges, the coin and do some things, but there will question after question popping up.

1192  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account stolen, please give negative trust to the accounts on: June 02, 2017, 05:37:39 PM
Not getting it, what in that picture is supposed to prove anything?  Not saying that you are lying, I just don't understand the nature of the 'proof'.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin pump groups on: June 02, 2017, 05:33:05 PM
Imagine that myself and nine other people decide to slow, with increasing speed, buy the X coin.  This is leaving out anything about promotion, rumor building and the such, just plain old buy it for the price rise.
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: June 02, 2017, 05:17:14 PM
Safe wallet and small fee what wallet is it?

I think any desktop wallet is safe as you have control over private key. For the fee, i do not think any wallet exists which has low fee and if you deliberatly send low fee, you transaction will never be confirmed.
1195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money? on: June 01, 2017, 10:36:30 PM
I don't see that happening. Conventional money will still exist, as you can't impose bitcoin on everyone for transaction purposes. Sure, there really would have been widespread usage of bitcoin globally, but other fiat currencies still remains for other local use. Moreover,  I still always insist we don't have a clue what the future holds for bitcoin.
True, conventional money will never be replaced by bitcoin and will always exist. Many things that make bitcoin can not replace the conventional currency, one of which is the regulation of the government, to date there are many countries that prohibit the use of bitcoin even though some countries allow transactions using bitcoin

It is not likely to happen anytime soon, but nothing is impossible. I think we might see bitcoin replacing the fiat and all world a digital one in 10 to 20 years buts for now it is like impossible to happen.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When to leave the game? on: June 01, 2017, 06:20:50 PM
When target is reached, it maybe the best time to leave gambling table. Because, from my experience during gambling, if consistent on the target everything went well, but when started a bit naughty then i play on and end up with zero balance.

Yes, we need to be careful on how and when to stop for the day. If we keep on going with all-in profits it may lead to failure. A successful gambler is one who can have his emotions and greediness controlled.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what is the fairest bitcoin betting game you know? on: June 01, 2017, 06:15:57 PM
The fairest one are those blockchain based games. Since no one really can predict it. Then there are those games that have only one result for the whole community of gamblers. People can just compare their results and have all the same result since there is only one.

What do you mean by blockchain based games ? You mean bitcoin related games ?
Sports betting is the most fair one i think as other games like Dice etc has house-edge a determining factor for the fairness of the game.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees!!! on: June 01, 2017, 05:55:48 PM
Well, I do want someone to take the responsibility for that slow confirmed transaction. Anyhow, it is a problem which everyone is facing everyday
let us not forget that most of these casinos and sportsbooks dont put these fees on us and they have taken the resposibility to take it up as there own, besides the are profit based businesses so i guess they have to minimize on loss by setting acceptable fees which in most instances are not that slow to confirm.

I think these casinos earn so much that they do not have to worried about the fee and they give fee of transactions themselves, as it is so minimal as compare to the profits they earn.

1200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: user to user betting on: June 01, 2017, 11:01:59 AM
I don't think you'll have an rasy time finding a site like that dude. might as well just bet with your friends. that way you're also sure that it would be a fair betting : D

I also haven't seen any p2p site for betting online but the idea is good. Just like we use torrent to download movies/ software from Peer to peer systems,  something should be develop to allow p2p betting also.
