1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SNC] SunContract - Decentralized Energy Market on: June 09, 2017, 10:44:53 PM
India is a booming market for renewable energy, many wind farms and solar grids. Now this question might sound utterly stupid, in India renewable industry comes under Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, means the government should be on one end of the contract as a supplier, right. And if that country has not legalised BTC or ETH, that would be tricky.
This is exactly what i mentioned earlier in this thread, there will be legal issues and many paper works to be done to make this project a reality and it might take a longer time for everything to settle down because it is not that easy to get the paper works done pretty fast particularly if a government is involved, legalization of bitcoin or ETH is another chapter.
I think the government will not be a bigger problem for that project because they are using this system as a way to collect funds for the project and the token is working as the shares of the investors which I think is legal for any government.

Obviously they have started such a big project and already invested in it a lot. They must have done their homework well and Government will not be hinderence in their way. I wish this project a real success.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin pump groups on: June 09, 2017, 10:38:01 PM
For example, Our pump plan is to start June 5 and end June 10.  We publish this plan, as well as putting noon EST in the public plan so that we all can work together for the highest profit.  Well, that means that we all intend to dump our coins on June 10 at noon and everyone now knows that. Grin

Nice one ! If another person, outside that group sees this, then they should plan to dump theirs at 11:30 AM, before the price drops at noon when the pump group dumps.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 10 HRS TO GO on: June 09, 2017, 10:30:34 PM

Minex ICO will end in 6days time and there is an offer of 15% discount if you will participate in the next 10hrs.

Hello!
We would like to inform you that 10 hours left to get 15% bonus participating in Minexcoin ICO.
All ivestments are escrowed using Multisignature Wallet.

There are possibilities is the coin, but the control of the rewards system is still fully in the hands of the dev.  The algo system is being sold based on people's concerns and fears about the constant price/value shifts in alt coins that makes it hard to bring them into the consumer market.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: June 09, 2017, 10:13:22 PM
Important questions:

I get the message that GPU #no found an incorrect share and that I should look if my o/c is stable, but then the share is not counted as rejected?

Which shares are counted as rejected?

Is there a way to count all incorrect shares to see if our overclocks are ok?

Your OS seems to be taking off too.  I understand the appeal and if I had the time and space for another box in this office I would be all over that, but we are packed to the brim with mining boxes and other computers
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: June 09, 2017, 07:52:47 PM
What's up with the network? Different pools have different block heights...

No, this is likely a pool fork, they happen a lot with this coin for some reason. I am not sure why.  Basically, once you find you are good and mining, then just keep doing that and do not worry much.  It works itself out over time.
1166  Other / Meta / Re: A lot hacked stolen accounts on: June 09, 2017, 06:48:35 PM
A lot accounts who last post is late 2015 are hacked or stolen it's stange that the past few weeks only accounts from this time are hacked, is there a new db lake or something?

Crypto and Bitcoin is easily the biggest hive of low lifes out there.  I think many people have a load of accounts on forums and exchanges and other sites that involve Bitcoin. They have reasons like You have to have all these accounts to deal with multiple coins, this coin is on this exchange and that coin is on that exchange, blah blah.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the next 3 most promising ICOs? on: June 09, 2017, 06:17:38 PM
I just suggest to you, If you want to join and invest in ICO project maybe this third project is very promising for you.

1. Minexcoin

2. Monaco

3. IDICE

Smart contracts are out there, but not very popular and they only scratch the surface of what can be done through scripted TX's.  I want to see a new coin or a new service that simplifies that scripting and coding of TX's for people so that more and more can be done by the common user
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Burst Mining Issue and Questions (Open Bounties) on: June 09, 2017, 05:31:54 PM
First off, plotting is going to be the slowest part of Burstcoin mining and while there are ways to speed it up, at least you only have to write the plots once.  It seems that your main concerns are with the mining, not the plotting.

Yes, plotting is the slowest part.  I figured it will be smart to slowly grow my mine, since buying a bunch of hard drives wouldn't make much sense if I can't put them all to work right away anyway.

My main concern is currently getting mining to be fast.  I am currently optimizing my first 8 TB drive to see if that fixes my slow mining issues.  So far results seem positive that, that will fix the issue, but need to be sure.  The optimizing process seems to be taking longer than the plotting to be honest.

Then, make sure that your environment variables are set corectly to point to the right directory for java.  There are many ways to check and many ways to change it, but the end result should be that "java_home" and perhaps "java" symbolically point to your java installation.
1169  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTSY stopping withdraw locking accounts without notifying users! Class Action on: June 09, 2017, 05:26:33 PM
The attorneys stated at the time of the original court request that they were concerned that the value of the coins would drop significantly over time and they demanded that the values be locked for the settlement.  That is why this is happening, that was the specific request of the attorney that was representing the clients.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beth ICO ( Beth.jp ) Another Scam in cryptoland on: June 09, 2017, 05:19:55 PM
This is not the story with all ICO's, new coins and dev's projects, but it is the end of many of them.  The new coin market is so bogged down with scammers, dev's that can't handle supporting the coin over the long term, and just mis-handled coins that even the best ideas and concepts die out before they can begin.

It is the reality and it kills a lot of potential tech, but it is the reality that we have. Need to be careful in selection of the ICO and where to invest and where not to invest.

1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | Nxt | Blockchain Platform | Proof of Stake | Official on: June 09, 2017, 05:07:39 PM
Therefore, it stands to reason that I can log out and back in using any passphrase and open a random account.  Hacking issue is that the vast number of possible passphrases is ridiculous and the software suggest 35 characters or more.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will mining at very cool temperatures significantly shorten the lifespan of 1070 on: June 09, 2017, 04:03:44 PM
I have been mining Siacoin with my GTX1070 for a couple days with very few breaks. Is it bad to run my GPU 24/7?

Stays cool around 47C but i occasionally get up to 52C, i give it a break for a couple hours per day.

Newer parts, anything from the last twenty years is best just left running.  It is like a car in a way.  You would be better just driving down the road than hitting the gas to full, backing off and shutting the car off, then repeating the process.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Earn some bitcoins with ads on: June 09, 2017, 03:58:38 PM
If it feeds the need for Bitcoin, you can set up a direct deposit to BTC wallet service, there are a couple.  They work as though they were a normal direct deposit bank account and then convert the funds to Bitcoin and forward those to your Bitcoin wallet, minus a fee I am sure.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BipCoin, CryptoNote with Fast, Solid Transactions + profitable to mine on: June 09, 2017, 03:49:44 PM
The basic question is whether we need a new blockchain download or the old one is good since the update.  We can move the wallet.dat file or do an import after the new install, but do we need to sync fully through the new wallet or can we quicken that with the old blockchain?
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BURST] Burst | Efficient HDD Mining | New 1.2.3 Fork block 92000 on: June 08, 2017, 11:30:54 PM
Hey Guys,

This themes to be a quite healthy community. I just get in to Crypto Currency and would like to try the mining process.

Would somebody be so kind to donate some coins to get an mining beginner started?

Of cause i will keep you posted about my findings and progress:
Address: BURST-W7FG-8JNV-R8CR-2AVDU

Thanks a lot.

There is a link to a faucet at the burst forum you can get some coins there.

Hey Thanks for the hind. Unfortunately this faucets do not work
i'm getting error messages that my address is not new but definitely is.

Plus, of there ever is a file issue and something happens, then you will not lose a huge file that has to be redone, but perhaps a handful of smaller files that can be replaced easier.
1176  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I want to build Web bitcoin wallet service on: June 08, 2017, 11:01:13 PM
Building a bitcoin wallet is really easy. As others told there are so many scripts available out there. By using that you can build a wallet. You may need to hire a programmer too. But you cannot entirely depend upon the programmer. You need some technical knowledge about the programming as well as blockchain to figure out any backdoors in the program. Not only that , you need a good budget in your hand before starting the project. You will need to run a signature campaign or something similar to make your wallet a popular brand among other wallets.

Build Bitcoin and Litecoin from scratch and compile them on both a Windows and Linux PC.  Use that knowledge to compile your own coin with different parameters.
1177  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHUB.io - Micro-cache/Mini-exchange, Bitcoin & Alt-coins. on: June 08, 2017, 10:54:29 PM
I have recently been playing with that site and noticed a couple things.  The micro site itself is looking great and I like the way that faucet micros seem to be adding a lot more to make themselves more useful and attractive, the level systems and such.

On the other side of the coin is the fact that the faucets are going down hill very quickly.  There are a few that use one of the standard scripts, but there are more and more that are implementing three to four levels of link shorteners

There is one thing, putting a single shortener in there and some ads, but some of these guys go way too far and the fact is that they won't go long before the shortener bans them, or the faucet site.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][1CR] 1CRedit Coin Relaunch on: June 08, 2017, 01:37:04 PM
Great coin model, was foolish of them to delist a low supply altcoin that had decent community support. If the bitcoin price goes wild in the future 10x or more for example, many former btc markets won't be able to hold their liquidity or prices due to their high supply.

I do not understand the efforts in a dead coin when it would be just as easy and probably more lucrative to get on a newer coin.  The coin was delisted back in January, the two pools listed in the OP do not have the coin on there anymore
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine Zcash - ZEC Mining CPU & GPU 32x & 64x(Windows) on: June 08, 2017, 01:31:04 PM
This is a nice guide, but I have never seen the zcash miner work properly with any software combination on a CPU. We briefly tried this with a non-GPU system, Windows based and we were missing one of the dependencies, just a simple fix, but we will check on that more later.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best ROI on USD for new and current mining setup on: June 04, 2017, 06:05:53 PM
Many people set out mining with a small start rig like yours, set their eyes on the next stage up and by the time that the funds are there for that next step up, the next step that they aimed for is way behind the times.
