861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google possesses threat to bitcoin. What do you say? on: November 18, 2019, 02:22:04 AM
Quantum supremacy was a lie or a failure attempt. may be they failed to break cryptography but they showed potential risks and whole crypto industry
Bitcoin is able to change if needed.
Best developers, highly motivated miners/devs/users. This trio team can do whatever is needed to resist quantum power.
I don't guess that, i know that.

Quantum theory is more sort of a Hoax and there is no threat the bitcoin blockchain because of this. Yes, it is a fact that computing powers will be increased over the years but they will have no effect on bitcoin. The question on bitcoin be able to change, if required is out of question as no one want the current status to be changed and it should not be changed.
862  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dangerous disadvantage of web wallet. on: November 17, 2019, 02:41:37 PM
I think most of small crypto users like me just use web wallet to hold crypto-currency. Because we have lack of technical knowledge about bitcoin technology. And as a result most of us don't bother to use wallet software like Bitcoin core or Electrum.

I will describe today one of most dangerous disadvantage of web wallet which have a painful example.

Usually most of us just limited on few boards and don't bother to read even some important board. That's why I am bothering to create a awareness about that disadvantages. So, please take a look on this thread first and read how OP lost 32 bitcoin at once.

We are talking here about 32 bitcoins and who is stupid enough to hold this much big amount of funds in online web wallet ? You can keep few 1000 dollars in coinbase or other online wallets, but 32 bitcoins should be stored in hardware wallet. I wouldn't even risk to store them on my desktop wallet.
I do hope he gets his money back, i can't even imagine the feeling on losing this much amount of money.
863  Economy / Gambling / Re: Our new site CryptoCazino.com A Provably fair casino. on: November 17, 2019, 01:00:36 PM
The OP has previsouly owned this site bitcoinrentofficial.org and here is the Announement thread and here also. I do not know whether  these sites were scam or not but getting the feedback of those sites, we can very well determine the future of this new site too CryptoCazino.com as it is being run by the same admin.
By the way, this is not a professional way of introducing a site here. You need to be bit more detailed and appealing.
864  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM Alert] Briefcrypt.com offer 0.8 BTC . Beware...... on: November 17, 2019, 07:07:08 AM
Many newbies would think that by depositing 0.02 btc, it would be better if they could get 0.8 btc.

If you find out more information, feel free to share here.

More scams can be found on this thread.
 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5081286.0

Also we should read List of (un)known methods scammers user to scam users with honorable mention . The most common method being used by scammers these days is "Deposit before withdrawing" and newbies + seniors are becoming victim of it.
865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2019 on: November 17, 2019, 04:32:41 AM
In T10 league all teams are scoring 100+ runs and some of the team chase the 100+ runs so what you think about that and  how it is going to change players mind set to playing T10 game.

If you remember before the introduction of T20, 250+ score was considered good in 50 overs cricket. But after the introduction of 20 Overs cricket, the average score in 50 over cricket increased to 300+ runs. Same will happen after this T10 tournaments gets popularity. Currently 150-170 is considered a good score in T20, We may see this number goes up to 190-220 runs.
866  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [SCAM ALERT] Blockchaiın.com Phishing website. Beware.... on: November 16, 2019, 01:23:22 PM
Don't trust any website where they ask you to put your private key. So always check the URL before entering your details. So that we will be secure from any scam.

In this case they are giving a big giveaway and therefore people fall for their greed. In most cases, if we have bookmark the important sites, we can avoid the phishing sites. Double check the url while trying to login a site can save you big troubles.
867  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are the campaign managers doing the job correctly? on: November 16, 2019, 09:24:38 AM
4 months is long enough to gather information, if you are reading rather than posting in threads unnecessarily. My finding is purely accidental and I wouldn't have made this post, but I felt that the user is cheating money out of the project. But there is no break of rules, that's why I posted here. I don't want to damage the reputation of any user here.

If you are not willing to disclose which participant is doing this and who is managing that campaign, then you are opening a thread for trolling only. There will be endless views here. By not telling the exact manager name, you cannot just point your fingers with the argument that all the managers are not doing the job correctly.
Either point out the exact participant or close this Pandora box.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: mBit casino offers "no deposit" spins that require a deposit on: November 16, 2019, 08:42:22 AM
I keep getting these emails that offer no deposit spins, but they absolutely require a deposit. you shouldn't call something "no deposit" if it requires a deposit. that's like saying "free for only $9.99!"

https://imgur.com/a/0ZWslEC

thoughts?

I just hate the emails which comes to my inbox unwillingly. I do not like such type of email marketing in which the companies send emails to everyone as it is treated as a junk mail. Most of the time their purpose is to do fraud. If they cannot say directly to deposit 9.9$ and insist of focus on free deposit (when it is not free), you can clearly guess the honestly of the site  Angry
869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 16, 2019, 05:18:00 AM
What's best for gambling online? Crypto or Fiat? As for me, I'd rather go full crypto than Fiat for many obvious reasons. Crypto may be extremely volatile, but it's anonymous (depending on the coin) and censorship-resistant. Fiat may bring convenience to people that are not tech-savvy enough to understand crypto, but it can easily be traced by worldwide governments.

Crypto enables online casinos to perform their operations in a somewhat anonymous fashion. Both the gambler and the owner benefits from this. But I understand that crypto is still not accepted at physical casinos. In this regard, Fiat is the winner.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts? Huh

It depends upon the place you are gambling. If you are gambling online then the best way is to gamble with the crypto money. But if you are going in a physical casino, then it is better to play with fiat. Also most physical casino does not offer you to play with crypto so the options are limited if you are at casino in your town.
870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin rise by the end of this year on current time? on: November 15, 2019, 08:52:40 AM
How much will it go up if it goes up?
If Bitcoin price will be down, how much will it goes down?

If you have a website that can predict the price of Bitcoin, please recommend it.
I know just one, "Longforecast"

And let me know how accurate the prediction is based on experience.

What will be the price in 2020 and beyond, much will depend at which price we will close this year. Nothing can be said with perfection but at one side we had a death cross but on the 2nd side we will have halving in about less than 200 days. So i think it may be bullish this time because of the hype in the market for bitcoin halving.
871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Informed is Your Country's Police About Crypto? on: November 15, 2019, 05:00:55 AM
In my country, I see many sites that are Bitcoin ponzi and scams. These thrive because the police put in little effort in tacking them. I like the awareness being created by the Indian police. What is the awareness level of law enforcement about crypto in your country? If All Police Officers are Trained in Crypto... https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/indian-police-train-officers-on-cryptocurrency/

I heard somewhere that Bitcoin is ban in India ? If so, the police should be looking to find where it is being used and bust those people.
In most of the countries, the police is always after the crime and scams but it is difficult to track the scams done through crypto. Even, in New Zealand where the law and order situation is very good as compare to other countries, they are still unable to track the cryptopia exchange scammers, so this shows how difficult it is.
872  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto Adoption Expanding Everywhere on: November 15, 2019, 04:20:05 AM
>> Any instance where Crypto is adopted can be shared in this thread. Also, share your comments/opinion on this.

You can find a  big database of online shops and projects which are accepting bitcoins on this link. https://www.spending-bitcoin.com
But still this adoption is very low as compare to whole world business and marketplaces but sooner or later the adaption of bitcoin will spread everywhere.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sports predictions on: November 15, 2019, 03:32:29 AM
Im very confused how to win with high odds in soccer prediction. Because winning with low odds is very basic IMO , i mean it's not specific but mostly low odds always win , the potential is higher unlike with high odds as its 50/50 chance wherein very unpredictable.  Is there any strategy you know except viewing their past game or history?

Usually you will get a low odd for a team which is more stronger and have more chances of winning. On the other hand you will get a high odd for a weaker team. Now its upto you on how to bet on which team. You may bet on a low odd with more chances of winning unless an upset happens or you may hope for an upset and bet on high odd team.
Usually i prefer sometimes to bet on a high odd with less amount of money, so in case of a loss, my money loss is also less and sometimes i get lucky and wins too.
874  Economy / Gambling / Re: Beat the Bookie ( Round 6 ) - Updated Today 12/11/2019 - We have a winner! on: November 15, 2019, 02:34:42 AM
Look like he has run away since Darkstar has started winning the bets. Also i think he has not paid him the last two bets he has won for the pacers and the lakers.
If he want to take a break from bookie, he should mention it here , rather than disappearing from the scene without paying the last bets which the bookie lost.
That does not make a lot of sense in my opinion. If he really wanted to scam Darkstar, he wouldn't bother sending him the winnings from earlier which were higher in the first place. Op probably is busy with real world stuff which is why it is too early to start accusing him.

Lets be patient for a couple more days to know what the truth is. Meanwhile, it is best to stop jumping to conclusions.

Lol blind people.
He is a scammer. I was telling from the very beginning  Grin He just wanted to keep winning and he paid darkstar only once to attract new people to bet big and if he lose, he has nothing to lose (Except his newbie account)  Roll Eyes

The new people were not attracted even after darkstar was paid. If his purpose was to scam, then he is at a loss because he has not collected that much amount of money which he paid to Darkstar already.
Yeah, its true that he has not been online here to present his point of view but if he has already quit then he is at a loss.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: November 14, 2019, 06:35:14 AM
Looks like a batting disaster for Bangladesh after they won the toss and chose to bat first. Bangladesh are 12/2 after 8 overs

By lunch time first day, Bangladesh manage to make 63 - 3. I didn't understand why they chose to bat first on the green wicket. The three fast bowlers are looking in full form in the first session and it will be interesting if India continue with Ashwin from one end after the break and one end will be shared by the 3 fast bowlers. If Bangladesh can survive all day today, it will be a great achievement for them.
876  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}:Please stay away from this Youtube Channel on: November 14, 2019, 04:53:04 AM
Done reporting. What worries me though is that the owner might engage bots to spam likes and fake comments, luring ignorant users to fall victim in their own greed.

This channel contains only 341 users and there might be same fake users too but since they have a malware script with them, they can spread in many ways including social media, twitter etc. We should be extra careful with our computers if our wallets exists on our computer.
877  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for members – get paid to your BTC and LTC wallets on: November 14, 2019, 03:50:29 AM
The comments above are cringe as fuck!  Lips sealed

@OP, I look at it this way, If I get a coupon that actually gives 50% off on a product that costs 100$, one would buy it for 50$. You technically have that coupon and I make only 0.40$ out of it? A terrible deal I guess.

I can actually buy the product and sell it online for a profit of 10% which is way more than the 0.40$ profit I'd get after putting all my efforts in finding coupons.

Finding coupons is not an easy task itself and even if one find few, less than half a dollar is not worth it.
OP needs to clear exactly how this will work and also he need to increase the reward if he want anyone working for him.
878  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Get Paid in Bitcoin for answering tech questions on: November 14, 2019, 02:33:15 AM
Hi guys thank you all for your interest. The site is https://dzhaven.com. Please note its just started so there's not much traffic. But what I would like is feedback in terms of updates to features and bugs.

Both bounty setup and answer payout are working. And all posts can be done with youtube video as well as text.

Your concept is good one but i am doubtful if it will work because of two reasons.

First, there are many websites like these where you can get the answers to your questions for free. People will only come here if they have a very typical question which they cannot find the answer easily elsewhere.

Secondly, if A post question and B replies to it, the amount will go to B regardless of B not fully satisfying the A question ?
On other situation even if B answers perfectly, A denies it purposely to avoid the payment ?  Lots of things to consider on what will be a perfect answer to be paid and how the both parties will agree that B has answered and it helped A.
879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Beat the Bookie ( Round 6 ) - Updated Today 12/11/2019 - We have a winner! on: November 13, 2019, 01:58:12 PM
Looks like Darkstar won again and is on a roll here. Both Pacers and Lakers ended up winning though he lost the free bet thanks to Blazers losing. I do hope you provide more matches though(Any sport) in order to take advantage of the 5 pick parlay.

I mentioned in the thread as ive now been scammed twice the rules were likely to change. I will update the main post to reflect this.
This is the smart thing to do. I would advise you to collect full payment from newbies and members with negative trust instead of a partial payment since they could still scam you in order to secure your winnings op.

Actually OP is a newbie so no one could trust him initially but its just a matter of time when OP will keep on paying like this and after few successful payments, he can demand for full payment from all the members of the forum beforehand and not just newbies or negative rating ones.
